Ruined (The Hazed Series Book 3)

“Do you like her?” Lea, asked, watching me.
“I need your help,” I said, walking to my room. I grabbed a t-shirt from my closet and walked back to the living room. “Change her.”
I threw the shirt at Lea and she caught it, smiling. I walked from the room, giving her a few minutes to change her.
“Done,” she said.
I walked in the living room and scooped her up again. I carried her to my room and laid her on my bed, pulling the covers up. She smiled in her sleep, and I bent down and placed a kiss on her forehead. She would feel like shit tomorrow, and she might hate me for bringing her here.
“You love her,” Lea said behind me. I clenched my jaw, trying my best to ignore her. She acts ridiculous when she drinks.
I walked over to the door, pushing her out of my room as she laughed. “You can sleep on the couch,” I said.
“This is sibling abuse,” she said, whining.
I waited at the door, listening. I could hear my cabinet doors opening, then a bag of chips. I rolled eyes and pulled my shirt off. I kicked my jeans off, leaving me in a pair of briefs. This might be pushing it, but it’s how I slept.
I laid on the bed, scooting far away from her. With my arms behind my head, I stared at the ceiling, thinking about what Lea said.
Taylor probably wouldn’t remember anything that was said tonight. She probably wouldn’t remember being in the car with me, and there’s a good chance she’ll be pissed when she wakes up next to me. It’s a risk, but I want to be here for her tonight in case she gets sick in the middle of the night. If I dropped them off at the dorms, she would’ve slept in her dirty clothes and could’ve been sick without help.
Turning to her, I exhaled a long, shaky breath. I pushed her hair from her face. “Please don’t be mad at me…I think Lea might be right.”

THE CABIN
“Hayze, wake up!”
Jolted, I peeled my eyes open, looking around. Taylor was staring at me wide-eyed, waiting for explanation. I turn on my side and pulled her to me. She starts patting down her body, then relaxes. It takes everything in me not to laugh.
“We didn’t do anything last night, did we?” She asked, peeking up at me.
I smiled, “No, you all but raped me in the parking lot, but I stopped you.”
“Did not,” she said, concerned. “Whose shirt is this?”
I crack an eye open again, looking at her shirt. “Mine.”
“What? Why am I wearing your shirt? Why am I in your bed?” She asked, jumping up. She searches the room frantically. I prop up on my elbows, chuckling. I almost reminded her that she was only wearing a shirt, but I kept that to myself.
“You threw up on yours. Keep your voice down, would ya?” I laughed.
“Did you change me?” She asked, stopping her search.
“No, Lea did.”
“Okay…Okay, that’s fine,” she said, coming back to bed with me.
“Jesus. When girls wake up next to me, they usually aren’t this upset,” I said.
“Like you would know! You probably sneak out while they’re still asleep.” She huffs, crossing her arms across her chest. She jumped from the bed and walked away from me. I probably shouldn’t have said that.
“Yeah, I guess you have a point. But that shit stops now, okay?” I walked to her, rubbing my hands up her arms.
She looked off, then back to me before bunching her brows. “Okay?”
“You don’t sound so convinced.”
“About what?”
Fuck. As I feared she would, she forgot everything about last night. I could turn back and go on without telling her. She could be completely free of my shit, but I don’t want that. I’ve been told drunk mouths say what sober minds think. If this is right, she feels the same way about me. We should give it a try. She could change me.
“About this, me and you,” I said, wagging my fingers between us.
She smiled, grabbed my shoulders and planted a small on my lips.
“I take that as a yes?”
“That’s a yes,” she said, nodding.
“Well, in that case, what are you doing tonight?” I asked.
“No plans,” she said.
“Let me take you out.”
With a brilliant smile, she bit her lip. “Okay.”
I helped her find her clothes before I dropped her off. Since her shirt was disgusting, she left mine on and borrowed a pair of shorts. I had to shake Lea a few times before she moved.
“Let me sleep,” she complained.
“Get up. I’m taking you home.”
