“Right it is,” I said and reached behind me to drag Delia by the hand.

As soon as we crossed the threshold to the suite, I spun and had my mouth on hers. The three of us hadn’t been together in too long.

“You two get started,” Xander said. “I’m going to check my old room for lube.”

I groaned into Delia’s mouth. “You ready for us, baby?”

She peered up at me with widened eyes but nodded.

Cupping her face, I kissed her softly. “You know you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, right?’

  “I … uh—”

“Found some.” Xander strode into the room but paused when he saw the hesitance in Delia’s eyes. “What’s up?”

“I, umm,” Delia started. “Okay, so—”

“Someone’s a little nervous about having us both at the same time,” I said.

  Xander grinned. “Is that so?”

  Delia

My skin heated as my cheeks no doubt turned red. “I want to. But it’s the one thing I’ve never done. Both at one time, I mean.”

The guys were still smiling at me.

  “Stop judging me!”

  Great, now they laughed.

Xander stepped behind me and pressed against me. “Not judging but loving the appearance of your innocent librarian personality.”

I rolled my eyes. “Here he goes with the librarian crap again.”

Roman moved closer, so I was sandwiched in between them. “I reckon we should get her some sexy glasses,” he said to Xander.

Xander’s lips skimmed my shoulder as he murmured, “Definitely. And, D? We don’t have to do anything you’re not ready to. We have forever to play with.”

  “Forever,” Roman said.

Their mouths met, and they squished me in tighter. They were both hard, one cock pressing into my stomach and the other against the cleft of my ass. I bit my lip and tried to hold in a moan, but it came out as a squeak. Then mouths and hands were all over me.

Roman palmed my breasts through the material of my dress. “Well, this has to go.” Xander raised my arms as Roman lifted it over my head. “Seriously, Xander, you’re a prince. You think you could buy her some fucking underwear?”

“I don’t like visible panty lines,” I complained.

“VPL is a serious issue, Roman,” Xander mocked. “My sister used to complain about it all the time.” He laughed and then went quiet and took a step back. It was as if the mention of his sister sobered him.

I turned in Roman’s arms to face Xander. “You okay?”

He smiled. “I am. I just realised that was the first time I’ve laughed about her since it happened. That’s a good sign, right?”

  “Really good.”

Stepping forward, he pulled my chin up, and his mouth came down on mine. The kiss reminded me of our first kiss in the back of my town car. I’d planned to kiss him hot and heavy and blow his mind, but instead, something inside me knew he needed tender. He needed to be shown he was worthy of more.

Roman came behind me, his lips landing on the back of my neck while his fingers worked the clasp of my bra.

“Why am I the only one naked?” I asked.

“On it,” Roman said. He struggled with his T-shirt and threw it across the room so fast it was comical.

“Get on the bed, D,” Xander said.

I lay back, my hair spread out on the pillow and my legs wide. My two guys stood at the foot of the bed, their eyes roaming over me.

“I’ve wanted this for so long,” Xander said as he undressed.

“Let me help,” Roman said and reached for Xander’s belt.

“If you insist.” Xander let his hands drop to his sides.

Roman closed the gap between them and kissed Xander’s neck. Xander’s head fell back as Roman continued to tackle the belt and zipper.

I loved watching them together. They were rougher with each other than with me. Roman’s passion and love for Xander was obvious in the way he touched him and kissed him.

Their mouths and hands explored each other, and the masculine groans made the need within me grow, but I could wait. My turn would come.

I was the newbie in this relationship. Though Roman technically joined Xander and me, and now Xander was joining me and Roman, they had a two-year long courtship—even if neither of them realised what it was.

Being with them had been the only time it felt right with someone. My wild nights at Mystique were time fillers, and so were my boring dates with dignitaries and noblemen. I wasn’t restless with Xander and Roman. They were the only ones I wanted more than one night with.

I couldn’t hold in my moan when Roman freed Xander’s cock and stroked him. Xander’s breath was uneven and ragged. Roman tried to sink to his knees, but Xander stopped him.

“Do that and I won’t recover. I’m on the edge and have been horny for months.”

Roman chuckled. “I guess I’ll have to use my talents on our girl.”

“Or, I have a better idea,” Xander said. He leaned in and whispered something in Roman’s ear.

  “Are you sure?” Roman asked.

“There hasn’t been anyone I trust as much as you,” he said.

Roman stood stunned while Xander lost his shirt completely, stepped out of his pants, and stalked towards me on the bed.

