Clash (The Forever Duet #2)

“Bend over the stairs,” he orders.
Enjoying this side of him, I allow him to turn me away from him so I’m facing the staircase.
“Hands on the fourth step up.”
Again, I follow his demands. Bending at the waist, I firmly plant my hands where he’s told me to. The sound of the zip on his trousers rings out loud in my tiny hallway, and that sound alone has me a panting hot mess. Just as I’m about to look over my shoulder at him, I feel his hand circling the globe of my bare arse cheek.
“Mmm, peachy. Eyes forward, Bon. I’m going to enjoy this.” He kicks my legs apart before dropping to his knees behind me, and the second his tongue comes into contact with my highly, sensitive flesh, I jolt forward on a moan.
“Fuck, yes.”
Lapping at my pussy as if his life depends on it, he inserts two fingers and they stroke in and out of me, hitting just the right spot.
“Jesus fucking Christ,” I scream as I start to grapple at the carpet on the stairs to steady myself.
“You taste like fucking heaven, baby.”
With his tongue circling my sensitive nub of nerves and his fingers plowing into me, I can no longer hold back. My orgasm is coming and it’s coming right now.
“Shit, Neil. I’m coming.” And just like that my inner walls clench so tight I’m certain it’s gonna last forever. I can feel the remnants of my orgasm on my thighs when he stands back up behind me.
“There’s nothing sexier than seeing what I can do to you spreading all over your skin.”
To some he may sound cocky, but to me it’s hot as hell. My breathing starts to return to normal, but I’m not given long to recover because a second later, I hear trousers drop to the floor and he’s sliding straight into me on a hard thrust of his hips.
“So, fucking tight, Bon. I could spend all day and night lost in your pussy.” He slides out, but only partially before he pushes forward again.
Digging my nails into the stair carpet, I bite my bottom lip as the pleasure he is giving me starts to build up to the point of no return and I know I’m gonna give him what he said I would. His hips meet my arse as he propels them forward repeatedly. Leaning over my back so his chest is touching my sweat coated skin, he takes my taut, pebbled nipple between his fingers and rolls it.
With the extra stimulation, I can’t take it anymore. “Fu-u-u-ck, Neil. By God, yes.” My orgasm tears through me like nothing I’ve ever experienced before.
“That’s it, baby. Ride it out.”
I push back onto him, chasing another one that I know isn’t far behind, and as if he knows my body better than I do, he lets go of my nipple and starts to rub my clit again.
“Together.” That one word is all we need: we become frantic, fucking each other on my stairs, and the only noise is both of us crying out as we find our release, together.
We spend a few moments getting our breaths back, him still covering my back and me still holding onto the stairs for dear life, to the point where my knuckles have turned white.
The quiet of my hallway is soon disturbed when Neil’s phone starts to ring.
“You better get that,” I whisper to him over my shoulder. All I get in return is a grunt. The ringing stops but starts back up again straight away.
“For fuck sake, if that’s Dylan I’m gonna rip his dick off and feed it to him.”
I chuckle and the movement causes him to slip free from my body. We both stand up just as the phone starts to ring again.
Going over to his suit jacket, he fishes his phone out from the inside pocket and looks at the screen. “Shit, it’s Sarah.”
Standing there, as naked as the day I was born in my hallway, reality comes crashing back down around me.
He may have just fucked me like I belong to him but, in reality, I’m still just the other woman.
Chapter Eight
Neil
“Oh fuck, what am I gonna say? I’m usually home by now.” Standing here with my trousers bunched around my ankles and my phone in my hand letting it ring out isn’t helping, and neither is seeing Bonnie in all her glory.
She gathers her clothes up from the floor and puts her underwear back on. “Hey, you came here of your own accord. I never asked you to,” she snarls as the ringing in my hand stops.
Thank god.
Bending over, I pull my trousers and tuck my still semi-hard cock away, keeping that little bastard in his confines. Bonnie turns away with her jeans and T-shirt slung over her shoulder and wiggles that sexy fucking arse of hers as she makes her way up the stairs.
