Buzz! The Dragon Palace whose doors were previously closed began to glow in a bright light, quickly the figure of the previously missing Jin Wuya appeared, then she walked out of the light and gazed at the crowd of practitioners who was now looking at her with complete attention.

“Hmm, where is Yun’er?” Feng Yu muttered as he noticed that Jing Mingyun was not by her side, he was about to ask about her but before he could say anything Jing Wuya swept her indifferent eyes across the audience before she spoke to them in a resonant voice, “The Dragon Palace is now closed! You are now free to depart from here within those arrays! To use them, all you have to do is simply stand on top of them and will for the location you wish to be transferred...”

As they heard these words the faces of the practitioners became excited as they couldn’t wait to leave this place, Xun Yanshan looked at his group from the Golden Dragon Imperial Capital before fixing his eyes on the figures of Zang Xu, Xia Rou, and Ye Weng.

“It seems that they’ve all grown…” Xun Yanshan muttered in a soft voice as he stared at them in a daze; a figure soon walked up to him and spoke, “Sir, we have all prepared!”

Xun Yanshan hearing this nodded his head and spoke, “Good! Tell our people to gather it is time for us to return…”

“Understood!” The person replied as he rushed towards the member’s message, as the members heard this they began to gather together, Zang Xu seeing this frowned for a moment before leaving the group, he walked towards Feng Clan’s location gazing towards Feng Yu who stood beside his father and uncle before speaking in a loud voice.

“Feng Yu, our battle is yet to be completed and like myself, I’m sure that you don’t want to leave things unfinished… in roughly two and half years there will be a gathering of all the talents from the different kingdoms and great empires, that gathering is called, the Dragon Talent Meet. I will be looking forward to its appearance…” As Zang Xu said this, a sharp light flickered in his eyes as a powerful presence emitted from his entire being making him seem like a spear that could pierce through all things.

Feng Yu who saw this from a distance couldn’t help but grow solemn as he felt Zang Xu’s change, a dangerous power he hadn’t felt from even Dai Lin shrouding his entirety regardless of his new bloodline. He deeply stared into the eyes of Zang Xu before replying with a confident smile on his face, “Zang Xu… fine, I shall see you there…”

Zang Xu seeing Feng Yu’s expression nodded in satisfaction as he turned around and lifted his palms, balling it into a fist, “I look forward to seeing, which of us is truly supreme…” After saying this, he walked towards the leaving Golden Dragon Imperial influence that was now making their way towards the teleportation formation.

Xia Rou seeing this smiled as she spoke, “It seems that Brother Zang is looking forward to their next battle, hehe! But, they seemed to be underestimating the strength of mages; I will let them both know that the power of a magi is not to be underestimated…”

While speaking, the tome within her robes flickered in a strange light before returning to normal, Ye Weng who was nearby couldn’t help but retort, “Ha! Like that will ever happen, you’ll first have to get around my new star body…”

As Xia Rou heard this, she snorted before walking towards Zang Xu, quickly catching up with him and the group that was now in the formation, as she walked her mind, she couldn’t help but wander towards the unknown as a vague figure that could barely be recognized flickered for a moment before vanishing like the wind, “I wonder, will you also make an appearance…”

“Wait for me!” Ye Weng said as he quickly rushed over, soon after arriving, the geniuses from the other influences such Ni Wen of the Seven Blade Mercenaries, Sheng Bing of the Dark Sky Pavilion, Tang Lie from the Tang Clan, Nei Dongyuan from the Southern Revolution Faction looked at the departing Zang Xu with a competitive look on their faces as they didn’t plan to slack off in the slightest.

“Heh, I will be the victory in the end…” Nei Dongyuan muttered as he glanced at Zang Xu and Feng Yu, he then looked towards the quiet Nei Sinan who abruptly raised his hands and pointed forward before commanding the Southerners, “We move!”

Quickly, not only his influence but all of the others had started to move towards the many different formation arrays, as this happened, the many different rogue practitioners also began to move as they chose a set of random formations to exit the mystic realm.

