I lower my hands to dig into his ass wanting him to go faster, to thrust harder. With each thrust forward I can feel him hit me against the heat of my core, and he grips my ass as he lifts it to match each one of his thrusts making me feel him all the way to my cervix. My body begins to feel the build again and this time I can’t control it and let go, once again repeatedly screaming Matt’s name as fireworks explode behind my eyes.

I feel him thrust a couple more times inside me before throws his head back yelling, “Oh God, Abigail!” He says it so loud that I think even the neighbors might have heard.

We both lay there, trying to catch our breath, and I can feel the sweat all over our bodies, blending together. He lowers his head and kisses me again, before saying, “I told you I keep my promises.”

I smile up at him and softly laugh. This is one promise I am glad he kept. With a pleasantly amused look he asks, “Why are you laughing, beautiful?”

I bite my lip not wanting to answer, but he rolls onto his back taking me with him. Our bodies are still connected and Matt holds me to his chest with his arms, keeping them wrapped around my waist. I lower my body to him and lay my head on his shoulder, burying my face against his neck, wanting to prolong this moment.

He kisses my head and we lay in silence for a few minutes just listening to each other breath. I’m scared to speak, from fear of what will come out, but I hear Matt speak first. “I love you beautiful, and I really want to make this work.”

I sigh into Matt’s neck and then lift my head, staring into his eyes. By the way he’s looking at me right now, I know he really means it, and there’s no one else in the world I want more than him.

“I love you too, Matt,” I say, lowering my head to kiss him, “but how much do you really want?” I desperately ask.

“I want everything. I want to wake up next to you every morning. I want to fall asleep next to you, knowing that I’m going to hold you all night. I want to be there for you whenever you need me, but most of all, I want the whole world to know that you’re mine,” he declares.

My eyes tear up, but this time, instead of the hurtful tears I’m used to having when it comes to him, they’re happy tears. My body starts to slowly float up to the clouds all over again, knowing that Matthew Garcia is finally mine as well. He might not have made it a promise, but I don’t care, I’m willing to make the promise for both of us.

I feel him awaken again inside me as he starts to rock my body against his and I eventually take over, once again declaring our love to each other. Promising never to let go.

To my husband and children. Thank you for putting up with my grouchy attitude during this journey, it was a tough one, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. You stood by me during the frustration of this journey and I love you so much for that.

To my mom, Rosa, you were the one who opened my eyes to reading and I am forever grateful to you for that. You believed in me from the start, and without your words of encouragement I would have never pushed forward.

To my first official fan Marisol A. Thank you for letting me make a reader out of you, you’re one of the reasons why I will keep writing.

To Cassia Leo, for sharing your story to the world for me to read, without it I would have never found the courage to write this book.

To Christa Simpson, for being my second opinion and giving me the advice I always needed.

I have to thank my Crazies…they’re too many to name, but they know exactly who they are. You have made me smile when I needed it, laughed harder than I wish to, but most of all, been there with me through this whole process. Although they were the reasons that I didn’t make most of my deadlines on time, I still love every single one of you.

Most importantly, to my fellow Honey Badgers: George, Sarah, Jackie, Susan, and Bert. You guys helped me find my inner Abigail on every single run. You were always there to push me every mile of the way and never let me give up. Those memories will stay in my heart and mind forever.

Last, but not least, to all the betas, readers, and bloggers who took the time to read Unspoken Memories. Without you I wouldn’t have a reason to write. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