Groaning, she slowly stood up and walked to the door. Taylor and I hung back, laughing at her. It was evident to everyone around her, she was still drunk. She threw herself in my backseat, and passed out again.
“Since you asked me out, I’m guessing I wasn’t that bad last night?” Taylor asked as she got in the car.
I smirked, “Oh, you were bad.”
Her face turned deep red as her jaw dropped. “You’re lying.”
Shrugging, I cranked my Mustang. “Whatever you need to tell yourself,” I chuckled.
“Promise we didn’t do anything?”
I parked the car in front of the dorms. Turning in my seat, I looked at her. “I would never do anything without your sober consent.”
Despite her embarrassment, she laughed. “I guess you’re not as bad as I thought.”
“Don’t tell anyone else that,” I said as she climbed out of the car. “Don’t forget your drunk friend,” I said, pointing to the backseat where Lea was snoring.
I honked the horn and Lea jumped up. “Why did I get stuck with you as a brother?”
She climbed from the back seat, trailing behind Taylor to the dorms. When they got to the door, Taylor turned and waved.
When I left, I didn’t know what the hell I was going to do. I kept thinking about taking her to the cabin, but I probably shouldn’t take her out there on our first date.
Jesus Christ. First date? Worrying about her feelings? Who the fuck am I? I didn’t stop at the complex, I stomped the accelerator. If we were going out there, I had some cleaning to do.
I always felt the same, driving down the driveway to the cabin. Dr. Moore and my mother insisted if I would just open up I wouldn’t feel this way anymore. Fuck that, I will always go back to that night and what happened. He stabbed my brother, I punched him, then he was drug off to be locked up like a wayward adolescent for the rest of his pathetic life. Who would ever forget that or let it go?
I walked in and immediately saw shit on the coffee table. Joel was here a few weeks ago and he left a line on the table. I shook my head at his ignorance. Grabbing a wet rag, I wiped the coke up, and looked around the room some more.
Nothing was out of place, and it wasn’t trashed. I looked in the kitchen, searching for food and wine. It was still stocked from last time.
I checked the bedrooms and the bathroom; Everything was clean. I sat on the couch. As my leg bounced with anticipation, I knew I wouldn’t be able to sit here long with nothing to do. I pulled out my phone and texted Taylor.
What time should I pick you up?
I can be ready in two hours, she replied.
See you then.
I threw my head back on the couch. What the hell am I going to do for two hours? I reached in my jeans, finding my anxiety meds. I popped two under my tongue and walked to the bathroom, waiting to relax. I stripped my clothes off and jumped in the shower.
I wanted her to see this place. It’s beautiful out here, but there’s more to it than that. It’s haunting…Most of my bad memories happened here. I want her to come, and make a good memory here with me…. Maybe she can make that bad ones go away. She can fix everything. I know she can.
****
Two hours later, I knocked on her door. Lea opened it, smiling. She looked a hell-of-a-lot better than when I dropped her off. I walked past her and she swatted my arm.
“Where are you
two going?” She asked.
“The cabin,” I said, shoving my hands in my pocket. “You ready?”
We walked out to my Mustang. It was left cranked and waiting at the curb under a ‘No Parking’ sign.
“Glad no-one stole your car,” she said as she got in.
“They know better,” I said and she rolled her eyes.
I’ve started leaving old music that no one knows, playing when she rides with me. She surprises me every time; she sings along, without missing a word. Thirty minutes later, after horrible traffic, I put my car in park. She looked around the cabin and yard in awe before she jumped from the car.
“Is this your place?” She asked, spinning around the yard, looking at everything.
“My dad’s parent’s,” I said, hoping she won’t push it. I caught her arm, leading her inside.
“Hayze, it’s beautiful! I’m so happy you brought me here,” she said, grinning.
I went to her and wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her close. “I’d do anything for the look on your face right now,” I said, kissing her. “You hungry?”
“That depends, are you cooking?” She asked. Her brows bumped together as I walked to the kitchen,
“You’ll be sorry you said that after you take a bite.”