Phew! The instant they stood on these formations a blue light soon after glowed around their bodies, it grow brighter until it eventually shrouded their entity before illuminating the entire region, quickly this light receded revealing the now empty scene underneath as all of the various influences and practitioners had all but vanished returning to the world of the True Yuan Continent.

The members of the Feng Clan gazed at this scene in silence, as Feng Yu looked towards the area where Zang Xu had vanished with a deep gaze. As if they could feel his mood, both Feng Yunlong and Feng Junling smiled as they spoke towards him.

“Haha! Yu’er, you seemed to have provoked the fighting spirit of a truly worthy adversary…” Feng Yunlong said while smiling, as Feng Yu heard this, he nodded his head and replied, “Um, I originally didn’t think he would be such a challenging foe but after sensing his previous intent… I don’t think it will be an easy victory…”

Feng Junling hearing this spoke in a deep tone while looking at him, “You are right! I can be seen that his fortune was no less than yours Yu Child, for his body’s energies are no longer as it was during the Chosen Battle Royals, I believe that his powers should now be connected to a true War Saint Heritage and this heritage is something that would make even the mightiest powers of Sacred Domain filled with greed!”

“……” Feng Yu hearing his words remained silent as he didn’t think that Feng Junling would have such an appraisal, he shook his head and cleared his thought before recalling his previous concerns, quickly he glanced towards the figure of Jing Wuya who was still hovering in the air and asked, “Saintess Jin, where is Yun’er?”

As Jing Wuya heard this, she glanced towards Feng Yu before replying, “She is inside of the Dragon Halls, a deep region of the Dragon Palace…”

Feng Yu hearing this asked, “When will she be coming out?”

Jin Wuya was about to speak but before she could reply she glanced towards the Dragon Palace before shaking her head side to side and vanishing into thin air. Feng Yu seeing this became surprised, but soon he looked towards Dragon Palace as he could now see the beautiful white-haired female smiling towards him.

He promptly walked over and stood before her face and asked in a rarely seen tone of teasing, “What’s wrong? Don’t want to follow me home?”

Jing Mingyun seeing this smiled even brighter as she replied, “You’re growing more confident everyday… are you that eager to be eaten?”

“Ahem!” Feng Yu coughed as he heard these words, his head filled with beads of sweat as he glanced towards his father and uncle in the distance, luckily for him they seemed to be focused on other things as they turned in the opposite direction, but if one looked closer they would see that both of their arms where trembling as if holding back from laughing with all their might.

The elders and soldiers of the clan also caught in a similar predicament as they tried their hardest not to let him know of their eavesdropping, as he was unaware of their troubles Feng Yu wiped the sweat off his forehead before once again speaking, “You truly do like to tease me! Tell me the truth, why don’t you seem like you’re willing to leave here?”

Jing Mingyun hearing his words sighed before she flashed in a complicated light, she looked at him and replied, “I can’t follow you, or at least, not right now… I must use the method left behind here to properly awaken my Dragon form and prepare for something else…”

“Prepare for what?” Feng Yu asked with a hint of a loss in his words, quickly Jing Mingyun replied, “All dragons are born for a purpose, a duty of which they should fulf
ill upon achieving true awakening. In the days of old my father had told me of my destiny, followed by my mother who has raised me in these realms for a very long time… though it is possible to change my fate as I cannot stray away from its path… for if I do so…”

As she spoke to her, the mood within the area grew solemn as a dark presence saturated the air, the previously laughing Feng Yunlong, Feng Junling, and clan members suddenly becoming serious as they gazed towards her from a distance.

Feng Yu also began to feel a certain level of danger from the surroundings; he looked at Jing Mingyun in silence as he waited for her next words. After pausing to look deeply into Feng Yu’s eyes, Jing Mingyun once again continued, “All lives will perish…”

The instant Feng Yu heard these words, his hand started trembling as even the faces of Feng Yunlong and Feng Junling sunk. Feng Yu reigned in on his turbulent emotion before asking, “What… what or who… who is it you have to face that could warrant such a result?”

