The Chronicles of Qi

He takes Counselor Azarov to a framed painting gallery across the Cintamani and points at a scene with the Dalai Lama introducing the stone to his Buddhist students.

“Two pieces King Solomon sent to a monastery in Tibet, where the Dalai Lama used it to train the first generation of ‘Guardians’,” his father continues and points to the picture next to it, showing Muhammad, the prophet, philosopher and founder of Islam, at the gates of Mecca.

“And centuries later, Muhammad took three pieces to Mecca, where he formed the last secret circle of ‘Keepers’.”

The professor leads his son from the gallery on the left to a glass wall on the right. Behind it rests a very large woven fabric, depicting historical events of the Cintamani’s journey through time.

“From there, the gems traveled throughout history and became known as the ‘Philosopher’s Stones’, the stones which the most intelligent men in the world had sought but never found,” Professor Azarov explains further, with a satisfied smile on his face as he watches his son step closer, obviously fascinated by what he just told him and what he just saw.

The professor is glad that he is succeeding in convincing the next guardian of the Cintamani, so he just continues the history lesson which has been long overdue. He uses his fingers on the glass pane to zoom in and out of three of these handmade scenes: Alexander the Great swings his magical sword against the enemy in battle. On its grip rests a Cintamani piece, radiating frequencies that let the opponent surrender without spilling blood.

“Throughout mankind’s history, the Cintamani then became known as the ‘Agni Mani’, The Pearl of Fire, or as scientists say: the Moldavite,” Professor Azarov adds

Knights Templar kneel in front of the Circle of Shambhala banner, praying to a Cintamani piece that levitates over their secret underground altar, identical to the one at Agartha.

Heavyweights like Nikola Tesla, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and others who shaped the way the world turned out to be were all pictures with the Cintamani at one time or the other, some in the process of worship, others in the process of study. Elites from all over Europe were vested in the worship of the element which was sent from the skies and became responsible for the formation of religions, scientific groups, sects and cults. One of such was in Germany, during World War I, known as the Vril Women or the Vril Society. Just like many other occultists in the early 20th century, the Vril Women were popular Mediums and channeling specialists. They later became responsible for building the first manmade UFO of the Nazi Haunebu series while being hired by the Third Reich to protect Germany from the scheming governments of the United States of America and the United Kingdom, which were also responsible for the outbreak of World War II and the strategic political control and psychological warfare put over Germany even after the war was long over, out of fear that they could lose their world power or domination once again.

The next scene shows these Vril Women of Nazi Germany stand around the hovering Cintamani, busying themselves with equations and drawings of flying machines, earth grids and portals.

From the wall of their secret chamber hang two flags of which one is the Circle of Shambhala and the other their own banner, depicting a left black side, symbolizing the Kali Yuga (Dark Age), divided from the purple right side, representing the new Golden Age of peace and freedom by a lightning strike ‘V’ of divine intervention.

The professor and his son turn around to the last wall in that chamber. Azarov makes a right hand-move over an exotic-looking octagon device, resting on a crystalline altar, and activates a holo-projection. He swipes through the Milky Way and stops at Jupiter, with its 80 moons and numerous satellites.

“Your mother and I took you here on your 5th birthday. We made sure that the information received, would be locked inside of you, ready to be unleashed when time has come.”

  “Jupiter?” Counselor Azarov asks confused.

The Professor turns to his son and takes him by his shoulders, “You were born a ‘Guardian’ of Shambhala, my son. There is much you must learn from your teacher”.

  “My teacher?” Counselor Azarov wonders.

  “Counselor Tsung,” his father adds.

“Tsung?” his son asks again. “He’s a Guardian, too?”

Professor Azarov points to a painting behind the altar on the golden wall. It shows a man looking over the mountain range into the valley, where a river protects the white jade mountains from the outside world.

“Tsung is more than that,” Professor Azarov elucidates. “He’s the High Priest of the Circle of Shambhala and will show you all there is to know about the blessing which was delivered to our planet many eons ago and only he can guide you on this journey which you’re about to embark on because I can promise you, it won’t be an easy one.”

Counselor Azarov does a step closer and reads the words below the painting, “Like a diamond glows the light on the tower of Shambhala. She is there, her eyes never closed. In her magic mirror she sees all events of Earth. Distance does not exist for her. Her powerful light can destroy all darkness, and she may even change the karma of human beings”.

“Your Russian ancestor, Nikolai Rerikh, painted this piece.” His father resumes. “It’s the map to the gate of Shambhala. One day soon, you will have to walk that path as well.”

“But I thought these stories,” Counselor Azarov is about to questions his father when he cuts him short, “aren’t real?” the professor finishes his thought. “Shambhala has always been hidden in our dimension. It is protected by the Eight Immortals and ruled by the Queen Mother of the West.”

He points at another painting right next to it: a war on Earth, featuring humans fighting hybrids of human-reptilian descent.

“All benevolent forces shall come together to destroy the darkness. All sinners against Shambhala will perish in this very incarnation, because they have exhausted mercy.”

It finally dawns on Counselor Azarov and he sits down on an ancient Chinese chair under the painting while the mental overload of information shows its first signs of nausea.

