I screamed when I heard the door bang open.

“Get the fuck away from her.” Comet roared. I spun around and flung off my blindfold that took my mask and hat with it. There were two bouncers with Comet and the other Santa stood in the middle of the room.

“She’s mine tonight.” He smirked as he pounced on me and grabbed my arm.

  “Dasher?” I asked.

“It’s me sweetheart. My darling Ruby.”

“How do you know my name?” I asked. Fear had creeped over my whole body. I just wanted Comet to hold me in his arms and not let go.

“Get the fuck off my wife!” Comet yelled as he stormed towards us. The bouncers were yelling and I felt relief when my arm was released. The bouncers were dragging Dasher away when Comet yelled at them to stop.

“How the hell does he know who she is?” The bouncers shrugged. “I need to see his face.”

“We can’t do that, it’s against the rules.”

“He knows who my wife is. She could be in danger.” As they argued I charged towards Dasher and ripped his beard away. I gasped in surprise as I stumbled back away from him.

  “Dom?” I whispered.

“Hi, Ruby.” He smirked at me.

“Dominic?” Comet questioned. I nodded my head.

“What the hell are you doing here?” My voice wavered and Comet wrapped his arms around me from behind.

“You disappeared and left me. I didn’t know if you were dead or alive. Then I saw you one day. Two years ago. I followed you to your friends apartment and then I followed you here.”

  “Oh my god.” I cried.

“I can’t believe you were fucking me nearly everyday, two years ago and you didn’t even know it was me. I was so happy when you came back this year. But you were with him. This was the only way I could get my hands on you, to remind you how good we were together.”

“It was just sex.” I stated.

“We were in love!” He shouted.

“It wasn’t love. You were fucking someone else. I walked in and saw it!” She screamed at him.

“I want you back.” The bodyguards still had a hold of him. I walked closer and slapped him around the face.

“Don’t you dare come near me again.” The bodyguards took that as their sign to remove him. He screamed and shouted for me as they dragged him away.

I turned around and fell into Comet’s arms and cried.

“Shhhh, it’s ok. I’m here.” He tried to soothe me.

“Please take me home.” I sobbed.

“Of course.” He picked me up in his arms and I clasped my arms around his neck. He walked down the corridor and I could hear voices telling him that I wasn’t allowed out this way. He argued with them and they relented and let us both out, together.

Ruby had been quiet all day and all evening. After what had happened at Santa Land last night I didn’t want to leave her alone. She had cried herself to sleep the night before and wouldn’t talk to me about how she was feeling.

“Shall we watch a movie?” I asked as I came down the stairs after putting Oliver to bed. He still wasn’t feeling well and he had developed a more persistent cough too. I placed his baby monitor on the coffee table and looked at Ruby.

“You haven’t been to the gym all day. You should go. I’m fine.” She had a blanket wrapped over her shoulders and she was sitting in the corner of the sofa. She looked so small.

“Connor has it under control.” I sat next to her and handed her the remote control for the TV. “What do you want to watch?”

“I think I’ll just go to bed.” She shrugged the blanket off her shoulder and went to stand up.

“Babe, please talk to me.” I pleaded as I held hold of her hand. I wouldn’t let her run away from this.

“What do you want to talk about?” she sighed.

“Tell me what’s been running through your head all day?”

“You really want to know what’s going on in my mind?” She asked as she ripped her hand out of mine. She started pacing up and down in front of me. “You want me to tell you how disgusted I feel. How dirty I feel? How I went to Santa Land two years ago for a bit of fun. But I ended up with a son and a boyfriend. And apparently an ex who was fucking my brains out every night and I didn’t even know it was him!” She screamed as tears ran down her face. “I feel violated, but it was all consensual. He didn’t do anything I didn’t ask for. What kind of woman does that make me? A slut, a whore? Someone who doesn’t deserve to have a beautiful son and a gorgeous boyfriend.”

“Hey, stop that.” I said as I climbed to my feet and stopped her pacing.

“Why did he do it?” She sobbed into my chest. “Why didn’t he just tell me who he was?”

“Because he wanted you back. Maybe he planned to come clean at the end of that year.”

“He asked me to go with him to the playroom this year.” She admitted.

  “What?”

“It was the night that you were late home from work and I went to Santa Land alone. Obviously I told him no.”

“I’m gonna find him and kill him.” I growled as my fists clenched at my sides.

“No! Then where would that leave me and Oliver? Alone, while you would be banged up in prison.”

“So, you just expect me to forget about it and move on?”

  “Yes. We both have too.”

“I’m not happy about it. If he contacts you or approaches you, you had better tell me.”

“I promise.” She brought my head down to hers and kissed me on the lips. “Thanks for making me talk about it. I’m not over it, but it helped. Shall we watch a movie?”

“Oh, so it wasn’t good enough when I suggested it.” I joked with her as I tickled her.

“Go and make some popcorn and I’ll find us a nice Christmas movie to watch.”

“You’re as bad as Eve with all this Christmas shit.” I mumbled.

“Excuse me, Mr. Hades. But who was it that bought a fuck off great big Christmas tree and squeezed it into our house?” She was standing with her hands on her hips and she looked sexy as fuck.

