CHILD of the HUNT

Sunnydale is agog with the coming of a traveling Renaissance fair. Buffy and her friends are charmed by the human chess matches, jousting contests, and especially by a sad-eyed boy named Roland, who serves as the court jester. Unfortunately, Sunnydale has other visitors as well­the dark faerie­minions of the Wild Hunt and servants of the Erl King. The Slayer's challenge is to annihilate the king and his murderous horde. But, to slay him Buffy first has to do away with Roland, who is not quite human­and destined to become Buffy's adversary.
