"Oi milady, I am not that kind of guy you know? So please, do continue with your little war here. I was just passing by and had stopped, hoping to see some good action." Destrian laughed as his obese cheeks bounced, and he continued,

"But may I inquire about what kingdom you hail from, milady?"

"The Wolfenstein Kingdom. We have a dispute to settle against the Garudia Kingdom. As such, I will repeat this one more time. Do not interfere, or else..." Lucy replied coldly as she grew silent, within the next moment she laughed maniacally. Totally uncharacteristic from her mellow maiden voice. "It seems that you'll find out soon enough if you attempt to cross that line..."

Lucy turned her back as she flew towards the western valley, returning to the side of Feihren.

"It had been taken care of Your Majesty. I do not think that they will interfere with this war... one way or another," Lucy reported to Feihren, whom was calmly observing the movement of the Imperial troops on the sides of the battlefield.

"Then I guess it's time to pick up the pace?" Feihren replied

  ...

The dragon fortress could be seen napping on the side of the battlefield as the people within its fortress were looking outside to witness the war unfolding. They hold a great high ground perspective as they could clearly witness the battle from a great vantage point.

"It would seem like that lady knight isn't to your liking your Imperial Majesty. Perhaps, she was too arrogant?" A burly man standing beside Destrian jokingly inquired.

"Nah, she's the feisty type, and I do not mind adding her to my collection." Destrian replied with a lewd look on his face.

"Oh? Perhaps after this war, we could favorably acquire what you want then, Your Highness." The burly man bowed as he instructed a few formidable people to take advantage after this battle ended.

"Well, it seems that this random 'stroll' had granted me a great abundance," Destrian muttered to himself as a malicious grin appeared on his face.

  ...

Feihren did not change his armor as he paraded towards the battlefield in beautiful white robes. These was no ordinary armored robes, to begin with; This thing was similar in effect to that of the [Hades Armor], only that it does not just boost raw Damage and HP, but actually provides greater resistance, which would make sense considering that this was a large scale battle.

  ...

  [Holy Messiah's Robes] (Deity)

"Effect: Grants 20% Physical Damage Reduction...

"Effect: Grants 20% Magical Damage Reduction ...

"Effect: Grants stackable Magical and Physical resistance for all damage taken of the same type. Increases resistance for every 100 damage taken."

  ...

Even though it does not look like it, this was something akin to the 'tankiest' armor Feihren has, although it was elegant and not bulky looking. Feihren then equipped his favorite Custom-Grade weapon. With Perfect Durability and a good amount of Ammunition prepared, Feihren could take out at least the entirety of the remaining Garudia Kingdom forces, after they were thinned out by the winged beasts.

  'Equip'>>>'[AKM-V] (Feihren Gama Custom grade)'

Although the ammo he had prepared was a bit limited in comparison to the amount of enemies they needed to defeat, with Lucy by his side on the battlefield, he could ensure the victory for the rest of his troops. The ability of a [Supreme General] to easily oversee and fight amidst chaos is an advantage on its own. How much better would it be with the damage reduction passive that Lucy could provide. The few hundred Wolfenstein soldiers were akin to an elite troop amongst all the elite troops.

"Lucy, clean up the imperial troops that are sneaking about. I'll handle the rest of the Garudia soldiers..."

  Chapter 72: Death God

"Oh! It seems that the king of the Wolfenstein Kingdom is planning to get his own hands dirty in this battle? I'm liking this!" Destrian excitedly exclaimed as his normal human eyes suddenly turned into a reptilian-like retina, glaring intently towards the happenings on the battlefield.

"Hmmm... He looks formidable enough. To actually be participating... not bad."

The burly man beside Destrian, who was the highest-ranking general within the New Dragon Empire, commented as his draconic eyes raised a 'brow', "But, he is being too cocky..."

"Eh? How so? It seems plausible by the looks of it hehehe. Sometimes, it's fine to take pride in your own capabilities you know?" Destrian jokingly asked as the general replied.

"He's bringing only a few hundred soldiers from his side and a there are over a hundred thousand enemies. Let alone them having to face the rear army... Haven't you noticed the insignia on those people your Imperial Highness?" the general added as he pointed towards the army behind the Garudia Kingdom.

"If I am not mistaken, this should be some quarrel by the Wolfenstein and our loving neighbor, the Garudia Kingdom? Hmmm... That symbol, Bainzen Empire? Oh... now this became a lot more interesting. It seems that our neighbor had made few friends while we were busy huh." Destrian laughed mockingly. The general intently gazed towards the unmoving figures of those that belonged to the Bainzen Empire.

"I am feeling skeptical about their presence here. They were never the 'helpful' type...'

  ...

Feihren did not immediately rush towards the enemy. Instead, he made sure that the Wolfenstein troops were perfectly aligned on his sides, forming into the shape of an arrowhead. There was no point in pushing and battling into melee when they can...

