“Come inside me, Zeke,” she moaned, her pussy seeming to clench me harder than ever and driving me out of my damn mind.

  “Fuck, Allison—”

I reached down and grasped her breast as she came again. That, finally, got me off too, causing me to start emptying myself inside her.

Fuck, that felt good. That felt really fucking good.

“Oh my god,” she said, sitting up and kissing me, her tongue swirling around me.

“That was fucking incredible. I missed you.”

I kissed the corner of her lip and pulled back to take in her flushed face.

“Mhm,” she said with a laugh. “You’re going to like me even more when I tell you what’s in the fridge. I made mac and cheese.”

“I’m flattered,” I said with a laugh, but I couldn’t even begin to express how appreciated the gesture was.

This is going to be really, really good.

When we did make it to the kitchen and started eating said mac ‘n cheese—which was better than the one at my house—I realized everything felt oddly natural and familiar, just being here with her and enjoying having her with me. I wanted more of it, and I had to hope that she did too. I had hinted at wanting more before, but I had a feeling I needed to really drive home the point to her.

“What did you do with those photos?” I asked her out of curiosity.

“I used them to apply for the job here.”

  What? What?!?

  That’s fucking awesome!

“You needed my nudes to apply for a job?” I said, joking with her.

She giggled and shook her head.

“No, it’s—well, technically, sort of? This photographer is looking for an associate assistant and I needed a portfolio to apply. All my other photos are nature shots, stuff for class. But she’s more of a mood photographer, personal images.”

  “What’s that mean?”

“It means pictures of people, sometimes intimate photos. Couples who want images to look back on, people wanting to capture their figure or something. It varies.”

“So my muscles and tattoo work for you,” I said with a laugh. This was honestly more of an ego stroke than anything else.

I reached out and nipped at her earlobe just for good measure. She cackled and pulled me away.

“No,” she said defensively. “I mean, yes but—it was just nice to capture is all. I hope you don’t mind. Especially the um, one when you were sleeping.”

I smiled. While it might have been for someone else, it wasn’t really a concern for me. What was I going to do, get upset that the world was seeing my body?

“No, I like it, I told you. If I had any talents beyond sleep, I’d do them while you were sleeping too.”

“Okay Zeke,” she said with a playful eye roll. “And I might not get it anyway, it’s very competitive.”

“I think you will. Have some faith in yourself, you’re amazing.”

I kissed her, and she pulled back to give me a long look before she kissed me back. She settled against my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck, deepening the kiss. She felt so good against me.

I cannot get enough of this. I hope I never reach that point where I say “enough is enough.”

I don’t even think that’s possible with you, Allison. You might just be…

  No, no might.

  You are my forever.

  Allison

  One Week Later

I didn’t want to be nervous, but I couldn’t help it.

It was Zeke’s family, after all. I wanted to make a good impression on him, because I liked him. I really, truly, sincerely liked him.

He encouraged me and made me feel like I could actually accomplish my goals. No one had ever done that for me, at least not to the extent that Zeke did. No one had ever treated me like a piece of art like he had while also ravaging my body.

In short, it was an easy decision with everything settled to remain committed to him.

I wore respectable jeans and a blouse, something that told his mom I wasn’t just his fuck buddy. Admittedly, learning how to be boyfriend girlfriend with our disparate worlds was not as easy as we might have hoped, especially since our schedules weren’t perfectly aligned, but I wasn’t that worried about it. We had the important fact that we wanted to be serious established quite clearly. The rest would get figured out in time.

When Zeke picked me up, his presence just comforted me and made me fall for him even more. I realized just how hard I was falling for him. It was going much better than I had ever thought it would—which, sure, was a little scary, but it was a fear I was willing to face because of the possibilities.

And the best part was, I had some great news for him when he picked me up.

“You’re looking mighty chipper, goddess,” he said as I leaned in to kiss him.

“You would be too if you saw what I just saw,” I said. “I got called in for a final interview for the position here.”

He didn’t even bother to moderate his excitement, sticking his hands in the air in jubilation before wrapping them around me to pull me in close. The news, when I had seen it, gave me an enormous boost of confidence we would work. I still would have stuck it out here as much as I could have if the job had fallen through, but this was the perfect positive step in the right direction.

“Oh, baby,” Zeke said, pulling me in for a kiss. “You can tell the whole family.”

“Oh, God,” I said as I lifted my leg and straddled the bike. “I’m not going to lie, I’m a little terrified.”

Zeke smirked, revved the engine, and I wrapped my arms around him.

