Spring Break Navy SEAL (A Spring Breakers Short Story)

A few more strokes and he pulls out with a dissatisfied groan. Or maybe that’s me.

He chuckles, a low sexy sound, as he lifts me off my knees and onto my back on the ottoman, his hand gliding over my breasts and down to my bottoms. He toys with wet panel of my swimsuit, skimming a finger over my mound with precision before slipping under the edge. I wantonly spread my legs and punch my hips upward, seeking more friction.

“Is this all for me?” he teases, replacing his fingers with his tongue, flicking my sensitive clit and nearly sending me to the stars.

I’m so turned on by him and his talented fingers and mouth. It doesn’t hurt that we’re fooling around in a forbidden spot where we could be happened upon at any moment, adding to the excitement and thrill.

I moan and wiggle under his ministrations. “Zayne, please. I need you inside me.”

  “Well, since you need it...”

My desire apparently has no bounds, and I’m not opposed to begging. I grab the short, cropped hairs on this head and force his head up so we are eye-to-eye.

“Condom. Now. Or I’ll take care of myself.”

Zayne’s eyes flash with a cross between a dare and desire but he slides the condom on in record time.

“If I were a less selfish prick, I’d sit back and watch you do just that. But I want to fuck you too much. It’ll have to be another time.”

He slides the bikini panel to the side to expose my entrance, his swim trunks pulled down just enough to give him room, and slams inside.

I reach around to his solid ass and squeeze the firm flesh in my hands. He has buns of steel and a rod of steel, to boot. It’s a double whammy.

  A whammy-bammy-thank you-manny.

I disguise the giggle welling up inside me with a loud gasp as he thrusts in as deep as he can go, hitting something inside me that shoots me to the moon.

  “Ohhh…”

No further words are exchanged as he accelerates the pumping motion of his hips. The rhythm of his movements mimics the waves against the shore. And suddenly, an orgasm comes crashing over me like a barreling wave against the sea cliffs.

I dig my heels into the crevice between his rump and legs, my hands seeking deeper purchase into his hard shoulder blades.

I cry out in ecstatic release. “Yes, yes, yes.”

Zayne’s pace quickens, his hips piston with jerky, swift thrusts until he stills, head tipped back and mouth open, growling out his own climax.

Collapsing on top of me, his whiskered-jaw brushes against the side of my neck, his breath heavy but not overly-taxed, the spicy musk scent of him filling my senses.

I breathe him in, knowing this could be the last time.

Because after this weekend, it’s done.

  Zayne

We’re in one of the back booths of the club drinking shots and yucking it up.

My brother seems pretty lit, mumbling incoherently about some chick named Natalie and he keeps checking his phone and texting, seemingly becoming more and more agitated.

I bump his shoulder to get his attention. “Yo, what’s up with you tonight? This is your bachelor party, bro. You don’t seem to be having a great time.”

His tongue nearly hangs from his mouth, his eyes unfocused, as he grates out his response.

“I fucked up, man. You got your Glock? Cause you should just shoot me now.”

I’m floored that he would even suggest such a thing, but clearly, he’s totally hammered and not making much sense. Swiping the shot glass from his hand, I throw it back, allowing the strong tequila to coat my parched throat.

“You’ve had enough, Zeke. I think we should get you some fresh air.”

Shifting out of the booth, I yank Zeke along with me, who comes begrudgingly, complaining about me stealing his drink.

Lifting my chin to the rest of the guys at the table, I let them know what’s up.

“He needs to slow his roll a bit. We’re heading outside for some air. You guys keep the drinks coming and have some fun.”

They all give me a salute and head nods as I wrap an arm around Zeke’s shoulder to keep him from stumbling to the floor and making a fool of himself.

Just as we get to the main entrance, the door opens in front of us. I initially notice Erica in the front of the crew, and then my gaze lands on Abbie, whose eyes are wild and wide – almost panicked. I smile and am about to say hello when Erica opens fire, launching into a tirade aimed at Zeke.

  “You mother fucking cheater!”

My head snaps from her to Zeke, who tries backing out of harms’ way as a fist comes barreling at his face, but he stumbles and nearly topples over as I redirect him to a standing position.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” I supply sharply, intervening with fast reflexes that only my military training could provide, grabbing her hand before it does any damage, all the while keeping a teetering Zeke upright. “Calm down here. What the hell is this about?”

I’ve seen this level of anger before with one of my crew while we were on a mission. He found out his wife was leaving him. He reacted just like Erica, who is seething with anger, her hands clenched in fists, body vibrating and tense, shooting daggers with her eyes at Zeke.

Only on instinct do I push Zeke partially behind me until we can get to the bottom of what’s happening. I lock gazes again with Abbie, lifting a brow with a non-verbal queue for help. She just glares back at me as if I’m a monster.

How did I get dragged into this drama? I don’t even know what the hell is going on.

Erica takes another step toward me, her index finger pointed at me and then Zeke. “Apparently the cheating trait runs in the family.”

I straighten my shoulders to protect myself from the incoming verbal attack. “I can assure you, Erica, I have no idea what you’re talking about, but there’s no need for name calling here.”

