Just Give In

That had her smiling. God, he was such a good guy, so thoughtful and compassionate.
The feeling of someone standing behind her, the feeling of that awareness that she was being watched, had Lena turning around on her bed and staring at Rory. She felt her eyes widen, felt her heart start to pick up pace. Standing, feeling like she was in this surreal moment, she wanted to move toward him, but found herself rooted to the spot.
“Rory?”
“Hey, baby,” he said softly and smiled, although it didn’t reach his eyes. He walked into the room, and before she knew what was happening he had her in his arms and just held her. They stood like that for what seemed like forever, but she was okay with that. She felt the love she had for him consume her, felt his love for her seep into her, and didn’t want this moment to end. Crying was right there at the surface, but it wasn’t just the sadness that took control, but also because she was so happy to have him here.
“What are you doing here?” she asked and leaned back to look up into his face. “What about your job? Did they let you leave, or did you just walk out?” She had a feeling it was the latter.
“I couldn’t let you go through this alone, baby.” He cupped the back of her head and leaned down to kiss her. “I tried to do the right thing, the right way with the foreman. I told him it was a family emergency, but he flat out said if I left I couldn’t come back, and I wouldn’t be able to get any work with them down the road.”
She felt despair and sadness fill her over that. “Rory, you shouldn’t have left. I am okay, would have been okay.”
He shook his head. “I couldn’t let you do this alone, Lena. I would have walked through fire to come back to you.” He smoothed her hair off her forehead and smiled down at her, sadness in his eyes. “You’ll go to college, do so damn well because you’re smart as hell. I’ll find work wherever you’re at, provide for us so you can focus on school.”
She was going to cry. God, was she going to cry. How in the hell had she gotten a man so loving and compassionate? Her heart swelled with so much emotion it felt like it would burst.
“You’re feeling okay, medically I mean?”
She nodded and rested her head on his chest. “I’m much better now.”
“What did the doctor say? You’ll be okay?” he asked again, and she smiled at the fact he sounded so worried, and loved her so much.
“I’ll be fine.” She’d had to go back to the doctor for a follow up and to make sure things had cleared up with … everything, but she was good now, more than good because she had Rory here with her. But she needed to tell him about her thinking about the abortion, because he deserved to know everything.
Pulling back and sitting on the edge of the bed, Rory stared down at her. She breathed in slowly, and exhaled just as slowly. “I found out I was pregnant and then went to have an abortion, Rory.”
He didn’t respond right away, didn’t show any emotion on his face either. He just gave her love. She felt it seep into her, surround her … consume her.
“And as I sat in that waiting room and stared at all the young girls getting ready to erase what they thought was a mistake, something that would be with them for the rest of their lives, I knew I couldn’t go through this.”
“Baby—”
She shook her head. “I should have told you, should have talked to you. It wasn’t right to try to make that decision without you. You’re not just some guy, but the guy I love, the one I want to be with forever.”
He smiled and cupped her cheek. “I love you, too, baby.”
She looked out the window again, knowing that as time passed this would be a little bump in the road of life, that with time she’d heal. As it was it felt like she lost something so big, lost something she didn’t really know she’d wanted so badly until it had been there, right there for her. She had so many things she still wanted to do, so many things she had planned.
The saying “things happen for a reason” had never felt truer than it had the last few days, but she was glad she had the support of her parents and of Rory here. Having them meant more than she’d ever be able to express in words, and she was so thankful she didn’t have to go through this alone.

Rory stared at Lena, let what she’d said fill him, and he only felt love for her. “You did what you thought you had to do, and although I’m glad you didn’t have an abortion, and wish you would have told me about the pregnancy, the circumstances that happened during that time made things hectic and confusing, Lena.” He pulled her into his arms, onto his lap, and just held her. “I love you, baby, and although I’ll never fully understand what you had to go through during the time, because that was a hell all in itself, I want you to know I’m here for you. Always.”
“I love you.”
“And I’ll always love you, Lena. I will always be there for you.” He pulled back and stared down at her face. “I love you, more than anything in this world, and we’ll get through this together, baby.”
She smiled, and a tear slid down her cheek. He ran his thumb under her eye, collected the droplet, and wiped it away.
“God, I love you, Lena. Always.”
“I love you, too, Rory.”
He held her tightly again, kissed the top of her head, and stared out the bedroom window. He didn’t know what their future held, and this might be one of the hardest things they’d ever go through, but if they could get through this they could get through anything, as long as they were together. And Rory wasn’t going to leave Lena, not ever. She was it for him.
Lena was the woman he’d die for, kill for. She was the reason he breathed, and he’d make sure they got through this, because if he couldn’t comfort and be there for the woman he loved, then what was he good for?
