Eyes On Him
Page 17
Luca gazed at his lover, and he knew that Julian was ready for him. Ready to take him. It would be so easy for him to just go along with that, but, if he were honest with himself, there was something else that he wanted just then.
Only that wasn’t quite it. He didn’t just want it. He’d wanted it for so long, and so intensely, that it really felt more like a need. He needed to know what it was like, so he looked at Julian, his face very solemn.
“Baby,” he murmured. “There’s something new I want to do.”
Maybe this wasn’t the best time. They were both jet-lagged, both worried about how things were going with Ella and Kiran. But maybe that actually made it the best time, after all, because it felt like they could both use the distraction.
Besides, he’d waited long enough.
“What is it?” Julian asked, instantly interested. One of the things that Luca liked most was how fearless Julian was in bed, how sexually uninhibited that he could be. He was so calm and collected most of the time, but get him aroused and in bed, and he was up (literally) for pretty much anything.
“I need you,” Luca said, and, with his heart pounding so hard that he swore he could almost taste the blood racing through his own veins, he lay back and made his meaning clear by spreading his legs for the other man.
“Oh my God,” Julian said, his eyes roaming all over Luca’s body like he suddenly wanted to devour him. To consume him, to possess him utterly. It was one of the hottest things that Luca had ever seen. And that was saying something since Julian so consistently aroused him.
“So you want to?” Luca asked, feeling vulnerable with his heart pounding in his chest and his legs wide open, his body pretty much on display for Julian.
“Yes. Oh God, yes,” Julian breathed. “Are you sure, baby? Are you just doing this because of me?”
Luca shook his head.
“No. I’ve wanted it for a long time. I want you inside me, Julian.” And it was true. So damn true. He’d ached to feel that connection, and he was done waiting.
“Lube. I need lube,” Julian murmured, and Luca smirked and gestured to his bag. Of course, he’d brought lube. He would hardly be likely to forget something like that when he and Julian were set to travel the world together.
Julian got up to get it, and Luca took a second to just admire the gorgeous, small, tight body of his lover. The really amazing thing, he mused to himself, as he let his eyes trace over the shape of his hard, thick cock and heavy balls, was that he’d waited as long as he had to demand that Julian fuck him.
Then there was no more thought, not of anything other than sex. Julian was on top of him, his fingers slick with lube as they eased inside Luca’s body. He knew he was tight, but he breathed deeply, and Julian went so carefully and had used so much slippery lube, that it didn’t hurt.
Oh, there was a stretch, a slight sting, but nothing that could really be called pain. Moaning, Luca pressed up toward the stimulation, allowing his hips to roll, to rise and fall.
“More,” he found himself gasping soon enough when that one slender finger inside him wasn’t enough to fill him anymore. “Harder, Julian, baby, please.”
He was rewarded by Julian’s slight smile, and by the pressure of another finger as it worked him open. Once more, he felt deliciously filled, and he started to actively fuck himself on those two fingers.
And then even that wasn’t enough. His body was accepting those fingers without any problem, and he was slick and slippery and stretched open. He had no more nerves, nothing but willing eagerness. That and a desire to be truly, fully filled.
“Now,” Luca whispered, his eyes seeking, and finding, Julian’s. For a moment, their eyes linked in a connection that was more intimate even than that of their bodies, and then Julian nodded slowly and eased on top of him.
“I love you,” Julian murmured, as he slicked lube over his cock and slid between Luca’s legs. “I’m sorry if I’m bad at this. I’ve never done it before …”
Luca waved that off impatiently. He didn’t want to hear that. He wouldn’t let Julian talk himself out of this with his uncertainty.
“It’ll be good because it’s you,” Luca said. “Take me, Julian. I want to feel you inside me.”
He let his sincerity shine through, and Julian, doubtful as he was, couldn’t mistake it. Or so it seemed. There was another hesitation which seemed to Luca’s aching body to take forever to pass, but then, Julian leaned in, and Luca was being kissed with a sweetness, a desperation, unlike anything he’d ever even known existed.
As they kissed, Julian’s perfect cock nudged between the cheeks of Luca’s ass, and then the head was rubbing against the entrance to his body. One more breathless moment of anticipation and Julian started to push inside.
Luca cried out, because that stretch, that sting, it was much more pronounced. Still, it wasn’t anything like pain, not as he’d ever experienced it before. There was far too much satisfaction in it, too much desire, too much of his body’s urge to be filled up completely.
And Julian did. He made him feel so perfectly full. Luca wrapped his legs around him, holding him close, pulling him completely inside himself.
