“I, Sean Patrick Halloran, take thee … “
Sean’s voice faded as Alycia’s mind whirled. Sean Patrick Halloran! Was it possible? Could it be?
Sean’s fingers tightened on hers. Her senses settled, her hearing returned.
“Till death us do part.”

While lying beside him in his bed, Alycia shivered to the touch of the hands and lips loving her. Sean? Patrick? It really didn’t matter. They were different, yet the same. Had it all been some intangible dream? That didn’t matter, either. She was with the man she loved. That was all that really mattered.
Sean’s lips brushed hers and he whispered, “I love you, Alycia. I feel as if I have always loved you. And I know I will love you forever.” He sealed his vow with a tender kiss.
Their union was as perfect as mortals were allowed to experience.
As Alycia slept in her husband’s arms, she dreamed she heard another beloved voice, from another time, whispering in her ear.
“Forever, love.”
