“I taught him that,” Hannibal yelled as Alexander dove onto the ground and started doing the worm. Layla crossed her legs, afraid that she was going to pee her pants.

No one was laughing as hard as their mates, Elena and Kylee. They were holding onto each other as they squealed with laughter. “We should totally go on a double date,” Elena said, wiping her eyes.

“Definitely!” Kylee said, holding her stomach as she let out a deep laugh.

Layla was giggling at what she had done. Their wives were now friends and those two angry giants were going to have to go out to dinner together.

The song ended but the boys were still dancing full on, trying to win the judge’s approval. “Alright,” Layla said, running into the circle. She grabbed each of their hands like a boxing referee and waited for the laughs to die down before announcing the winner.

“And the dance battle champion,” she said, “is Alexander!” She lifted the Vega brother’s heavy hand in the air and Julius cheered while he grabbed Slate’s money. Layla loved Stetson to death but Alexander had a bit more rhythm.

  “Sorry, Stetson,” she whispered.

He looked at her with a blank face. “You’re dead to me.”

Layla gulped. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to piss off the person who cooked all of her meals. She would probably be served ‘sneezers’ for the next few weeks.

“He won on technical points,” she said, trying to save herself. “But you win on sexiness.”

Stetson’s face lit up with a smile. “I knew it.” He held out his massive fist and Layla fist bumped it. “We’re cool.”

Layla took a breath of relief as he left to go retrieve his shirt. He had thrown it up into a tree during his little strip tease.

Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean started playing next and everyone joined in the dancing, already getting the party started before the dinner was even served. Khan’s little son, Liam, slid across the grass, doing a moonwalk in his sneakers.

“Having fun?” Slate asked as he danced up to her.

Layla smiled as Karl came up behind her, joining them. “This is the best wedding ever,” she said. “Double the grooms equals double the fun.”

They danced until the caterers came with dinner and set up the tables and chairs. There was someone else tagging along who Layla had never seen before. “Who is that?” she asked, pointing at one of the smallest men she had ever seen.

“Uh oh,” Slate said. “That’s trouble.”

The three of them walked over and Karl introduced her. “This is our lawyer, Mr. Collins.”

“You can scratch Karl and me off of the list,” Slate said proudly. “We both got married and found our mate.”

Mr. Collins cringed. “I only see one bride. You need one each.”

Alexander and Stetson overheard and made their way over like two moving mountains. Mr. Collins gulped and his eyes widened as he looked up at the two enormous shifters approaching.

“What’s going on here?” Stetson asked in a growl.

Mr. Collins’ forehead broke out into a sweat. “I was just saying how…”

“He just came to say congratulations,” Slate said, giving him a warning look. “Right?”

Mr. Collins looked from Stetson to Alexander and gulped. “Right. Congratulations. I’ll fix up the paperwork for you two.”

The lawyer took a deep breath and hurried away without even saying goodbye.

“Who’s left to find a mate?” Alexander grunted.

The twins had told Layla all about the arrangement for the deed of the ranch. She knew that Thorn and Tyler were the only two that still had to find mates. They all turned to the alpha and the number two who were standing by the cake talking.

“Them,” Stetson said. “But good luck with getting them to find mates. They’re both still living in the past.”

Alexander’s hand curled up into a fist. “Maybe I can knock them into the present.”

“Just give them some time,” Layla said. “We can work on them.”

Karl groaned. “We don’t have time.”

“Talk some sense into them,” Alexander said, flashing them a warning look as he pounded his fist into his open palm. “Or I will.”

Layla gulped as the huge bear shifter stormed off. “We better find them some mates.”

Slate shook his head. “I’d stay out of it if I were you.”

Karl nodded. “Yup. Those two won’t go down easily.”

Stetson exhaled long and hard. “And then there were two.”
