Alleluia!” one of the loyal said. Elliott realized what this meant to him, and proposed that day. What must we say anymore? They eventually ended up getting married with a honeymoon to his old house where the stepfamily were the servants, and they had wine to the point where they never knew whether they happily lived ever after or not.
A Fairytale Life
By: Naomi Dornfeld
Jay and Kaylee (his younger sister) lived in Apache, Arizona. To them it was the most boring place to live. They highly envied Aurora and Prince Philip, who lived in lush and beautiful fairytale lands. As they thought about this, an elf appeared. “Hello children!! I am the one sent to take you to fairy tale world!” With no questions answered, the desert seemed to spin around and form into a tornado with Kaylee, Jay and the Dwarf in the middle. They walked forward to find that there was a huge celebration in the small town in front of them. The baby princess had been born.
Both of them had always wanted to see inside a castle, so they found entryways to the ball room. There was a soft whisper flowing through the hall. When they neared the middle, there was a small slender woman with a beautiful red dress with sparkling wings holding a beautiful baby girl. She whispered to the baby, “And now Aurora, for my blessing I will give you-...” She was interrupted by a great earthquake with black thick smoke swirling around the baby. A witch appeared with a wand pointed at the baby.
She smiled wickedly and looked at the King and Queen, “Someone wasn’t invited to the baby shower, and her feeling were hurt.” The king and queen drew back in terror. They knew who she was: she was Maleficent the deadly witch. Kaylee jumped forward.
“Wait! There was a-” She was cut off by the guards as they jumped on her. Jay ran after them.
The angry guards had no compassion, and they snarled at him, “Go away you dog.” Jay continued running. But then all of a sudden the clouds swirled and there was a crack of thunder. Then, all was deathly quiet. The dwarf was standing beside Jay holding his wand. He got right to the point. “Hello, young sir. There has been a lapse in time. The witch gave the curse that Aurora will touch a spindle then die. Now it is 18 years later, you see, and you must find Prince Philip soon... or else!!!” With that he disappeared into thin air. Jay stood and glanced around. Kaylee was nowhere to be seen.
Kaylee raced up the castle steps, for the dwarf had appeared to her also, and she knew that Aurora had pricked her finger on a spindle when she was 18, so it would happen soon. Kaylee stepped into the castle entrance and scurried to the attic staircase and started up the windy stairs. She heard a door shut at the top. She knew that she was too late. She started to race back down the stairs to get outside before the spell fell on her also.
Jay had wandered about the forest for hours, but about this same time had found what he was looking for- Prince Philip. He quickly told him what had happened and asked if he could help him. When they got to the castle, there was already a dense thicket of thorns surrounding the kingdom. Prince Philip stood for a minute, but not for long, as a swirling cloud of blackness came toward him carrying Maleficent. The witch rumbled toward him in her black cloud of ash and smoke.
She bent down to the prince and hissed at him, “What is your business, and why are you here with that awful child who seems to have brought you to me?”
Prince Philip drew back while pulling out his sword. “Maleficent, you won’t get past me. This day shall be your last day!”
Maleficent slithered forward. “Ahh so you think! Hmmm… I think it is vice versa.” With that, she flipped her head and turned into a dreadful beast like a dragon. The prince rushed at her and dove under the fiery breath. When he did so his sword sliced her leg off. The witch roared with pain and fell over. The prince fell back also from the impact. Jay ran over to the prince and grabbed his sword. He ran at the dragon and killed her by stabbing her in the heart. When her blood reached the edge of the thicket of thorns, the thorns one by one shriveled up one by one. Upon reaching the castle gates they became bewildered. Everyone looked like they were dead - all the animals, the people, the guards, everything. Even Kaylee was laying on the ground looking as dead as everyone else. They found the princess was sleeping on a bed of roses
in the attic. Prince Philip immediately fell in love and kissed the princess. After he did, the clouds broke, and the sun came out. Kaylee woke up, along with rest of the kingdom. She looked at Jay and immediately questioned, “Where were you?” Jay answered, “Well… it is a long story. Although as for you, I’m guessing that you were just asleep this whole time… right?”
Kaylee laughed, “Once Aurora pricked her finger, everyone seemed to die before my eyes. Then, the spell came over me and I blacked out also. Last news was that you came here!” As Kaylee finished she looked over to Prince Philip and Princess Aurora who were making wedding preparations.
“I think they will live happily ever after.” With that everything swirled around them and they were back at their home in Arizona. Jay sighed and looked at the now dark sky “Kaylee, I think that I like our life more than fairy tale life.”
Kaylee nodded her head. “I fully agree. Our life is a perfectly perfect fit for us.”
They learned a very important lesson: Don’t ever regret or wish for something else than what was put before you.

The Banana
Long ago there lived a man named Xander. He lived on earth but had no house but lots of food and he liked to travel and hike. Then there was Bob the minion, who was spastic and liked bananas and he was from the minion planet. One day Bob asked Demeter to get food so she took Xander's food and gave it to Bob. Xander started to get hungry so he started constructing a home and searched for food.Over time Xander got hungrier and started eating bark and grass or anything he could get a hold of that was edible. A week paced and he had a little pile of edible plants. Bob realized that Xander was hungry and he was not, so he asked Demeter if he could do anything and she said, “ I can turn one of you or an item into a fruit for Xander other wise go away.”
So Bob got his friend David and gave him to Demeter she asked him what he wanted to be and the only thing he said was “Banana.”
Then the minion was turned into a banana and sent to earth. The next morning Demeter told Xander food has landed near by and he had to find it. Xander took the day sluggishly, trotting, and starving to look for the food but he couldn’t find it> Later when he got home there was a note on his bed, Demeter gave him a small hint and It had said “Dear Xander, Tomorrow you will have a map or guide, Sincerely Demeter”
So he slept so he would be ready for the next day. When Xander awoke Bob was there making a map and Xander freaked but Bob showed the map and said “Banana Food”
To Xander and he started packing for the journey. They had to travel through a chirping forest around two mountains and down a cave. Xander asked around half way there if they were almost there. It was a long perilous journey for xander.Eventually they found it in the cave and what he saw was amazing it was golden , it smelled like heaven and it was soft and squishy like a big stress ball, so as they walk as they brought it home, they thought about what it would taste like. So when he got home and he planted it and Bob sprinkled magic growing dust from demeter and the next day it grew so, Xander ate it and it tasted like life. The next year Xander was the banana king and he had enough bananas to grow them over the world and he was no longer starving. After that Xander lived happily on his plantation and Bob became Demeter’s lovely yellow minion.
