A broken harsh cry left her lips. He glanced up with concern.

“Don’t you dare stop!” she growled.

Solron grinned and licked again. Her back bowed and he gripped her hips, licking, feasting on her little nub. Her cries were suddenly muffled. He glanced up over the curve of her body to see she had stuffed her small fist into her mouth.

Unconcerned, he continued his assault on her clit, sucking, drawing more addicting flavor from her. He thrust two fingers back into her passage. She was tight, so hot, so wet. There was no doubt in his mind that she would be able to take him.

He pushed in and out and drew her now-swollen nub deep into his mouth. She writhed, screaming his name around her fist. Her body shuddered, her skin flushed.

Solron rose up over her and lowered himself between her legs.

“Oh yes, please, Solron… Take me.”

He needed no more encouragement; the tip of his cock breached her entrance. He pulled her fist from her mouth and covered her lips again with his own, slowly sliding deeper, deeper into her hot, welcoming body.

He closed his eyes with the sensation of being squeezed. Tight feels so good—oh, so good. It was not a wonder that Kelon men treasured their human women. He treasured Sara, possessed her, owned her. The claiming rushed uncontrolled through his mind. By the Holy Fires of Elron, I claim you, Sara Button.

He shifted his hips and slid in until he could go no further.

Sex was something she only experienced twice in her life, but nothing compared to the white-hot pleasure now pouring through her. Utterly impaled by his long, hard cock, she was helpless and loved every inch, every moment of him within her. Still, it was not enough. He was hers. Possession raged through her veins. It was a gift she wanted to give him, instead he again gave her more than she believed possible.

“A-are you alright? Have I hurt you?” he asked, his sharp white teeth gritted, his face strained, his dark hair falling about them like a curtain.

God, she loved it, loved him.

She sucked in a sharp breath. It couldn’t be. She couldn’t love him. No, it was lust talking. “No, I’m good, perfect, wonderful. Don’t stop, please. I need you, I need more.”

He withdrew and sank back into her. Her mind blanked of everything except the delicious sensations, the friction of their bodies.

“More, faster!” Her fingers curling into his bulging biceps, she clung to him.

He growled, low and sexy, sending spikes through her body, pushing her higher, back to the peak of her last amazing orgasm. Not enough, never enough. Greedy and possessive, she wanted more.

He gave her what she craved, thrusting hard and deep, his mouth mashed onto hers. His tongue speared between her teeth, covering her cries, while mimicking his plundering cock.

He shifted the angle of his penetration. She screamed into his mouth when he hit one spot over and over, sending her careening over the edge into another shattering climax. Every muscle of her body injected her with pleasure. His frantic pace kept her peaking, the universe exploding around her.

His body shook and his breathing labored. She felt him thicken inside her. His body seized and he growled. Hot warmth spread through her lower belly and she knew he came inside her.

She held him, stroked his shoulders and back as he fell forward onto her, his weight momentarily crushing her. His face rested in the crook of her neck, his hot breath fanning against her skin. He lifted his body from hers, keeping their lower half joined and rolled them slightly, keeping her enclosed in his arms.

Safe, protected, loved. She shoved her untamed thoughts back.

Both breathing hard and no doubt, he was as much at a loss for words as she was. Slowly, after a long moment of silence, of simply holding each other, she found the breath to speak.

“That was amazing, thank you.” She stroked her hand over his chest, loving the way his muscles tensed under her touch.

“It should not have happened, but I could not resist you.”

“You want to resist me?” She propped her chin up on his chest, meeting his gaze. She didn’t want regrets with Solron.

“Yes, no I…I want to see you happy. Did I please you?”

She couldn’t help but chuckle, the confusion on his face adorable.

“I feared after all you have suffered, I would hurt you.”

“No, you have made me happy. You gave me what I needed and I hope I gave you a little something in return?”

His arms tightened around her. “More than a little something. I will never forget this, never forget you, my star shine. Never will I regret touching you.”

“Good.” She buried her head against his chest, not wanting him to see the pain making her chest ache. It was an unspoken understanding, she knew, this something could not last forever.

“For now, let us just be together, unafraid, unrestrained and worry about the future later.” She placed a kiss on his chest.

  “Agreed.”

The future would tear out her heart. For she knew, despite her mind’s denial, she loved him.

  Chapter 6

Bliss and white-hot fire, all mixed in one small little package, that’s what she was. Solron reclined on the bed naked, watching Sara fold clean clothes before she placed them in their compartments. From her short, clipped movements, he noted her nervousness.

He rolled from the bed and pressed himself along her back, wrapping his arms around her middle before sliding his hands up over her shirt to cup her breasts.

“You worry too much, star shine.” He bent, then nibbled on her earlobe. Never would he get enough of tasting her.

“You said we’ll be on Earth in a few hours. I just needed something to do,” she said, her voice breathy as she leaned back, her softness molding against his harder length.

No matter how many times he touched, tasted or took her, he hungered for more.

“You will be with me all the way to Earth?”

“All the way.” He would face it, see her safe, and then walk away. Even if it did tear out his heart, it was for the best.

She twisted in his arms and gazed up at him. He loved the feel of her soft body against his harder one.