Glancing down at myself, I look at the damage she’s done to my shirt. I can't go home in this can I?
Fucks sake that woman - she drives me insane.
While Bon is upstairs doing what she’s doing, I go to my car and grab my gym bag from the boot. Luckily, I always keep a pair of joggers and a T-shirt in it. As I close the door, Bonnie appears at the top of the stairs and shouts down. “Neil?”
“I’m still here; just had to go back to the car for a second.”
I move into the small living room, and flashes of the last time I was in here play on a loop in my head. Just as my thoughts start going south again, my phone starts ringing. With a heavy sigh I answer.
“Hey.”
“I was wondering when you’re coming home: it’s gone seven, you know.”
“I’ll be home soon. It’s been a long day—me and Dylan decided to hit the gym.”
“Should’ve known it would have something to do with him,” she mutters under her breath petulantly.
“I'll be home soon,” I don’t have the patience for her, so I don’t give her anything else. I click off the call and slide my phone into the pocket of my joggers. Looking towards the hallway, yet another room I’m not going to be able to walk into without getting a hard on, I see Bonnie’s feet and go to her.
“How long have you been sitting there?”
“Not long.”
Holding out a hand, I pull her to her feet, and we go into the front room. She eyes up my change of clothes, smirking. “Come prepared did ya?”
“Believe me, Bonnie, I’ve been prepared for everything all my life. The only thing I was never prepared for was you.” I take the seat opposite her—at least then I can’t be tempted to touch her. “So, should we have that talk now?”
“That depends. Do you have to go running home yet?” She pulls her legs up into the settee and wraps her arms around them.
“I probably should...”
“Then go.” She looks away from me.
“Sarah can wait; she thinks I’m with Dylan.”
A sigh shudders through her body as she turns to face me. “How the hell are we going to do this? How are we even going to work side by side? I thought it was going to be hard after the first time but now… You know we can’t do this again.”
“Who are you trying to convince, me or yourself?”
“Both,” she answers meekly.
I’m sitting way too far away to have this conversation, so I move across to the settee and sit at the opposite end to Bonnie. “Look, Bonnie, I don’t do this: I’m not Dylan. Before Serena, he played so many rounds of the field I’m surprised there’s any grass left on the pitch at all.”
“So, what are you saying?”
“I’m saying, I don’t put myself on the line for just anyone.”
With my elbow resting on the back cushion of the sofa, I lean closer until my lips are almost touching hers.
“I won’t be the other woman… the mistress. It’s not in me, Neil.”
Pulling back an inch, I study her face for a moment. She’s serious.
“I wouldn’t be able to sit here night after night and live with myself. I can’t lie in bed at night and think of you with her when all I’ll want is for you to be with me.”
“She doesn’t make me feel like you do…”
“I bet you say that to all the girls.” Bonnie s
mirks.
I move the loose hair from her face, tucking it behind her ear, and I shuffle nearer. Reaching out, I cup her neck and pull her face closer to mine before resting my forehead on hers. “No.” I answer her question. “I don’t. But I am going to give you some space.” Pushing my lips against hers in a tender kiss, the kind that Bonnie and I have never shared, I stand from the sofa. Bending over, I leave a kiss on her forehead. “You know where I am if you want to talk.” I pick up my ruined shirt from the back of the chair and throw it onto Bonnie. “Here, you can keep that as a reminder.”
Turning her head, she looks up and smiles at me.
Grabbing my gym bag and taking one last look at Bonnie, I head out of the house to go home.
Once I’m in the car, I don’t turn on the radio. Instead I make the drive home in silence. Having Bonnie’s voice in my head is more than enough to cope with. The way she’d screamed with pleasure is enough to keep me in wet dreams for a month. Pulling onto my drive, I stay seated for more than a minute, just to prepare myself before I go inside, only mine and Bonnie’s conversation scares me more than facing Sarah. I don’t understand half of what was said between us tonight. I don’t even know what I was asking for.
