“It’s perfect,” I whisper with tears filling my eyes. This amazing man knows me so well. He has a piece of my heart I will never be able to get back, and this makes me happy. I will always be his.
“Just like you,” he says.
I lift my hair and he gently places it around my neck. Hand in hand we join our family and friends to celebrate the rest of our lives.
