So Hot MC Boxset

“Are you sure that’s why, Ryder.” Lucas wasn’t going to let me go on a suicide mission. And I liked that about the guy. “Really think about it before you agree to do this. I know you’ve got this legit reason to leave our MC but someone else can come up with something just as good, I’m sure.”
“I’m sure someone else could do that too. But I want to do this.” New Jersey was my home state. “Getting back to my roots might help me find my future. And I want to prove that I’m useful to this MC more than anything else. You guys had my back through the whole set up thing. You paid for the lawyers. You kept my woman safe when I asked you to. And you took care of the fuckers who set me up and tried to kill my wife. Along with all that, you gave me a nice sum of money along with a brand new car to replace the one the cops confiscated. I owe you all, but what’s more – I want to make you guys proud to call me your brother.”
A lopsided grin from Lucas told me I’d finally convinced him that I wasn’t doing this out of depression. I wanted to pay back some of what was given to me by my MC. “Well, then you’ve got my vote.”
“Thank you.” I looked at the president, Carl. “And you, sir?”
The man never made hasty decisions, and this was no different. “As long as you’re sure that you’re doing this for admirable reasons, then I will give you a yes. But before I do, I want you to know that if you feel the mission isn’t going anywhere or you’re in danger, then you pull out. You give Clyde some sort of signal that you guys can come up with and they will get you the fuck out of Atlantic City and back home to us. Agreed?”
I was happy to agree to that. “Agreed, boss.”
“Then you have a yes from me.”
My hand shot up in the air with my apparent victory. But Clyde stopped me before I started hooting and hollering. “Wait a sec, Ryder. We all have to vote. The majority will win.” He looked at the vice-president, Leo Clapton. “Do you have your vote ready, Leo?”
Chewing on his lower lip, he didn’t look as if he was thinking in my favor. “Ryder, I know that you want to get out and see what else is out there for you. But I’ve got to tell you that I have some reservations about you doing this mission. You’ve exercised poor judgment in the past. You’ve even admitted to how you haven’t made wise choices with the women in your past. Even the woman you married you have deemed a mistake. So, why should I think that you have the mental capacity to make this decision?”
He was right. I had made lots of bad decisions. The worst one was dating the crazy Kayla Brand. It was her brother, Joey Brand, who later became the leader of the Angry Hogs and had messed my life up good. “I understand your reluctance to allow me to do this, Leo. And I respect your judgment. But I am trying to turn a page in the book that is my life. I’m not going to lie to you. If I stay here, doing nothing more than working on bikes, the way I did for the past years I’ve been with this MC, then I will never grow as a person.”
Clyde added, “Before I joined the Marines, I was going in circles too, just like Ryder. One bad relationship after another. I was on a hamster wheel and couldn’t figure out how to get off. When I finally decided to leave my old life behind, I found something to take me away.” He smiled slyly. “Well, I did have one hell of a going-away party with just me and the one woman I had never had the balls to approach. She was too sweet, too innocent, and too good for me and we both knew that. But that one night made me enough of a real man to make it through boot camp and then to take my first tour of duty. She was my steppingstone, Leo. I think this mission might be Ryder’s.”
His story had worked, and I got one yes after another. Then Carl held out his hand toward me. “You’ve got your approval from the Iron Cobra’s council. So, there is only one more thing for you to do before you leave this meeting, Ryder Winslow.”
“And that is?” I had no idea what he wanted me to do.
“Hand in your MC jacket.” He winked at me to show me it was all just for show. “You’ve just quit the Iron Cobras. Good luck in the world.”
World, here I come!
Chapter Four
Janeen
Dressed in my usual get-up when starting a new movie, I had on sensible black slacks, a white button-down shirt, tucked in neatly to the slacks. Matching black flats and my hair was lying against the back of my neck in a tidy bun.
