  ‘’john I love you’’ she sighs

  Dimitri growls and moves off her noticing that her eyes aren’t even open he realises she must have just been reacting sub concisely thinking that he was that mortal boy.

  ‘’you will never say his name again when you are conscious you will be using my name begging me to give you pleasure’’.

  Dimitri lays his hand on her heart and the other on her head as he bring his power forward

  ‘’forgive me this is going to hurt my love but I must heal you now all at once’’

  He kisses her head quickly looks at her face as he brings all off his power to the surface drawing power from his people as well, the room is now completely dark with all the power he is drawing out from his people he presses his hands down hand on her heart and head and lets it all flow through him in to her for a moment Isabel opens her eyes, her blue sparkling eyes looking at him in confusion before they fill with pain, a scream tears out of her mouth a sound of pure agony he can barely take it. When blissfully a minute lately she blacks out.

  Finally, after ten minutes the room is back to being light

  ‘’it is done my love you are healed and now you must start a new destiny’’ his voice coming out weak as exhaustion takes over him he has just enough time to gather her to him before his eyes close and everything goes black.

  Meanwhile at the pure good kingdom they have just received word about the chosen one and all the people are out raged. Everyone is shouting at the same time, Prince Kyle is trying to keep order but it is no use his people believe this is the end and all they have worked for has been lost.

  ‘’please you must all listen to me there is still time he has not married her yet we can save her’’ Kyle shouts over the voices of his people

  ‘’it is no use all is lost’’

  ‘’how could the dark prince break the rules set so long ago’’

  ‘’darkness will now rule the world’’

  ‘’ we cannot possible defeat them now not with the chosen one by their side’’

  Kyle's people shouts were getting louder letting their fears rise.

  ‘’SILENCE’’ Kyle shouts as his voice fills the room his people stop shouting to look at him when all is silent once more prince Kyle steps forward.

  ‘’we still have time my people before our soldier’s communications were cut off he said she needed to be healed, once she has been, then the marriage will commence we have time to assemble the soldiers were are going to the dark kingdom to retrieve her hopefully she knows about her powers and will be able to help us once she knows were are good and only want her save. I made a vow we would never interfere in her life until she is of age but now we have no choice assemble the warriors we must attack the dark kingdom now.’’

  ‘’at once your highness we will not fail there is too much at stake to lose.’’ Mark said his expression darkening thinking about the battle ahead.

  ‘’We will meet back here in the throne in one-hour time is running sort hurry my people.’’ Kyle turned and walked out of the room while his people were getting ready for the battle ahead he reached his chamber and let his worries come forward.

  ‘’what am I to do if we lose the whole world will pay for this not just mine, how could I not see what Dimitri was doing how stupid could I have been. He now has my little sister in his possession’’.

  ‘’DAMIT’’ he screamed as he let out a bolt of lightning that exploded into the lamp on the side, Kyle sighs and sits on the couch his head resting on in hands.

  ‘’she is but a child and I have let her down I should never have underestimated Dimitri god knows what she has been through he could not have just found her so quickly he must have known who she is for a while. I must not fail she needs me’’.

  As Kyle was pacing round the room his thoughts all mixed together thinking of what he could do for her?

  ‘’the funny thing is I have loved her all my life even though I have never met her, she is classed as my family, a sister, when my father and mother told me years ago about who the chosen one really is I fell in love then knowing I must protect her at all cost and now I have failed my own sister she is the same as me I cannot fail her again’’.

  ‘’That’s it ‘’ Kyle shouts

  ‘’why did I not think of this before her soul is my sister, a family member, maybe I can reach her in her subconscious if I’m able to then my feeling are correct and she is indeed my sister just not by having the same blood’’.

  Kyle walks to his bed and lies down breathing in deeply through his nose and slowly through his mouth as he relaxes his mind clearing all of his thoughts just thinking purely of the girl he counts as being family the world around Kyle vanishes, going into complete darkness until final he sees himself in a forest normally Kyle loves being around nature but not her the forest seems dead of life. All the tree’s rotting and full of mould, the ground beneath his feet dead of all life even the air around him seemed to full of darkness no light or life. As he wondered through the forest wondering why his mind had brought him hear his powers had never let him down before but it seemed on this occasion it had, as he turned round the corner of the trees Kyle decided to give in and return back to his world, when he spotted a hint of green, he walks towards it he realises a small section of the forest is pure green, full of life and beauty. The breath in his lungs catching at the sight of it, he touches the tress and senses that someone has healed them given them a life force, he walks through a smile lighting his face at the sight when he sees a figure in front of him. She has long brown hair that shines so bright, a beautiful white gown which makes her look so graceful even from the back.

  ‘’hello are you ok’’ Kyle asks with hope in his voice that she is the one

  The figure slowly turns round to face Kyle. Kyle looks at her in shock such deep blue eyes it’s like looking in the ocean, her mouth thin but full at the same time, her face so pale but so beautiful.

