Exile on Kalamazoo Street
by Michael Loyd Gray
Bryce Carter was once a promising novelist. After his experimental novel Reflections bombed, he walked away from his teaching job and drowned his sorrows in whiskey. To stop drinking and avoid temptation, he holes up in his house during the long, snowy winter. Meanwhile, the terms of his self-imposed exile make him dependent on his sister and a sitting duck for anyone who cares to drop by.