“So, you’re preparing me for war,” he says.

“The biggest we’ve ever seen,” his father confirms with a sigh.

“And what about the other counselors?” his son keeps asking. “Do they know?”

“They will in time. But for now, this information must be kept between us,” Azarov ensures him with a calming, fatherly look in his eyes. “Don’t worry, Dimitri. Everything will turn out as it’s supposed to be.”

He lays his hand on Counselor Azarov’s shoulder and exits the room while his son takes one more minute to digest all that he had heard and learned of the past hour. If somebody else had told him all this, he would have laughed it off, but he knows his father and he isn’t one to joke about something as serious as the end of the universe.

  Section 8

General Ma’s avatar is revealed on stage, giving a little pep-speech to the cleaned and uniformed Unit 12.

“As a wise American General once said: You gonna have to be open-minded and adaptive to deal with the complexity of the world that involves so many different dynamic elements, that it’s hard to describe in sentences.”

He looks across the soldiers, “If the world of the 21st century was complex, or the world of the 22nd and 23rd, then the world of the 24th, is exponentially more so,” his avatar straightens. “You’ll be dealing with rebels, you’ll be dealing with hybrid-armies, you’ll be dealing with little Grey men, and you’ll be dealing with planetary leaders. You’ll also be dealing with politics, science, direct and indirect fire”.

He shifts his attention to Wang’s direction, “And you gonna be dealing with it all because it’s all gonna be dealt with simultaneously”.

  His eyes stay on him.

“And for that, you gonna have to be ready,” the general finishes his speech. “That’s why readiness is number one,” he relaxes his position and stands at ease.

“Unit 12, congratulations on your success
ful completion of the training, and ‘well done’ to your appointed leader: Dragon.”

The unit applauds, cheering on their success as General Ma’s avatar de-materializes and Sniper moves into their line of sight.

“Unit 12, activate your Visuals,” Counselor Azarov says. “This is Operation Longma.”

The 3D AR animation opens in front of them and an animated winged horse shape-shifts into a dragon, creating the mythical Asian Longma (龍馬) creature. The traditional Chinese characters for earth and sky are illuminated on the lush green soil and in the starry night sky.

“In Chinese mythology, the Longma was a fabled winged horse with dragon scales,” Sniper’s voice commences. “It was referred to as the ‘Dragon Horse’ and known to be a shape-shifter, symbolizing earth and sky.”

The animation dissolves and the scanned 3D holo-image of a Lyr-an pops up on stage, right next to Sniper.

“Thanks to two brave scientists who accidentally discovered a hidden imbue-chamber for revitalizing artificial life forms, while they researched Nas-ool (Lyr-an version of a Cylon) models on the island, we assume that the Lyr-ans aren’t human at all. If they ever were, they must have developed the species you see next to me, to save them from extinction.”

Another image reveals a white-shimmering fluid running through the bloodstream of the alien subject.

“Their body seems to take its energy from a white fluid. We assume it’s an artificially enhanced form of monatomic gold. Visually, these beings are indistinguishable from humans, down to the cellular level but not completely at a molecular one. They could sit right next to you, and you wouldn’t even guess you’re talking to a Skin-job, aka ‘Rep’, as in replicant. They could live among you for years and you would never be able to tell the difference. They can even intermarry and bring forth half humans with no sign of their alien DNA until it is intentionally awakened, the scariest form of sleeper cell known to mankind, an interplanetary one. Some of you might have even had your beds warmed by these aliens. I heard their sexual appetite is literarily second to none.”

Sniper closes the holo-image, “And that’s why we have come up with Operation Longma”.

  ∞∞∞

Minutes later, Sniper and Unit 12 step out of the elevator and line up in front of the sign ‘S-8’, Section 8.

“What you’re about to see and learn, can never leave these walls,” he says and looks into the round. “Operation Longma requires the highest level of clearance in the history of the SFB. So, consider yourselves royalty.”

Curiosity is written on each of their faces.

“In case you wonder, there are things the Council needs to protect and keep hidden from the general public, as there are still Rebels out there, trying their best to restore the old world order,” he explains and resumes his walk, leading the unit through a white tunnel to the gate. “Keep your Visuals activated!”

As the last in the row, Wang follows after Philipe straight into the holographic wall and moves through a full-body bio-metric scan until he sets foot on the first level of S-8, reading in holographic letters below the ceiling:

  REMOTE VIEWING

Entering the corridor, Sniper explains what’s happening in the white rooms to their left and right.

“The first level of S-8 is designed to train remote viewing skills and extend the ability of Chronesthesia,” he begins.

“Chrone...what?” Brian asks. He isn’t the smartest one when it comes to memorizing new scientific material quickly. His mind can become easily distracted and needs to hear an explanation twice before it really sticks. He’s actually more of a practitioner in general. This is one of the reasons why he made the team. His ability to catch things he sees.

Luckily enough for him, Sniper is very patient and explains further.

“Chronesthesia, also known as mental time-travel.”