The only clue that I was about to go on-set was the face full of stage makeup that had been put on me. Max walked behind me as I made my way from the dressing room to the set. Passing one door, I saw the sign with the title of the movie being filmed in that room. “Candy’s in there. She’s moving up in the world as she’s starring in, A Box of Candy.” She’d been so excited to get the chance to be the center of attention for once. I’d wished her luck when she’d left our dressing room only a few minutes before Max told me it was time for me to go.
He pointed out the sign on the next door as I spotted a man walking toward us, his head down, he had a piece of paper in his hand that took his attention. “Here you are, Diamond. Diamond Does Delaware is the title of this movie. Sounds good, huh?”
It sounded drab to me. But no one ever asked me what anything should be titled or what the plot should be. Although the plots were so thin, you could see right through them. I could’ve written, produced, and starred in movies that would’ve been a thousand times better than any I had ever starred in.
Max moved past me to open the studio door. But I had my eyes on the man who was now right by us. “Excuse me.” I thought he might be lost. “Can we help you get where you’re going?”
Stopping, he looked up at me. His dirty blonde hair hung in his eyes, but he jerked his head back and it moved, showing his green eyes that twinkled as he smiled at me. “You might be able to help me. I’m looking for Mark. He’s a director who’s to tell me who I’m to get with about getting the actors some – um – I guess you might call them refreshments.”
Not only did the man’s face look familiar, but his voice also struck a chord. “So, you’re not an actor who has come to play a role in Diamond Does Delaware then?”
“No. I’m not an actor. Just the guy who helps get the actors to the place they need to be to do the things they need to do here.” He shrugged his broad shoulders and I felt a bit of warmth seep through my panties.
“What a shame.” Now, this guy turns me on. If we could get him on set, then I might not have to use my mental tricks to have an orgasm. “We’re really not picky around here. No need for acting classes. Any lines you have can be read from cue cards.” I so wanted to get him into the room with me and naked as soon as possible.
He eyed me. “Your voice sounds so familiar.”
And as he did, I eyed him right back. “Where are you from?”
“Baltimore.”
I didn’t know anyone from that city. “You’ve lived there your whole life?” I knew that I knew him from somewhere.
He shook his head. “No, I grew up in Camden.”
“New Jersey?” The floodgates opened and suddenly I knew who he was. And I didn’t want him to know what movie I was about to star in. Looking at Max, I shoved him to open the door. “Well, sorry to bother you. We’ve got to get going. Have a nice day.”
Max didn’t budge as I pushed him. “Did you say that you’re looking for Mark?”
The guy I was pretty sure was my long-lost high school sweetheart nodded. “Yeah, Mark. He’s a director. Do you know where I can find him?”
Mark was directing the movie I was about to act in. And he was right inside the room I was about to go into. I had to think quick and took off back to the dressing room. “Oh, hell! I forgot something. I’ll be right back. Show him to Mark, Max.” As soon as I got into the dressing room, I slammed the door and leaned my back against it. “Ryder Winslow!”
Pacing in the room nervously, I had no idea what I could do. Then I stopped and thought about things rationally. If Ryder was looking for Mark to find out who he was to give refreshments for the actors to, then that meant Ryder w
as a member of the Wicked Warlocks and he was the one in charge of giving the actors’ aid the drugs most actors took to help them relax and do their jobs.
Moretti had fed me oodles of drugs and alcohol, in the beginning, to get me to do what I’d done. Now though, I didn’t need them and only took them recreationally. I’d learned how to escape into my mind to get through the hard parts. Plus, no one knew it was really me - Janeen Smithers from Camden, New Jersey. I wore far too much makeup for anyone to recognize me as Diamond Desire.
“Diamond?” I heard Max call out to me. “Come on, honey. Mark wants to see you to make sure you look the part.”
Enough time had passed, and Ryder should’ve been gone by now, so I took a deep breath and walked out of my dressing room. With my eyes on the floor, I went back down the hall.