I squirmed as his mouth ran up my thigh, and as he got closer to my core, I shivered in anticipation. Instead of giving me what I wanted, he kept making his way up my body.

  “Fucking tease,” I complained.

His mouth landed on mine, and his tongue forced its way inside. Not that it met much resistance.

His cock ground against me, as his lips moved to my cheek and then down my neck. “Mmm, I’ve missed you guys.” He took my breasts in his hands.

“Are you talking to Roman and me or my boobs?”

“All of the above.” Xander’s mouth clamped down on one of my nipples, and a shriek escaped me when his teeth grazed my skin.

His hand trailed down my stomach. “You going to be ready for me, D?”

I nodded, unable to construct proper words with my tongue.

He groaned as his fingers entered me. “So ready.” A whimper escaped me when his fingers left me, but they were soon replaced by his cock lining up at my entrance and slowly inching in. “Here’s the deal, baby. You’re going to have to distract me for a bit, ’kay?”

I didn’t know what he meant until I felt the bed dip as Roman climbed in behind Xander.

“I can stop at any time,” Roman said.

I heard the cap of the bottle of lube open, and the thought of Roman taking Xander while he was inside me made heat flood my body.

“I’m good,” Xander croaked, but he stilled. His brow furrowed as Roman prepped him, and his skin flushed.

  “Kiss me,” I said.

His mouth met mine, but he was too focused on what Roman was doing. His tongue was lazy and his attention elsewhere.

  “Xander, relax,” Roman said.

“Easier said than done,” he gritted out. “It’s been a long time since I tried this.”

  “I can stop,” Roman said.

“No!” Xander cried out. “Just give me a sec.”

I cupped his face and forced him to look down at me. “Focus on me,” I whispered. My hands trailed down to his shoulders. “You’re all tense.”

“I’m trying not to crush you.”

“Crush me,” I said. “I can take your weight.”

He lowered himself on top of me, trying to keep his weight on one elbow as he propped himself up. I kissed his skin, his neck, his chest—anywhere my mouth could reach. The tightness in him loosened but only for a second before he cursed under his breath. His cock, which had been softening inside me, jerked.

  “That’s it,” Roman encouraged.

Xander kissed me again. His tongue worked with mine, then fought for dominance, and then went back to being playful. He took his time, savouring me, loving me. Slowly, hi
s hips started moving.

Xander muttered something unintelligible. It sounded like “fuck me” but came out more “fulmblingjin.” His head fell to the crook of my shoulder, but his hips kept moving, slowly picking up pace.

I wanted to watch what Roman was doing to him, but the sensation of Xander moving inside me made me close my eyes and arch my back. My body craved more.

  “Ready, babe?” Roman asked.

  Xander grunted.

“I think that was a yes,” I said.

  “Fuck yes,” Xander said.

More weight shifted on top of me. There was a brief moment where Xander stilled above me again, but he took a deep breath and then kissed me hard.

Roman groaned and then moved inside Xander, setting off a chain reaction where Xander moved inside of me.

“Fuck,” Xander said. “I don’t think I’ll survive this.”

“Want me to stop?” Roman asked.

“Hell no,” Xander and I said in unison.

“But there’s a good chance I may pass out from it feeling way too fucking good,” Xander said.

  “More?” Roman asked.

  “Definitely,” Xander said.

Each move Roman made, Xander thrust into me. We moved as one, and it heightened everything. My body burned, and my mind clouded over as all I could focus on was the two men I was falling for.

This was our future. All of us together.

Maybe that should’ve freaked me out. It would be frowned upon. Others might not be able to understand three people could bond the way a couple did, but I could. And all that mattered was that I was where I wanted to be, and Xander and Roman wanted me. All the rest was just noise.

  “Faster,” Xander grumbled.

“If I go any faster, I’m gonna come,” Roman said.

I clenched down on Xander’s cock. “I can come fast.”

“Fuck, so can I,” Xander said.

Roman gradually increased his pace, and sweat dripped down his forehead as he tried to hold on to his control, but it was slipping. His rhythm began to falter when my orgasm hit and I cried out.

Xander and Roman came together, and we became a ball of tense limbs and trembling bodies.

For a brief second, I feared I was about to get crushed to death if Roman put his weight on us, but at the same time, I would’ve been okay to go in that moment.

My muscles were achy, my whole body sated.

Luckily Roman collapsed beside us, while Xander fell on top of me.

“I could definitely get used to this,” Xander said.

