Her marriage may be dangerous, but leaving could be fatal.From the AuthorI've had several people ask me if this book is based on a true story. My quick answer is, "Well, no, it's fiction." The longer answer is that I did a lot of research before and during the months I wrote the manuscript. While investigating, I met women who went through similar situations and experienced parallel fates. So, while this is a work of fiction, and isn't based on any one particular person, place, or circumstance, "Sleeping Roses" is inspired by real women.
