Ryan got to the job site he had seen the police car from the road. It was up near the house in progress. “I’m Mr. Rivers. I can see they messed up quite a bit here at this site. He had not known there were any in the area not in his pack let alone one that was a cop.
“Hello, I am Officer Benson and this is Officer Michaels. From what we can tell so far the damage is isolated to this location we had other officers going around the other sites now to check. They will be sending a report back to our computer unless they find the perpetrator.” Turning to Michaels he said, “Why don’t you go back to the car and check the report ins so we know if we need to visit any other sites with the boss here tonight.”
Once the other man left he turned back to Ryan and said, “Sorry I have not reported my presence to your pack yet no one in the department knows. I just transferred in and other than my partner am low man on the pole so have been pulling all the overtime then pretty much going home and crashing. This is my third double in a row and I have only been here a week. I will make time soon.” Then they heard the other officer coming up towards them.
“Reports all verify this is the only site affected. Did someone from this jobsite have a problem with how things are going?” asked Michaels.
“Nothing that should cause this kind of trouble, the crew are good people. We have no trouble makers in our current crews I make sure of it. Our employees have a right to feel safe and I uphold to that policy and am careful in who I hire. I can’t see anyone doing something like this.” Ryan said.
He could see Benson hear the half-truths but kept shut knowing how pack handled their own businesses. “Okay, we will write this up and send you a copy of the report for your insurance.”

Chapter 22 The Office
Ryan and Seth walked through the front door of the office hand in hand smiling and saying their good mornings to the ladies as they went to split their separate ways.

“Well about planning our mating ceremony I have never been to one or seen one.” Seth said but before he even had it out all the way June had gasped and Galen had dropped his briefcase and jumped on him almost knocking him over.

Chapter 23 Ryan’s Office
Ryan was happy to escape the planning crew for the ceremony and glad his mate was feeling more at home in the pack. They needed to have more pack events to get the newer members integrated. They had gotten a lot of new members lately. As he said this Nathan came in and plopped not so gently in the chair in front of his desk setting his boots on the top of his desk. He needed to talk to the brothers about the house too.
“Seriously that is my desk brother, get your feet off. How did you escape the mob out front?” Ryan teased

Then left the office to get to it. They left to go to the conference room.
Chapter 24 Galen’s Department
Seth went and sat at the big open table for looking at the blueprints and layouts and all other design work they did. Galen came up behind him and asked if he was okay so he said he had a couple questions. Since no one else was in the office he didn’t think it would hurt to be open now. He asked about heats and such then when Galen turned and looked at him sensing his nervousness he came and sat next to him. Looked at him and said, “What are you trying to say without saying Seth?”