Chapter Twelve
Two years later
Lena was in her second year at college, doing well with her grades, and trying not to get distracted at the fact every time she came home it was to see Rory waiting for her. Even that thought had her smiling. After all the shit they went through, him going to Colorado, and then coming back after she lost the baby, they’d gotten closer, their relationship even more engrained, stronger. Lena didn’t know if she’d believed in soul mates or if she hadn’t, but that changed when she’d gotten with Rory. And when things had gotten hard over these last few years, things just clicked for her that this man was the only person she’d ever love. He was it for her, Lena’s world, her other half, and not having him in her life was too unbearable to even think about.
She grabbed the shopping bags out of the back of her car, shut the door with her foot, and headed up the slightly cracked driveway of the home she lived in with Rory. The house they rented was only twenty minutes from the university, and less than that from the garage Rory managed. He might have left Colorado only months into the project, losing the chance to have a secured job with that company, but he’d left for her, and she would have done the same for him.
And here they were now, two years later, living together, loving each other even more with each passing day, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. At first it had been hard for him to find good work when they’d moved in together, but they’d made it work, and then he’d gotten a good job, one that had provided for both of them. True to his word, he worked and she focused on school. They were a team, and always would be.
Of course they had their differences, fought even, but at the end of the day they still loved each other, were there for each other, and wasn’t that what really mattered?
She juggled the keys and the two plastic bags of groceries as she tried to unlock the front door. Cursing loud enough she was sure the neighbors, a young couple expecting their first baby, heard, she finally managed to open the door and push it open with her foot.
When she stepped inside she saw Rory coming out of the spare bedroom in nothing but a pair of running shoes, track shorts, and headphones in his ears. His upper body was covered in sweat, glistening, and his muscles stood ou
t in powerful, sharp contrast.
He was busy messing with his phone, and she took that moment to stare at him, to really look at him after his workout. His chest glistened with sweat, and the few tattoos he had flexed and relaxed as he moved his body closer to her, his focus still on his phone. This sigh left her on its own at the power he displayed, and the strength that made her feel all feminine.
She thought she’d known everything there was to know about Rory being with him for three years, but since living with him she’d realized there had been so much that she’d been blind to. He hated coffee, preferred water over soda, and he liked sour treats, often forgoing chocolate when she brought it home. He also left the toilet seat up constantly, didn’t like to put his clothes in the hamper, and instead usually tossed them right beside it on the floor.
She smiled at the annoying things he did, things she only found out about because they were living together, but they were things she’d grown to love about him. After the miscarriage she’d become closer to her parents, her mother especially. Even now she remembered the way her mother had held her as the doctor told her she’d lost her baby. Her parents hadn’t been upset about her being pregnant, and maybe it was because she had lost her unborn child, or maybe she’d never given them a chance to show them they loved her no matter what, that they’d be there for her no matter what.
After that moment, after losing their child, Rory and Lena took precautions, didn’t take any chances of her becoming pregnant again, at least not until they were both ready. She’d seen specialists after the miscarriage, making sure there wasn’t anything wrong with her when she wanted to have children in the future. And she did. Lena wanted several children, and she wanted Rory to be the father. After she’d gotten confirmation that she shouldn’t have any trouble having children, that sometimes women had miscarriages and there was just no medical reason they could find, Lena had gotten on birth control.
Rory’s father Brian was still the lowlife piece of shit he’d always been, but he was alone now, not able to take out his anger, negative energy, or worthless attitude on Rory any longer.
And the longer she stood there and stared at him, the more she grew warm, heated, and her love for him took over. God, she loved him, and she didn’t think she could love him any more than she did, but with each passing day she was proving herself wrong.
He slowly lifted his head, his ear buds still in, his phone still in his hand. But the longer they stared at each other, the more the room grew heated, the sexual chemistry that was always between them moving back and forth, always strong, continuously growing, the more she just wanted to be with Rory. He walked toward her, this intense look on his face.
She set the two bags on the floor, licked her lips, and slowly moved a step back, playing the game, being the prey to his predator. “You’re all sweaty,” she stated without making it a question, her libido so heightened she wanted to scream at how much she wanted him.
He took a predatory step toward her. “I am, but you and I both know that gets you off.”
Yeah, she did love when he was all sweaty. As it was, she was wet between her thighs, ready for him.
He took another step toward her, and his body heat slammed into her. “I bet you’re wet between your thighs right now, aren’t you?” He lifted a hand and smoothed his finger along her cheek. “I bet your pussy is all nice and juicy.”
Maybe it was seeing his body all flushed, wet and hard from his workout, or maybe knowing he had an abundance of adrenaline and testosterone pumping through his veins right now, was the reason she got so turned on.
Who are you kidding? You get wet for Rory because it’s Rory.
“Maybe you should take a shower first,” she said, her voice sounding breathless, but then again she couldn’t suck enough air into her lungs. Really though, she didn’t care that he was sweaty, and in fact wanted to get just as sweaty as he was … with him. Him all glossy, all wet for her, all pumped from his workout was the good, clean kind of sweat, the delicious kind of dirty.
