I wonder what the fuck is going to happen. Still, curiosity has got the better of me, so I grasp an outfit from the stack and casually put it on after taking off my dress, which I lay by the window so I know where it is. I’ll come back for it later.

I peel off the sticker and push it against my skin. Surprisingly, it sticks. Number fifty-one, Kitty. That’s me.

When the girls start to walk, I follow suit, out of the door and into the hallways. We pass a few doors and go down a staircase where a few women are waiting in the middle of a grand hallway.

“Welcome, ladies,” two of them say, and they open the doors into a gigantic ballroom.

While the girls step inside, my heart begins to race.

The moment they step aside, each going into their own corner of the room to meet with fellow guests, my brain struggles to comprehend what I’m witnessing.

Everywhere I look, I see men fucking half-naked or partially naked women—on chairs, couches, tables, and even the floor. Several contraptions are set up in each section of the big ballroom. Like a cross with a woman strapped to it. She’s being whipped with a spiky leather strap that leaves red welts all over her body. Her screams fill the room, but no one seems bothered by it. Most are too busy themselves, and others are enjoying the sight.

With my lips parted and my breath faltering, I stroll through the crowds slowly, watching the spectacle of debauchery all around me.

Two men fucking one girl on a sofa while another girl alternates between two men’s dicks in her mouth. Another girl casually plays with herself on a stool, spreading herself for all to see.

Another one is strapped to a wooden chair, her legs and hands bound while men use her mouth and hands to pleasure themselves. Another one is tied to something metallic hanging from the ceiling, her body floating in the air tied down with ropes in a very uncomfortable but beautiful looking position.

In the middle of the room, twenty or more men are fucking three girls. Each rotate position after a few minutes have passed. The middle one is on her belly with her ass high up in the air and covered in lube. In fact, everyone in this room seems slippery and wet, with the exception of the men still wearing their suits. But nothing can hide their obvious hard-ons, protruding through their pants as they watch the show in front of them.

  “Beautiful, isn’t it?”

I turn my head. Someone’s behind me, but I have no clue who it is. I don’t recognize the voice. All I see is a man in a black suit, just like all the others, only this one has his hair tucked up into a bun.

“Yes,” I mutter, not even sure how to respond. “Everyone is so … relaxed.”

It’s as if everyone here is already used to this. Like they were expecting this to happen.

  Everyone … but me.

  “Yes, the ultimate satisfaction.”

“An orgy,” I reply, stunned and mildly confused by my own excitement at seeing the girls grin so gleefully at how they are being used.

“Do you see it?” the man whispers, pointing at one of the girls in the middle of the room. “The happiness on their faces?”

  I nod, still breathless.

“They’re doing this out of their own free will,” he says.

  If that’s true … wow.

All these people together in one room, coming together just for the sake of having wild, kinky sex. It’s almost like I just jumped into a movie, but it’s playing out in real life, right in front of me. And here I thought I was depraved …

Still, I wonder why all these people would sign up for this. Is it only because they’re interested, or is there more at play? How would they gather so many people willing to give their bodies to one another?

“They’re getting paid, right?” I ask.

“Yes … but I’d wager at least one of them would do it for free,” he replies, then he looks at me questioningly. “Would you?”

“Me?” I stammer, my cheeks flushing with heat.

“You’re one of them, aren’t you?” he asks as if it’s the most natural thing. His eyes casually dip down and gaze at my tits.

Only then do I remember the clothes I’m wearing. Or more specifically, the lack thereof. Because my tits are in full frontal view with this mesh top, and my pussy too.

I struggle not to cover up.

So many people are here. All of them can see me.

A pang of guilt and shame hits me right in the guts.

That’s when his hand touches the back of my neck. “Don’t be shy. All of us are here for pleasure. Nothing more.”

When he attempts to kiss me, I move back.

“Sorry, I’m just getting my bearings, okay?” I mutter. “I have to find … my client.” I clear my throat even though it feels completely clamped up.

He pauses, and for a second there, I fear he might attempt to grasp me, but then he smiles sweetly. “I didn’t know you were already taken. Well, have fun then. I’ll be off to find another girl.”

“Good luck,” I reply, laughing it off as if it’s no big deal.

Even though it is. This whole thing is … beyond a big deal. It’s like nothing I’ve ever witnessed. Bigger than anything I’ve ever known to exist. An event like this? No wonder Declan kept it a secret.

Speaking of, I haven’t seen or found him yet. I wonder if he’s here and where I can find him. Would he stand in the back or in the shadows, watching his clients to check whether they’re content? Or would he actually participate to show them how it’s done?

I walk a bit more, looking around to see if I can find him, but there are so many people here that it’s hard to filter anything recognizable. All I see are masks, suits, nudity. The only bit that makes people stand out is the way they style their hair … and maybe their height and weight … and the size of their dick. Still, it’s not enough to find Declan. Not in this sea of people.