As Jing Mingyun heard this she gazed towards the now ominously dark skies before taking in a deep breath and speaking in a soft voice, “Its name is…” Before she couldn’t finish her words, the ominous clouds above the heavens had a sudden change.

Bang! Instantly, a massive black thunderbolt that seemed to have traveled from the distant universe bolted down from the sky to the earth below it. This thunder was massive as its thickness was now smaller than their entirety of the Center of All Zone’s itself, it carried a strangely familiar aura as if it could not only destroy but devour all things.

As this lighting moved, the world became trapped in a state of slow motion as no one could even detect its presence, no one but the beautiful Jin Wuya who floated calmly above the skies. She looked at the thunder that was approaching in slow motion and pointed her fingers towards it before speaking, “Disperse!”

Following her words, the thunder exploded vanishing along with the ominous-looking dark clouds sending the world back to a state of normalcy. Time once more returned to normal, as only the sound of a rumbling thunder could be heard before vanishing within an instant as did the previously ominous sky.

Feng Yu, Jing Mingyun, and the others looked up at the sky in shock as they saw Jing Wuya who glanced down and spoke, “Heiress you have already said enough, evoking its divine wrath! The rules of this realm, as well as that of the outside world, are strict and I cannot lend my hand again if it strikes otherwise, I will be forced to battle against the principles of the world!”

As she said this, a black patch of darkness could be seen on her fingers which lingered for a moment before vanishing. Jing Mingyun hearing this nodded her head and replied, “Um. I understand…” She then looked at Feng Yu with a gaze filled with deep closeness as she spoke, “I can’t tell you more than what you should know, but I can promise you that once I fulfill my duty… I will return…”

Feng Yu who was somewhat distracted by the previous scene couldn’t help but become dazed by the beautiful woman before him, he lifted his hand and grabbed her waist before replying, “Then, I shall eagerly await your return…”

As she heard this, Jing Mingyun couldn’t help but smile as she moved her head closer and kissed him on his forehead before leaving his embrace, her body turning illusory as she was now fading away.

As Feng Yu saw this, he wasn’t surprised as he knew that she was only using a projection to speak to him from inside of the Dragon Halls. He gazed at her slowly disappearing form before speaking, “Be safe, Yun’er…”

Quickly, she vanished like a flicker of light, leaving behind a silent Feng Yu whose robes and hair swayed gently in the rising winds. Feng Yunlong seeing this nodded as he muttered, “A truly mysterious child…” Feng Yunlong who was nearby replied, “Hmm, indeed…”

After saying this, Feng Yunlong then looked towards Elder Chen and Elder Duan as well as the other clan members before speaking, “We must go! It is time for us to also take our leave!”

“Yes, clan leader!” The clansmen responded as they gathered together swiftly, as he saw this, Feng Yunlong was about to walk towards Feng Yu but was stopped by Feng Junling who held his arm. As he grabbed his arm, Feng Junling spoke with a deep look on his face, “It is time…”

As Feng Yunlong heard this, he sighed before turning to look at the silent Feng Yu in the distance and speaking, “Yu’er!”

Feng Yu who was somewhat despondent now that Jing Mingyun had left suddenly looked towards his family members; he shook off his mood and replied, “Father, I am coming!”

“Yu’er, you don’t have to come with us…” Feng Yunlong spoke in a hard tone, the members of the Feng Clan hearing this becoming silent as they knew what was going happen. Feng Yu hearing this was stunned but soon remembered the conversation they had during the clan meetings prior to the Chosen Battle Arena.

“Father…” Feng Yu muttered in a soft voice as his sunken mood returned, Feng Yunlong seeing this steeled his heart as spoke, “Yu’er, a true expert cannot grow in a greenhouse, to become a truly strong practitioner one must walk a path of blood and iron through countless trials… only then, would he be able to achieve levels of those who are truly strong…”

As Feng Yu heard this, he became silent as his thoughts wandered to figures of the every so radiant Golden Goddess at the depths of his mind before stopping at the previous scene with Jing Mingyun. Suddenly, he felt a feeling of weakness as if he was nothing more than a tiny pebble at the bottom of the mountain filled with many boulders, he clenched his fists tightly as he thought to himself, “True strength is only gained from perseverance… and what better way to grow other than experiencing the trials of a long separation on a distant journey.”