“Like I said…” He leaned in another inch. “You love me like this.” He whispered so close to her mouth she felt it all the way to her pussy. Her clit tingled, pulsed like her heart was stationed there. He inhaled deeply, and then opened his mouth slightly and dragged his tongue along the swell of her bottom lip. While licking at her lips he slid his hand behind her to cup her ass.
“You want me to fuck you right now?”
She couldn’t answer, couldn’t even breathe for that matter. But she lifted her hands to grip his shoulders, and forced herself to nod. She could go from cold to hot for Rory instantly. She was going to have some control right now, and so she pushed him back, but only enough to grab his hand and start pulling him toward the bedroom.
Their house was small, but it was perfect for them. With two bedrooms, one that they slept in and the other used as a workout place for Rory, and a room where she had her computer and could study, it gave them the personal space they needed as well.
Although she wished Rory would consider applying to college again, because she knew how smart he was, she was glad he was happy in his life, and what he was doing. She knew that if he wanted to go to college, try to get in after all these years, it was an option that was always open.
Once they were in the room she closed the door and pressed her body to his. He was warm, hard, and the scent of his clean sweat filled her head, made her feel drunk.
Lena wrapped her arms around his waist, pressed her breasts to his chest, and rose on her toes to kiss him. “I love you,” she said against his mouth.
He groaned and cupped her ass in his big hands. Rory started moving his hands back up her body, grabbed the hem of her shirt, and lifted it off of her. He made quick movements to take off her bra, and then went for his shorts. She got her pants and underwear off, and when they were naked she pressed her body to his again.
He started kissing the side of her throat, and she closed her eyes and let her head fall back. Her body felt like it was inflamed, like she was being consumed by his touch. He kissed a path of fire down the side of her face and to her throat. Rory had his hands on her ass again, squeezed the mounds, spread them slightly as he continued to lick and suck at her flesh, and then slipped his finger between the cheeks. She moaned when he touched her asshole, fingering the tight little hole until she rose on her toes from the pleasure. He didn’t penetrate her, not really, just continued to gently apply pressure, a very small amount of the digit slipping into her ass.
Feeling that control come back up on her, she pushed him away again and dropped to her knees. Staring up at him, she licked her lips, feeling her mouth water for the taste of him. He was thick and long, and when she grabbed the base of his cock and started stroking him from root to tip, she loved that the tendons in his neck stood out as he strained.
Opening her mouth and sucking on the head of his cock, she loved the salty flavor of his pre-cum, loved that he grabbed her behind the back of the head, and tangled his hands in her hair. He jerked her head forward, making another inch of his dick slide into her.
She started sucking his cock, jerking him off with her mouth and hand, and felt the little jets of his cum fill her mouth. He groaned and grunted above her, jerked in her mouth, tightened his hold in her hair until the pain spiked with her pleasure, and she sucked harder on him. He was watching her mouth, his lips parted slightly, his eyes at half-mast.
“That’s so fucking hot, Lena.” And just when she thought he’d come he hauled her up, slanted his mouth on hers, and kissed her like he owned her.
He does own you.
He walked her backward until the door greeted her back. It was hard, cold, but Rory’s body heated hers. He stroked his tongue over hers, his fingers between her thighs, touching her, having her close to having an orgasm. And then he slipped those digits in her pussy, fucked her with them, all while he probed her mouth with his tongue.
He murmured against her damp lips, “Does that feel good, b
aby?”
“You know it does. It always feels good when I’m with you.”
He played her body like a man that knew exactly what buttons to push to make her get off. Over and over he pumped his fingers into her pussy, making it wetter, more sensitive. Rory moved his thumb along her clit, rubbed the nub back and forth, in small but quick circles, and had her moaning like a banshee. She curled her nails into his shoulders and closed her eyes as ecstasy washed through her. He bit down on her lip hard enough it hurt, but then soothed the sting away with his tongue.
And then she came.
Never once did he stop pumping those long, thick digits into her clenching body, not until her high dissipated and she was left standing there wilted and grasping for reality. He pulled his fingers from her and brought the glossy digits up, and wiped them along her lips. And then he leaned in and kissed her, licked that glossiness away.
Without saying anything, Rory looked at her with this intent, dominating gaze, gripped her behind her thighs, right under her ass cheeks, and lifted her off the ground. She wrapped her arms around his neck tighter, curled her legs around his lean hips, and kissed him again.
Their kiss was hard and demanding, filled with so much heat and arousal she tasted it. Balancing her weight with only one of his strong arms, Rory reached between their bodies with his other hand, grabbed his cock, and put the tip of his dick at the entrance of her pussy. Without preamble he pushed into of her. He was hot and hard and filled every inch of her body, stretching her, making her feel consumed.
Rory held her hips tight as used her body as leverage to thrust into her body, to fuck her like a madman. Back and forth he thrust his hips, filling her with his cock and then retreating just as quickly until she felt like she was going to come again.
“I love you,” he grunted out. “Tell me you love me, Lena. Tell me you love me as my cock’s deep inside of you.”