“They’ll love you, don’t worry,” Zeke said. “And my nephew is pretty talkative, but my niece is a baby so she just might spit up on you a little.”

“I think the spit up is easier than meeting your mom.”

Yeah, I’m a bit of a nervous wreck.

We took off for his mother’s place, a beautiful home that gave me ideal images of what I hoped to someday have with Zeke. Was that thinking too far ahead too quickly? Maybe.

But was it something that I thought was possible? Oh, definitely. Most definitely.

“My mom is pretty laid back, don’t worry about her,” Zeke said as we pulled up to the house and parked. “I’ll tell her this is still casual-ish. If I tell her you’re my girlfriend, then she might start showing you baby pictures. I don’t mind telling her if you want me to, but—”

“Oh god, please don’t tell her that,” I said, clutching his arm and following him in.

Zeke just laughed at me, yet another reminder how much I yearned to have his easy-going spirit for as long as possible. We rounded the corner in the home, and my heart suddenly stopped racing at seeing his brothers, sisters-in-law, and mother, like I already knew them or something. Their expressions were warm and inviting, and if I had worried about anything, I really never had had to.

It was as if every sign I could ever receive about Zeke’s life was based around the idea of showing me I had nothing to really worry about.

“Guys, this is Allison. Be nice and don’t bother her.”

“Okay,” one of his brothers said as he approached with a gentle smile. “Allison, I’m Simon.”

I shook his hand and found the resemblance between all of them striking. The rest of them did the same. Jaxson, who I thought I had met before, and Matthew, who decided to hug me instead of shaking my hand, also greeted me warmly; of the three, Matthew was the warmest, Simon was the calmest, and Jaxson… Jaxson had the most air of authority to him. I wouldn’t call him cold, but it was clear he preferred to be on the quiet side of things.

And then, after briefly meeting all of the wives and girlfriends, I met the one that had me so nervous I would have preferred baby vomit to having a serious conversation with her.

  Zeke’s mother.

“Hello Allison, it’s so nice to meet you.”

I had a lot of fears about her judging me or looking down on me as a
new girl, but instead, Zeke’s mother just hugged me. I have to say, there were few things more reassuring about the potential of something long term than having the mother of the man you’re with greet you with a sincere, gentle hug.

“It’s nice to meet you too, Mrs. Kinsmen,” I said with a smile.

“Oh please, call me Anne. Zeke hasn’t told me much about you, I assume you met recently.”

The rest of them were milling about the kitchen as I talked to her. This was something of an awkward point, but really, we only had met pretty recently. It wasn’t an inaccurate thing to say on her part.

  “Yes um, pretty recently.”

I glanced over at Zeke and narrowed my eyes nervously, but he just laughed and drank from his beer, looking damned hot as he did. He dressed nicer, in khakis and a white shirt, for Sunday dinner with his family. I found that very endearing—when I wasn’t wondering if I was going to say the exact wrong thing to his mother.

“Oh. I know how that goes. I’m glad he brought you by.”

And then, just like that, Anne was moving elsewhere, but in the short time we’d talked, she had erased a significant percentage of my doubts. She moved around the kitchen in her purple dress, looking like something out of a movie. The only indication of her age was around her eyes; otherwise, she didn’t really look like she birthed four boys who were well into adulthood.

We piled over to the table, with the little kid, Michael, sitting between his parents, and Grace and Matthew’s daughter already sleeping and in her bassinet. The chicken parm dinner was absolutely amazing. I could get used to this.

With Zeke next to me, laughing with his family and feeling at home—I could get used to it.

Conversation flowed freely between everyone, and while I couldn’t pretend to understand the context of almost anything, it was clear that whatever had taken place a week ago with the “Cavaros” or whoever they were, it had done a lot of good for the club. The cliche of bikers as tough, rough, gritty guys might have been true and it might still have been true, but it was as if they were leaving work behind here. They were cheerful, trading good-natured jabs and jokes, and laughing and smiling all throughout.

I tried to help clean up, but Zeke pushed me away, saying it was the job of the sons to handle that. I sat relatively close to the kitchen so I could eavesdrop on what they were talking about, and I have to say, it was so warm and so reassuring what I heard.

“You finally found someone, huh, lover boy,” Matthew said.

“Shut the fuck up,” Zeke said, but it was with a good tone. “Wouldn’t you if you met her?”

“I mean, I’m very good with Grace, but thanks for the offer,” Matthew said with a snort.

“Yeah, it’s about time you joined us,” Simon said.

  “Kid’s growing up,” Jaxson said.