Well, I’ve fucked this up good and proper.
The light in the living room is on as I look through the door, Sarah is sitting on the sofa, but she doesn’t look up when I enter.
“Long day at the office, dear?”
I know she’s being sarcastic. “Sarah, please don’t start. It has actually been a long day, and I’m tired. I just want a shower and to get into bed.”
“Well maybe I want to talk.”
“Jesus, that’s all you do is talk. Not tonight,” I demand. It pisses me off that everything has to be on her fucking terms all the time. Well tonight I’m calling the shots. Leaving the room before she can pull me into an argument, I take the stairs two at a time and go into the bathroom, locking the door behind me. I strip off while the water warms up a little and stand under the spray. All I can see is Bonnie bent over the stairs for me, taking everything that I’m giving her. My dick twitches at the thought, and I know I’m not going to be able to sleep with a hard on. I soap up my hands, and with my one palm spayed against the tiles, I take my dick in the other. Starting with a slow stroke, I pump faster and harder, all the time with Bonnie at the forefront of mind. As my balls tighten and my thighs tense, I bite down on my bottom lip, my orgasm peaking for a second time tonight, and in no time at all, the evidence of my lust for Bonnie shoots up the tiles.
Once I’m washed up, I pull on some boxers and climb into bed. Laying back on my pillow, I clasp my hands together at the back of my head and look up to the ceiling. I’m totally screwed. I don’t think it’s going to be that easy to work with her and not fuck her, or worse still, fall for her. I think I may be halfway there already.
Chapter Nine
Bonnie
Four days!
Four days since he walked out of my house, yet again, after I let him fuck me like I was some dirty little whore. To be fair, I had acted like one. I’d let him do those things to me and not once did I try to stop him. Even now when I think about it, I have to squeeze my thighs at the memories.
If I were him, I’d want nothing to do with me. From what I’ve heard, his girlfriend has class and sophistication, whereas I’m rough around the edges and I certainly have no filter.
In the past four days, I’ve heard fuck all from him—nothing, zilch. So, I’ve decided I’m not going to contact him. We’ve got to work together, so it’s best if we just keep it that way—if only for my sanity and maybe my heart before it gets caught in the crossfire of whatever the fuck we were doing.
Coming out of the shower, I make my way to my bedroom just as my phone starts to blasts Nelly’s ‘Ride Wit Me’, and I let it ring, having a wiggle in my towel instead of answering straight away. When I know it’s about to stop, I pick it up and answer. “Yo, ho. How’s it hangin’?”
“Well, isn't someone cheerful today!” Serena responds.
I’m feeling anything but cheerful, but I can’t tell her that: it will just ignite a million and one questions from her—questions I’m not willing to answer, and if I were, I wouldn’t know how to tell her.
“I’m good. To what do I owe the pleasure of you calling me this morning anyway?” I hear some papers shuffling from her end before she answers me.
“Erm, I was just calling you to remind you that you have the cast calls today at the office. The girls are scheduled to start coming in at ten. Please tell me you hadn’t forgotten, Bon?”
I had so forgotten, but the little white lie rolls off my tongue. “Noooo, I hadn’t forgotten. I’ll be there.”
“Mmm, I’m sure you didn’t.” She chuckles down the line.
Busted.
“Don’t be late. Dylan and Neil are getting the paperwork all sorted as we speak for whichever girls you cast.”
Just the mention of his name and I wilt like a flower. This isn’t good. My resolve to pretend that my vagina doesn’t flutter when I think about him, or when I’m in the same vicinity as him, is already waning.
Fuck, this can’t be good.
“I’ll be there.” I tell her.
After saying goodbye, we both hang up and I fall onto my bed with my head in my hands. Neil Montgomery is my kryptonite. Just when I think I can start to pretend he doesn’t exist; he gets thrown in my direction again.
Groaning in frustration, I pull myself up from my bed, throw my wet towel in the laundry basket and go in search of some clothes. If he wants to fuck around on his girlfriend and think I’m just gonna take being the other woman, then he’s going to have to think again. Dylan and Serena's office has some hot guys working for them. I’m going to dress to impress. Let's see how he likes it when he has to put up with other men wanting my attention.