But then a pair of leather boots came into view and a hand touched my shoulder. “I’m sorry. It’s me again. You sound so familiar and you look kind of familiar too. I won’t be able to forgive myself if I don’t ask this.”
I knew I had to face the music. But I would find a way to make it my own beat. “Ask me what?” I shoved my hands into the deep pockets of the slacks, happy that I was in regular clothing, instead of pasties and a thong.
“You don’t happen to come from Camden too, do you?” His green eyes sparkled just the same way they had eleven years earlier.
“You look familiar too.” Pretending that I still had no real idea who he was, I scanned him from head to toe. “I grew up in Camden. I left just after graduation though and haven’t been back much at all.”
“Me too. Only I haven’t been back at all as my family moved.” He shifted his weight as he looked into my eyes. “Janeen?”
“Yes.” I smiled, coyly. “Would you be the boy from next door, Ryder was the name, I think.” Teasing him felt fun and I hoped he would get my humor. Not many people did.
“Oh, you think that was the love of your young life’s name, Janeen Smithers?” His arms were around me before I knew what was happening. “You are a sight for sore eyes, girl!” His hands moved to hold my arms as he held me out to look me over. “What a surprise it is to find you here.”
“Yes, I can say the same for you too, Ryder.” I looked around to make sure no one else was around. Max was, but I could say things in front of him that I couldn’t say in front of some others. “What are you doing here? Are you one of them now? You haven’t been. I’ve met all of the members of the Wicked Warlocks.”
“Well, I’m not one yet. I’m a prospect though. I came here from Baltimore. I was an Iron Cobra but then one of my MC brothers stole my wife while I was – um.” He seemed a little embarrassed as he stammered. “Sent away for a while.”
“What did you go to prison for, Ryder.” I had lived quite a few years around bikers and knew the lingo.
“I was set up. I swear I was. But that’s neither here not there. So, what has you here?” He held up his hands to gesture around. “I mean, this isn’t a place I would’ve ever imagined you being in. Do you work here or something? Like in a legit way?”
It was true that my work with the Wicked Warlocks was legitimate. “Yes, I do work here in a legitimate way, Ryder. But you’re getting yourself into a situation that’s not good if you’re prospecting this MC. I think it would be best for you to go home and try to find a nice MC in Baltimore. One that doesn’t do things that make their members end up in prison.”
Leaning in close, he nuzzled the side of my head. “You still care, huh?”
“Of course, I do. As I would anyone who I might stumble upon in the headquarters of such a club. Really, just drop this while you can and go.” I saw Max waving at me and gave him a stern look then waved him away. He could hold Mark off for a bit longer. “Tell him that I’m busy with an old friend and I’ll be in to talk to him soon.”
Max nodded then went inside the place I was to be in already and that’s when Ryder noticed that I belonged in that room. “You have business in that room?”
“I do.” I held my head up high and tried not to look at all embarrassed or worried about what he would think of me if he knew I was a pornstar for a notorious biker gang.
“Oh, wait.” He shook his head as she smiled. “You went to New York to study acting. What are you? An acting coach? Or some sort of executive producer or something like that? I can see you being any of those things.” He put his hand to the side of his mouth, whispering, “But the porn thing wasn’t a thing I saw you working with. But we all have to pay bills. I get it.”
The hole he was digging for me just kept getting deeper and the longer I didn’t come clean with him, the worse it would be. “Yes, I can see that you must have some substantial bills that you have to pay, or you wouldn’t be here, dealing drugs.”
Recoiling from me, he looked a bit wounded. “Ouch, Janeen.”
Yeah, too harsh, bitch. Come on.
“I just mean that life apparently hasn’t dealt us all the cards we’d thought it would. We’ve both found ourselves in places we never thought we’d be.” I laughed to lighten the mood. “Like, if you would’ve told me back on graduation night that you’d see me in the headquarters of the Wicked Warlocks’ MC, I would’ve said, what? You’ve got to be kidding.”
