Unspoken Vows (The Unspoken Love Series)

“It’s okay, it’s a rental.”
I laugh again. “I hope they can get the stains out.”
“I don’t give a shit about this shirt, Camryn. I only care about you knowing that I will always be here for you. I may not have the leading role anymore, but we will always have each other.”
After dinner, the DJ announces Morgan’s name. She stands nervously and wipes her hands on the napkin laying on the table.
She clears her throat. “First of all, congratulations to the bride and groom, Camryn and Jamie! You are glowing today. I’ve never seen you look more beautiful than you do today.
“For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Morgan. Camryn is my sister, well… not biologically, that is. The two of us have been best friends since my parents moved on the same block as the Townsends when I was five years old.”
She speaks so eloquently.
She licks her lips. “As you can imagine, knowing these two for almost twenty years has allowed me the opportunity to watch them both grow, and evolve into adults. After all these years, one thing that has never changed is Camryn’s giving spirit and Jamie’s devotion to Camryn.”
Morgan clears her throat again and stands there quietly staring at Lincoln. He bows his head and murmurs something in Christian’s ear.
Morgan continues. “When I look back on our childhood escapades, there are so many warm memories. My memories not only include Camryn, but they include Jamie, as well.
“I know Camryn will fill the marriage with love, respect, and trust. The two of you have been inseparable since birth. You’ve learned to crawl, walk, and talk together. There hasn’t been a milestone that the two of you haven’t completed while being by each other’s side. Since the two of you finally decided to face your fears, and risk your friendship for a love that only the two of you have, Camryn’s life has transformed from good to great.”
Morgan picks up her napkin from the table and dabs her cheek.
“Jamie, please promise to love her always, and keep every promise you make. I wish for your happiness to continue to grow by wanting each other more and more with each passing day. Everyone, would you please raise your glass to toast the bride and groom. To Jamie and Camryn.”
Everyone rises, raising their glass in the air. Tears run down my face. I wipe them with my napkin. I raise my glass to my lips, and take a sip. I set my flute down, and walk over to Morgan, and pull her in for a hug.
“That was beautiful. Thank you.”
“You deserve this. You found the man of your dreams. Love him. Love him hard and never let go.”
Today I married my best friend. We professed our vows to one another, and they were spoken aloud. All of our family and closest friends heard me promise “I do” to my handsome husband.
We vowed to love each other now and forever. To live happily ever after because vows are never meant to be broken...even Unspoken Vows.

I take my mom’s hand and walk to the center of the dance floor and pull her close to me. The two of us begin to dance to “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw.
“I couldn’t have picked a more perfect song,” my mom says with unshed tears in her eyes.
“I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect mother. Thank you for always being there. For raising me to be the man I am today. For showing me what love is.”
Tears begin to cascade down my mother’s cheeks. Her hand cups my cheeks as she repeats the words to the song. “Always stay humble and kind.”
The song’s opening line. “You know there's a light that glows by the front door. Don't forget the key's under the mat.”
The words to the song hit home. The fact that you know you can always come home, that is a blessing that some people don’t have. Remember where you’re from no matter what happens in this life.
“Camryn is my home,” I whisper to my mom.
My mom lifts her hand to my cheek. “I know she is. Your family, including Camryn, will always be your home and light you can turn to in dark times.”
I lean my cheek into my mom’s palm. “Camryn has always been your light, your home.”
We continue to dance, I hold my mom close. She lays her head on my chest as we sway to the music, holding each other tightly.
When the song ends, we separate and she smiles up at me. “I love you, Jamie. You make me proud. You are my best accomplishment in life.”
Leaning down, I kiss her forehead. “I love you too, Ma.”
I extend my elbow out to my mom and usher her back to her seat. I walk over to where the band is set up and take the microphone in my hand.
“Can I have your attention, please?”
Camryn turns around from talking with her parents and watches me, unsure what’s going on because this is something she didn’t know about.
“Camryn planned our entire wedding. When you look around, and take in the ambiance of how stunning this room is, this is Camryn’s vision. She never complained of how stressful planning all this was. I took a step back and agreed with everything she wanted to ensure today would be perfect, and I couldn’t have made it better if I did all this myself.”
My eyes meet Camryn’s as she stands there in shock with her hand over her heart. She mouths ‘thank you,’ and lifts her fingers to her lips.
“I have a little surprise for you. Can you come sit here?” I point to the chair that Christian places in the middle of the dance floor. He walks over to where Camryn is standing, taking her hand in his, and guides her to the chair.
“This is for you. I love you, you are my everything.”
The guys from my band climb to the stage behind me and take their places. The stage is completely black with the exception of a light that shines on me and another light shining on my beautiful bride. As Camryn sits there, she looks like an angel with the way the lights embrace her. She is my angel. Sent from God, specifically for me. Camryn sits completely still on the chair, her eyes locked on me.
Parker starts with a few simple chords on his guitar. His fingers strum the guitar strings effortlessly.