Still, I can’t help but be amazed at the spectacle, the music, and the scent of perfume filling the room. The mixture makes me feel strangely relaxed, my body floating through the room as I stare at all the scenes.

Both women and men cry out in pure lust, bodies entangling, stacked on top of each other, people grasping one another, sucking in the air, moaning out loud. Not an ounce of shame is visible. Not in any one of them.

I admire their willingness to give in … the power that it holds over them as they sink deeper into what looks like sexual nirvana.

And for a second, I wish I could join them.

Suddenly, a voice behind me pulls me from my thoughts. “Fifty-one. Come with me.”

It’s a woman. The same woman who pushed me into the changing room. She grabs my hand and pulls me along, this time gently, into the middle of the ballroom to the big table where the three girls are being fucked.

“Time to switch,” the woman whispers to the girl on the left.

She immediately leans up and crawls off the table, her body covered in lube and cum.

“Lie down,” the woman tells me.

  I do what she says.

I don’t even think about it.

My brain is on complete survival mode. Completely shut off from reality.

When my body hits the cold table, I go into a trance. My breathing slow and soft, my muscles letting go. With my eyes wide open, I stare at the man propping himself in front of me. His hands grasp my face, tilting my head back over the table until everything is upside down.

The only thing I see is his hard dick bouncing up and down as it comes closer to my face.

Two hands suddenly grip my thighs, fingers digging into my skin.

  “Wait.”

A burst of panic flows through me. I break free of the stranger’s grasp around my throat and lift my head. When our eyes meet, my heart stops beating.

  Declan.

  Chapter 17

  Declan

  It’s her.

I knew it the moment I laid eyes on her when she first appeared through the crowd of people coming into the ballroom. She had that same walk, that same lon
g ponytail, that same devious smile on her face. It had to be her.

I was hesitant to approach at first because I didn’t want to make a scene and upset the customers. But the moment Greta called her out to come forward, I knew I had to put a stop to it.

And holy shit, the moment our eyes connect, an ungodly amount of rage fills me to the brim.

Why is she here? How did she pull this off?

Goddammit, so many questions with no answers because I can’t ask her right now.

She’s on that table, about to get fucked by a client.

No, not just one … twenty or more.

They were all going to have their way with her, coming on her body, her hands, her face … inside her.

And the mere thought of that angers me so much that I squeeze her skin and don’t let go.

“Hold on, one second,” I say to the man, trying not to sound like a growling animal even though I feel like one.

I lean in and grab her hand, slowly pulling her up, keeping an eye out for the clients who are still fucking the other girls. I don’t want them to stop. The event must continue, no matter what.

So I lean in and softly whisper into her ear, “Follow me.”

She nods, staring at me as if she’s seeing a ghost.

She looks completely out of it. The perfume, music, and atmosphere have done their jobs well, it seems. But it wasn’t supposed to happen to her. She wasn’t supposed to be one of the girls. She wasn’t ever supposed to see any of this.

  And now she has.

I snap my fingers at Greta, who immediately pulls another girl from the crowd and puts her on the table as a replacement. I turn my head to her and say, “Take over for a while.”

She nods and eases the clients back into the event. I don’t want them to pay any attention to me. In fact, I don’t even want them to notice I’m gone.

Nor do I want them to know they ever saw her.

Kat … what the hell is she thinking?

With her wrist firmly in my grasp, I pull her outside the ballroom and instruct the staff not to let anyone in unless they can show a card. Then I proceed through the hallways.

“My clothes …” she says as I pull her down the stairs.

But I don’t give a shit about her clothes right now. If she has the balls to dress up as one of the women hired for this event, then she can walk naked through the lobby too.

“Wait!” she says, trying to pull away, but I won’t let her.

I push her against the wall and hiss, “You loved the shame, remember?”

Then I tear off her mask and throw it on the floor, exposing her face.

I’m not mistaken. It’s really her. And it doesn’t even fucking surprise me.

She seems shocked. Scared, even. I almost feel guilty, but then I remember why I’m so angry.

“You put this on. You made that choice,” I growl. “Now c’mon.”

I drag her along down more stairs and into the hallway until we finally reach my office. I push her inside and slam the door shut behind me.

  Kat

For every step he takes, I take one back until my butt leans against the desk. I search around to try to find anything to defend myself with, but all I find is a pen. It’s enough … no, it’s not nearly enough, but it’s something.

I don’t even know why I think I need something to protect myself with.

But damn … that look in his eyes … it’s murderous. And I think I understand why. A grin spreads across my lips, and the fear fades by the second. Now I know his secret. And boy oh boy … how juicy it is.

Neither of us dare to speak despite our mouths being unhinged. I know whatever words come from my mouth have to be good or he won’t believe them. But the same goes for him. I need explanations. A reason for this madness. And I definitely need to know more.

“What the hell are you doing here?” he asks through gritted teeth.

I casually lean back and place my hands on his desk. “Enjoying the show.”

“That’s not what I asked,” he growls, marching toward me.

