Frost wrapped her up in a hug and squeezed her tight.

I added fifty million points to the tally of why he was an amazing man. He hugged his mom with no care in the world and didn’t worry about who saw it.

“Stop that,” his mom laughed. She pushed Frost back and beamed up at him. “You and your brothers both hugged me like I had been gone for months.”

“Two weeks,” Zig called from behind Frost’s mom.

“Pie almost starved until we found out Indy knows how to cook,” Zag added.

“I think Pie needs to learn how to cook for himself, then, and stop relying so much on his mama and Aunt Meg,” she scolded. She pushed Frost out of the way and nodded to me. “Now, tell me who this is.”

I fought back the urge to hyperventilate and stuck my hand out toward her. “I’m Indiana. Or Indy. Or whatever.” Jesus. I didn’t need to automatically go into all of my nicknames.

“I’m Paige.” Her eyes lit up, and she smiled wide. “I’ve heard about you.”

My eyes bugged out. “Uh, have you?”

How in the hell had Frost’s mom heard about me? Frost and I had basically danced around each other for the past two years, but I didn’t think he would actually tell his mom about me.

“Meg and Cyn mentioned you.” She hitched her thumb toward the bus. “Well, actually, Demon had mentioned you on the phone when he called a couple of days ago, and those two overheard.”

“Oh,” I gulped. I was at a complete loss on where to go from here. What did Meg and Cyn know about me?

Frost sensed my panic set in as my eyes darted back and forth between him and his mom.

He pulled me close and draped his arms over my shoulders. “Indiana and I have known each other for a while, Mom. Things just sort of started happening the past few days. Try not to scare her away.”

“Oh, please,” Paige gasped. “Don’t be scared. I didn’t mean to say that so ominously. All I heard was good things about you. Meg and Cyn were both bugging me to find out if you do classes.”

  I looked left.

  I looked right.

What exactly did Paige think I did?

  “Uh, classes?” I squeaked.

  Paige nodded. “Yes.”

“Mom,” Frost interrupted. “What kind of classes do you want?” Even Frost was a little shocked by his mom wanting some type of class from me.

“Well, pole dancing, of course, Braxton. They said pole dancing is a great workout.”

Zig and Zag groaned loudly, and Frost cringed.

“You just completely ruined pole dancing for me, Mom,” Zig groaned. “I’m never going to be able to look at another pole without thinking about you and aunt Meg…just…uuuuugh,” Zig gagged.

Okay, so she understood what I did.

Was I shocked she was so okay with it that she wanted me to give her lessons on how to pole dance?

  Yup. Yeah. Totally.

Shocked wasn’t a strong enough word to describe the fact that Paige, and also the other ol’ ladies, wanted pole dancing lessons from me.

“Um, well, I’ve never actually taught someone how to…h…” Was I really going to talk about pole dancing with Frost’s mom after only meeting her five minutes ago? I knew it was eventually going to come up in conversation, but I didn’t anticipate it happening this soon. “Dance.”

“Please, no. Do not continue this conversation while I can hear you.” Zig stuck his fingers in his ears and backed away.

Zag lifted his hands in a stop motion and shook his head. “I need to go bleach my brain right now.” He also backed away and headed into the clubhouse.

“Is it really that strange I want to learn pole dancing?” Paige laughed.

Meg walked over and smiled wide at me. “Are we in? Did you sign us up? Where do I sign?” She pulled a pen out of her pocket and clicked it. “Someone is going to have to turn around so I can write on their back.”

“Uh.” I looked at Frost because, for the second time in thirty seconds, I was at a complete loss for words.

“Meg,” Frost laughed. “Indiana doesn’t teach,” he gulped, “pole dancing classes.”

“Well, why the hell not?” Meg insisted. “I’ve heard from everyone how amazing you are on the pole.” Meg reached out and squeezed my arm. “Girl, you need to spread that gift with more than the horny bastards at the club. God knows we don’t want to see any of them on the pole.”

