“Anything at all from the new guy, from the Big Apple?”

Helene insisted at his brother to resume the trip for her. He could not say no and he loved It when she played the baby sister card. Helene had always had two men in his life. First were his father and Gaston, one for the request and one for complaint. Well, you can guess who she asked. When their father passed away, Gaston took his place and now she had Gaston and Yvon. Gaston played the role of boyfriend better than any men in her life. She was also the chef to command everyone around, except for Naomi who put her a stop the minute she met her. Naomi was the open eye of the band me she did not taste anything cold.

  - Well, one fact was he knew how to dress away from Asia. He was a bit presentable.

  - Thanks, brother, is he coming to work tomorrow?

  Helene questioned him again.

  - If he wants, I do not care.

Alicia had always known Gaston not to favor a stranger, but the resentment beyond her sister was not just envy, it was more. Alicia was a therapist and she red people for a living, except she had no idea why she agreed to support Gaston and he had to be the one in front of her in the church in the happiest day of her life. She could not deduce that one simple theory. Now, there was one more theory. Who might this new guy be? What will happen with his uninvited presence here in Asia? She was clueless and she was excited to see the future of the Grandvue Company with a stranger from nowhere.

Tibor heard the advice of Gaston and diverted everyone with a simple name of Clifford Shepherd. A young man who was looking for a better day for his family and his wife. Tibor did not put many clothes out in the thin closet he found in the room. He did not care. He had a plan and as soon as he got enough money, he was going to bail for a better state. Not bad, he still had a brain. One fact his father seemed to have forgotten before he sent him here. True, he was going to follow her mother notes, but no way he was going to learn his lessons here. He did not have a problem enduring the misery room. One room for sleeping, eating, and cooking while the other one is small enough for one person to bath quickly before the water turned him to ice. However, taking anyone place in the Company was not in his future. He would be dammed to amuse this idea in his father head.

  - Hello old man, can I have a word?

Tibor addressed the old geezer but he pretended not to hear him. Tibor insisted with a few more calls, but he took care of the clients and let Tibor stood tall for a good hour.

  - What do you want?

The young lady plunged over the counter to shut up Tibor, but what he asked next, she had her brows and her eyes widened with the limit of her natural physiology.

  - You need what…a job…Is not you working already or you should start tomorrow…

Tibor saw that his news of disobedience was already known and he had no choice in hiding. So, he presented his case in front of the girl he met for the time and he had been sincere in his whole life. Tibor planned on working to the extent and beyond of his capacity to bring himself independence, so he can leave these people alone. From his first sight, they did not take too kindly to strangers and he did not choose to bother them. So he would be in the girl interest to help him get out of here as faster as he could.

  - You do not intend to stay…

  - Hardly…I do not belong here. You can see that, right.

  He replied with interest.

  - A job…Fine…you start tomorrow after your employment at the Company.

  - Thanks. What is your name

  Tibor finally asked.

  - Carolina and do not call me Nana.

Tibor did hardly hear what she said while he was getting his feet on the stairs to go back to his room. He was a weird one Carolina thought and she balanced out the reason for giving him the job. In truth, the bar needed someone to entertain it and Tibor would do nicely while learning the harshness of life. She sure had learned hers. That was why she was the owner of the unique bar in Asia.

  ***

Asia did not give much to desire. All it had to offer was the element you need, not what you wanted or you could afford. Luxury did not sit well with Asia and the only fun activity after the bar was cleaning mountains of snow among friends while revealing the secrets of others. Asia in Asia caught everyone attention, even Tibor, but being from a country where knowledge was easy to digest. It did not require any focus. Clifford recognized there was being cold in America and being we aren't by the cold in Asia. It was a simple distinction and he did not want to feel the difference in his own body. After the first day of work, he only got to run half day in every sector of the company. He got the bus at the usual market of every worker who had started his current position. His father put him at the bottom and he was the errand boy and letters for the whole factory. Of course, only the Superior head of the Factory received letters, but once and a while, an employer preferred the reliability of the Factory address. Clifford met a few key employees and the three people Wilson confined to evaluate Tibor progress. He planted his boots on the ground and the dirty waters from the melting snow flew in every direction. No one complained because it was not the end of the world for them with all the cold clothes they confiscated over their tight skins. However, Clifford let a sorry escaped and someone managed to hear it. He walked through the door that announced his coming with the annoying ringing tiny bell, he sought the right department for everything he required and pushed a chariot until he got to the cashier. Unfortunately, he was not so lucky to avoid everyone in the store.

  - Who's imbecile did not see the old woman and bathed her with all this dirt? She is my mother and everyone in this area knows her…

The old lady pointed to Clifford who was coming toward the young woman with her mother, complaining about the lack of respect Clifford did not earn to know he should have helped her or seen her. Clifford tried to talk, but she closed his mouth before he could add words. The anguish fury picked up and the lava of remarks built every time Clifford tried to move or to talk. Clifford could only watch the young lady babbled until she lost control and, in an instant, Clifford had his face guided to the right side, a sound rowed in the entire store, and every single person felt it even though at some point, a few viewers did not exactly see the point.