“I love you,” Julian moaned, over and over again, between their fevered kisses, as his hips pumped and his cock slid deep inside of Luca again and again. “I love you, I love you, Luca.”
“Julian, I love you too,” Luca found himself whispering back. They fell into a rhythm together that felt so flawless, just the pure, true communion of their bodies together.
It was all so effortless, so perfect. Luca felt the head of Julian’s cock against his prostate, and he knew that he would come. It was absolutely inevitable. So he didn’t strain for that orgasm, he didn’t reach for it. He just let it happen.
When he did come, when he did feel those pulsing, surging, waves of pleasure that rippled through his whole body and caught him up completely, it was even more intense than usual, because he had the man he loved buried deep inside of him. Right as he came, right as he exploded and his cock coated itself in his own hot fluids, he felt the twitching of Julian’s cock and heard him groan in his own pleasure, and he knew that they were linked in this, as they were in everything.
Luca smiled. He was sweaty, and he was exhausted, utterly and completely. And yet he had never been happier in his entire life.
Just as they were settling in to get some serious cuddling time, and maybe a nap in, Julian and Luca’s phones, at the exact same time, chirped at them to let them know that they each had a text message.
* * *
There hadn’t been a lot of information to go on. Luca’s text was from Kiran, Julian’s from Ella, but they both said pretty much the same thing. To meet at a certain bar in the downtown area.
“Do you think they’re mad at us?” Luca asked, thinking about the surprise on Kiran’s face when he had laid eyes on Ella. Thinking about how shocked Ella had been when they’d presented her with a ticket here.
Maybe, when they’d talked, they’d decided that they were both pretty annoyed with them for interfering. All Luca and Julian had wanted was to give them something good, or to give them a chance for it, anyway, but who knew? Maybe Ella and Kiran didn’t see that.
“No,” Julian said, but he sounded just as nervous as Luca felt, and just as uncertain. These two people, Ella and Kiran, were important to both of them.
“Right, probably not,” Luca said, trying to sound sure of himself. “Otherwise, they wouldn’t want to meet us in a public place. They’d yell at us in private …”
He hoped.
They were at the cafe before Ella and Kiran were, and their imaginations were going wild. Luca could see it in Julian’s eyes, in the uneasy way that he kept shifting his posture. Luca was, after all, doing the exact same thing.
“Ella would yell in public,” Julian admitted, and Luca sighed softly. That wasn’t exactly encouraging, but it fits with his knowledge of Julian’s best friend pretty perfectly.
“Wel
l, Kiran wouldn’t,” Luca said, honestly pretty sure of that. “But he would sort of glower about it, and that’s almost worst …”
“I wouldn’t yell!” A familiar voice came from behind them, amused and indignant, and not really that far off from yelling to start with. “And I don’t glower,” said another voice, and Luca froze and then turned to face their best friends.
Who were both smiling, he had to notice. Who were even holding hands. That had to be a good sign, right?
“So … you’re not mad?” Julian ventured, and Luca felt like a weight had been lifted off of his back, almost like he could fly, he was so light and giddy, when Ella and Kiran shook their heads in unison.
“No. You guys just wanted us to be happy,” Kiran said. And he did look happy. Better than he had looked even a few hours ago when they’d briefly seen him at the airport. “But from now on, you two let us arrange our own lives, okay?”
“So … what now?” Luca felt compelled to ask, after nodding his acceptance of Kiran’s demands. “Are you together, or what? What’s going to happen with you guys?”
Ella spoke this time, with a fond look over at Kiran, the sort of look that Luca wouldn’t have expected to see on the woman’s face, as practical and matter of fact as she was.
“We’ll figure it out.”
And that was good enough for the moment, Luca figured. The four of them sat down and had coffee, and a lot had changed. The whole country, for instance, was a different one from before.
The base of it all was the same, though. Four young people, all of whom cared about each other, laughing and joking and having a good time. Carefree and unstrained.
* * *
It had been decided that Luca and Julian would stay in the hotel, which Luca could get reimbursed as a business expense, and Ella would go back to Kiran’s. The original plan was somewhat different, but Luca couldn’t blame Kiran for wanting some time alone with Ella.
“I’m worried about Ella,” Julian said suddenly, sitting on the bed, dark eyes gazing at Luca. “And about Kiran. He’s been working too hard. I wish he would come back to the United States.”
Luca shook his head.
“Babe, what did Kiran just make us promise like two hours ago? We stay out of their relationship from now on,” Luca said, amused. It was like Julian couldn’t even help himself, but then, Luca knew how much his boyfriend cared about Ella. The old saying about still waters definitely worked for Julian.