Rummaging through my wardrobe, I find my leather pipe-legged jeans and shimmy them on over my carefully picked cream lace underwear. Next, I slip into a deep red wrap shirt that plunges at the neckline, giving away just a tease of my cleavage. Once I’m dressed, I quickly pull my hair up into a messy bun, leaving a few strands loose, and apply some make up before I grab my nude heels along with everything I need for the day and head out of the door.
Confident! That’s how I’m feeling when I pull up at the office and make my way up to Serena’s office. A smirk plays on my lips as I walk across the floor. I can feel eyes on me, but they aren’t the eyes I secretly want on me.
Giving Serena’s assistant a flick of my wrist in a wave, I head on past her and walk straight into her office.
Fucking hell. I should really learn to knock. My eyes can’t un-see what’s in front of me. “For the love of God, you two. Can’t you wait until you get home? There’s a time and a place for that shit,” I say to Serena who is straddling Dylan in her chair. At the sound of my voice, she quickly jumps up off him, pulling her dress down at the same time. Dylan swings the chair around to hide the fact that he’s tucking his dick back into his trousers.
“Oh hey, Bon.” She glances at the clock before bringing her eyes to me. “You’re early.” She pats at her hair and I just smirk at her.
“You pair are animals.” And, as if my body is tuned into his, I feel his presence behind me before he even speaks,
“Is this pair of dirty fuckers at it again?” The roughness of his voice causes goosebumps to break out all over my skin, and I want to answer him like I normally would—with something sarcastic—but the words just won’t come, so I just raise my brows and nod my head.
Dylan finally pulls me out of the trance I seem to have put myself in since Neil made an appearance,
“Shut up, rotten dick. Just because you ain’t getting none at home doesn’t mean the rest of us have to suffer with you.”
I choke on a lungful of air at Dylan's statement to Neil.
He’s not sleeping with, Sarah? What the fuck?
<
br /> “Now, boys. Let’s not get into a pissing contest.” Serena diffuses the situation as I’m trying to get some air back into my lungs. “Shall we go to the conference room? The girls are all gonna start arriving soon.” Serena claps her hands together, pretending that the last five minutes haven’t happened.
Pulling my shit together, I straighten my back, stick my boobs out and follow Serena, leaving the men behind us—which makes me want to high five myself because I know he’s watching my arse as I walk away.
Just as we’re about to enter the conference room, I hear the sound of a wolf whistle.
“Well, fuck me, Bon. You look stunning as ever.”
I look over my shoulder at the voice and see Tommy, the guy from accounting who I may have had the unfortunate pleasure of making out with at a party that Dylan threw just before I slept with Neil for the first time.
To this day, I’ve never told anyone about my lapse in judgement when it came to playing tonsil tennis with Tommy—not even Serena. In my defence, though, I’m fully laying blame on the six large gins and shots of sambuca that I consumed that night.
I open my mouth to speak but I’m cut off.
“Fuck off, Tommy. Bonnie’s here to work, so no fraternization,” Neil barks.
I look at Neil in disbelief and Tommy scoffs.
“No fraternization? Are you fucking kidding me? Our bosses are screwing like rabbits around the office every chance they get.”
I see Neil stumped for words, but then he fires back with, “Exactly! They’re the bosses: they can do what they like. You, on the other hand, can’t. Don’t forget who pays your wages.” Neil comes forward towards me, placing his hand on the small of my back and guiding me to a chair in the conference room. “Fucking wanker.” He growls so only I hear him.
We’re halfway through casting, and Neil hasn’t spoken two bloody words to me. He’s grunted and shoved papers in my direction and has spoken to the girls directly, but that’s about it. I’ve seen him look at me out of the corner of his eye, and I can tell he wants to say something, but again, he’s kept his mouth shut and put a distance between us so we can’t ‘accidentally’ touch.