  - You should really respect your elders.

Clifford admired the young woman who seemed irritated. She had no problem with him, but it was not odd that she took it on him since he was new and he would not dare to do anything stupid. Clifford smirked, the young woman got surprised and before she could ache her lips. She received her own dose of hurt.

  - I am not your kid. Do not ever lift your hand in my face again…I will kill you.

Clifford opened his eyes to her and she could only see the glow he expressed without much anything to motivate him to respond the same way she acted in the first place. Some people whispered, others commented, but she could not say a word. She was in an examination to see her own actions were the catalyst that began all that. Some men tried to block Clifford but he was clear in his next words.

  - I answer to no one and no one bothers me unless you feel man enough attack a stranger you know nothing about. Do not push me…

Before the day ended, everyone was aware of the scandal that occurred at the market. Clifford ignored the young woman name, but everyone had seen Alicia grew up in the zone and she was one of the many people everyone looked up and respected. Carolina was her childhood friend until Gaston came between them or his sister Helene did. She was not her friend but she could not ignore Clifford reaction. She questioned him about the event and he did not bother resuming the beginning, the middle, and the end.

  - Is it a thing for you to slap a woman?

  She doubted that was it.

  - No, it is not as long as you keep your hand off me. You would be fine.

Clifford changed the minute he walked through the window door until his first day, she was not sure a man could do all this. She felt her hand shaking and she pulled it behind her curtain.

&
nbsp; - Careful, Gaston won't let slide and you will work for a half tonight. Men do not slap women whoever was wrong.

She pretended to teach him the good manners, but Carolina was sure he had plenty of them. He just did not need them here, in Asia.

  - Keep these things for your kids. As long as everyone leaves me in peace, they won't even know I am here.

Carolina had seen a few change men in her lifetime, but this. She was afraid and she had a good reason. At the same time, she was beyond her imagination thinking about him for nocturnal activities. She had no idea what effect he might do over her sensitive point.

Clifford did not argue much with her and worked the night for half. Of course, Gaston heard the news and before Clifford could rest for tomorrow work. Gaston stormed the bar with a few guys to teach Clifford a lesson.

  - He is not here Gaston…he left a few minutes ago…you might find him at the road end.

Carolina lied while pushing him outta the old Western bar.

  - He better not shows his face at work tomorrow.

  - Gaston, you better keep your girl in check before something worse happened.

Carolina convinced him to leave just before Clifford returned from the kitchen. He brought some of the orders of certain clients who did not pass to breathe the old smell of Western and rotten wood. The next day, Clifford true work began and the enemies joined up with it. The board reprimanded him for his actions out of work and the negative repercussions it might have. Lucky for him, everyone thought he was a nobody and he had to put himself in line, which was contrary to the remark Clifford made in one single day he came into Asia.

  - Keep everyone away from me and you won't have a problem.

Clifford was clear and he left for his second day of work. Wilson did not leave them in charge to call him everytime Tibor tripped, they had to deal with him and he had to learn to play well with others from the first step he took. While the Board was getting ready on how to deal with Clifford, Gaston was waiting for him downstairs for a showdown. The first step down he took, he had his jaws almost unlocked from his cheek. Clifford balanced and tried to keep his posture steady. A few letters fell and the guys were ready to see a good fight in a long while. Gaston served him another good punch, sending Clifford over a table with all kind of tools. Before he returned in front of Gaston for a third strike and one of his own, he picked up a screwdriver and walked right to him for a nice thrust, but Alicia put herself between them in measure to separate the fight. Clifford surprised, turned his hand and Gaston held her. One of the ladies screamed and everyone was on Clifford when they noticed the screwdriver in his hand at Alicia's belly.

  - Gaston, how many times I have to tell you not to provoke people?

Alicia had one hand over her belly and one hand over Gaston's shoulder before she fell to the floor.

  - Are you crazy? She has nothing to do with this.

  Gaston yelled in Clifford direction.

  - That is your problem.

  Clifford repeated to him.

  - Like I said, leave me alone or next time, she won't be there to take the blow for you and I won't miss.

Listening to him, Alicia felt his murderous desire and his desire not to get in trouble. She could not do anything but looking at him, unleashing his frustration on the people who did not want to leave him in peace. That was all he required. A dying sensation ran through her vertebrae column reminding her of her own demon and she held Gaston tight to prevent him from worsening the situation. Clifford, of course, clapped his eyes over the group who held him and they had no choice but to let him go. No one wanted to be in his surrounding and his invisible aura was not a good fortune for anyone.

  - Listen to my words, Leave me alone or next time, you will die.