“True.” He laughed too and the awkwardness vanished. “So, I’ll be in town for at least a week, maybe longer. I would love to catch up with you, Janeen.”
“Didn’t you say something about having a wife?” It would’ve been awesome to catch up with him. If I wasn’t a pornstar.
“I had one. Well, technically the divorce isn’t final yet. But we’re not fighting over anything. She wants another man - I didn’t love her anymore, so it’s all good.” He took my hand, pulled it up to his lips, then kissed it like a real gentleman. “I know I might seem rough around the edges, but I’m not. I can treat you like a lady, Janeen. I’ve thought about you often. And I’ve missed you too. I can’t leave Atlantic City without taking you out at least once. Please.” He cocked his head to one side, looking absolutely adorable. “Are you going to make me beg?” One brow arched. “Please don’t.”
“I don’t have much time. And you’re pledging the MC, so that means you’re their lackey and will have to be on call for them. I’m not sure when we can carve out a time to meet up.” I knew I was babbling but I couldn’t seem to stop.
Until his lips met mine and I melted like a chocolate bar on the dashboard of a black car on a hot, summer afternoon by the beach. “Tonight. Nine. Dinner. Drinks. Moonlit stroll on the beach. Your answer is, yes. Your address is?”
I love a man who takes charge.
But this was Ryder from my hometown. This was the one guy I wished I would’ve had sex with and now I totally could have sex with him.
But you are a pornstar!
And he’s a drug dealer. Get over yourself!
“I think it’s supposed to rain tonight.” Proud I could come up with something that solid on the fly, I congratulated myself silently.
Furrowing his brow, he looked so hot when he was aggravated but then his expression changed completely, and he looked dubious. “I don’t know why I didn’t think that you would be involved with someone, Janeen. I’m sorry. I didn’t even ask you about that. Here I am putting the moves on you all hard and heavy and you might have a boyfriend. Or at least a special man in your life. Or maybe even a husband.” He took my left hand, looking at all my naked fingers. “Although you don’t have on a wedding ring, so I am going to take that as a good sign that you aren’t married.”
“I’m not married.” I thought to give him that much was nice of me.
“So, what about a boyfriend?” He held up his crossed fingers. “Here’s hoping that there’s not one.”
I couldn’t help but grin. He was just too cute. And sweet. And wonderful – just like he’d been in high school.
Sure, he still had that rebellious streak, but I’d known that about him then and it didn’t make me like him any less. “There is no boyfr
iend. But.”
I had to stop speaking as Max came into the hallway. “In here now. He’s getting pissed.”
“Crap.” I had to go. There was no way I wanted Mark to get pissed. He was a raging homosexual who hated doing straight porn in the first place. He had a tiny window of understanding to make what he called great art from such a lack-luster coupling. “Ryder, you’ll be around. I’ll be around. We’re bound to run into each other again. I’ve gotta go and I’m sure you do too.”
Max stopped me dead in my tracks as he Asked Ryder, “Why don’t you come in and watch?”
“That would be amazing.” Ryder came up behind me, placing his hand on the small of my back. “I would love to get to watch you work.”
“You’ve got to go find Vera to give her the drugs for this shoot. So you can’t stay. Sorry. Maybe next time.” I pushed him to get moving. “Hurry now. These actors need their refreshments.”
“Yeah. I’ll catch up with you later. Don’t worry. I will find you, Janeen Smithers.”
I just bet you will. But you sure as hell won’t find me naked on this set!
Chapter Five
Ryder
Clyde and I had to meet in my hotel room to discuss the day’s activities and what all I had accomplished. Which wasn’t much as far as the Wicked Warlocks went. But on the getting my love life back in action, I had accomplished a lot. Or so I’d hoped. “Yeah, Janeen Smithers, my high school girl is here in Atlantic City but she’s working for the MC. She’s in the movie production stuff.”
