Necessary Pursuit (A Trinity Masters Novel)

“Oscar?”
“Yes?”
“Tie Luca to the chair and make him watch while you fuck me.”
Luca had just taken a sip of his drink—they should probably take it away from him before the poor guy got well and truly drunk—and choked on it. He swallowed and then coughed a few times. Oscar went over and patted his back. Once Luca had finished sputtering, Oscar took his drink, set it on the counter, and then wrapped his arm around Luca’s shoulders.
“Is getting tied up going to give you PTSD flashbacks?” Oscar asked him.
“No, I don’t—”
Oscar spun Luca around and forced him down into a kitchen chair.
“Selene, get me the duct tape from the drawer.”
“Which drawer?”
“What do you mean ‘which drawer?’ The drawer.”
Selene rolled her eyes, but started opening drawers until she found the one where he’d sourced the cards and hot sauce packets. There was a roll of duct tape at the back.
Selene brought it over, examining the very sexy tableau. Luca was in the straight-backed chair. Oscar knelt behind it, his arms wrapped around Luca from behind, both holding Luca to the chair and keeping his elbows at his sides.
Selene found the end of the roll and pulled some off, with that distinctive, loud ripping sound unique to duct tape. Both men looked at her, and for a moment, she considered taping both of them to the chair, just as they were. Then she’d sit on the table, spread her legs, and make them watch as she played with herself.
Selene tore off a piece of duct tape and slapped it over Luca’s mouth.
Damn it, she was a supervillain because doing that had felt way too good.
Luca mumbled behind the tape, his eyes wide. Selene unwrapped a long section—grateful this was a fairly new roll, and slapped it across Luca’s chest, then passed the roll to Oscar.
A few passes around his chest and then Oscar tore the tape, patted the end in place, and stepped back.
“Why gag him?” Oscar asked.
“It seemed like a good idea at the time.”
“You’re terrifying.”
“You like it.”
“I do. I never claimed not to be cracked in the head.”
“Are you saying only crazy people would want to fuck me?” Selene asked.
“Like attracts like.”
“Then maybe you’re a supervillain too.”
Luca grumbled from behind the tape, an exasperated sound. They’d wrapped the tape around his upper arms and chest, which meant he had no problem bending his head to meet his raised hand and ripping the tape off his mouth. “Talk less, fuck more.”
Selene let out a delighted laugh, which quickly turned into a yelp of surprise as Oscar spun her around and bent her facedown over the kitchen table. Selene shivered in delight as Oscar hooked a hand into the back of her pants and jerked them, and her panties, down around her thighs.
“You can give orders all you want,” Oscar told Luca. “But you just have to watch while I fuck her.”
Luca’s breathing was heavy. “Get your hands off my wife!”
There was an awkward pause.
“Um, can I do that?” Luca asked quietly. “Pretend?”
“Role play it is,” Oscar declared. “Why the fuck not?” He pinched Selene’s bare ass.
She yelped, and Oscar pinched the other cheek.
“Please don’t spank her,” Luca said.
Selene lifted her head slightly. “I thought you liked bondage, not—”
Smack.
Oscar spanked her ass hard enough that she yelped.
“—S&M,” she finished, panting.
“We’re apparently going to do all the kinks.” Oscar shoved her pants down to her knees. “Now be a good girl, don’t make me get a wooden spoon.”
“Oh yes—I mean no, no, don’t get a wooden spoon,” Luca panted.
Oscar put one hand between her shoulder blades and smacked her ass with the other. It felt good, small stings that turned to pleasant warmth, a warmth that made her pussy, already wet, pulse with need.
Selene lifted up on her elbows, twisting to look at Luca while she spoke to Oscar. “Oh no, please don’t fuck me in front of my husband!”
“I will.” Oscar jerked her up. Her pants and panties fell to the floor. “But first I’m going to make him watch while I play with your tits.
Oscar grabbed the front of her shirt with both hands. He was going to rip it off her. That was so hot.
You don’t have anything else to wear.