I nod my head to the beat and the lyrics of the song leave my lips slowly. This song conveys everything I feel for Camryn. I’ve been working on this song for weeks. It’s called Born to Love You…it is the perfect way to describe what Camryn means to me.
My gaze is steady, never looking away from her as I sing the lyrics that speak volumes.
From the beginning, you held the keys to my heart
There is no doubt that it has always been you
I knew it was always you
From the beginning, you stole my heart
From the moment, I was old enough to realize what love was
You've always been the one
The one who was always by my side
When I close my eyes, you're all I can see
You are the best thing that ever happened to me
When I see you, I'm looking at my other half
You are the light into my soul
You are my purpose
You are my everything
You'll always be the one
I was born to love you
I’m going to be your forever
You're going to be my wife
I can't stand to dream without you
I can't stand to live without you
You went off to college
Everything changed
From the beginning, you held the keys to my heart
My heart ached when we were apart
I spent my days missing you
Spent days wishing I was kissing you
When you came home
I hoped you had the same feelings for me
We decided to risk it all in the name of love
Fingers crossed that it would work out
The moment I love you left your lips
I planned to go down on one knee
Ask you to marry me
Ask you to be mine forever
I will always
love you
I was born to love you
You're all I need
You will always be mine
Always be my forever
Because I was born to love you
Today you agreed to marry me
So, baby, thank you for saying yes to me
You’ve had my heart from the beginning
I will always love you
I was born to love you
Jamie
Camryn's eyes gleam with tears. I reach the chorus, and I sing every word with power. A few tears trickle down her cheeks. I love this woman with every fiber in my body.
Mid song, I place the microphone back in the stand. I hop down from the stage and make my way over to my beautiful bride. I extend my hand to her, “Can I have this dance, Mrs. Banks?”
She nods and I pull her up and into my arms, holding her tightly against my chest. Parker continues singing the song, while I sing the words softly into Camryn’s ear. “I will always love you. I was born to love you. You’re all I need.”
Slowly my hands move downward, skimming her back. Goosebumps. My lips sear a path down her neck to her shoulder. I nip her shoulder, biting it softly. Camryn gasps, her body shivers against my chest.
She draws my face to hers in a renewed embrace. “I was born to love you. You are my forever.”
I kiss the tip of her nose, then her eyes, and finally, I satisfyingly kiss her soft, warm mouth.
Camryn peppers my lips with a series of slow, shivery kisses. “I love you, Mr. Banks.”
I look in the eyes of the woman who holds my heart in her hand. Our faces are inches apart, then centimeters, then millimeters, and then we are kissing again. The kiss is slow at first. The touch of her lips on mine sends a shock wave through my entire body.
Camryn pulls back and places her hand on the side of my face. Shivers of delight follow her touch. My skin is on fire. She ignites a flame in my soul. I know the meaning of love because of this woman.
“This is perfect. I had no idea you had this planned.”
My mom told me a few years back that someday someone will walk into my life and make me realize why it never worked out with anyone else. I knew it all along. They weren’t Camryn. She is the reason I look forward to the next day.
I lean down and kiss the tip of her nose. “That was my plan. I like surprising you, even though you hate them.”
“I love you,” she whispers against my lips, claiming them again.
“I’m glad you do, because you’re the love of my life, Tink.”
I pull Camryn against my chest and sing the remainder of the song to her. Her body melts into mine, my world is filled with her. The last line of the song spills from my lips, “I was born to love you.”
Camryn and I are sitting at the table watching our friends and family enjoy themselves. I slide an envelope on the table to my wife.
“What’s this?” she asks curiously.
“Open it.”
Camryn slides her fingers in the seal. She pulls out the contents of the envelope.
Her mouth falls open when she realizes what it is. The heavy lashes that shadow her cheeks fly up.
A soft gasp escapes her. Camryn shakes her head back and forth. “No, tell me this isn’t real.”
She merely stares, tongue-tied.
“No, it’s real, babe.”
She holds the picture up and turns it over. The picture is of the house that we put a bid on in Berkeley Heights. The one that Camryn and I fell in love with a few weeks back. There is a SOLD sign on the front lawn. On the back of the photo, I wrote “Welcome Home, Wife.”
“What? How did you do this?” she asks.
“I got a call the other day from our agent. The offer the other couple put in fell through. If we were still interested, the house was ours. The builder accepted our offer.”
She draws my face to hers as her lips meet mine with a soft kiss.
“If I did anything right in life, it was loving you,” she whispers against my lips.
Camryn
The sound of my alarm clock stirs me from sleep a little earlier than I’d like. We got in from the airport late last night and my body is not ready to wake up. After soaking up the sun and making love to my husband every chance I got, I am thoroughly exhausted from our honeymoon in St. Lucia.