“I don’t know how to thank you for all you’ve done for me.”

Tenderly, he stroked the side of her face. “You have, star shine, more than you know.”

Not wanting any more words between them to spoil the moment, he dipped his head, capturing her lips in a soft, teasing kiss.

He wanted to block out the thoughts of returning to his life on Kelon without her, a life of constant work and loneliness, while others planned his future. Anger and possession reeled through him. Sara opened his eyes to the path his life was taking.

Choice, or duty to his family. So much was already set in place that he could not back out now, could not offend his family after their hard work and dedication.

But could he let Sara go? Every part of him screamed she was his. He squeezed her tighter; her arms stole up around his neck. He closed his eyes, inhaling her light scent as her soft fingers wove into his hair. He adored everything about her: her touch, her scent. Every wonderful sensation he savored.

She broke the kiss, gazing up with her silvery eyes.

“No regrets, Solron. Life is too short to regret your choices. I want to look back on my time with you with a smile. I want to remember how wonderful it is to be with you, your touch, your kiss and the pleasure given without reserve.”

He did not regret touching her, taking her body, giving her everything he was. Still, he longed to give her more than just his touch, more than pleasure, yet it was all he had to offer her. Wasn’t it?

He slid his hand to cup her rounded bottom, no longer boney as it once was. It filled his hands perfectly. He lifted her against him.

Her soft moan filled the air when he pressed his erection against her hot core, separated only by the thin barrier of her shirt. She lifted her legs, wrapping them around his waist, her mou
th seeking his.

He angled his head as she meshed their lips together, his tongue spearing past her teeth to taste her silken heat. Would he ever survive without this? Without her taste?

Keeping one arm cupping her bottom, he lifted his other to hold the nape of her neck as he took over the kiss, dominating her mouth, devouring it.

How he loved kissing her. Walking backwards, he sank down on the edge of the bed, his hands gripping her shirt, then tugging it up. Quickly, he rid her of the garment.

He wanted, needed to touch her, map her body again and again with his hands, eyes and tongue.

His hands roamed every part of her, while he plundered her mouth and he leaned back, pulling her with him. Her lower half draped over his. She lifted her mouth from his.

“Ride me, star shine,” he commanded, his voice deep, laced with need. “I need to be in you.”

Her breathing labored, her eyes blazing with passion, she gripped his cock and guided him inside her.

She moaned while sinking slowly down, her heat enveloping his hard length until her ass rested on the back of his thighs.

Sara cried out, loving the feel of her inner walls stretching around him; she was so wet, so eager.

He clamped his fingers on the rise of her hips and moved her up and down, his strength always a wonder to her. As he moved her down, he slammed into her, forcing himself as deep as possible, lifting to meet her halfway through the thrust.

  “Kiss me,” he growled.

Even as she rocked on him, she obeyed, her chest smashing into his as she slanted her head and meshed their lips together. His tongue immediately shot inside her mouth, claiming her as his. His hand slid up and down her back. His other hand played with her swollen clit, flicking it with his thumb.

Release slammed through her, wild exhilaration thrumming into every nerve ending as if electrified—a storm of satisfaction through every inch of her body.

Her fingers speared into his hair, holding him captive while he continued to rock and thrust up into her. One of his hands fell to her ass and pressed her down as he rose up. She felt his chest rumble with the roar he forced himself to hold inside as he came, sending her over the edge a second time.

She collapsed forward onto him, their chests heaving with the effort to draw in much-needed oxygen.

He anchored his arms around her waist, holding her to him, not wanting to let go of the euphoric bliss surrounding them.

  “Thank you,” she panted.

“Pleasing you brings me such joy.”

She smiled, loving his sated grin. She glanced away, not wanting him to see the torn indecision of her heart. As much as she longed to see her home and family, she also didn’t want to lose what she found with Solron. How was she ever going to live without him, even if it was home on Earth?

  * * * *

The blue-green ball of swirling whites was an awe-inspiring sight; Earth, her home, yet it filled with her with a gut-pitching sense of dread. It would take her away from Solron. He stood beside her, silent, his features a mask of calm as he guided her though the Kelon space station orbiting Earth and to the waiting shuttle which would take them through the atmosphere and down to the planet.

Te-Commander Rell sat behind them while two Kelon warriors from the orbiting space station piloted the shuttle down to Earth.

“There will be a delegation waiting when we arrive and you will be safely home with your people.”

Te-Commander Rell’s words brought her no comfort.

“Um, why? I just want to go home.”

“I know, but we have to inform your human authorities each time we visit your planet. We wish to maintain good relations with your people, so we comply with their wishes.”

It made sense, but still didn’t make her feel any better.

Throughout the whole ride, her stomach was a knot of nerves. Did she really want this? Didn’t she want to be home, to see her family, to mentally prove to herself that her home was real and not just a dream of her nightmarish imprisonment at the hands of the Xersons?

More questions lingered. Would she ever feel at home, could she go back to a normal, routine life on her parents’ farm? Her mother and father, her three older sisters—would they be happy to see her, relieved she was alive and finally home?