  *Bang!

A clanking sound pierced through one of the soldier's chest plate. The man looked dumbfounded by the sudden cold sensation that penetrated his chest. Suddenly, a loud thud was heard as the soldier fell lifeless on the ground...

"It would take a while if I do it like this..." Feihren immediately switched the AKM's settings into its 'Full-auto' firing mode, instantly increasing the RDS. He grinned with satisfaction, "Hmmm... How about now?"

Feihren aimed down the barrel towards the Garudia army.

Seeing this, the soldiers of the Garudia Kingdom immediately dispersed to the sides as they charged forth towards the soldiers of the Wolfenstein kingdom that were just standing motionlessly beside their king.

It would be utterly pointless to wait for ranged reinforcements when the enemy king could easily pick them off one by one without them being able to fight. Although they have braced themselves as they powerfully charged towards the enemy...

Seeing the mysterious weapon of the Wolfenstein Kingdom's king, they could not help but shudder in fear. It was something that was totally unknown and mysterious to them, and seeing how that thing could easily kill them, they tried to avoid confronting Feihren as much as they could.

The sound of the AKM going full force resounded throughout the clashing frontlines as the Garudia Kingdoms soldiers charged towards the Wolfenstein Army. One by one the enemy dropped like squatted flies. As each bullet resounded, and the clanking noise appeared from the armor that was pierced through like butter, each body of the enemy that fell would create a blockade to fend off the charging army.

"Well, I guess it's all your turn now."

Feihren casually smiled towards his own troops as he led the charge. It was enough to thin out the numbers and make them get so close to the towers that the Wolfenstein Army had a safety net in case something unexpected happens.

Although heavily outnumbered, the space within the valley narrowed the battle into a reasonable range, allowing the Wolfenstein Army to fight at their best without them worrying too much on being ganged up by multiple enemies.

One of the commanders on the frontlines led a condensed charged on the western side of the Wolfenstein's formation. Because of this, they were successful in pushing back the Wolfenstein troop a little, as Feihren commanded them to fall back.

A grin appeared on the eager commander's face. He believed that it was quantity alone that would bring the downfall of the Wolfenstein army within this war. But in the next instant, a loud zapping noise spread throughout th
e area as the glowing tip of a gigantic tower emitted a powerful beam towards the Garudia soldier who had 'successfully' stepped within its range.

  *Boom!

The bodies of the soldiers turned to dust as they made contact with the beam. A smoldering crater appeared below their feet as the commander hurriedly fell back. He was scared witless as he immediately retreated away from the towers range. But it was a little too late...

Multiple beams zapped towards every enemy that had stepped within the towers effective range.

Although some of them had successfully gained distance and returned to the flanks of their allies, a near miss from the tower still dealt a heavy blow to them. Either their armor was melted as the heated metal painfully congealed on their skin, or the beam randomly fired towards the direction on one of their limbs, painfully burning it off their body.

"Ah... Old chief is as impressive as always..."

Feihren had a satisfied look on his face as he heard a voice within his consciousness,

'Your Majesty, I am done with the Imperial troops that had made their way near us. Should I proceed in attacking the right flank?' Lucy asked Feihren as she proceeded with caution. Not doing anything that was not within the bounds of Feihren's order.

Feihren, seeing that most of the Garudia soldiers were trying to gain quite a distance from the western valley as to avoid the deadly tower's range, grinned as he instructed Lucy.

"Hmmm, could you block in those that are trying to back away? Kill those that are wandering too far away from my location. Isolate the battle towards me."

  "As you wish, Your Majesty."

Drawing out the cold longsword, Lucy burst forth as she started hacking and slashing her way into the backlines of the Garudia Kingdom's troops. Although the spread of the enemy was quite wide, her ability to soar high above them to gain the best vision was akin to a death god picking off ants that dared cross the line.

Feihren then changed into his Titan Armor to join the fray, as he noticed the large chunk of red dots within his [Battlefield Scan] started moving in the opposite direction. The middle sector of the united army started moving further west as the imperial troops moved further to the sides...

  "...Shamelessly... escaping?"

Chapter 73: It's None of your Business

'Hmmm, Your Majesty. It seems that the...' Lucy spoke up as Feihren interrupted her sentence.

'I know...' Feihren sighed as he continued...'Could you hold them off for me? Block their escape route, and pin down the leader. Hmmm... Leaders I mean. It seems that there is someone else leading the Imperial troops...' Feihren keenly stared at the scan as he continued.

'I'll try my best to hurry and be done in here'. Feihren finished up his instructions as he proceeded to leap towards the troop of the Garudia Kingdom.

Squashing most of those troops that have failed to retreat on time, Feihren then led the charge as the hundred or so soldiers of the Wolfenstein army finally reversed the situation. They were now the ones attacking.

