  “And she said that night you was shot she tried to warn you but you wouldn’t listen. She went on saying that the bullets was meant for Zy.”

  “Oh really?” was all Zylen said. He wished he would’ve took the bullets instead of his fiancée.

  “That’s what the bitch said! The way she was talking it’s some more shit about to jump off.”

  “Why don’t you call her ass and see what’s next. I mean, I know she already know and if she don’t then I’m pretty sure she can find out,” said Ali. He was heated and ready to torture both Kim and Tamar’s asses.

  “Yeah, do that. That way we can already be ready for them when they make their next move,” Zylen said.

  “If you don’t call her ass I will.” Heaven reached in her back pocket to get her phone.

  “I’ll call. Let’s go inside,” said La-La as she got up and walked inside her house, followed by the rest of the gang.

  When they got inside, La-La took out her cell phone, dialed Gina’s number, then hit send and put the phone on speaker. Gina picked up on the first ring.

  “La-La, I’m sorry. I never meant for that shit to happen but I didn’t know they was going to go through with their plan,” Gina cried into the phone.

  “So what is they planning on doing next, Gina?” La-La got straight to the point of her calling.

  “They know that Sunshine is out of town so their plan is to hit Heaven where it hurts the most. La-La, you have to call her. I don’t have her new number and I caused you to lose your babies. I don’t want anything to happen to Hydeia, too.”

  The mention of their daughter’s name grabbed Heaven and Zylen’s attention. Heaven’s first reaction was to snatch the phone out La-La’s hand and that’s what she did.

  “What the fuck you mean you don’t want anything to happen to Hydeia? Let me tell yo’ ass one thing, bitch. If y’all hos come close to my fucking child I’ll kill all three of y’all bitches my damn self. Where the fuck them hos at? Tell them to try it if that want to!” Heaven screamed in the phone. She was so mad she was trembling.

  “Calm down, ma,” Zylen said as he grabbed the phone out her hand. Heaven picked Hydeia up and hugged her, squeezing her tightly as if it would be her last time seeing her.

  “Aye Gina, where the fuck they at?” Zylen asked.

  “I honestly don’t know. Kim is coming to pick me up in a minute so they could go over their plan. That’s why I been calling La-La so I could tell her. I called Fred but he didn’t answered either,”

  “Shit, so you have no idea when they’re going to make their move? I need to know everything you know, Gina.”

  “As of right now I know it’s a guy that’s involved.”

  “Who?” Ali asked.

  “I really don’t know. I never saw him, Kim told me,” she replied.

  “What else—” Zylen started but was cut off by Gina rushing off the phone.

  “I have to go but I’ll call y’all tonight with all the details. Kim is here but go somewhere safe until I call.” With that Gina ended the call.

  “Fuck!” Zylen shouted. “A’ight, so since Sunshine is safe and we don’t have to worry about her, the three of y’all going back to my stash house until further notice,” said Zylen.

  “And what about y’all?” La-La asked.

  “Oh, we’ll be alright! I ain’t resting until I murk somebody,” stated Ali.

  “Heaven, you and Hydeia already got everything y’all need there. La-La. you can grab whatever you need and we can be on our way,” said Zylen. Not another word was spoken as La-La headed to her bedroom to pack a small bag.

  Once they were inside the car, Zylen headed straight to the stash house, but he had a change of plan in mind for the ladies. Getting out the car, Zylen pulled Ali to the side, “Aye, I don’t trust Tamar’s ass so I think it’ll be better if we sent them to join Sunshine,” he suggested.

  “Yeah, I’m cool with that. La-La has been through too much already. I need her as far away from the bullshit as possible.”

  “A’ight, let me go let Heaven know,” Zylen said as he headed in the house where the ladies were.

  When Zylen and Ali got in the house La-La was in the guest room unpacking while Heaven and Hydeia laid on the bed talking to her.

  “But I thought you said nobody know about this place,” Heaven questioned him.

  “Alright, I’m just ready for all this bullshit to be over with. If it’s not one fucking thing, it’s another.” Heaven snatched Hydeia off the bed and stormed out the room.