“Meaning?” Aaron wants to know as their unit slowly passes by the tinted windows and stops in front of a windowpane. The room behind it is filled with holographic sketches of the Lyr-ans and what seems to be their home planet.

“It’s like watching a movie and figuring out what happens, who the actors are, and when the action occurs,” Sniper says.

A 10-year old girl finishes the drawing of Princess Dha-loo-ma from the press conference on her HGP. The picture distinguishes itself from the original image of the princess by a scar crossing her face. Wang notices the significant difference, wondering in silence to himself.

“Another process is the determination of a subjective moment of time in which the action actually takes place,” Sniper points to a boy in one of the rooms. “Look at the brain of that child.”

Wang activates a special filter on his Visuals, revealing the brain activity of the boy.

“The left hippocampus and posterior visuospatial regions are involved in past and future event constructions as neural differentiation while the right hippocampus, right frontopolar cortex and the left ventrolateral prefrontal cortex are involved in future event constructions.”

Aaron and Rahul have been infected by Brian and can’t keep up with Sniper’s scientific explanation.

“The what hippovisualtrolateral something-something campus cortex?” Aaron talks to himself, realizing just now that he needs to put his A-game on if he wants to make a good impression and stay on the unit. It suddenly dawns on him that this might be another test to define who’s smart and who isn’t. Something, that Aaron had to struggle with all too often at the academy when he ran into problems memorizing complex vocabulary. He’s always been more of a philosophical and very logical mind.

“I feel you dude. Totally spaced out.” Rahul adds. In contrast to Brian and Aaron his brain only begins to sweat when medical or biological terms are thrown at him. But when it comes to applied physics, chemistry, math and AI subjects, he’s usually on top of his class and wows everyone with his extraordinary genius.

Jodie, however, bugs another question, “But why only children?”.

She’s more of a ‘brainy’ and likes to question things when others wouldn’t even dare to challenge an authority. It makes her seem arrogant at times and cold but ensures Jodie highest respect among the opposite sex, wherefore she uses her intelligence also as shield.

“Their brain structure is able to extend and develop more rapidly without suffering from seizures,” Sniper answers. “We also find that they have a willingness to unlock hidden abilities faster.”

They resume their walk while he continues, “Every year we search for parents with young volunteers to help us with these studies.”

Sniper abruptly turns around to Jodie who suddenly seems to be unsure whether she should trust his words or not.

“They are here of their own free will. It’s an honor for these kids and their parents to contribute to mankind’s evolution. They stay to foster their skills and master their hidden abilities,” he ensures her. He isn’t too sure, but he knows he has to assuage his team of proper conduct. The only way they even have a slim chance at surviving this mission is if they work together.

Unit 12 has reached the exit and enters Level 2, reading in holographic letters above the floor:

  SPINNING

The setting in this large hall-room appears to be something that reminds of the ancient astronaut’s force field machine.

The soldiers line up on the bridge behind the tinted windows and observe the event in the center of the room.

“Spinning, or OBE,” Sniper commences his next introduction and instinctively looks over to Brian, answering his unspoken question.

“Out-of-body experience,” he explains and directs their attention to a 14-year-old teenage boy lying on his back on a tabletop-like device, similar to a rotating playground roundabout, his ankles secured by holographic cuffs. The device spins him clockwise at approximately 33rpm.

Wang’s Visuals detect that the teenager’s astral body is leaving his physical one and projects itself above him; levitating in midair.

  “It
’s an ancient practice that uses the dissociation of the mind to access the astral plane,” Sniper says.

Unit 12 enter Level 3, reading in holographic letters above their heads:

  ARV

  (associative remote viewing)

The unit observes a ginger-hair teenage girl sitting in a futuristic spacecraft chair, surrounded by three sets of coils arranged in a pyramid.

“This device is one of the latest models of the ancient Montauk chair which was once reverse-engineered from the pilot seat of a crashed ET craft,” Sniper begins, while Wang zooms closer on another coil around the top of the pyramid, paralleling the base coil, as well as some crystal-shaped stone-receivers, six channels, and a holo-screen displaying what the girl sees with her mind.

An XXL holo-screen on a nearby wall shows the teenage girl as she maneuvers her spacecraft through an asteroid belt. She does so with smooth precision, suggesting that she’d done the test a time or two.

“As you will notice, the girl has trained her mind to control the virtual spacecraft,” Sniper goes on. “The magnetic transduction boosts her consciousness forward in time, so that she’s pre-experiencing a momentum in her subjective future.”

Piloted by the girl’s mind, the craft catches up on the possibility to collide with an object and immediately changes course, leaving the asteroids behind.

“She’s able to see a collision before it happens and obtain a certain kind of information about the future,” Sniper finishes his sentence and leads his soldiers to the exit.

Unit 12 enters Level 4, reading in holographic letters above the floor:

  TELEPORTER

Wang looks over to the center of this large hall-room and watches how various laboratory containers vanish right from the middle of the coil-based teleportation pyramid.

“The Teleporter,” Sniper commences in his usual fashion. “It opens a tunnel in spacetime through which objects can pass from point A to B by ‘Pyragates’. It’s another of Tesla’s inventions using radiant energy.”