Selene elbowed him in the stomach, then as Oscar wheezed, removed her own shirt. “I’m not wearing one of those camo monstrosities in the closet if you ruin my clothes.”
“You get a wooden spoon and punish him,” Luca breathed.
“All in good time, sexy.” Selene winked at him.
Oscar had recovered his breath. He yanked the straps of her bra down her shoulders, using them to trap her arms at her sides.
Then he slid his hands into her bra and twisted her nipples.
“I can’t see,” Luca moaned in distress.
“I know you can’t. She has to tell you what I’m doing.”
Selene licked her lips, arching into Oscar’s hands as he first kneaded her breasts, then pinched her nipples.
“He’s pinching my nipples,” she breathed. “Now he’s rolling them. Sort of twisting them with his fingers. Now he’s pulling—oh God, do that again—pulling them as he twists.”
Luca’s whole body tensed, and the chair groaned as he flexed against the tape.
Oscar turned and once more bent her forward, but this time toward Luca. Selene braced her hands on Luca’s thighs, their noses nearly touching.
Luca wrapped his hands around her wrists, holding her in place. Behind her, she heard the zipper of Oscar’s jeans. Then his hands were on her hips, his cock sliding into her. Selene shivered in pleasure, her eyes closing, at least until Luca sealed his lips over hers. Oscar’s cock filled her from behind, Luca tongue-fucked her mouth, and she knew if they didn’t stop now, they wouldn’t get to all the other delicious perversions on Luca’s list.
The sense that these were stolen moments, that time was running out for them, washed over her. It should have made her want to stop and savor, but instead she felt frantic with the need to connect with them, to have them here and now because there was no surety about what would come next.
No. She knew what was on the way. And she was desperate to hold those hounds at bay.
Selene wiggled her right arm, freeing it from Luca’s hold so she could slide her palm over his erection. Luca tore his mouth from hers, head tipping back. She watched his throat work, watched the tendons flex.
“Can you undo your pants for me?” Selene breathed. “I need to keep one hand braced because of Oscar’s fucking. So deep. So hard.” She said the last not only as a description, but as a plea for more, and Oscar heard it, gave it to her.
Luca’s fingers fumbled, but he managed to get the zipper undone. That was all she needed. Selene nipped Luca’s chin as she reached into his pants and boxers. His cock was seriously huge, and as she pulled it out, she considered the logistics of giving him a blowjob. Maybe it would be better if—
“I’ve never had… No one has ever…”
“For fuck’s sake, suck the man’s dick.” Oscar punctuated the order with a slap to her ass.
Selene jerked forward, the top of her head bumping Luca’s chest.
She dropped down, bracing her forearms on Luca’s thighs, and wrapped her lips around the head of his cock.
There was something so wonderful and powerful about knowing her touch could deeply affect another person. A swipe of her tongue over the tip of Luca’s cock and he started swearing in Italian, the words sexy, even if she didn’t know what they were.
Oscar’s cock thrust in, hard and hot inside her. She swallowed Luca’s cock, taking as much of it as she could into her mouth, which wasn’t much, but she stroked the underside w
ith her tongue as she withdrew.
“I cannot…I am going to…” Luca muttered.
“Come in her mouth,” Oscar commanded. He spanked her again. “And you better swallow it.”
The sexy, arrogant asshole. Selene would make him pay for that. She’d put him on his knees and make him lick her pussy while Luca fucked him and then—
The first ripple of pleasure tightened her sex around Oscar’s cock. She shoved her mouth down on Luca’s dick, and the fullness there, mirroring what was happening at her pussy, ignited her orgasm. Selene swallowed hard around Luca’s dick while thrusting her hips back against Oscar.
Luca was back to shouting in Italian, and a moment later, his salty come hit the back of her tongue. She swallowed, and swallowed again. Behind her, Oscar was cursing, and she felt his cock twitch inside her.