  That was the exact reason she went off to college; to try to avoid all the bullshit. Since she’d got with Zylen it had been bullshit after bullshit and she was pretty damn tired of it. Now she had to miss more days of school because someone was actually trying to harm her daughter out of jealousy that she with Zylen.

  “Are you okay?” Zylen walked inside the huge master bedroom where Heaven and Hydeia were sitting on the bed.

  “Hell no I’m not okay, Zy. Those bitches really trying to hurt my baby over you,” she stated angrily with tears in her eyes. Zylen just dropped his head and didn’t respond. He felt bad. Heaven continued to speak.

  “To tell you the truth, Zylen, if it’s that fucking serious for them to want to harm my fucking baby, they can have your ass. I shouldn’t have to pack and leave because of your hos.”

  “Really, Heaven? My hos?”

  “That’s what I said! Them hos so in love with your ass that they’re willing to hurt innocent babies just to hurt me. And why do they want to hurt me?” Heaven said but didn’t give him a chance to answer. “Because of your ass.”

  “That’s not my fucking fault,” said Zylen in defense.

  “It is your fault! If you wouldn’t have been running to that bitch’s house every fucking chance you got then she would have gotten the fucking hint that you didn’t want her ass. But naw, you made the bitch think you wasn’t happy at home. Was that it, Zylen? Was you unhappy? I mean, I want to know,” Heaven said as she crossed her legs and folded her arms, waiting for an answer.

  “Man, Heaven, I’m not about to go there with you,” was all Zylen said.

  “Hell nah, nigga, we haven’t even talked about this shit and I’m not about to go anywhere until we get to the bottom of this bullshit.”

  “Heaven, I’m not about to do this shit with you right now.”

  “Well answer my fucking question!”

  “I’m not answering that dumb ass question. Heaven, you know I’m happy with you.”

  “Yeah, I’m still in love with her but I’m willing to fly my fiancée and my daughter out of town until I kill her ass,” Zylen said sarcastically.

  “For all I know you could be flying us out so y’all can be together.”

  “Really, Heaven? Listen to how ridiculous you sound. You on some other shit tonight,” Zylen said as he got sleeping Hydeia off the bed and took her to one of the spare bedrooms he’d recently made a nursery for he

  Waking up out his sleep, suddenly Zylen sat up and looked over at the window and saw it was dark outside. He then looked over at Heaven sleeping peacefully and smiles. Grabbing the remote, he turned on the TV and flipped it to the security cameras that surrounded the outside and inside of his house.

  The first room Zylen zoomed in on was his daughter’s room and his heart damn near stopped at the sight in front of him. On the screen next to Hydeia’s room he noticed someone dressed in all black walking up the stairs. Rushing to his closet, he snatched up his AK while keeping his eyes on the screen.

  “Heaven, get up. Someone is in the house,” he whispered.

  “Oh my God Zy, my baby.” Heaven began to panic. Zylen placed his finger to her lip to hush her.

  “Go to that wall. It’ll take you to the other bedroom. Get Ali and La-La up. The password is Heaven Sent,” he instructed quickly while pointing to the wall.

  Zylen had a secret wall that would take you to the spare bedroom that Ali and La-La were sleeping in, and on the other side of the room there was another one that would take you to Hydeia’s nursery.

  “I’m going to get my fucking baby, Zylen,” Heaven tried to run to the door but Zylen grabbed her.

  “Heaven, do what the fuck I said do. NOW!” he yelled and she did.

  Taking one last look at the screen Zylen saw that the intruder was inside his daughter’s room. He rushed over to the second wall and typed in Hydeia’s name and entered the room behind the intruder that was now standing at Hydeia’s crib about to pick her up. The sound of the gun clicking caused the person to stop dead in their tracks. Zylen knew the person was too tall to be either Tamar, Kim, or Gina.

  “I wish like hell you would touch my fucking daughter,” said Zylen.

  Meanwhile Heaven was inside the room with La-La and Ali, panicking.

  “Y’all have to get inside the closet and don’t come out unless me or Zy come for y’all,” Ali said as he grabbed his .45 he had resting on the nightstand. La-La and Heaven did as they were told.

  When Ali opened the door he saw two intruders downstairs and that’s where he headed. He just hoped his homeboy and goddaughter were safe. When he got down there he started shooting right away. Standing over the person he’d just shot multiple times, Ali was about to send two more bullets through their dome until he heard another shot right before he hit the floor.

