"When we began talking about this, I asked her if she would ease up on Johanna and just let her be, and she said she would not. She said it is 'her role' to help Johanna see the error of her ways and she would keep speaking honestly, including cautioning you about Johanna's supposed faults and sins. That's when I told her that we view her as a potential threat to Johanna, Lizzie and the new baby. When she questioned why we think this way, I asked her why she took a cricket bat to the front door of the studio. She had no real answer for that, other than to say she wanted to talk to you and Johanna. When I asked why she needed a bat, she couldn't answer that. We talked about the petition she and her group began, trying to force The Lonely Lovers to disband, and we got into the whole slut, drug addicts and violent brother issue. I told her that she could potentially face a defamation lawsuit and she scoffed at me, telling me that, if she is doing God's work, He will help her get out from under that.
"That's when I brought up the fact that, if she will not leave Johanna, you, the band and your children alone, she would need to relocate - back to the United States. Marcus, she threw a fit and tried to row with me. I wouldn't have it, though. I kept pressing her on whether she would leave you alone and she wouldn't answer yes or no. She asked why I was forcing her out of the family, and I reminded her that she, herself, was doing this with her actions. I pointed out that Lizzie is frightened of her, because of her actions against you and Johanna. I told her, again, that she has to leave the U.K. if she is not willing or able to change her viewpoint of your family. Well, the short of it is that she has agreed to do so. She and Robert will be leaving in two weeks - once they have secured movers and tickets back to the States," finishes Marcus' dad.
"Thank you, dad! I will keep the security teams in place until we know she is en route to the United States. I do expect her to come by at some point and row at me," Marcus says.
After the conversation ends and Marcus hangs up, I fall into his arms, crying with relief.
"Oh, my God, it's nearly over!" I say over and over again.
"Yes, but you are still going to be very careful and cautious as we go through Saint Albans. I don't trust her not to try and approach you. I am hoping she won't, but she will blame you, saying you're the cause of her having to leave the U.K."
The next morning, we report to my parents what Andrew and Millie talked about.
"So she and her husband are leaving by the middle of September? And it will be over?" mum asks in confirmation.
"Yes, but we will still need to be very careful. Until she is in the air, I will not draw a free breath," Marcus says.
"And my grandbaby will not have to fear her. That is the best of all! Jo, I know you had hoped to have a real sister-to-sister relationship with her, but she made it clear that would not be. I am going to offer you a little bit of advice, here. Do not allow her to control you, your career or your family life. You do what you know is best. You're young, but you have an excellent head on your shoulders. You are a wonderful mum to Lizzie, and you will be for this new baby. Oh, it's nearly over!" mum says as she serves breakfast to Lizzie.
That weekend, Marcus brings that day's edition of the Saint Albans Daily Standard to me.
"Johanna, you'll want to read this. If Millie reads it, I expect we will see or hear her at the gate, so be ready," Marcus warns me.
I take the paper from him and begin reading the story:
"Reverend Millie Smythe has been released from her posting at the Saint Albans Conservative Church of England. Smythe was hired on at the church at the beginning of June, beginning to preach from the pulpit almost immediately.
"It soon became clear where Smythe's heart lay. She quickly formed a group, consisting of members of the church, for the express purpose of furthering her conservative agenda. Smythe began telling members of this group that certain groups - lesbians, gays, transgendered, immigrants and minorities - must be defeated so that they do not allow their own agendas to overtake that of good, holy people. Smythe and her group focused on a local band, The Lonely Lovers, developing a petition for the purpose of forcing the band to break up. When asked why she wanted this group dissolved, she focused on each member of The Lonely Lovers. She alleged that two members of the group are active drug addicts; that another is violent and that the female vocalist of the band, who also happen to be her sister-in-law, is promiscuous, and that her child is not her husband's.
"In answer, The Lonely Lovers conceived of the idea of a concert given to the community. Our mayor decided this should be a concert to benefit the homeless, and The Lonely Lovers quickly agreed. On the night of the concert, held at the city green, Smythe and her group held a protest close to the stage, calling for the group's dismissal and stating that "artists are evil." Several male concert-goers formed a human chain positioning themselves in between the stage and the protesting group.
"In following weeks, it became clear just how successful the benefit concert was. Concert receipts were counted, with the final total coming in at over 15,000 pounds. This means that the homeless will have blankets, jackets, gloves, hats and mittens. These items are being bought; if any funds remain, these will be deposited into a special interest-bearing account, for the future needs of the homeless.