“Oh,” Cyn called. She jogged down the steps of the RV and rushed over to us. “From the look on her face, I have to assume you asked her about the pole classes.” She lowered her voice and leaned toward me. “Meg is going to need just general dancing classes, to begin with.”

“What?” Meg hollered. “I dance like a bee and sting like a butterfly.” She tipped her head to the side. “Or something.”

“All right, Ali,” Frost laughed. “Indiana doesn’t do lessons. Dancing or pole.”

I cleared my throat. “Uh, well, I don’t right now, but I’m sure I could maybe come up with something.”

“You could do weekly classes!” Meg clapped her hands together and squealed. “I bet we could get loads of women around here who want to learn how to shake it properly for their men.”

“Oh! We could convert the old building on the other side of the clubhouse into a dance studio.” Cyn pointed at Meg. “You’re gonna have to clean out all of the shit from the club.”

“Me?” Meg chuckled. “You mean the boys are going to have to clean it out. I’m sure we’re going to need lay hardwood floors. Section off an area in the front for an entryway and then have a locker room area.”

“Frost,” I whispered. “What is going on?”

He leaned down. “This is what everyone has been talking about. Strange things happen when the moms get together. From what I’m following, you’re going to be teaching pole dancing classes to the women of Rockton.”

“Or men,” Cyn chirped. “We are not discriminating at all. If any of you boys want to come shake what us mommas gave ya, then get in line.”

  “Pole Stars!’ Meg called.

“Beauty and the Pole!” Paige shouted.

  “Woman,” King called.

Meg whirled around to face King. “I’ve found my calling! Indiana is going to teach pole dancing classes.”

King quirked his eyebrow. “How is that your calling, babe?”

Meg waved her hand at him and twisted back around. “King is always the practical one. I have to basically paint the vision for him to see it.”

I think Meg was going to have to paint it for me, too. What in the world was going on?

King folded his arms over his chest. “Haven’t seen you in a few days, and that’s all you got to say to me?”

Meg smiled smugly. “Well, you left me in Arizona, so I had to do something with my time.”

Before I could even warn Meg, King stalked the distance between them and hoisted her into his arms.

“You came back sassy as fuck,” he growled.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Isn’t that how you like me?”

“I like you anyway I can get you, woman.” King nodded to us and stalked into the clubhouse.

Meg gave a huge wave. “We’ll talk more in the morning! Pole Stars is going to be huge. HUGE!”

The door slammed shut behind them, and it felt like I had just been on a roller coaster ride that left me with whiplash.

Cyn waved her hand in my face. “There’s that look people get after meeting Meg. It’s like shock and awe all in one.”

Paige laughed. “I remember that look all too well. I sometimes still get it.”

“Paige,” Demon called. “Come get your shit off of this bus so we can get to bed.”

Paige rolled her eyes. “We’ll have to talk more in the morning. Demon seems to be in one of his moods.”

Cyn winked at me. “I gotta go meet my future daughter-in-law. Hero decided to fall in love as soon as I left the state. It’s like he kne
w I would be all up in his business or something.”

“That’s why you should have had more than one,” Paige advised. “I knew if I only had the twins, I would be a helicopter mom.”

“You were a helicopter mom,” Cyn cackled. “I think it was you who glued stickers and shit to their snacks to make them more fun.”

Paige shook her head. “I was only like that ‘til Braxton was two.”

“Yeah, because by that time Zig and Zag were four and drove you insane. You just gave up and let us do whatever we wanted.”

“And you turned out so horrible, Brax,” Paige drawled.

  “Paige!” Demon called again.

“Oh, for Pete’s sake. I’m the one who has been on the road since yesterday morning, not your dad. You would think he would be in a better mood,” she grumbled.

Cyn wove her arm through Paige’s and tugged her back toward the bus. “We better help before Demon sees the bathroom.”

  “Oh, yeah,” Paige gasped.