They were joined together in pleasure—Selene was no stranger to that. And if that was all she was experiencing, if she wasn’t also inundated by a million different overpowering needs, hopes, and desires, she wouldn’t be so overwhelmed by this sudden desire to cry.
Selene lay on the kitchen floor, her bra still tangled around her middle. Oscar used a kitchen knife to cut through the tape, then peeled it off Luca’s shirt. He slid off the chair to sit beside her on the floor. They were both still panting. Oscar, like Luca, was still dressed, but he’d tucked his cock inside his pants.
“Do I have to carry you two to bed?”
“Fem Dom doesn’t need a bed,” Selene declared from the floor. “That’s what we’re doing next.”
Luca grinned, a big, goofy, heart-on-his-sleeve grin that Selene adored. “I never thought I would actually get to try the things I fantasized about.”
Selene rubbed his back without moving anything but her arm. “If it’s not what you thought it would be like, that’s totally normal.”
“It’s not.” Luca looked over at her. “It’s better.”
“We’re clearly not doing Fem Dom right now,” Oscar declared. “You two are practically dead on the floor in the chicken kitchen. We need a fucking nap.”
“I’m just lulling you into a false sense of security,” Selene assured him.
Luca snorted and started to laugh.
“But the floor is hard.” Her butt was starting to hurt. “You may pick me up, servant.”
Oscar hooked his hands under her armpits and yanked her to her feet. Selene looped an arm around his neck, ready to be carried like a princess to the bed.
Oscar briskly unlooped her arm, planted his shoulder against her hips, and slung her over his back. Selene yelped as he straightened, his hard shoulder digging into her stomach.
Luca rose to his feet. “The urge to, uh, spank her. You…”
Oscar smacked her ass. “Go for it. Her ass is very spankable.”
Selene shrieked as a wicked slap landed on her ass.
“Too hard?” Luca sounded so worried.
“No,” she breathed. “It hurt in a good way.” Luca’s unexpected dominance, followed by his seemingly endless compassion, just made everything that much hotter.
“My turn—”
Oscar’s words were interrupted by the clucking ring of the chicken phone. They all turned to look at it, Selene bracing her hands against Oscar’s ass.
“Fuck,” Oscar breathed.
“I’ll get it. Back up.” When Oscar had brought her close enough, Selene snatched up the receiver, still slung across Oscar’s back. “Hello?”
“Selene?” It was Preston Kim.
She poked Oscar, and he seemed to get what she wanted. He lowered her to her feet. “Hello, Preston.”
“Lance and I ran the calculations.”
She swallowed, her stomach knotted. “And?”
“The numbers don’t work.”
Selene closed her eyes in sudden, earth-shattering relief. “The bomb doesn’t work.”
Luca sank into a chair, his whole body slumped. Relief…or disappointment?
If these results had come a few days earlier, she would have suspected—worried—it was the latter. But there was no doubt in her mind now that Luca was grateful to know his designs couldn’t be used to snuff out countless innocent lives.
“You’re sure?”
“Yes. We’ve tried several iterations.”
The city-killer bomb wasn’t the horrific thing they’d all feared.
“Did you inform the Grand Master?”
“Yes. They wouldn’t give me this number until I informed them of our results.”
“Thank you, Preston. And please thank Lance for me.”
“I will.”
Selene hung up the phone and turned to look at Oscar and Luca.
Luca raised his head, and he was smiling. “I have never been so happy to be proven a fool.”
“It’s over,” Selene said. “The bomb doesn’t work, so it doesn’t matter who has the plans and—”
“I wish that were true,” Luca said quietly. “But it isn’t over.”
Chapter Eleven
Oscar said, “Right. Uh-huh,” for the third time since answering the phone, and Luca sucked in a deep breath, forcing a fake calmness when the other man turned to look at him.
They’d been awakened at the crack of dawn this morning to the phone ringing, er, clucking. They hadn’t managed to answer it the first time, but when it began clucking again almost instantly, it was clear whoever was calling didn’t intend to stop until one of them answered.
Oscar, dressed in only his boxers, had managed to grab the chicken leg receiver first, and the look on his face had made it clear who was calling.
