Bound by Blood Box Set Page 26

“Hey, now,” I said grabbing her hand to stop her, but weakening when her fingernails caressed slowly back up over my stomach making my breath catch.

“I want you,” she moaned, almost pleading, as her hand moved back down and unbuttoned and unzipped my jeans. I was too weak to stop her again. Her hand slid down and grabbed my erection, working me up and down. Oh God, and she was still naked from when she’d climbed on me hours ago.

“Do you want me?” she asked softly, knowing damn well I physically did, but afraid I was going to reject her again.

“Hell yes,” I moaned, as I grabbed her hand to move it faster. While I was distracted by her hand she started kissing my stomach, working her way lower, down to my hips then licking down the line of one of my pelvic muscles. I wanted to feel her mouth on me so damn bad.

“Please,” I begged her, and then her mouth was covering me, her lips and tongue sliding up and down my growing length. My hips were thrusting up to her mouth, wanting her to take me deeper. I knew why she was doing this. Just like before, she felt like she had to make up for the anger. I didn’t want it to be so one-sided, but it felt so damn good I was coming apart.

I raised up and grabbed her waist, pulling the lower half of her body around until her legs were spread above my head. Her mouth was still around my dick when I plunged my tongue up into her. Her head came up as she gasped and moaned.

“Sam, wait, the bleeding. Oh!” she tried to protest before she screamed as I sucked and lapped at her center, reminding her what I was. Her mouth went back around me, sucking me harder, and her hips started thrusting frantically back toward my tongue.

“Oh fuck! Kate stop!” I warned her but she only increased her pressure until I came down her throat, thrashing as wave after wave of ecstasy racked my body while I kept my mouth on her. My hands were grabbing her hips, pulling her to me and holding her in place as my tongue swirled and thrust into her, until her legs stiffened and she came screaming.

Before she could recover I’d lifted her forward and to the side of me so I could climb up behind her. I knew I had to be careful with her because my anger and jealousy was still on the surface, just like the other night. Instead of breaking things, sex was now my release.

I ran my hands up and down Kate’s neck and back, then over the incredible swells of her ass. I spread her legs wider before I grabbed her hips and pulled them back while thrusting quickly into her. She cried out as I slid as deep as I could go, but I knew damn well it wasn’t from pain. She was still riding the waves of the orgasm and with each of my thrusts she was getting louder from the pressure that continued to grow, so loud the rooms around us could probably hear her.

My fangs had descended when my mouth had been on her and I couldn’t stop myself from leaning against her back and striking her neck when my own climax exploded out of me again. I sucked and moaned as I poured into her, needing to possess her any way and every way I could.

Done and calling it a day, I pierced my tongue and licked her neck to close the punctures. Then lowered myself to the side of her so I wouldn’t crush her into the bed. Even though I was almost certain it had been pleasure and not pain, I still had to ask. After it was all over I also felt bad for biting her without asking her first.

“I’m sorry,” I panted. “I should have asked you before I drank from you. Are you okay?”

“Hell yes,” was her winded response, making me laugh. “I didn’t mind at all. I think you outdid yourself. That was … wow!”

“I thought you might need the reminder that I’m a vampire.”

She thought about it for a minute before she got it. “Oh. I didn’t think about that. So earlier you wanted to?”

“I know it may seem gross to you but baby, but I love going down on you and the only thing that tastes better than you is your blood and you at the same damn time. Shit, see, my fangs are down and my dick’s hard again just thinking about it.”

“Oh, okay. Well then why don’t you climb back up on me again? Seriously, why do we use all the other positions when there’s that one?” she asked, still panting on her stomach.

“Oh, because sometimes I actually like to see your beautiful face,” I told her as I pushed her now wild blonde hair out of her eyes.

“You see my face all the time, and that way feels so fucking good,” she joked.

“Fine, I guess I’ll just have to get used to seeing your ass more,” I said smiling as I swatted her butt cheek with my hand and climbed up behind her. “I’ll fuck you one more time but then we’re going to go take a shower and finally order some food.”

  “Deal.”

I pulled her hips up and filled her again. “How rough do you want it?” I asked her as I started moving.

“So rough, oh, that you have to carry me to the shower, oh God, and hold me up during,” she moaned.

“Oh hell yes,” I told her and I happily obliged her request.

  Chapter Thirty-Seven

“After we eat I want you in that big ass tub with me,” Kate told me as we redressed, and I picked up the phone to order room service.

“I’ll tell them to hurry the fuck up. Do you like steak?” I asked her while it rang.

“Yeah sure, but I could eat anything,” she rubbed her stomach and I thought I could hear it growl again as she made a face.

“Hey, I’m in room 240. Can we get two steaks well-done, salads, baked potatoes and whatever dessert you have? Great, thanks.”

“Okay, they said it’ll be about thirty minutes. Shit, I should’ve feed you sooner. I’m sorry,” I told Kate as she came and sat beside me on the bed.

“After we eat and I get some sleep I’ll go find us some new clothes and pajamas and all,” I told her. “Until then we can just stay naked, well, after the food comes.”