The shuttle dropped suddenly, Sara instinctively reaching out ans grabbing Solron’s arm.

“Do not fear, star shine, the atmosphere drop only lasts a few milrons,” Solron soothed. It was the first time he spoke since leaving the ship.

She glanced up, meeting his dark, intense gaze. Wishing she knew what was on his mind, she sucked in a breath, then let it out slowly, trying to calm her anxiety.

He patted her hand and quickly glanced away. She could feel the stiff rigidness of his body and wanted to do something to ease the tension she felt rolling off him. With their audience, she knew she dare not appear too intimate. No, it was time to suck it up, put on her big girl pants and face the fact she would never see him again.

She pulled away, but couldn’t stop herself from gripping tightly to the seat; ahead of her clouds vanished and the ground rapidly came up to meet them. She recognized Australia and the little island of Tasmania, once her home. The shuttle shot past the island, heading up the coast toward Sydney.

“Where are we going? Tasmania is my home.” Sara glanced back over her shoulder at Te-Commander Rell.

“We have been asked to deliver you to the coordinates sent to us by your Earth authorities. They will see you to your home.”

A chill of dread ran down Sara’s spine. Suddenly having to face people asking questions, staring at her, being examined by—she shuddered—Earth doctors.

  “Are you alright, Sara?”

She glanced up at hearing the concern in Solron’s voice. She shook her head.

“I want to go home, not somewhere else,” she pleaded.

“We must abide by your planet’s laws. It will be alright. Your family will be waiting for you when we land,” the commander said with assurance.

She should feel more at ease with her family, shouldn’t she?

Sara closed her eyes, concentrating on keeping her breathing even and calming the rapid beating of her heart.

Soon, the shuttle smoothly landed, the engines powered down and came to a compete standstill. She opened her eyes when Solron tugged on her arm.

“You are home,” he said quietly, unbuckling her seat belt.

He rose to his feet, and Sara followed on wobbly legs. She blinked, raising her hand to shield her eyes from the glare when she stepped from the shuttle onto a sun-heated tarmac.

Men in military uniform stood around, their gazes fixed on her as she walked between Solron and Te-Commander Rell. Off to one side was her elder sister, Eve, but no one else.

Two of the men stepped forward.

“I am Te-Commander Rell and this is Doctor Solron here to hand over the human female, Sara Button, per her request to return home.”

The military man in his brown-and-tan uniform saluted.

“I am Colonel Morland, head of Australian Military Operations for the human/Kelon friendship treaty. We are grateful for your rescue and return of our citizen.”

The chief commander turned his gaze to her, his hard gaze examining her from head-to-toe.

“Miss Button, if you would come with our officer, we will reunite you with your sister.”

“Where’s my mom and my dad?”

The colonel’s gaze turned almost sympathetic. “Miss Button, it will be best you talk with your sister.”

With reluctance, she let the other officer lead her away toward her sister. Sara’s heart pounded harder with every step she took towards her older sister.

“Sara, we thought you were lost forever,” Eve said, stepping forward and giving Sara a stiff hug before taking a step back.

Sara struggled to fight back the tears.

  “Where’s Mum and Dad?”

  “You’ve been
gone for a year, Sara, and you being Mum and Dad’s favorite¼well, they couldn’t handle the stress of your disappearance. Dad died of a heart attack a month after they declared you missing. Mum, she broke down not long after and simply withered away in the months that followed.” Eve’s tone was harsh and bitter.

Sara stared into her sister’s eyes and it became clear to her upon seeing the contempt and jealousy in her sister’s gaze, that she blamed her for everything that happened. A numbing sensation seeped through her upon hearing the news of her parents’ deaths.

Sara tried to swallow the hard, painful lump in her throat. “Where are Megan and Sally?”

“They couldn’t make the trip to Sydney to get you. Anyway, the Army said they will keep you a while before you can go anywhere.”

  “W-what about the farm?”

“We sold it last month and divided the money. I guess you can come live with me once the Army is done with you.”

The clear lack of any kind of affection and care made Sara’s blood run cold.

On top of that, who knew what the Army had in store for her; she didn’t want this, didn’t want to be placed back into a cold, heartless world.

She turned her head to see Te-Commander Rell shaking hands with the colonel. Solron stared at her and she saw her own sadness reflected in his dark gaze.

Brighter than the core of the sun, realization hit Sara with full force; beyond a shadow of a doubt, she loved him. His every touch and look proved to her that he cared for her like no other ever had, or ever would. The Earth, its people and her family were not hers anymore.

Te-Commander Rell and Sorlon turned, walking back towards their shuttle.

“Miss Button, if you’ll come with me, please.”

The Army man took loose hold of her arm.

Sara ignored him and shrugged off his hand. The blood pounded in her ears and she swiftly turned and ran back towards the Kelon shuttle, desperation making her blood fizzle like a shaken soda can. She cried out, “Solron!”

  * * * *

Every muscle in his body rigid, Solron forced his legs to move, every step heavier the next. The simple act of walking back towards the shuttle was the hardest thing he had ever done in his life. He did not want to leave her in the hands of these humans. She needed special care—his care. His primal instincts demanded he take back what belonged to him.