They took off for the RV just as Demon shouted Paige’s name again.

I looked up at Frost. “I…I don’t even know what to say.”

Frost smiled down at me. “You’ll get used to the chaos. Things were pretty boring without the whole club being around. You’re in for a real treat now.”

I gulped and wondered if it was too late to run for the hills.

It seemed within the matter of fifteen minutes, I was going to teach Frost’s mom how to pole dance, and while I was at it, teach the whole town.

  “I think I need a drink.”

  Chapter Eleven

  Frost

“Today is three days, Frost. Why haven’t we heard anything yet?”

I scrubbed my had down my face and yawned. “Probably because it’s only seven-thirty in the morning, Indiana. Pretty sure mobsters and bad guys sleep in.”

She pinched my side and twisted. “But obviously not bikers.”

  “Ouch, woman,” I grunted.

Last night, Indiana and I were headed into the clubhouse to leave the emptying of the RV to Cyn and Paige, but we weren’t quick enough to make our escape.

Greta grabbed Indiana and pulled her onto the RV while I worked on getting all of the luggage out from the lower compartments.

How eighteen suitcases managed to fit in and under that RV was a fucking mystery I would never understand. Then it took another hour to sort out whose suitcase belonged to who, which was made even more difficult when Cyn explained that Marley and Meg had the same luggage. The only way to sort them was to open each fucking one.

By the time we fell into bed, we were both so exhausted, and Indiana didn’t put up a fuss when I told her she was sleeping in my bed.

“I dreamed about suitcases,” Indiana whispered. “You and I opened one, and inside was another one. And then another one.” She sighed. “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at another suitcase again. I have PTSD.”

I chuckled and pulled her to my side. “You didn’t really get a grace period before all the craziness started, did you?”

She shook her head. “I mean, I was warned and heard so many stories that I thought I knew what was about to happen.”

I smoothed her hair from her face. “Nothing can prepare you enough for what the Devil’s Knights ol’ ladies are.”

She nodded. “I have to say, that is completely accurate. You guys should have a handbook or something.”

“That is not a bad idea, darlin’.”

She sighed and pushed up to press a kiss to my lips.

“Now that’s how we need to start the morning,” I groaned. I pulled her on top of me, and she straddled my hips.

“Are we going to pick up where we left off last night?” she whispered.

I nodded. “The door is locked, and there isn’t a chance in hell anyone in this place is awake yet. You’re all mine, Indiana.”

I didn’t even get the yes out of my mouth before his lips were on me and his hands pulled up the back of my shirt. His fingers made quick work of my bra, and then both my shirt and bra were up and over my head.

“You’re too good at that,” I whispered against his lips.

“Been waiting two fucking years for this moment. I’m not gonna waste a second fumbling with your clothes.”

I appreciated that. I only wished I could have been as smooth as he was. I trailed my hands down between us and found the button on his jeans. I tried to push it through the hole to pop it open, but my fingers couldn’t figure out which way to push or pull.

“This is your fault,” I grumbled.

Frost pressed a kiss to my neck. “My fault?” he laughed.

“Yes,” I grunted. “I can’t concentrate when you’re kissing me.” My fingers fumbled with the button, and I seriously considered finding scissors and just cutting them off him.

“You want me to stop? You’re down there like the damn thing is a Rubik’s cube.”

“You stop, and I’ll knee you in the nuts. I just need to…just…”

“Darlin’, by the time you get my pants undone, I’m gonna come in my pants from you rubbing up against my dick.”

I rolled my eyes. “As if.”

“Remember how it’s been a while since you’ve done this? Same goes for me. I’m a bottle rocket ready to go off any second if you’re not careful.”

My hands froze, and my eyes connected with his. “Maybe you should open your pants.” I was all for Frost coming, but I would like to be a participant in the process. I sat back, and Frost made quick work of the button. “Showoff,” I grumbled.

“You’ll just have to keep practicing,” he chuckled.

