The End of the Beginning

Steven Ray is one of the thousands stranded on the space stations when nuclear war breaks out on Earth. But he's different. He's one of the last remainig shuttle pilots. With the no place to land on Earth, he and his fellow crew members are excess baggage on the stations or Moonbase, until one day the unthinkable happens. That's when they are given a second chance.