Gaston had one of the letters and Clifford threw it over Alicia's belly where the white envelope caught a good amount of blood before Gaston picked it up. He could not care less what occurred next and how Alicia was doing. If she was going to die or not, he just had to fulfill his duties and work at the bar where he would continue to earn his money to say adios in a few months.

  - We have a problem…This is not the kid I met years ago when I visited my old friend. I should talk to Wilson…

  - Maybe we should follow him better before we judge. They did just try to trap him in a fight.

  - This was over the extremes.

  - Yeah, a bit. He has not done anything a man would not mark a point.

  - If you say so…

  Chapter 4

The door was closed, the alley of the corridor was empty, the house was empty, and everything was in their place. The living room was intact, the kitchen was clean, the patio had no fallen leaves, and the dining room did not hold any reception anytime soon. Except the bedroom had a few laughs and sensual moaning going in every direction. Live laughs with the imagination of whitening pearls in the teeth place, imaginable caress inevitable in the holy process in the way, throw of a blanket over one another, and short amusing fight with pillows. The Grandvue had their stunning house empty for their own deserting pleasure. Wilson did not get to laugh much. In his wife company, he unleashed the beauty and the amusing sound only his wife did not see brutal during their holy intimate relationship. She took pleasure in making him laughs and teasing him in every way. He liked every minute of it and their kisses, as well as their juvenile caress and their intense skin contact, reached climax every time they joined together. His wife complained that he could not let her stay longer while he complained her rhythm was a pain for him. He could not hold out longer. As old as they were, each other still made one another desired to be a wonder between the blankets. In their last attempt to satisfy one another, Jeannette rode his husband, leaving her back in the beauty allure she had possessed since their first night and Wilson had never fed up to slide his hands up and down her plastic skin. Jeannette liked to the point of craziness, but something did not feel right all of a sudden. The cold reached her skin seems and she could not support it. Wilson was lost in thought and she just noticed.

  - Wilson, Wilson, Wilson honey…

Jeannette pressed Wilson diamond face in her two hands to wake him up. Once, twice, she deduced to use extreme measure. She increased the impact of the hand. A clapping noise resonated from both her hands at each side of Wilson's cheek. He did not move like Jeanette was Medusa and she forgot to close her eyes before she turned him into stone. She raised the stakes and she clapped him for real this time. Wilson jumped and she felt it.

  - Yeah, like that. This is way better.

Wilson smiled and Jeannette looked at him with a hope he trusted her to tell his secret.

  - What's wrong baby? Is everything alright?

  - I am thinking about Tibor. Was he doing right for himself and his entourage?

Wilson caressed his wife left arm from her shoulder to her hand and they closed it together.

  - Were you sure of your actions to teach Tibor of his actions?

Wilson nodded without a doubt and Jeannette touched him this time to place her vivid palm over his face.

  - Then you have nothing to worry about unless he does not learn his lessons.

Wilson explained to his wife this was the part he was worried about. Jeannette tried to make himself reason in her words of comfort. He did not accept them right away. Jeannette left him on the bed to reflect while she went to brush her wavy brown hair. She knew Wilson had the right to worry, but he was right to teach Tibor his lessons. If he did not learn, he would discover the cruelty of life later. One way or another he had to see the errors of his way. She hoped like Wilson. Jeannette did not know the word disobedience in her childhood, teens, and adults. Until now when she wanted to dodge an order or a suggestion from her parents, she involved Wilson and he put his wife first and she agreed without much complaint and disobedience. She was the gold of her family and even with her adoptive parents. They called, she responded; they needed, she helped; they complained, she listened. She was the perfect kid and she knew
how to do it by the time she got older. She did not turn back the minute she discovered the opposite sex desire, but she created her loophole to do all things young people should be aware before they got married. Wilson was aware of all her movement before they got married, but nothing could say for her parents. She had her tragedy and she learned an important lesson. Being a good kid did not mean you were exempt from bad circumstances and it did not mean you were immune to bad influences. She learned it the hard way and she lost her parents to it.

  - What are you doing? Are we done with our session, Ma'am?

Wilson joined her with his alto voice in the spirit to animate her sense again.

  - I do not know you tell me. You were the one who froze.

She passed the towel over her hourglass bottle before Wilson's eyes. He had seen all of it many times, but she still has him chill to the tip of his gray hair.

  - Well, I am guilty. Can't I think of him? I mean I sent him to Asia for God sake.

  - The place may be extreme but he needs this. If I did not agree, I would not let him go and encourage him to find his way.

Jeannette confined in him of his talk with Tibor. Wilson admitted he was wrong sometimes to prevent her from helping with Tibor when he was in his mood. However, after hearing the simple words she mentioned to him before he left, Wilson was proud of his wife meddling. He kissed her and she hugged him. He tried to flicker the desired flame of their bed passion and Jeannette ran to the bathroom while letting go of the towel. Wilson knew what she meant and followed her for another series of good old fashion love.
