In “Among Giants”, a short tale, the warrior faces two giants of a race bred from men and demons, the Nephilim.
In “Nest of Dracogriffons”, a novelette, Vannora ends up straying from her long journey seeking for vengeance to find an egg of a rare creature, considered more dangerous than dragons or the Roc birds. Helping the pup return to his homeland, the warrior finds out the transforming power of friendship in a world scarred by violence. But is it possible for a dracogriffon and a merciless killer to escape the cruel whims of fate?
