I wipe my smile off and caress her protruding baby bump. It amazes me that a little piece of us is growing inside of her again. It’s a blessing—one I’m all too thankful for. I grip her face in my hands and stare down intently into my wife’s baby blues with nothing but love and sincerity.

Acknowledgements
Never in a million years did I think I would be typing out my acknowledgements, but here I am, and I still can’t believe it. There’s so many people I want to thank for contributing to the publishing of my first novel, so I sincerely hope no one hates me if I accidentally forget them. First, I want to start off by thanking the Solstice Publishing family. Thank you guys for taking a chance on a young writer like me, and making my dreams come true. Thank you for giving me this opportunity, I couldn’t have asked for a better team!
I need to take a moment to thank my family for being so damn supportive of me. To my parents, thank you for being my rocks through this process. You guys have held me down and lifted my spirits even when I didn’t think this was possible. I love all you guys so much! To all my friends that have been rocking with me since day one, you guys know who you are and how much you all mean to me. To my sister Nessa, thank you for being the supportive, goofy individual you are.
Special shout out to my friend, Elizabete from the UK. You are amazing, and I couldn’t have done this without you! Thank you for caring enough about my story to tell me when something is shit. A huge thank you to the ladies: Debbie Duncalf, Elizabete Virvinska, Gwen Evans, Helen Shorrocks, Serena Ricci, Jennifer Thomason—my wonderful beta team! To all the bloggers that have helped by agreeing to work with me, I can’t express how much I admire every one of you. Thank you all!