She laughed, following me into the kitchen. “We will see. What are we having anyway?”
“Lasagna, my specialty,” I said, taking the dish out of the oven. I put it on the stove, standing back to look at it.
“That’s like the easiest thing to make.,” she said and I glared at her. “What? I’m just saying. Do you come here a lot?” She asked, changing the subject.
“Yeah, not as much as I used to. I come out here to be alone.”
“So, this is your grandparents place?” She asked. Fuck, I was getting the third degree questioning again. I was already regretting bringing her here.
Hoping she won’t ask anything else, I nod in response. I grabbed a bottle of water, taking a sip as I smirked at her.
“Are you close to them?” She asked.
“I am.” Another lie. I used to be, but they take my dad’s side in everything. I wrote them off a year ago, and haven’t looked back since. The truth is, this isn’t there place anymore. It’s mine. Everything is mine.
“What about your dad?”
She remembers my reaction from last time I’m sure. I sigh, calming myself before I speak. “Not as close as we used to be.”
I point to a seat, and she sat down, watching me. I grabbed plates, putting a serving on each plate. I grabbed a bottle of wine, and two glasses.
“No more questions?” I asked, chuckling.
“I have a ton, actually. Do you want to hear them?”
Chuckling, I shook my head and filled our glasses to the rim. “No, pace yourself.”
“Can I help you with anything?” She asked.
“You ask me now that I’m finished,” I said, putting a glass in front of her. I brought the rim to my mouth, taking a sip. With the pills I took earlier, I probably shouldn’t drink a lot around her.
“It looks good…and smells good. Let’s see how it tastes,” she said, teasing me.
I sat on the bar stool beside her, pulling our plates across the counter. She took one bite, moaning as she chewed.
I closed my eyes, thinking about anything unattractive. Anything that would block out the sound she’s making. That’s the last thing I need right now.
“Good, right?” I asked. Clearly it was good. I’m positive she just had an orgasm.
“Very,” she said.
I shoveled my food from my plate, eating with no manners. After a night of drinking, I was always hungry. Today, my nerves had the best of me and I hadn’t eaten all day. She laughed as she watched me, but she didn’t comment. I grabbed the dish, going for seconds.
“Want more?” I asked.
“No, thanks,” she said. She pushed her plate up, and tossed her napkin on it. She finished her glass of wine and poured another.
I pointed to the bottle. “Slow down. I’m not baby-sitting you again tonight.”
She put her face down, covering it with her hands. “Let’s not talk about last night ever again,” she said through a muffled voice.
I pulled her hands back, revealing her blushed face. “Last night was one of the best nights I’ve ever had,” I said.
She rolled her eyes, grabbed her glass of wine, and hoped off of the stool. As I finished my second plate, she searched the living room. Thankfully I had taken down every family picture in here. It was pretty bare. Just two old sofas and an old T.V.
I put our plates in the sink and joined her in living room. “Wanna watch a movie?”
“Sure,” she said. She brought the bottle of wine in the living room. She sat it on the coffee table and sat on the couch.
“Do you have a request?”
“Surprise me,” she said.
I looked through the small stack, grabbing an old slasher movie. I attempted to turn the T.V. on at least ten times before I threw my hands in the air.
“Are you fucking kidding?”
I grabbed the remote, pressing the button constantly until the screen finally came to life. I guess I’ll have to buy a new one.
I sat by her on the couch and she giggled.
“I’ve never witnessed an adult tantrum,” she said.
“Yeah, well, get used to it,” I said. Truer words have never been spoken from me.
“Thanks for the entertainment. It was worth it,” she said, leaning into me.
In an instant she’s flat on her back, and I’m lying on her, wondering what the fuck I’m doing. “Entertainment’s not over.”
My lips grazed her lips, sliding down her neck, and brushing her skin as I ran my way across her jaw. Her body tensed and I knew I was driving her crazy. Her fingers dug into my back, pulling me closer.