“Actually, it is.” I know I’m being snarky, but I can’t help myself when he gives me that look.

“Don’t. Lie. To. Me.” He’s practically in my face right now. But I’m not scared.

  “It’s not a lie,” I reply.

His lip twitches, and I wonder what he’s thinking. If he has as many questions as I do. If he feels caught in the act.

“Bullshit,” he says. “You came here to spy on me. Why?”

“Spy?” I say, narrowing my eyes.

He grabs my arms. “What are you hiding?”

  “Nothing,” I say, frowning.

  “Who do you work for?”

He seems out of his mind.

“It’s none of your business,” I reply.

His grip grows tighter as every second passes. “The moment you walked into my hotel, you made it my business.”

  “So it’s your hotel now?”

“Don’t play semantics with me,” he growls. “You knew what you were getting yourself into when you walked through that door.”

“Why would I come in the first place if I knew what kind of sex show you guys were putting on?”

“Oh … oh-ho-ho.” He laughs. Hard. And loud. “Don’t pretend you don’t love the kink.”

  “I didn’t—”

“Stop lying,” he says, pushing me further against the desk. “I’m done with your games.”

“Let go of me,” I say.

“No, not until you tell me who sent you.”

“What?” I make a face. Has he lost his mind? “No one sent me.”

“Lies. Who was it … Davies from across the street? The national gossip paper? The cops?”

“No one,” I repeat. I don’t know what he wants me to tell him. “I came here because I wanted to know what you were doing.”

“Right … and you know everything now,” he sneers.

“Because you wouldn’t tell me,” I say.

“No … of course not. Look at what happened,” he says.

“Nothing would’ve happened if you’d just explained what you do here at this hotel.”

He narrows his eyes. “Oh, and you think I’m just going to tell you? Do you think I’m stupid?”

“No, I think you find it hard to trust people. And that’s okay,” I reply.

There’s a momentary pause, a silence that thickens in the air, causing us both to choke up.

“Can I even trust you?” he asks, his lip curling up.

I nod. I don’t think I can gather the words. It’s hard. So hard …

Because all I want to do right now is go back home, sit down behind my laptop, and write that motherfucking story like my life depends on it. But I can’t. At least, not right now with him breathing down my neck like a certified dragon.

He’s pissed off, and rightfully so, but I can’t turn back time. I made this choice for a reason.

He sighs and shakes his head, releasing my arm. Instead, he places his hand on the desk behind me. “You play a dangerous game, Kat.”

“I guess it’s what I like.” I lean forward, using my boobs as leverage.

I know it’s wrong, but I also know I don’t want to get into trouble. Especially not with him. I’d rather keep him on my good side. Whatever that means right now.

“What were you thinking?” he says. His voice still sounds strained, but less than before.

“I just wanted to see. That’s all.”

“You were curious. I get it. But you should’ve come to me,” he says.

“I did. Several times. You ignored me,” I reply.

“For good reasons. This company lives and survives on discretion.”

“I can be discreet,” I say.

  “Right,” he scoffs.

I eye him up and down. “What?”

“Like this?” He grabs the bottom piece of the short outfit I’m wearing and waves it around as though it’s a bunch of leaves. It’s truly whimsica
l, but it makes sense in the setting.

But I am well aware of how it looks … and how naked I feel right now.

“Your people made me wear this,” I reply, feeling my face warm just from the thought of him seeing all of me. And when his eyes actually roll down, my whole body tingles.

“These are for the girls we hire,” he says. “And you aren’t one of them. How did you get in?”

“Easy.” I shrug. “I followed the crowd, pretended I belonged to one of your customers, and presto.”

He frowns. “I’ll need to have a tough conversation with my guards.”

  I smirk. “Sounds like it.”

“Don’t think I’m letting you off the hook,” he says. “What you did was wrong.”

“Oh … are you going to have me arrested?” I jest, jokingly poking him, but he doesn’t even flinch.

“I should.” His voice is so serious I don’t even know whether he’s for real. Yikes.

“Sorry,” I say. “I just couldn’t stop. I had to see for myself.”

“And?” He cocks his head, lifting a brow.

“I …” God, I don’t think it’s ever been this difficult to find the right words.

Suddenly, he lifts my chin. “Tell me what you saw.”

  “People … naked … fucking …”

  “And?”

“A woman was screaming while she was being hit.”

“And how did that make you feel?” he asks.

  “Strange …”

“In a good way or a bad way?”

I lick my lips and think about it for a second. “I don’t know. I don’t know why she did it.”

“Some people like pain. Others like giving it,” he says. “But they’re all there because they want to be.”

“Okay.” I frown, letting out a sigh.

“What you saw is strictly confidential. Do you understand?” His sudden shift in tone has me on edge.

“You want me to give you my word,” I fill in for him. “But even that won’t be enough.”

He pauses for a moment before answering. “You’re right.”

I fold my arms. “You don’t trust me.”

“You haven’t exactly given me any reason to.”