“Oliver picked it out.” I threw her a wink before ambling into the kitchen and chucking some popcorn in the microwave.

“I missed you.” Eve sighed as she pulled me in for a hug as I stepped into her house.

“I missed you too.” I unbuttoned my coat and hung it over the back of the dining chair. “And I missed you.” I pulled Isobelle up off her playmat and kissed her chubby cheeks.

“What’s Marcus up to?” Eve asked as she set a black cup of coffee down on the coffee table in front of me.

“He said that him and Oliver had something special that they needed to do.” She nodded her head as she sipped on her coffee. “You know what they’re doing.” I exclaimed.

“What? No.” She shook her head, not looking at me.

“Eve?” I asked. She ignored me and kept drinking her coffee. “Evelyn.”

“Ok, fine. Yes, I know where they are. But I can’t tell you.”

  “We tell each other everything.”

“We do, but I can’t tell you this. It’s good, I promise.”

  “Fine.” I sighed and pouted.

“Stop pouting like a four year old.” She laughed. “When am I going to get to see my nephew again?”

“As soon as his cold has gone. I just don’t want him to make Isobelle ill, especially before the wedding.”

“I can’t believe I am going to be married in just six days.” Her smile was big and bright and I loved how happy Connor made her.

“Where’s my gorgeous girls?” Connor shouted as he rounded the corner into the living room.

  “We’re here.” I laughed.

“Three gorgeous girls in my living room.” He smiled. Isobelle started squealing and waving her arms and legs in the air as he came closer. I held h
er out to him and he scooped her up in the air.

“So, the big day is nearly here.” I took a sip of my coffee and relaxed back into the sofa.

“Yeah and it’s not coming quick enough.” Connor complained.

I dug my phone out of my pocket as it vibrated against my leg.

Marcus - Can you come home please? x

Ruby - On my way x

“Look at that, I’ve just been summoned home.” Eve smiled brightly and bounced in her seat.

“You had best get going then.” She began practically shoving me out of her door.

“Wait, what are we doing for your birthday?” I asked as I slipped my coat on.

  “Nothing.” Was her reply.

“We’re having a meal here.” Connor added. “About seven o’clock ok?”

“Sounds good. I’ll get mum to babysit. See you then.” Eve kissed me on the cheek before closing the door on me. She was definitely excited about something.

“Hello?” I called out as I walked in through the front door and hung my coat up. I slipped out of my shoes and walked further into the house.

“Mummy.” Oliver shouted as he came running over to me. I scooped him up in my arms.

“Hi, baby. You look better this afternoon. Has daddy been spoiling you?”

“Cat.” Was his reply. He always replied with random things these days.

  “Marcus?” I called out.

“In here.” He shouted from the kitchen. We made our way to the kitchen and Oliver wiggled in my arms to get down. I plopped him on his feet and he took off running towards Marcus.

  “Cat.” Oliver said again.

“What’s going on? Why are you sitting on the floor?” That’s when I heard a little meow. I looked down to my feet to see a gorgeous ginger tabby staring back at me.

“Meet the newest member of the Hades family. Jingle.” He smiled. I dropped to my knees and she climbed into my lap.

“She is gorgeous. Aren’t we a bit busy to have a kitten too?”

  “Cats are quite self sufficient.”

“Ah and she has a Christmas red collar on… Wait, what’s this?” I looked at the collar again to see a ring hanging from it. When I looked up, Marcus was now on one knee.

“Ruby, my Angel. I am so in love with you. I couldn’t be happier with our little family. But you not having the Hades name doesn’t make it complete. Ruby, will you marry me?”

I couldn’t stop the tears from sliding down my cheeks. No wonder Eve was so happy today. She was always one for romantic shit.

“Yes.” I smiled at him. He shot forwards towards me and claimed my lips.

“I can’t wait for you to be Mrs. Ruby Hades.”

“I love the sound of that.” I held hold of the kitten as Marcus undid her collar and slipped the ring off. Once her collar was back in place I placed her on the floor and she ran away.

“I love you.” He smiled as he placed the ring on my finger. It was white gold with a single diamond in the middle.

“I love it. Thank you so much. You make me very happy.”

Ruby and I had already decided that we would have a summer wedding. A wedding outside in the sunshine, maybe on a beach. Really low key and nothing too formal.

“Oh god, Marcus.” She moaned into the pillow as I slammed back into her from behind. My grip on her hips was fierce. I was trying to keep her still. I wanted to bring her to orgasm and not let her work it out on my cock herself.

“If you don’t stop moving this little arse of yours, I’m going to pin you to the bed and fuck you harder.”

“And you think that sounds like a threat?” She laughed.

I pulled out of her and she pouted.

“Lie down flat on your front. Arms above your head.” She did as she was told and she looked gorgeous with her face turned to the left and her dark hair falling over her right shoulder. Her arse had my handprint on it and I wanted to mark her body more. I grabbed the tie I wore to her work party and wound it around her wrists and tied them to the headboard. I made sure her legs were pushed closer together and then straddled them.