The Masters’ Admiralty.
Meanwhile, Selene was pacing back and forth across the kitchen floor.
She stopped when Oscar turned to hang up. He continued to face the wall for a moment, his back to them.
“Well,” she said impatiently. “What did Sebastian say?”
Oscar turned to look first at her, then at Luca. “They’re getting us out of here. There’s a helicopter en route as we speak. Should be here within the hour.”
“Helicopter?” Selene said, not bothering to hide her alarm. “But there’s at least a foot and a half of snow on the ground.”
Oscar shrugged, though it was obvious he wasn’t any happier about their so-called approaching rescue. “Sebastian says the pilot is experienced, knows how to safely land and take off in deep snow. We’re supposed to make our way back up to the main road. There’s a clearing half a mile to the north, where the helicopter plans to pick us up. Now that the weather has cleared, Ju—they don’t want to leave us here in case anyone is still looking.”
“Me,” Luca said quietly. “If anyone is looking, they’re looking for me.” Luca had known this was coming. While the past few days had been the greatest of his life, he hadn’t allowed himself to forget it wasn’t going to last.
Regardless, he had hoped for at least another day or two.
“Doesn’t matter who they’re looking for…we’re in this together.” Oscar spoke with such authority, such confidence, that for a moment, Luca could almost imagine they were a team, a unit.
God knew there was nothing he wanted more.
And nothing he could have less.
“We all knew we were living on borrowed time here,” he said, proud—and somewhat shocked—by the strength in his voice. “I will never be able to express to the two of you how much these past few days—”
“Stop.” Selene put her hand up. “Stop right there. We’re not saying our goodbyes right now. This isn’t over yet, Luca. Not by a long shot.”
“As I have said before, tesoro, I have made peace with my decisions. I’m not afraid to die.”
“Whoa. Seriously, dude,” Oscar said loudly. “Enough of that. Selene is right. You’re going to speak to the Tr—Masters’ Admiralty, and you’re going to tell them your side of the story. We’re going to get your sister away from the psycho religious fuckers, figure out what to do with the bomb plans, now that we know it doesn
’t work, and then you’re getting on with your life.”
Luca nodded, offering a weak facsimile of a smile, hoping it was enough to fool his lovers.
Dannazione…his lovers.
If only time could stop…right here…right now.
Selene narrowed her eyes. “He doesn’t believe us,” she said, speaking to Oscar, though her gaze was locked on Luca’s face.
“If there is anything I have learned these past few days, it is to trust you. Both of you. I do believe you will remain with me; however, you cannot predict the actions your society will take, nor would I…” He sighed heavily. “Nor would I allow you to place yourselves in the crosshairs of the Bellator Dei. If I was a good man, I would have left before—”
“Not gonna happen so you can save your breath,” Oscar interjected.
“Oscar—” Luca started.
“Doesn’t matter. This debate—that Tanaka and I are going to win—is going to have to wait until we get back to Boston,” Oscar said, glancing at the clock. “We don’t have long before the chopper arrives and we’re going to need every minute of it to slog through that fucking thigh-deep snow.”
Luca looked around the kitchen with all the crazy chicken stuff and smiled. He would think back on this odd, magical place every day for the rest of his life. A life that was probably only a few days long.
“What about the car?” Selene asked.
“Sebastian said they’d send someone to retrieve it once the roads were passable again. Get the feeling he’s also going to settle up our debts with the owner of this place—replace the window and pay him for the food we ate.”
“Might want to tell him we put a dent in the liquor,” Selene joked.
“I’m glad he will reimburse them,” Luca said. “This place provided us sanctuary. I’m not sure we would have survived outside in the car during this blizzard for so long.”
“I don’t know,” Oscar said. “Seems to me the three of us are pretty good at generating our own heat.”
They all took a few moments to get dressed, Selene looking around as if she was missing something. Then she laughed. “I keep forgetting we broke in here with nothing but the clothes on our backs.”