“Oh Jesus, just because I found the one who can calm me, you all are going to think I’m suddenly some wise sage?”

“Fuck no,” Jaxson said, leading to laughter from the other three. “We’re just happy that you decided to join the club of adulthood.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Zeke said, and I could practically hear the smile on his face.

This banter went on for another few minutes before Zeke came out and took my hand. He led me to the back porch, wrapping his arm around me. For a few moments, we just sat in silence, taking the stars above us in.

“Crazy, ain’t it,” he finally said. “When we first met, I was just a player behind a bar, and you were just a vagabond passing through. And now… well, would you say it’s fair to say we’ve changed?”

  “Okay. Zeke…”

I took a deep breath and kissed him.

  “I have changed.”

His face softened at me as he gave me a soft smile. His next words were all the words I ever needed to hear.

  “I’ve changed too.”

  Epilogue

  Six Months Later

“I think I should get some of the credit, I mean it is my ass in the photo.”

“It doesn’t work that way, it’s my photo.”

  “I beg to differ.”

I kissed Allison on her cheek as I came up behind her, smiling over her framed image. It was sitting on a large table in the middle of the empty studio that would soon be full of images. Her images.

  Images of… my girl.

To say that I was proud of Allison would be an understatement. About a week after she had first come over to my mother’s house, she had officially gotten the job for the mood photographer. It was a day of celebration, going out, and some mind-blowing sex.

But more than that, it was officially the day in which any lingering obstacles were officially blown to smithereens. We no longer had to worry about “that one thing” in the back of our minds. We could just focus on developing and building our relationship for the future and letting that bud up naturally.

The six months since had been nothing short of perfect. It took us about three months to say that we loved each other, and had I been told that I’d say that to someone after three months, I would have laughed it off. But when I said it, if anything, the prevailing thought was “what the hell took you so long, ya dummy?”

It only felt natural that we would feel so serious and so special, because on the other end, all of the other brothers were doubling down on their relationships. Rosella was pregnant with baby number two, a fact that we both congratulated and gave shit to Simon about. Raising Lauren for Matthew and Grace was a challenge, but it was no more of a challenge than the typical baby. Jaxson and Isabelle weren’t having kids quite yet, but it was pretty obvious by the way my brother doted on her that that was a question of when, not if.

With that all in mind, the only real question was when I would get serious enough to commit to Allison.

Fortunately, I had the answer just in mind.

“Well, you can big to differ all you want, nobody who doesn’t know you is going to think it’s Zeke Kinsmen in that.”

I laughed as I wrapped my arm around Allison. We were inside of her new photography studio, a venture that I had partially funded with my father’s money. It only seemed right and fair that it would work out this way, honestly; I don’t think my father had given us his money with the intent of us blowing it on hookers and drugs and guns. He’d given it to us so that we could build our lives and have something very much like what he had with Mom. It had taken me a little bit of time to find that, maybe because of youth or maybe because of something else, but I was sure as hell glad to have found it now.

The real question of doubt was whether Allison felt ready to take the leap. I encouraged her, but the truth was, I had no idea if I was encouraging a career move that was downright dangerous or a move that would ultimately unlock her full potential. I didn’t have any risk in it; the worst case was her studio closed and she stayed with me as Grace had with Matthew, minus the drama.

Grace, though, made the leap without fear and with full confidence. She did not hesitate in the slightest when the work with the mood photographer started to dry up some; I almost wanted to caution her to slow down a bit, but that probably would have been awfully rich for me to tell someone to slow down.

I guess it was just yet another sign that I was more than happy to be with Allison instead of out trying to sleep with as many women as possible.

“I suppose I can let this credit go,” I said. “As long as I get credit for other things. You know. Like being a Sex God.”

“Oh, God, I thought that was retired,” Allison said with a smirk.

“What, giving you endless orgasms? Never.”

Allison blushed, causing me to laugh. But the laughter was as much to hide my nerves about what was to happen as it was in response to her physical reaction.

“But you know what else I’d like to be endless? Us. You are my goddess, Allison, which means you’re eternal. And I don’t ever want that to change. So with that in mind, I have just one question.”

I reached into my pocket as her
eyes started to quiver. I dropped to one knee, opened the box, and smiled a real smile—not a smirk, not a cocky smile, but a real, genuine, hopeful smile.

  “Will you marry me?”

It took her a few moments and sobs to get the word out, but it was the best word I could have ever heard.

“Yes,” she said. “Yes. I will marry you, Zeke. I’ll be yours forever.”