“Can you move?” She tried moving and she couldn’t. “Good, this is how I want you.” I pulled her arse cheeks apart until I could see her glistening pussy. I lined my cock up and pushed inside of her. She was very tight this way, it felt like she was strangling my cock. I lowered my body over hers and trailed kisses up and down her back. I wanted to create a fire inside of her, I wanted her to burn for me. I moved in and out of her in slow long movements. When her head started thrashing from side to side I knew she was getting close to releasing. I wanted to come with her so I placed my hands on the bed by her ribs and started a punishing rhythm as I loomed over her.

“I’m gonna come.” Her voice was muffled as she face planted the pillow. I grabbed a fistful of her hair and pulled her head back as I plunged into her once more. Our shattering climaxes took over us and we were both shouting out into the room. Shockwaves of pleasure sizzled through my body as I pulled out and released her hands from the headboard. We both collapsed on the mattress, not speaking as we let our bodies come down from the pleasure storm.

“You know how to fuck me good and proper Marcus Hades.” She panted as she flung her leg over mine and straddled my waist. My cock had already started coming back to life.

“Now I’m going to make love to you.”

“Oh really?” I nodded as I sat up and flung my legs over the side of the bed. Her hands were gripping the back of my neck. I gripped her waist and rose her above my hardened cock. She slid down over me easily and her head fell back in ecstasy.

“Why does it always feel like the first time when you slide into me?” She rose her body over mine and started grinding her hips. Her pebbled nipples hardened against the hair on my chest. Heat and power radiated between us as her body closed tightly around me. I kissed the slender column of her throat as her head dipped back. I held onto her back and pistoned my hips. Her loud cry had me doing it again. I loved how our bodies worked together, bringing the most pleasure either of us could handle.

“Come for me.” I whispered to her as I pulled a nipple into my mouth and sucked hard. Her pussy immediately started quivering and I shot my load into her. Her head snapped up as she worked her body on top of mine. Prolonging our release as much as possible.

“Why aren’t you wearing your ring?” Marcus asked as he parked the car in Eve’s driveway.

“It’s Eve’s birthday celebrations tonight. I don’t want to steal that away from her.”

“She knows we’re engaged.” He jumped out of the car and had come round to open up my door. “Do you have your ring with you?”

  “Yeah, it’s in my bag.”

  “Please put it on.”

  “Not tonight.”

“What’s the big deal? We’ve told everyone anyway.”

“The big deal is that we’re here to celebrate Eve’s birthday and I don’t want everyone asking to see the ring and spoiling that for her.”

“Fine. She’s going to be the first one to ask anyway.” He mumbled as we walked up the steps to her front door.

“Hello?” We both called out as we let ourselves in. Marcus took my coat from me and hung it up along with his.

“Hi.” Eve squealed as she came running down the hallway.

  “Happy birthday.” I smiled.

“Yeah, yeah.” She waved it off as she grabbed my left hand. “Where’s the ring?”

“In her bag.” Marcus stated as he kissed Eve on the cheek and walked past her.

“Why aren’t you wearing it? Don’t you like it?” She giggled.

“It’s your birthday celebrations. I don’t want people talking about me and your brother getting engaged.”

“This is big news. We never thought Marcus would get married.” She laughed. “Besides, you know I don’t
like celebrating my birthday. This was all Connors idea.” She waved at the balloons that were hanging around.

“Fine.” I sighed. “But don’t blame me if we steal your thunder.”

I rooted around in my bag until I found my sparkling ring. I didn’t really want to take it off, but I thought it was the right thing to do. I slipped it on my finger and Eve grabbed my hand and gushed at how gorgeous it was.

“Are we having the party in the hallway, ladies?” Connor chuckled. He held out a glass of wine for me and Eve.

“Thank you.” I smiled as I took the offered glass.

“Congratulations on the engagement.” He kissed my cheek.

“Thank you.” I rounded the corner into the living room and placed my wine glass on the coffee table so I could steal Isobelle out of Marcus’s arms.

“Hey,” he complained. “She’s my niece.”

“She’s our niece.” I corrected him as I sat down on his lap.

“I’m glad you’ve got my ring back on.”

“I’m sorry I took it off.” I gave him a kiss and he relaxed back into the armchair.

“Where’s mum and dad?” Marcus asked Eve as she and Connor walked around the corner.

“They should be here any minute. Connor has been cooking today.”

“It smells great.” I beamed. “I’m so hungry.”

“I’ll put Isobelle to bed.” Connor told Eve. “You have a drink and relax.” I held Isobelle tighter. I didn’t want to let her go.

“Hand her over, Ruby.” Connor laughed as he held out his arms. I begrudgingly passed her over. Marcus wrapped his arms around my middle and pulled me in closer to him.

“Hello.” Eve’s mum and dad called as they walked in. I stood up to greet them and they immediately asked to see my ring. I showed them to get it out of the way.

“It’s beautiful.” Maggie beamed. “My son did well.”

  “He really did.”

“Shall we all go and sit down?” Connor asked as he came down the stairs and wrapped his arm around Eve. He led us into their dining room. The table was laid out with wine glasses, knives and forks, napkins and birthday balloons.