She lifts a scary brow. “Oh yeah? Well how do you like these names, huh? Zeke, you’re a lying, no good, cheating bastard. How could you do this to me? She’s my maid-of-honor, you asshole!”

I can feel Zeke stiffen behind me and when I swivel my head to look at him, he’s gone ghost white with panic-stricken guilt. Oh shit.

  Say it isn’t so.

Maybe that’s what his piss poor attitude has been about tonight. And all the texts. And his sullen behavior.

“Zeke?” I ask, prompting him to say something to clear things up.

My brother hangs his head in despair and shame, his words slurring in disgrace. “I’m sorry.”

A loud roar comes from Erica as she lunges forward, pushing her palms into Zeke’s chest to send him falling backward into a table behind him. I look to Abbie for help, as she reaches for Erica’s arm to pull her back and I bend over to pick up my mess of a brother who lies on floor in a puddle of spilled beer.

Abbie comes to the rescue. “Erica, come on sweetie. Let’s get you out of here. Look at him. He’s a pathetic, drunken slob.”

Her eyes bounce to mine then, reproachful and accusatory, as if the words are aimed at me and not my stupid brother. “Obviously you dodged a bullet tonight.”

The women all start to head out the door of the bar, and as I make sure Zeke is balanced on his own two feet, I rush out to set the record straight with Abbie.

  “Wait. Abbie, please.”

The entire group stops and turns back, five pairs of eyes leveling me with hard looks. Abbie pivots hesitantly toward me, then back at them.

“Go ahead. I’ll meet you back in Erica’s room in a bit.”

A sigh of relief escapes my lungs. The thought of losing Abbie this way, leaving with the impression that I’m anything like my brother or that I knew anything about his cheating gives me more pain than the bullet that pierced my side two years ago in combat.

The four others hesitate for only a moment and then two of them wrap their arms around Erica and they walk away.

My guess is this will be the last time I ever see Erica again.

  “Abbie
” I start to say, but she holds up a hand to stop me.

“Please, save it. Just tell your brother that his ex-fiancée is leaving tomorrow and never try to contact her again.”

I reach for her hand on impulse, hoping the physical contact will soften her views of me. We don’t know each other very well, but I’d hope she wouldn’t associate me with that kind of behavior.

“Abbie…I have no idea what’s going on. My brother’s actions are deplorable, and I don’t condone them at all. Please tell Erica I’m truly sorry for her pain. But my brother and I are not the same man.”

I tug her gently so she’s only a few inches from me, holding onto her for dear life while I plead my case that isn’t even mine to plead.

“Baby, please. Don’t leave this way. Don’t pin his actions on me when I knew nothing of this. I need to know you believe me.”

A tear pops out of the corner of her eye and I flick it away with the pad of my thumb. She gazes up at me with trembling lips and chin, sniffling back the tears.

“Your brother broke my friend’s heart and cheated on her with her maid of honor and knocked her up. Who does that?”

I shrug in defeat. In her eyes, I’m guilty by association.

Despite the fact that we might be a spring break fling, I care for Abbie. Honestly, I can see us together, but this obstacle just did its best to sink my battleship.

“I don’t know, Abs. I can’t speak to his actions. Some people find ways to self-sabotage things in the worst possible ways. Your friend doesn’t deserve that. And you’re a great friend for standing up for her. You have a beautiful heart, Abbie. I wish I could get to know it better.”

I can feel the moment she softens toward me, her body relaxing from the tension it holds. She licks her bottom lip before snagging it between her teeth.

“I’m sorry for automatically implicating you in all this. I know it’s not your fault that he had an affair with Natalie and got her pregnant.”

It all makes sense now why Zeke was so distracted today. Constantly on his phone and looking defeated. He must’ve received the news just today.

Pulling her into my arms, I hug her, my cheek against the top of her head.

“I’m so sorry, baby. What does this mean for the rest of the trip?”

She rocks her head back and forth, a small laugh escaping her chest. “Well, the wedding is off, obviously. And I guess we’ll be leaving first thing tomorrow morning.”

I hold her tighter, my heart sinking.

“What does this mean for us?”

Her response is whisper soft, barely audible against the noise coming from inside the club.

  “I guess this is goodbye.”

  Zayne – Four Weeks later

As I roll to my side, I pull Abbie into my chest, and I feel content. Maybe even complete. And that’s something I haven’t ever felt before.

I was a fool to let her leave that night in Los Cabos four weeks ago. In the aftermath of all that happened, she left the next morning with her friends and I stayed behind to kick my brother’s ass.

But that wasn’t going to be the end of things for me and Abbie. I wasn’t about to say goodbye to her forever.

As soon as I got back home to San Diego, I made my plans to find her again. The minute she left I felt depleted and empty inside. Like I’d just found buried treasure to then have it stolen from under me and left penniless.

The minute I got back I began my search. Some might call it stalking, whatever. I call it tracking down the love of my life. I had to find her to make sure she knew how I felt. That I wanted to give it a go between us, no matter the cost.

It took a lot of finagling. Because, let’s face it, my girl is slow to make decisions. It took a full week just to get her to return my calls, my emails and my texts. Technically, I called in a favor at USC with a Navy buddy and found out one of her class times, where I showed up afterward with flowers and a request for a date.