Upon thinking to himself, he lifted his hand and gripped the handles of the two swords, Black Lighting and Crimson Ember, before muttering in a voice only he could hear, “I must grow stronger and achieve the peak I couldn’t in my previous life, with my two swords in hand, the world should bend at their command…”

A firm light was now shining in his eyes as he shook away his previous mood, taking on the demeanour expected of a true expert, Feng Junling seeing this change smiled as he spoke to Feng Yunlong, “Now his journey will truly begin…”

As Feng Yunlong heard this, his eyes turned slightly red before he turned around and pointed forward, “We leave!”

The clansmen hearing his words quickly responded by moving towards the formation, quickly they arrived on top of one of them which was now glowing in a bright golden light, as this happened, Feng Yunlong looked towards Feng Yu and spoke in a loud voice, “Son, we will be leaving the Outer Continent in three years, before we leave we shall visit your battle at that True Dragon Meet. Do not disappoint us now Yu’er!”

The moment his words finished, the brightly shining lights flashed covering all things in sight once more before disappearing along with their forms, the Feng Clan were now gone to a place unknown to all. Feng Yu remained silent as he saw this scene while gazing at the formation with a deep gaze.

Suddenly, a hand lightly tapped his shoulder as the voice of Dai Lin could be heard, “Ha! Are you going to worry forever Young Master?”

Feng Yu hearing his words shook his head and replied with a smile, “I’m not worried, only curious…”

“Oh, about what?” Dai Lin asked with a tone filled with interest, the smile on Feng Yu’s face grew even brighter as he spoke once more, “Curious about to the wonders we will achieve…”

Dai Lin hearing this became silent as a thunderous spark flickered within his eyes, his mouth curving into a confident smile. Miren Fei, Lang Kuang, Leon, Myria, Toram, Tira, and Tiana were now standing behind Feng Yu and Dai Lin and each of them had a look of interest on their faces as they saw Feng Yu and Dai Lin smiling.

Feng Yu looked at them and spoke in a loud voice, “Our time here is finished! It is time for us to spread our wings… we will first head back to the regions of the Bright Flame Kingdom to handle both Miren Fei’s and Lang Kaung’s affai
r before we head off to the Southern Wasteland…”

As they heard this, an excited feeling soon came over Dai Lin and Lang Kuang’s faces while Miren Fei had a complex look in her eyes, but as for the newly joined members they only looked on with interest as they were not familiar with the outside world, or rather, to the two among them being Leon and Myria as they didn’t know of this world’s current appearance. Feng Yu smiled upon seeing this; he then looked at the floating figure of Jin Wuya and nodded before turning his back and walking towards the formation.

Quickly, they arrived at the formation which soon after lit up in preparation to send them away, as the lights reached the saturation point, Feng Yu couldn’t help but glance towards the Dragon Palace with a deep look in his eyes as he muttered in a soft voice, “Our journey begins at dawn…”

Soon, he vanished along with the Dai Lin and the rest leaving behind a silent empty region; Jin Wuya sighed as she saw this scene before speaking to the air as if it were a person, “The path of the chosen is now in motion… I wonder, just where his journey will end…”

She was about to leave towards the palace once more, but soon glanced towards the entrance of the palace in shock as saw a person’s appearance, he was no longer a middle-aged man but a handsome man garbed in ancient robes with long flowing green hair with grey streaks, the corner of his eyes had traces of wrinkles and his broad mouth was curved into a smile as his mischievous looking but profound eyes gazed at Jin Wuya.

“Little crow… it’s been so long…” His resonant voice said, shaking not only the world but the peerlessly powerful female before him who stuttered in response, “You… you…”

“Hahaha! What’s the matter? Lost for words? Hehe! I know I’m a handsome man, but I’m married, and I will never betray my wonderful, excellent, beautiful, bountiful, and luscious wife…” As he said this, his body seemed to flicker a little as if it lost a bit of energy making him now look like a feeble but strong spirit.
