Partly inspired by a trip in Italy he took in 2001, (during which he visited the mighty Colosseum), A Gladiator's Dilemma was first published in print in 2010. Most of the research for this fiction was done in Deerfield Elementary School's library, with the bulk of the info coming from the children's book You Wouldn't Want to be a Gladiator.