Kate was sitting with her legs crossed on the bed flipping channels on the TV, and frowning as she held her stomach.

  “Are you alright?”

“Yeah,” she said finally taking her eyes off the TV and meeting mine. “Just hungry and feel a little sick for going so long without eating.”

Sick? Oh shit. Now I felt sick. I prayed that after she had something to eat she’d feel better. The test was negative.

Then I noticed what she was watching on TV – the news. We watched for a while but didn’t see any updates.

Finally there was a knock at the door. “I’ve got it, you stay out of sight okay?”

I went to the door and stopped the bellhop before he came all the way in. “Thanks, I’ll take it from here,” I told him as I palmed him his tip.

Damn it smelled good. With all the distractions I hadn’t even realized I was starving. I sat everything out on the dining table and then we sat across from each other and ate in silence. Watching Kate eat made me feel bad that I hadn’t fed her something sooner. At least she was eating most of the steak.

“The steak will help raise your iron,” I told her, and couldn’t help glancing at her neck, remembering how good it had felt drinking from her while being in her.

“Oh, yeah, sure,” she responded with a smile. “So how often do you need blood? Will you just drink from me because I don’t mind?” she asked.

“I can’t, Kate. I’ve drank from you three times in just a few days. I don’t want to make you anemic.”

“Oh,” she said frowning. “So who will you drink from?” she asked looking away from me.

Dammit, I hated this. I knew she was thinking about the last time when I’d gone to the strip club. I leaned over across the table and gently grabbed her face, tilting it up to me. “Don’t worry. I’ll find a blood bank. I don’t mind breaking in one here after hours. I’ll only drink from someone if that doesn’t work. Okay?”

She nodded and relaxed. I stretched the rest of the way across the table and pressed my lips to hers.

“I swear to you that will never happen again.”

“Good, because I don’t think I could handle that again.”

  After we finished ea
ting and were almost too full to move we went back to watch the news in bed. After a while the story finally popped up.

“Three days after the attack on a D.R.A. transport vehicle, three of the four agents have died as a result of their injuries. The suspects, Agent Thomas Adams and his daughter Kate Elizabeth Adams are still missing, along with the escaped vampire, Samuel West. The government has asked that anyone with information regarding their whereabouts call their local law enforcement immediately. The suspects are thought to be heading south, possibly toward the Mexican border but no other information regarding their vehicle make or model is available at this time.”

“Damn right, I don’t even know what vehicle we’re in at the moment,” I said to the TV.

“But they know where we are,” Kate said concerned.

“Do you know how big the Mexican/American border is? It’ll take weeks for them to find us and we’ll be living in Mexico before they do.”

“I hope you’re right. At least they haven’t said anything about me being a witch. Probably too damn embarrassed they hadn’t realized it before,” she said as she curled up to me and laid her head on my chest. I couldn’t help but run my hands through her now blonde hair.

“So do blondes have more fun?” I asked her to lighten the mood.

“I don’t know, do they?” she asked with a smile.

“I can’t get enough of you, but that was how I felt before.”

“So are ready for that bath yet?”

I grabbed her hand and ran it up and down the length of my erection through my jeans.

“Does it feel like I’m ready?” I asked her.

Then she did me one better when she unzipped my jeans and grabbed on.

“I want you in that tub before I let you sleep tonight.”

“Yes, ma’am,” I closed my eyes and moaned as she continued to work me.

She laughed and then climbed off of me. “I’ll start filling up the tub,” she said as she headed toward the bathroom. That woman was going to be the death of me.

  Chapter Thirty-Eight

  Kate

Even though I’d slept for hours, my body was already exhausted again. I’d straddled Sam in the Jacuzzi tub and rode him while the water and bubbles slushed out around us. I couldn’t get enough of him but, now my body was ready to pass out for the night.

Sam said he couldn’t stay awake any longer, and soon after I fell asleep laying on his chest and rubbing his stomach.

I had no idea how long we laid there asleep, and the curtains in the room were heavy, but I was pretty sure it was around midday when I finally started waking up.

Sam slept several more hours after I got up and took a shower. I sat on the bed just flipping through channels. When he finally woke up he said he couldn’t wear the same clothes any longer, and since it was getting dark outside, decided to head to the store.

“Joselin should’ve sent some money by now, so I’ll go pick that up, find us some new clothes, then try and find a blood bank. Lock up behind me and don’t let anyone in, and call me if you need me.”

“I love you,” I told me as I stood on my tippy toes to kiss him bye.

“I love you, too. I won’t be gone long.”

I was so bored while Sam was gone, and couldn’t turn off the news channels. There weren’t any updates, just the same old thing. I hated seeing my picture as a wanted fugitive. My conscience was finally catching up with me too. Thinking about the three men my dad had killed for us made me feel ill. They had chosen their profession, but I still felt bad as I thought about the families they left behind.

Finally, Sam was back, knocking on the door. I jumped up to let him in and was so happy to see him standing there, his hands full of bags.

“Got us some clothes and some pajamas,” he said.

  “Did you find any blood?”

“Yeah, the blood bank was not far from here and they didn’t have any alarms. I mean who would steal blood, right?”