  ‘’Who are you’’ Isabel asks her voice coming out as barely a whisper

  ‘’my name is Kyle I am looking for someone and I think you might be her’’

  Isabel laughs without humour ‘’really and what is this girls name that you are looking for’’ I ask tilting my head to look at him. He looks so familiar for some reason.

  ‘’my sources tell me her name is Isabel she is very special I must find her before it is too late, someone evil has her and I must get to her before it is too late to stop the darkness.’’ Kyle’s looks at Isabel all his worry and doubt showing in his eyes.

  As Isabel looks at the man called Kyle she wonders what he really wants. I mean most of my life someone has wanted something from me why am I so god dam special that people want me no matter what the cost. But there is something different about this guy he looks good and I don’t mean a description of him I mean can see the kindness in his eyes and funny enough they are the same colour as mine, he has dark brown hair short but wavy at the same time, well-built you can tell by looking at him he has a muscular body. As I look him over I realise that I’m just staring at his body and look away from him in embarrassment. For some reason I feel deep down that I know him, that I should be remembering something, but all I feel is despair this place so full of death I don’t even know how long I have been here just that it has something to do with Dimitri but for some reason I can’t remember I’m stuck one thing I do know the longer I am in this strange dream world the more I can’t remember certain things.

  ‘’what makes you think that you can help her doesn’t sound good to me, and how did you get here’’.

  ‘’ I am Prince Kyle of the pure good kingdom and’’

  ‘’wait’’ Isabel shouts interrupting him

  ‘’what do you mean pure good kingdom’’ I ask in shock

  Kyle smile softly at the girl ‘’ it is a long story and I don’t have much time I need to find Isabel to save her, she is in terrible danger I managed to project myself here by thinking of her, you s
ee she is my sister she is pure good like me but I’m afraid she knows nothing of this. She was supposed to be save until she turned 18 and then her powers would show, she would know that she was different and I was meant to go to the mortal realm, find her and explain all about why she is like me and my people, please have you seen her.’’

  I look at this man before me and believe what he is saying.

  ‘’you are to late Kyle’’ I say

  ‘’what do you mean she hasn’t chose the darkness has she all would be lost if she has’’. Kyle ask looking defeated.

  ‘’no Kyle, I have not, but I may not have much choice in this’’

  ‘’wait a minute you just said you might not have the choice I don’t understand what’s going on’’

  His annoyance was starting to show on his face.

  I smile softly at Kyle as I take a step towards him ‘’ I am Isabel, Kyle’’

  ‘’why did you not tell me?’’

  ‘’ were are you?’’

  ‘’what happened?’’

  ‘’how did the price of darkness find you. You can’t even use your powers properly yet so how could he have found?’’

  I sighed as he asked all his questions wondering why I was starting to feel weaker.

  ‘’I did not tell you because I did not know who you were, or what you wanted with me, everyone seems to want something off me I’m sick of it, I’m in a place called the dark kingdom Dimitri has been healing me I felt ok when he healed me this first time, I mean there was pain as usual but I didn’t feel much of it because I was not conscious, but something has happened he has healed me again and the pain was so intense I thought I really was going to die and it would all finally be over, but I ended up here instead, and to your third question Dimitri has been in my life for a long time he said he found me when I was six the first time I used my powers.’’

  ‘’Wait a minute you were six when you first used your powers that wasn’t meant to happen you were supposed to be eighteen something has gone wrong. Oh Isabel I am so sorry I never thought you would be using them at that age what you must have gone through I don’t even know what to say has he hurt you since you used your powers at that age.’’

  ‘’ no he said he fell in love me there and then he just watched me and so did his guards the first attack was when I was twelve, but he never attacks me he gets his men to do it and he always tells them to make sure I don’t get hurt to the point he can’t heal me. He always asks me before the attacks to join him I have always said no I didn’t know why but I felt he was pure evil, this last attack was the worst, he got what he wanted me in his kingdom I always thought he just wanted me for my powers but it turns out he wants me as his wife, he said he will make sure it happens and now that I am at his home I fear he will get his wish.’’ I say bitterly letting all my rage show, as I did my whole body started to glow I didn’t even notice until I heard Kyle gasp and I looked up and saw what I was doing.

  ‘’sorry that only happens when I get really mad’’

  ‘’how much of your powers are you using’’ asks Kyle fearing the answer

  ‘’I’m quite strong now I have been fighting them off for six years I can control my powers now it took a lot of practice and’’

  All of a sudden my body tenses I half bend over and grab my stomach

  ‘’something is wrong I feel like something is pulling me out of here’’ I say full of fear at least here I am save from Dmitri he can’t reach me here.

  ‘’help me’’ I scream

  ‘’I will find you Isabel I am coming to get you out I promise’’ Kyle screams at me I look up at him but he is slowly fading until he is completely gone.

  ‘’Dam it’’ Kyle screams ‘’ I swear to you Isabel I will free you’’

  Kyle lets his mind wonder back to his body and jumps up from the bed; he walks over to his wardrobe to puts on his armour as he snaps all the buckles into place he turns to his mirror, silver armour covering his chest, arms and legs. He grabs his sword, the glowing light of it filling the room as he attaches it to his armour at his waist. With all the armour on he turns and marches out of the room to meet his warriors at the throne room. He opens the door and is met by his people all ready to go to the battle ahead.

