Bound for Nirvana

The tears of joy and love trickled down my face, and as the minister spoke his words and we whispered the words, “I do,” I felt completely whole for the first time in my life.

The minister pronounced us husband and wife and the cheers went up, everyone hugging and congratulating us. We celebrated with a champagne picnic on the lawn, and at the end of a perfect day we slipped away, taking the boat out into the middle of the lake and losing ourselves to each other once again.

Our journey had been tumultuous. A wild, blustery storm that had threatened our lives and threatened our love. But we’d come through it stronger than ever, we’d battled our demons and won. Ethan was my Wilde salvation. I was once a broken Angel bound for Hell. But Heaven had sent me a savior and finally I was free. We were bound forever—hearts, bodies, minds, and souls.

Dragging my gaze away from the starlit night, I tilted my chin to find Ethan looking back at me, his eyes a deep and limitless sea of love and endless desire. “What?” I asked quietly into the night.

“I just can’t believe you’re mine, Mrs. Wilde. All mine, every inch of you.”

“Ditto, Mr. Wilde.” I leaned in close, brushing his lips with a kiss, my tongue lapping gently against his. “I love you, E.”

“And I love you, my beautiful, perfect Angel.”

“Perfect?” I giggled dubiously, watching as he nodded, his eyes narrowing as if daring me to challenge him. Instead I shifted, moving to straddle him, my hair cascading down over my bare breasts as I leaned in to tease him with a gentle kiss. “Yes, you’re right. I am perfect—whole, complete, and perfect. And it’s all because of you.”

  The End

  Thank you for reading

  Dear reader,

Little did I know when I sat down at my laptop and tapped in the words Bound for Hell, Chapter 1 that two years later I would be writing The End at the bottom of Bound for Nirvana. That’s because I had no idea if the story in my head would emerge as words on paper that people would actually want to read. That they have and actually enjoyed it is an achievement beyond any I’ve ever dreamed. I’ve learned that there is nothing more satisfying than hearing from readers and discovering how they responded to the story and my characters - those who loved it, those who just want to pass on a simple comment and even those who didn’t like it. So please feel free to contact me at kendraleighwrites@outlook.com or visit me on the web at www.kendraleighauthor.com because I would love to hear from you.

Finally, if you get a moment, I would love it if you could leave a rating and a review. It doesn’t have to be an essay, just a few words will do. As you know, the success of a book relies enormously on book reviews these days because reviews give it visibility. This means that you, the reader, have the power to determine The Bound Trilogy’s fate, so please take a minute to visit my author page on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B00VC52BZ4 where you can find all three books in the series.

  Thank you in advance,

  Kendra Leigh

  Acknowledgements

As always, my first words of gratitude and love go to my husband and daughter whose love and support are not only unconditional but as essential to me as the air that I breathe. Thank you, I love you!

Thank you to Tracey, my true and trusted friend – you are a priceless gem.

Thanks to my wonderful editor Maxann Dobson at Polished Pen for her editing skills and words of praise. You were the first person to set eyes on the finale of Ethan and Angel’s story, and I’ll remember your words and the tears of joy and relief I cried at hearing them for the rest of my days.

Thanks to Deborah at Tugboat Design for my wonderful cover and for formatting.

Huge thanks go to my publicist and very special friend, Paula Radell of Passionate Reads and Promotions. You’re a wonderful, talented person and the indie world is a far brighter, warmer place with you in it! Much love, Paula.

To my fellow group of lovely, likeminded author friends – you know who you are, you keep me sane – IBU rocks!

To those beautiful ladies of the blogger world who have stuck by me from the beginning of my BOUND journey. You are all amazing and deserve a huge bunch of virtual flowers and hugs for everything you do. There are many, but a big fat kiss goes to Katy at Slut Sistas Book Blog, Kerry-Ann at Kez’s Korner, and Jennifer at Two Sassy Chicks … mwah!

A very special mention goes to Maggie Smith for her endless hard work and support. You are one of those extremely rare diamonds and I am very blessed to know you.

To all those readers who have taken a chance on an unknown and embraced Angel and Ethan’s story, growing to love them as I do. I truly hope you enjoy the conclusion to their love story.

  About the Author

Kendra Leigh fell in love with books and the wonderful world of reading from a very young age. She was captivated when Enid Blyton whisked her away to the magical lands at the top of the Faraway Tree with Moon-face and the rest of the gang. Books helped her escape the turbulence of troubled times and were a constant source of comfort during the course of a devastating illness. Kendra's awareness of how reading helped her cope with her illness - and the part it played in her recovery - inspired her to write. She believes that if her books offer only one person a diversion from the life-load they carry – a chance to escape into another world and a chance to breathe – then it will all be worth it.