“Good,” I said with relief. I really didn’t want him to drink from someone else.

“I grabbed six bags so I should be good to go for about three weeks if I stop skipping meals and sleep. Which reminds me, I need to put them in the fridge,” he said as he pulled them from the grocery bag.

“How about we order some dinner, and after we eat I’ll take you how you like it best?” he said with a smile.

“Hell yes,” I told him, unable to stop my grin.

The next three days were nothing but being wrapped in Sam’s arm and making love so many different ways and times that I lost count. The “Do Not Disturb” sign had been on our door so long that the housekeeping staff was probably getting worried about us.

Sam even remembered when my birthday came. He went out and bought me a cake and flowers. My birthday felt depressing now that I knew my mother had died the day I was born. At least now I knew her name, and that my dad loved her.

I was sad to leave the hotel on our last day, but Sam had found us new IDs, and with Joselin’s help he’d bought a car and even found us a place to stay in Mexico. It seemed like everything was finally settling down and maybe we were really safe now. Although, I still had no idea where my dad was, or if he was okay.

“You ready?” Sam asked when he came back up to the room and it was time to check out.

“Yeah, but I’ll miss this place,” I told him honestly.

“Me too,” he said as he grabbed my hand, kissing my knuckles, before leading me down the stairs and to the parking lot.

“So you haven’t told me what kind of car you bought.”

“You’ll see, and thank God for no more rentals,” he said with a smile. I agreed. If we had kept stealing cars someone would have caught us eventually.

We walked through the parking lot to a small red convertible. It was a Mazda Miata, just like mine had been, except red instead of black. I couldn’t help my smile.

“This is great. Thank you,” I told him as I leaned against his chest to give him a kiss.

“I hate you had to give up everything for me and wanted you to have something back to normal.”

“Sam, I didn’t give up anything. I’d trade my old life for you again in a heartbeat,” I told him with a smile.

“Really? I know you’re worried about your dad, and you had to give up school and just being a regular college freshman. Shit, you can’t even walk outside until we get out of this country.”

“I don’t care. Yes, I worry about my dad, but he made his own choices. I thought I’d lost you and I’ll do whatever it takes to be with you.”

“I love you,” he smiled and kissed me again. “Now let’s go home.”

  “Home?” I asked him.

“Yes, home. We found a permanent place I hope you’ll like.”

Two and a half hours later we’d made it safely through customs. I almost hyperventilated before it was done and over, then we drove straight to what would be our new house. It was small but nice. It seemed to be in a less populated neighborhood too.

“What do you think? I haven’t even seen the pictures of it, but I trust Joselin,” Sam asked.

I looked up at the blue one story ranch house with white trim. There was a short sidewalk leading up the three small steps to the covered porch. It had a nice sized yard with dark green grass and a rainbow of flowers lining the sidewalk and porch.

“I love it,” I told him.

“Come on,” he said taking my hand. “Let’s hope the inside is as nice as the outside.”

It was. There were nice new hardwood floors throughout, except in the bathrooms. There was even some furniture, a couch and TV in the living room, a big king sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen sized bed in the spare bedroom. There were two large bathrooms, one in the master bedroom and one in the hallway. The kitchen had a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Even the laundry room had a washer and dryer ready to go. All the basics were covered.

“This is perfect,” I told Sam as I threw my arms around
him. It was so nice to finally relax and just be happy with him after everything we’d been through. I never imagined I’d end up here, sharing a life with him when we met just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately my relaxed and happy mood only lasted a few more days.

  Chapter Thirty-Nine

About a week after we’d moved into the house I woke up early one morning, not feeling quite right. Suddenly I was running to the bathroom, just making it to the toilet in time.

I threw up everything I’d had to eat the night before, then heaved for a while even though there was nothing left in my stomach. What the fuck? What did I have for dinner? Pizza, so it couldn’t have been that. And then a horrible thought hit me. Morning sickness? Nope, couldn’t be. The test was negative.

I cleaned up and washed away the tears with a wash cloth, then brushed my teeth twice, before cleaning up the bathroom. I didn’t want Sam to know I’d been sick. It would only worry him, and it was probably just a stomach flu or my body getting used to the water in Mexico.

I crept back into the bedroom, and thankfully he was still where I’d left him, sound asleep. I let out the breath I’d been holding then climbed back under the covers, wrapping my arm over his stomach. I couldn’t go back to sleep because I was still trying to figure why I’d been sick, and wondering if there could be something more to it.

The next two mornings were repeats of sickness. Three days in a row, only in the morning, but I was also feeling nauseous throughout the day.

I still hadn’t told Sam, and made sure to clean up after each time. He’d been in and out of the house during the days, buying things we needed for the house and looking for a job.

This morning we were heading out early to spend a day together at the beach. After we loaded up the car, Sam leaned me against the passenger door to kiss me, then froze.

“Kate, are you okay?” he asked suddenly.

  “Yeah, of course.”

“Have you been sick?” he asked as his eyes glared into mine. Fuck! I’d brushed my teeth twice. How could he tell? Although, my throat was still burning from all the acid. It felt like it was getting worse every morning.