  Zylen stood there with his gun still to the masked person’s head but this time Kim was standing behind him with her gun up to his head. He heard the gunplay downstairs and only hoped Heaven, La-La, and Ali were okay.

  “You might as well drop the gun, Zy. You’re not gonna make it out of this,” said Kim.

  “You might kill me but I guarantee you I’m killing this fuck nigga here,” said Zylen. He knew it was a guy because of his tall frame. He was too tall to be a female and the only thing that was stopping Zylen from killing him is that his daughter was now up, crying hysterically.

  POW! POW!

  Zylen heard two gunshots. He knew he hadn’t been shot so he turned to see Kim’s body lying on the floor lifeless and Gina standing there with her gun still drawn.

  “I knew you was a sneaky ass bitch.”

  Gina turned around to see Tamar standing behind her.

  “I tried to warn Kim’s ass about you,” she yelled before shooting Gina repeatedly. Zylen took that as an opportunity to grab his daughter out her crib. While shooting his AK he ran backwards to the secret wall with Hydeia in his arms. The masked guy died instantly.

  While Zylen was shooting, Tamar dashed down the stairs and right before she could make it to the front door she was hit with a single bullet to the back of her head, splashing her brains all over the wall. Zylen heard the gunshot while placing Hydeia in Heaven’s arms.

  “Y’all stay here,” he said right before disappearing out the room with his AK in his hand. When he got down there he saw Tamar’s body lying on the floor with Ali standing over her holding his chest with blood dripping out.

  “Shit, bruh, let me get you some help,” said Zylen as he grabbed the cordless that was nearby and dialed 911. Once he hung up he made sure everyone was dead before he got the girls out the closet. Heaven was kicking her own ass for putting up a fight with Zylen that night, but she was thankful that he, her daughter, La-La, and Ali all made it out alive.

  She was surprised to learn that Tre and Tyrone were in on the bullshit. That was something she definitely didn’t see coming. To this day Zylen still didn’t know how Tamar knew where his stash house was located.

  Epilogue

  2 years later

  Gina might not have called to let the gang know what was about to go down but she saved their lives. If it wasn’t for her, they all would have died that night. Ali understood Gina had to shoot him and he was just thankful that she didn’t kill him. She even apologized after shooting him and asked him to forgive her. It was something she had to do in order for them to make it out alive. They just wished she didn’t
have to lose her own life saving theirs.

  “Happy anniversary, Heaven Sent,” Zylen said as he and Heaven slow danced to Happily Ever After by Case.

  “Thanks love, and happy anniversary to you, too. I love you,” she replied.

  “I love you more.”

  Heaven looked over at La-La as she danced with Ali. She’d never seen La-La so happy in her life. After all the bullshit they’d been through in their lives they finally found true love.

  “I’ll be back, bae. I’m going to dance with my bestie.” She kissed Zylen on the lips before making her way over to La-La.

  “Excuse me, can I have this dance with my main bitch?” asked Heaven. Ali laughed and walked away.

  “Now how is this going to work? Two pregnant bitches dancing,” laughed La-La. She was seven months pregnant with twins again.

  “We’re going to have to make it work.” It was hard but they managed to make it do what it do.

  “I’m so happy for you, boo,” La-La said.

  “I’m happy for you too, babes. If anyone deserves happiness it’s us two bad bitches,” Heaven replied and La-La laughed and agreed.

  The four of them along with Sunshine and Hydeia laughed and dance the night away on the beach in Bahamas. Heaven couldn’t stop the smile that she’d been wearing on her face all day. She had finally graduated college, was pregnant with her second child, and was at a great place in her life, not to mention her best friend had just gotten married on her anniversary.

  Zylen and Ali were even out the game now and focusing more on their families. After all the bullshit that had been going on, who could really blame them? Heaven knew all along that Zylen was the one for her. She just felt it in her heart that he would be hers. She was right!

  “You know you’re my Heaven Sent, right?” Zylen whispered in Heaven’s ear. She smiled.

  “And you know you’re my dream guy and I love you so much.” She kissed him passionately as they danced the night away.