Fuck, I’ve got it bad for her.

When the hell did this happen?

Rolling into her, I cup her jaw in my hand, gently tilting her face toward me.

Her hair is messed up and sexy-as-fuck, her cheeks warm and flushed from sleep with pillow lines across her forehead. She looks perfect. Something deep inside me swells in a giant rush to ensure she knows how much I want her in my life.

“Abbie, I love you. I want to wake up every day just like this, with you in my arms.”

Her eyes grow wide and her smile grows even bigger, but then her worry kicks in. “I love you, too. But Zayne, we’ve only known each other a short-time. And you…you’re going to be deployed again soon.”

I brush a strand of her messy hair behind her ear and feel the goosebumps on her neck. Reaching for her hips, I lift her onto my lap and fit my little Turtle snugly against my chest.

“I know this is scary and we’re moving fast. Hell, it’s even fast for me – and that’s normally my speed. But it just feels right with you, baby. And I’ll be back soon. All I ask is that you wait for me.”

I lift my eyebrows, waiting for her response, as her hands come up on both sides of my face and she cups one side as her fingertips trace my lips. As if she’s trying to memorize them with her touch.

“I love you, too, Zayne. And yes, of course I’ll wait for you.”

I let out a whoop and flip her over on her back, hovering over her, my cock wedging between her thighs.

We kiss and touch, the possibilities of what’s to come burning bright between us. When I finally pull back, I look down at her and ask in earnest.

  “What convinced you?”

She gives me a contemplative look, her hand sliding between us and landing on my erection. “Have you heard about post-vacation blues?”

“Um, maybe,” I prod, not sure where she’s going with this.

“Well, it happens when people return to their daily routine after a particularly memorable vacation. They get blue because they want to be back where they just returned from. The thing is, I spent my most memorable spring break vacation with you. You’re my cure for the post-vacation blues. You make me so happy, Zayne, and every day feels like a vacation with you.”

I groan when she slips under my boxers and pulls out my cock.

“You know they also say that vacation sex is the best kind of sex to have…I think we should try that theory out right now.”

  The End

  Epilogue

  Abbie - Six Months Later

“I’m done! Finally,” I exclaim with arms held high in a V over my head in exuberant glee. My entire body buzzes with relief and a sense of freedom.

Zayne steps up behind me and wraps his thick tree-branch arm around my chest and hugs me tight, his palm somehow strategically landing on my left breast.

“Congrats, baby. You are amazing and I’m so proud of you. We need to go celebrate.”

The last three months while Zayne was deployed was extremely difficult. It took me weeks to stop worrying over his whereabouts and well-being and whether he’d make it back home to me in one piece.

I never expected to fall for a Navy SEAL – especially one that could go out on secretive missions and do who knows what to who knows who in service to our country’s safety.

But it made me so proud of him, which only intensified the love and commitment I had for this man.

I lift my chin and tilt my head up to catch his gaze over my shoulder. “Oh yeah? And what did you have in mind for celebration, Captain?”

I make an effort to push my boobs up and into his palm, which he reacts to with a growl. He’s told me on more than one occasion how much it turns him on when I call him Captain. And honestly, when my man is turned on, it’s a guaranteed good time for me.

“None of that,” he admonishes lightly, wagging a finger in the air. “I have a surprise for you, but we have to get going.”

“A surprise?” I clap my hands together excitedly. “Is it your dick?”

  Zayne lets
out a loud boisterous laugh that I’ve missed so much while he’s been gone. But it only makes me want to hear it as often as I can.

“I love it when you talk dirty, Turtle. But not now. Later.”

He winks and pulls me to my feet, kissing me lightly on the cheek, filling my stomach with butterflies.

In fact, he fills me up in every aspect of my life. My body, my heart and my soul.

  Zayne

“Sea World?” she laughs as we pull into the famous San Diego amusement park. “What are we doing here?”

I take her hand as we exit the parking lot and head toward the special VIP entrance. Abbie turns to me with a quizzical look, but I just shrug and wink.

It’s then that Abbie turns her head up to glare at me. “Will you please tell me what the heck you’ve got planned?”

I pat the top of her head with a placating love tap. “I thought Turtles were patient. Just wait…”

I’d planned this surprise months ago with the help of a friend in park sales and admissions. Knowing Abbie would be graduating with her Masters’ degree in Oceanology, I thought this was the perfect place to surprise her.

“Hello, folks. Welcome to Sea World. I’m your guide, Gerardo, and we’ll be spending the next two hours on your private behind the scenes tour.”

We follow Gerardo around over the next hour as he points out the park’s intricate details and shares information related to the marine wildlife and their rescue operations. My love for Abbie swells even greater as I watch as she lights up with new details she picks up and the joy she gets when watching the sea lions, whales and other mammals swimming in their home away from home.

Finally, we get to the spot that I had specifically requested we stop for a photo.

There’s a wall of plaques next to a very large aquarium, all of donors and sponsors of Sea World’s ocean saving and clean-up efforts. On one of them, I’ve listed both our names through a donation I provided the month before.