  ‘’my people we must leave at once I connected to the chosen one my sister she is in more grave danger than we thought come my people we must save her at all cost’s’’.

  Kyle walks forward and opens the door leading out of the kingdom with his people behind him ready to march out to save the girl who will save us all.

  Kyle takes out his sword and raises it high into the air as they march out and lets out a shout.

  ‘’to the battle ahead we will not fail’’

  With a roar his men follow him out to the edge of the kingdom to were the portal is that will take them to the pure evil kingdom.

  Chapter 3

  I slowly start to open my eyes and at first intense pain shoots through my eyes as the lights hits them, I take a deep breath and try to open them again this time the pain is not so bad I look around as my vision starts top clear and I realise I’m in a room. I feel like I’m floating on a bed of pillows, I turn my head to take in my surrounding, it’s actually a really beautiful room is bathed in light, with exotic flowers in every corner the walls seem to glitter and shine, I swing my legs round to the edge of the four poster bed all my life I have wanted a bed like this with white nets floating down, but now I can’t wait to get out of it, I don’t know how I ended up here but I know it has something to do with Dimitri. I start to frown I know there is something important I have to remember I keep remembering the name Kyle but I have never had a friend by that name I shake my head and stand. God I feel so weak everywhere hurts even my heart, I look around until I spot the door I run towards it but of course it’s locked, I swing away from the door and run to the windows trying them all there Is no way out oh god what am I to do, how long have I been here I sink down to the bed with my hand in-between my hands all is lost now how can I possible get home when all of the men here are dimities I sit like this for a while. I slowly rise and walk over to the window looking out and see a cliff I gasp as I realise this kingdom is on a cliff, a dark thought comes to me I know deep down that if there is no other way home for me there is a way to escape I think to myself as I look out at the cliff I would rather jump than be a prisoner here for the rest of my life, I rest my head on the window focusing my shields around me and locking my plan to the back of my mind so Dimitri can’t sense it. I hear the door to my room open; I swing round and in walks Dmitri.

  ‘’hello my love I did not expect you to be up so soon I only fully healed you last night but I guess you just can’t stay down’’ he says with a smile

  ‘’leave me alone Dmitri I won’t give you what you want’’ I say trying to sound braver than I feel

  Dimitri looks at me and for a moment I see regret

  ‘’ oh my love you have no choice’’ he says with a sigh ‘’come I wish to show you round our home’’

  I started at him like he has grown two heads there is no way this is going to be my home, but what am I to do, wait Kyle I remember he said he would help me, save me that he was coming for me as I thought of him a smile lights my face.

  ‘’I see you are coming round to the idea good, I would rather you became my wife by your choice.’’

  I look at him in confusion ‘’ what are you talking about I will never be your wife you are evil. I am not like you I belong with my people and you are not them’’.

  Dimitri’s expression darkens his powers starting to show as the light gets sucked out the room and darkness comes, I start to back away from him when he vanishes, I look round the room wondering where he has gone when all of a sudden he appears in front of me I scream and try to run but he grabs my arms, I try to bring my powers forward and just as I am in reach of them his eyes glow so black it’s like looking into a black whole, never ending with the darkness, I
feel my powers leaving me for the first time in my life I feel so much fear as I look at him.

  ‘’what do you mean by your people’’ Dmitri demands

  I just look at him in silence so afraid of what he is going to do.

  He starts to shake me so hard my teeth bang together.

  ‘’ answer me Isabel what do you mean’’

  ‘’ he is coming for me, he promised he would save me’’ I answer, my body starts to tremble as the darkness grows more and it starts to get hard to breath.

  ‘Who?’’

  ‘’ what is his name?’’

  ‘’who have you been talking to my love and you best answer me I have never lost my temper with you but I am now’’

  As I start to feel the room swirling round me and going black I say the man’s name that I have come to love like a brother because he feels so familiar to me

  ‘’Kyle’’ I manage to get out before I lose conscious

  Dimitri catches Isabel before she falls to the floor, he picks her up and lies her on the bed, as he glances down at her he feels ashamed he lost his temper at her and the repercussion of this action has left her unconscious.

  He sighs and gets up off the bed and paces round the room it seems that the prince has been able to get in touch with Isabel, somehow he would have to find out how he had managed this. He sends out a signal to Omar telling him to come to his chamber, it seemed that the backup plan to make Isabel his wife was the only way to make her and time was definitely not on his side now that he had just found out the prince of the pure good kingdom promised to help Isabel which meant he was probable on his way now with a powerful force. There was a knock on his chamber down, it opened to revile Omar.

  ‘’you summoned me your highness’’ he said with a bow

  ‘’enough of that’’ he said with a wave of his hand to signal for him to rise ‘’ we are to talk freely in here we have a problem, it seems that somehow the price of goodness has been able to contact Isabel and now they are on their way we must use the backup plan to make Isabel my wife now we are very short on time’’