"As for the actions and behaviors of the protest group, Saint Albans residents have overwhelmingly spoken out in favor of The Lonely Lovers and against this protest group. Typical remarks run as follows:
"I believe this protest group need to come into the present day. Not every person living in the U.K. is heterosexual, white and a resident of the country. Gays and lesbians don't endanger us - intolerance does."
"This protest group can go hang, far as I am concerned. The Lonely Lovers played beautiful music tonight, don't you think?"
"I don't see the point of their protest, other than to try and ruin the music this band performed for us tonight. Reverend Smythe is a very bigoted, narrow-minded...well, what she is can't be printed in your paper."
"Wow! Oh, God, she's about to wake Lizzie from her nap," I say. I hear persistent honking just outside our back gate.
"Stay inside!" Marcus slips his arms into his jacket and runs outside. I make sure the door is securely closed and watch the unfolding scene. Our neighbors have poured out of their houses - will Millie never learn? They are angry because children are napping or doing homework before tomorrow. Marcus runs full-out to the gate and stands spread-legged in front of the gate with both hands on his hips.
I see Millie waving a copy of today's paper. Oh, so she did read the same news story! I can see why she's angry - but, really! If she would only loosen up on her viewpoint regarding minorities, she wouldn't be caught in this situation, now, would she? I stand behind the sheers covering the window in the kitchen door - I don't want Millie to catch a view of me, because she'll get even angrier.
As she argues with Marcus, the neighbors stand around her, watching. Occasionally, one or another will guffaw in disbelief. They try to reason with her. Just as she refuses to listen to Marcus, her dad or the vicar, she refuses to listen to them.
I squint slightly, trying to see her expression a little more clearly. I see an expression of superiority and boredom covering her face. No. She's not listening. She's refusing to take anything in. I guess she's bound for the U.S., after all.
Finally, Marcus gets her attention, but he has to yell to do so. I clearly her him shouting, "OY!" I cringe, hoping this won't wake Lizzie up.
Millie jumps when she hears Marcus' raised voice. Now that she's listening, Marcus takes full advantage of this. I see his arms waving around as he paces to and fro. I am going to have to ask him what he said to her! He's very passionate. Finally, she lowers the paper and gets into her car. She leaves without further incident, so the neighbors return to their homes and Marcus comes back in.
"She still refuses to listen! I told her that, if she had just listened to dad and the vicar, she would still have her posting. If she had just left off harassing the band, you and all
these minority groups, she would still be very welcome in our family and in the U.K. That's when she stopped and left," Marcus says.
He nuzzles my neck and wraps his arms around my growing middle. Soon, he is breathing harshly and his fingers are sending me to heaven. We move to the living room.
I begin to play with Marcus' chest and with the rod in between his legs. As I feel its stiffness, I feel a welcome throbbing in my pussy. "Oh, Marcus, I can't wait! I want you - right now!"
In response, Marcus strips my long-sleeved maternity top off and licks the tops of my breasts. His trembling fingers unhook my bra so he can suckle and play with my tits, now grown larger. As he does so, his hand slides in between my legs, playing with my clit over my clothes. I feel the contact, so I open my legs, giving him easier access.
He grows impatient with the obstruction of my clothing, so he strips my pants and thong down my hips, his fingers returning to play with me.
"Ohhh, that feels so..." I lose the ability to talk as Marcus takes me to heaven and beyond. I come, my pussy contracting hard.
Marcus lifts me into his arms.
"Wait! I want to take your clothes off," I gasp.
Marcus sets me down again and frantically strips his clothing off. I look at him, licking my lips as I see his throbbing shaft standing at attention. He lifts me again so I can wrap my legs around him. Now that we are both effectively nude, I feel the tip of his cock brushing against my pussy. He strides to one wall of our living room and carefully leans me against it.
I wrap my arms around his neck, giving myself additional leverage as he impales me on his shaft.
"Ahhhh, that feels...so good!" I begin moving up and down, quickly bringing myself and Marcus to that shimmering waterfall of sexual sensation. My pussy begins to contract again as he brushes against my G-spot.
My contractions send him flying over the edge, and he growls into my ear as he comes, jetting into me.
We hold onto each other, panting heavily as we come back down to earth. Marcus lowers me to the floor again and, feeling the cold, I grab my clothing, running upstairs. I hear Marcus close behind me, so I leave the bathroom door open.
After we get cleaned up, we go back downstairs, where we relax, enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon. Life is good - Millie is on her way back to the States, where we don't have to deal with her anymore - and I have my husband, my little family, and my dream career.