Only a few thousand troops were left from Garudia as they were now thinning at a ridiculous rate. Although the 'Death God' on their flanks had suddenly disappeared and had now made a 'path' for them to hastily retreat, the sudden appearance of a gigantic Titan reignited the fear within their hearts as they ran for their lives.

Although Feihren was curious about how strong he would become if he continuously used the Messiah's Robes, it was utterly pointless if the enemies were retreating and not attacking him. Might as well change into the Titan Armor and have a little 'fun' with it.

At the start, the gap between the troop of a hundred versus the troop that amounted to thousands was highly evident, as the Garudia's soldiers were still eagerly resisting against the 'normal' soldiers when the gigantic Titan was far away from the scene of battle.

But as the time dragged on, the individual quality of the Wolfenstein soldiers showed itself as their enemies were getting pushed back, easily being defeated one on five, which was seemingly impossible, yet...

'Supreme General Skill Activate: "Ultimate skill, [Battle cry]'

A loud cry emitted from the Titan as the Wolfenstein troops' power was suddenly boosted.

'Supreme General Skill Activate: "General's Aura"'

The incredible prowess that each of the Wolfenstein soldiers were showing was terrifying beyond words. The one minute of the ultimate skill's duration might be a meager amount of time, but it was enough for a single soldier to kill at least 10 of the enemy with his minimum effort. The Garudia soldiers were also feeling a bit weakened from the terrifying 'aura' that the Titan was emitting.

"Supreme General is still the best class eh." Feihren smiled as he continued the battle.

  ...

"Move out of the way! Move! Move!" Louie yelled as he whipped his horse to move faster. He was rushing away from the western valley, heading his way home towards the Garudia Kingdom.

It was indeed a pathetic move for a 'king'. Although in truth, the one that started all this mess was never the Garudia's king in the first place... It seems that Louie would not care to what end the Garudia Kingdom would meet. As long as he could survive from all this and exact his next plot for revenge, one way or another he was satisfied.

The troops that remained on the frontlines were left for dead as they served as the meat shield and cannon fodder for the rest of the army to survive. It was indeed shameless... Although it seems that there was no other way they could do this than to let those people drag out the fight for them, so they could have enough time to retreat...

The Imperial troops from the Mejuzo Kingdom did not refute the decision. It seems that this would be in their best interest. The fact that the pathetic amount of people retreating were planning to try and hold a huge kingdom as their own was akin to a pig rolling around in spices to make itself smell better.

It would only take a little amount of time and effort for the Bainzen Empire to swallow the Garudia Kingdom after this.

As for the Wolfenstein Kingdom? What could a meager little kingdom do against an established empire? Although they might be the 'strongest' one within the Blaz Continent, the sheer amount of strength that an empire could muster was definitely something that a single kingdom could not hold out against.

"It seems that this king could hold us off by himself, eh? But still, not enough..."

Adrian arrogantly muttered as he tried ignoring the chaotic one-sided battle that was occurring as the Imperial troops started dispersing to the sides to make way for the Garudia Kingdom.

"Hmmm. But just in case, we'll have to retreat as well. It would be pointless to lose the lives of soldiers when we are getting nothing from it..." Adrian commented. Although he was still acting high and mighty, he was trying his hardest to keep his cool.

He had poorly gauged the strength of the enemy, and it seems that the respect the young Emperor Jason has towards this king definitely has a basis. Although he considers himself 'powerful', he was not going to risk his life here just for a mere quarrel between two kingdoms.

"Go follow suit with the retreating soldiers of the Garudia Kingdom. Hurriedly take the tunnel route and return to the Mejuzo Kingdom immediately. If the Emperor starts asking questions to any of you, tell him that it was I who started all this, and will explain everything on my return. I'll have to do something important..." Adrian then finished off his instructions, as he hurriedly rushed to the side of the battlefield.

Traveling by foot or by horse against the rampaging Titan was just waiting for a ticking time bomb. And it seems that Duke Adrian had arrived at the same conclusion... His horse galloped forth in haste as it approached the Dragon Fortress of the New Dragon Empire.

Making eye contact towards the figure of Destrian, an immediate 'mutual' agreement was made. It seems that these two had known each other from way back. Adrian hopped off his horse as he made his way inside the dragon fortress.

"It seems that an old friend was involved in all of this huh... Hahahaha and it se
ems that he bit off more than he could chew this time." Destrian laughed as he gazed the figure of Adrian who was coming towards the doorway of the fortress.

  ...

A dark figure descended in front of the Garudia troops that were evacuating the battlefield. Closing her mighty wings, Lucy inspected the one who was leading the retreating party...

"Oh, it seems that a parasite had made his way to another kingdom... and it seems that you have destroyed it all by yourself? Bravo! Bravo indeed..."

Lucy's gentle voice that was mixed with the coldness of her tone instilled fear in the hearts of those that could hear her.