I leaned over him and pressed a kiss to his lips. “I’m all for practicing.” I slid my hand between us, under his pants, and cupped his dick. “Lots of practice.”

Frost wrapped his arms around me and swiftly rolled us over, so he was on top. “I got some work to do before we get to that step, darlin’.”

I bucked my hips. “I’m more than ready.”

He pushed my hand away from his dick and grabbed my waistband. “I’ll be the judge of that.” He tugged my pants over my ass and down my legs. I spread my legs open, and he kneeled between them. “Been needing to know what you taste like, Indiana. Dreaming about it,” he growled.

Goosebumps danced over my body, and I bucked my hips. “Then I guess it’s time you found out.”

Insane pounding sounded on the door, and the handle wiggled. “Frost! Open the fuck up!”

I jackknifed off the bed, and Frost reared back from me.

“What the hell is wrong, Zig?” Frost shouted.

Good thing Frost could tell who was at the door because I had no clue who it was.

“Open the damn door,” Zig demanded.

Frost jumped off the bed and tossed the covers over me. “I’m coming, asshole,” he called as he zipped up his pants.

I flopped back on the bed and pulled the covers to my chin.

Frost whipped open the door. All I could see was Frost’s bare back covered in one big-ass tattoo.

“What in the hell are you banging on my door for?” Frost demanded.

“Is Indy in here?” he panted.

Frost stepped to the side and splayed his arm out toward me. “Been here all night, cockblocker.”

“Good. Now tell me Pam is in the closet, and we can cancel the search of the clubhouse.” Zig walked into the room and threw open the closet door.

“What the fuck are you talking about? Pam isn’t in the fucking closet,” Frost roared.

“Well, then she’s fucking gone, and no one knows where the hell she is, Frost.” Zig stormed out of the room and left the door open.

Frost ran his fingers through his hair. “Son of a bitch,” he shouted.

  It was happening again.

An uneasy feeling settled in my stomach.

  “Frost,” I called.

  “Get dressed, darlin’.”r />
“It can’t be…” I didn’t want to even think it, let alone say it out loud.

He pulled open the dresser drawer and grabbed a shirt. “I don’t know what is going on, Indiana, but we need to get dressed and start looking for Pam.”

I scooted to the edge of the bed and blindly reached around until I grabbed my bra and shirt. I quickly wrestled on my bra and pulled my shirt over my head.

I had my pants on, and my hair tossed into a messing bun as Frost shoved his feet into his boots.

“Church now!” King shouted from somewhere in the clubhouse. “Every single person in this place, church in the fucking common room!”

Frost grabbed my hand, and I shoved my feet into my shoes. “This isn’t good, Frost,” I whispered.

He leaned down and pressed a kiss to my lips. “Whatever it is, darlin’, you’re safe.”

  But was Pam?

  Chapter Twelve

  Frost

King slammed the gavel on the table. “Everyone shut the fuck up!”

Zig and Zag had moved the tables together, and King stood in front of them with the gavel in his hand.

Club members sat at the table in front of him while the ol’ ladies took up another table, and the club girls filled the rest.

“The only person missing is Pam, right?” King asked.

Hero nodded. “Everyone is accounted for, but Pam.”

Julie sobbed in the back of the room. “I didn’t even…know she…wasn’t there.” One of the other girls tried to console her, but she was pretty torn up.

My gaze went to Indiana whose eyes were closed, and Greta sat next to her. I knew she was beating herself up for not going back to her room last night, but for all we know, if she had, she would be missing right now.

Luna came tearing into the clubhouse with Detective Ransom on her heels.

“Luna, thank God,” Marley called. “Why didn’t you answer your phone when I called?” she demanded.

Troy shot up from the table and wrapped Luna in a hug.

His daughter hugged him back. “Sorry. King knew I was safe. I spent the night at my apartment.”

Troy whispered something to Luna, and she nodded. “I’m sorry.”