“Right,” Julian said, and then shook his head. “I guess it’s up to them now.”
“Don’t worry,” Luca said, going behind him and putting his hands on Julian’s shoulders, rubbing them. “I feel like they’ll be okay. They’ll work something out. And Kiran’s crazy about Ella. I have this feeling that she’ll be able to get him home.”
Home. What a nice concept. Home was in San Francisco, yes. And home was undoubtedly where his friends were. More than anything, however …
“You’re my home, Julian,” Luca confessed, whispering in his ear as he kneaded at his shoulders, working out the stiffness and knots from their travels. “Wherever you are, that’s home.”
Julian grinned at him, then leaned back into his touch.
“And you’re my home, Luca,” Julian returned readily. “I love you.”
For the next little while, things would be uncertain, and not just with Kiran and Ella, either. They were going to be traveling a lot, and Luca knew, from doing it before, how lonely such a life could feel.
As long as he had Julian with him, though, he would be home. He would have what had always been missing from his life, stability.
Everything else was just details, and looking at the man that he loved, Luca found himself more than happy with that.
Epilogue
Julian
“Come on, Julian!” Ella’s voice was impatient as she came floating into the room on a cloud of white silk and gauze. She looked ethereal and absolutely gorgeous, except for the look on her face as she put her hands on her wide hips and looked him over judgmentally.
“Chill,” Julian said, smirking a little, adjusting his tie. “We’re early. It’s fine.”
Ella made an impatient noise in the back of her throat, and then came over to finish tying his tie for him. She took a step back to look at them and then turned him so that they were looking in the mirror together.
Two handsome, fancy, and slightly terrified people gazed back at them. Ella, an utter vision in her white dress, looking like what Julian would imagine was every little girl’s idea of a fairy tale princess bride. And he liked to flatter himself that he didn’t look terrible, either, in his dapper black suit.
“We’re really doing this,” Julian murmured, his mind already drifting off to what Luca must look like in his own suit. Would he tie that long hair of his back? Julian very much hoped not. He loved that hair.
“Yeah. We are.” Ella grinned at him suddenly, and even though she was obviously still nervous, it was also obvious that she was just as exhilarated to be there as he was.
Funny to think that it had just been, what, about a year ago? Yes, that was right. About a year ago, Julian and Luca had decided to get married. There had been no big, romantic proposal, though Julian had been thinking about setting one up, and Luca had said that he had been planning something out.
No, they’d ended up just sort of agreeing to be wed, just lying in bed together in Cairo. It had all been very simple and natural, and before Julian could really, truly process it, he and Luca had been engaged.
Neither of them had known that, at the very same time, halfway across the world, Kiran and Ella were coming to their own arrangements on that very topic. How could they have? It wasn’t until a Skype call the next day that they’d found out that both couples were engaged.
From there, it had been an easy jump to a double wedding, which had to be one of the most romantic things that had ever happened to Julian. To get married, to say his vows, not only in front of friends and family (Luca’s, mostly. Julian had a cousin that was coming) but also to stand up there with their two best friends in the whole world?
It was heaven.
And it also meant that Julian had some moral support.
“Are you guys all moved in?” Ella asked, and Julian nodded, grateful for the conversation which kept him from going completely insane with the nerves, with thinking about all of the things that could go wrong.
“Yeah. I mean, we’re leaving on our honeymoon tomorrow, but we’ll be coming back.” He and Luca had scraped together enough money to buy a condo, mostly with a down payment from the money that Julian had made off of his music. Julian was still performing, of course, and a lot of doors had been opened for him, but he was doing it on his terms.
So much had changed. It had been, what, two and a half years? Yes, that was about right. He’d met Julian two and a half years ago. Julian had gone from a bar singer to a local sensation.
A couple of interviews and the fans had gotten the message, too. They didn’t bug Julian anymore. He released music when he felt like it, and maybe he made less money, but he was definitely also less miserable.
“I think it’s time,” Ella said when a knock came at their door. Julian took a deep breath and nodded. It had been arranged that he and Ella would see each other down the aisle, and Luca and Kiran would do the same.
None of the terrible things that Julian had imagined happening happened. Luca was there, looking every bit as gorgeous in his suit as Julian had dreamed. With his best friend on one side and his lover (and soon to be husband!) on the other and a small, intimate group of their friends and family all around them, Julian took a deep breath.
“Let’s do this,” he said, and the four of them walked down the aisle together. They took the first steps into their future, and that future was a bright one.