I hear a groan next to me, then an arm reaches around my waist and pulls me closer. Light kisses press against the back of my neck. My body is instantly wide awake, feeling Jamie’s muscular chest pressed against my back. Slowly, his right-hand skims my navel. Instinctively, my body arches toward him. His hand explores my bare skin. I moan softly as he continues to caress my body. The mere touch of his hand sends a shiver through me. My body is on fire… aching to be touched.
I can feel his uneven breathing, Jamie’s affected by this just as I am. Gently he eases me on my back and his hard body is atop mine as he places a series of slow, shivery kisses on my lips, along my jawline, my neck. Jamie works his way back to my mouth where his lips are warm and sweet on mine. Our eyes lock and our breaths come in unison. My cheeks redden under the heat of his gaze.
“Do you know how beautiful you are?” he asks.
Jamie kisses the tip of my nose, then my eyes, and, finally he satisfyingly kisses my lips again. I could stay in bed with him all day and do this. My body is calling for Jamie and I don’t want it to stop here. My legs instinctively wrapping around his waist.
My lips press against his, then gently cover his mouth, deepening the kiss. He groans against my lips as I shift and rub myself against his erection. He lifts his hips grinding against me. An almost whisper-like moan escapes me. My hands slide up his neck, into his hair. His touch sends a shock wave through my entire body. His hands finding their way to my hips, holding me steady, fingers grazing incendiary skin.
I kiss him, linger, and savor every moment. Shivers of delight follow his touch. He moves his mouth over mine, devouring its softness.
His gaze travels over my face and searches my eyes. “Do you know how much I want you?”
“I’m pretty sure I have an idea,” I say, jokingly, grinding my core against his hardened cock.
I gasp in delight feeling his erection.
Gradually, inch by inch, Jamie presses himself inside of me. I inhale sharply as my body adjusts to him.
“Ah, baby, you’re so tight.” His cheek brushes along mine.
Slowly he pulls out of me, then enters me again. With each thrust of his hips, he gets deeper inside of me. My hands work their way to his ass, wanting to feel all of him. He withdraws again, and I wonder if he wants to prolong this. But I don’t think I’m capable.
“You’re mine, Cami, you always have been.”
With each thrust, my hips instinctively arch toward his. Jamie leans back, lifting my leg over his shoulder so he can drive harder, faster.
Waves of ecstasy throb through me. White spots explode behind my closed lids.
“Look at me, Camryn,” Jamie growls. “I want you to see who makes you scream, who does this to you.”
My eyes open, his steady gaze rivets over my face, then moves over my body slowly.
A tremor inside me heats my thighs and groin. Passion radiates from the soft core of my body.
I claw at his back. He shifts his body so he can get a better angle—hitting that perfect spot I love. My hands grip his ass, squeezing it tightly with my fingernails. “Jamie…” I say when my climax hits hard.
He leans his body over mine, thrusts his hips harder, filling me. “I can’t get enough of you,” he says in between each thrust.
I pant his name, in between breaths.
“I want you to come again,” he says as he pushes into me. He knows I’m close, my pussy pulsing each time with his thrusts.
My body slowly tenses beneath Jamie’s and then I feel my second release, this one more intense than the first.
My muscles clamp down around Jamie’s cock, pulsing. “Jamie, don’t stop. Harder. Just like that
, babe.” I pant. My body convulses with another orgasm.
Jamie growls, “My dick is going to explode. Babe, I’m gonna come.” He empties his seed inside of me and I take in every drop. Jamie pulls out and rolls to his back.
“Damn, how is this even better as husband and wife?” he says and kisses my temple.
I snuggle against him as our legs intertwine. Jamie unlocked my heart and soul. Every day I fall in love with him more. Jamie leans over taking my right breast in his mouth, bringing my pink tips to crested peaks. He’s semi-hard already grinding his aroused cock into my leg for round two.
My pulse quickens from his sucking on my breast. I cry out for release. My hands moving to his hair, holding his face against my breast, not wanting him to stop.
“I’m ready if you are,” he says before sucking my nipple hard and biting it between his teeth.
“Jamie. Stop. Do you hear that?” I ask.
“The only thing I hear, baby, are your moans of pleasure,” Jamie whispers before sucking my nipple between his teeth.
I swat Jamie’s chest. Quickly, I slide out from beneath him, pulling the sheet up over my breasts. “Shh. I think someone is in the apartment.”
Jamie grabs a pair of shorts from the floor, dressing quickly. “Stay here. Let me check it out.”
Before Jamie gets to our bedroom door, we both hear. “Hey, I’m hungry, do you have any food in this place.” I groan. “What the hell is my brother doing here and how did he get in?”
I pull the pillow over my face and scream.
Jamie simply laughs. I toss the pillow to the side and glare at my husband. He points to the door. “That out there is your brother.”
My finger points at the same door, “That out there is your best friend.”
“Sorry, babe, brother trumps best friend.”
“The better question is, why does he have a key to our place?” I ask.
“He’s had a key to my place since I moved in. I never thought to ask for it back when we got married,” Jamie says and shrugs his shoulders.