What the fuck am I doing?
“Patience, sweet Taylor,” I whispered in her ear. I nipped on it and she moaned. Way better than her lasagna moan.
She tugged on the hem of my shirt, pulled it over my head, and tossed it on the floor. I was starting to over think this like a fucking chick. I was worried she might later regret doing this with me if she found out about my past.
Without looking at them, her fingers traced my tattoos by memory. She rolled on top, taking control. She tugged her dress off and tossed it to the floor.
“I didn’t bring you here for this,” I said, heading one last warning.
“I know, but I want to.”
I stared at her for what seemed like forever. Her black bra matched her laced black thong. That had to be a sign that she came here wanting something to happen. I couldn’t take it anymore. I wanted her.
I tapped her thighs, guiding her off of me and her face fell. I bent down, kissing her deep. I gripped her thighs and lifted her from the couch. She wrapped her legs around my waist, kissing me as I walked to the bedroom.
I laid her on the bed, hovering over her. Her hands rubbed down my back, stopping at the top of my zipper. By this point, I was hard as a rock. I wanted nothing more than to bury myself in her, but I worried she would hate me later on for this.
“Are you sure?”
“I thought I was the virgin,” she said.
“I feel like an asshole. This isn’t why I brought you here, babe. If you want to wait, I understand,” I said, staring into her green eyes.
She put her finger over my lips, silencing me. “I have never wanted anything more.”
That was all it took for me. I unsnapped her bra, throwing it to the floor. She started to pull my jeans down, but I stopped her. I grabbed the condom out and kicked my jeans off.
She cocked her brow at me and shrugged. “Ya know, just in case,” I said.
She wasn’t amused, but she pulled me back to her mouth. With her bra gone, I grabbed her tits for the first time. I had been wanting to do this since I laid eyes on her. She had the kind of body everyone dreamed of.
Her tits weren’t fake, they fit into my hands perfectly, and defied gravity.
Her stomach was flat and her hips flared, giving her an hour-glass figure. She was perfect and she was mine.
I slid my hands down her side, grabbing her thong as I went. I threw them on the ground with our clothes; then I did the same with my boxers. I put the foil packing in my teeth, tearing it. With her eyes glued to me, I grabbed the condom and rolled it on.
I’ve done this a thousand times, but it feels different with her. I’m nervous. I don’t want to hurt her or give her a bad first experience.
I pressed my lips against hers as I worked my hand down. I slipped a finger inside and she gasped in surprised. I pulled back, judging her reaction. Her eyes were closed and her mouth hung open as she moaned.
She peaked at me, grinning. “I’m fine…. more than fine.”
I slid my finger in and out, adding another. When I knew she was ready, and I couldn’t take anymore, I pulled my fingers out. With a thrust of my hips, I moved slowly inside.
I stop for a minute. I pretend I’m giving her time, but the pause is for me. If I moved right now, I’d be done. I’ve never felt anything like this. Of course every girl I had been with, aside from Taylor, had been with all of East Texas.
“Look at me, Taylor,” I said.
When she opened her eyes, I rocked into her. I could by the look of her face, this was painful. I did my best to go as slow as possible until her face relaxes.
I brought my mouth to hers again, needing to be near her. I knew I was close so I slid my hand down, rubbing her until she began to moan. I picked up my speed as she began to squirm under me.
As she stilled, I pushed into her for the last time, and the condom filled. Not wanting to move, I laid on top of her.
When my breathing evened out. I sat up and wiped my forehead with the sheets before leaning over her again. I kissed her, moving down her neck, and stopping at her stomach, licking my way down. I looked up at her, and she stared wide-eyed at me as I went further.
When I reached my target, she threw her head back and grabbed the sheets. “Hayze,” she moaned, tugging my hair.
I had only done this once, and vowed to never do this again. None of the girls before mattered. I didn’t need to take the time to make them feel good. She was my exception. I’d do anything for her, and I knew after tonight, I would never have enough of her. I finally got it. I think I was falling for this girl.