“Good,” Roman said, his voice breathless. “Because after what you did today, there’s going to be a whole lot more.”

  Xander

“Uh, sir?” Bryant said, entering the kitchen area where I was cooking Roman and Delia breakfast.

Yup, the prince was cooking. Badly. I wondered if my grandparents would let me keep my personal chefs now I wasn’t in line for the crown. I’d had them since I was born, and my only regret by abdicating was the possibility of having to fend for myself in the real world of eggs. How the fuck did people not get chunks of shell in there?

  “What’s up?” I asked Bryant.

“Your grandmother is ten minutes out.”

I dropped the pan on the floor with a loud clang, narrowly missing burning the shit out of my feet.

“Sorry. Should’ve broken that to you gentler, right?”

“What was that crash?” Roman asked, rounding the corner. He was only wearing his suit pants from yesterday. “Aww, babe, are you trying to cook?” He kissed my cheek and then bent down to pick up the pan.

“My grandmother’s on her way here.”

Another crash when he dropped it this time. “Is she an off with their heads type of queen?” he asked.

“You and Delia are obsessed with beheadings. My nanna is nowhere near as bad as my grandfather.”

“What are you two doing out here?” Delia appeared, wearing my dress shirt and nothing else.

  “U-uh … umm …” Bryant stuttered.

Roman folded his arms across his chest, and I dove in front of Delia to cover her up.

“Geez, possessive much?” Delia said and stepped around me. “Where’s the coffee? And why are there eggs on the floor?”

“Bryant, how about you go wait for the queen outside?” Roman said.

“The queen is coming?” Delia asked, her eyes wide. “I look horrible!” Coffee forgotten, she bolted back to the bedroom.

“Is she being serious?” Bryant asked. “Has she looked in a mirror?”

  “Out,” Roman said.

  “What he said,” I agreed.

Bryant grimaced. “So, you guys can share her, but I can’t even look? Some double standard that is.”

“Can I check out your wife?” Roman asked.

“You could, but she’s butt ugly.” Bryant turned on his heel and walked out the front.

“Well, that sounds like a marriage made in heaven,” I said.

“Why do you think your grandmother’s coming?”

“Ooh, maybe they found a way to legally disown me, and she’ll kick us out. How many rooms is Delia’s apartment?”

  “Two.”

  “Farrrk.”

“It’ll be fine,” Roman said. “Whatever it is, we’ll get through it together. Even if it means you have to become a commoner like the two people you’ve chosen to spend your life with. We can teach you how to cut coupons and save on insurance.”

When he put it that way, it didn’t seem so scary. “Can’t wait,” I whispered and pressed against him. My mouth melded to his, and Roman’s arms wrapped around my back as he moaned. To think I could’ve had this for the two years we were together. If only I wasn’t blind to Roman’s feelings. He could’ve said something, damn it, but I understood why he didn’t. He wasn’t to know I’d feel the same or that I wouldn’t fire him.

A throat cleared, and I figured it was Delia, so I didn’t pull away. If anything, I kissed our man harder, just for her.

“Okay, we get it, you’re bisexual.”

My grandmother. Shit. Roman and I jumped apart. “Nanna. I didn’t hear you come in.”

“Clearly,” she said dryly. My nanna—the smartass of Ashwick. “We have business to discuss.”

I swallowed the lump in my throat. “Beheadings?”

She smiled at how scared I was of her. “As fun as that would be, it’s not a great idea when you’re nationally revered. Heck, internationally now, thanks to yesterday.”

“What are you talking about?” I asked.

“I don’t want to know what you’ve been doing to have been blind to the chaos you’ve set in motion. Where’s the third one of you?”

  “D?” I called out.

“I’ll be out in a minute!” she yelled back in a scolding manner.

Nanna laughed. “She would have made a wonderful queen.”

“I’m, uh, going to go put on a shirt,” Roman said and disappeared down the hallway.

“Have a seat,” Nanna said. She sat at the head of the dining table, and I took the chair closest to her. “Your dad would be proud of you for your bravery—facing something that opens you up to a lot of scrutiny. So would your mum and sister.”

“Thank you,” I whispered. “How’s Grandfather taking the backlash?”

Nanna waved me off. “We were prepared, and the reception has been better than we had planned for. There’s some nastiness, but we were expecting that. And then photos of you this morning appeared where it looks like you’re proposing to both a man and woman, but luckily, the pictures were grainy enough for us to deny it was you.”

  Phew.

“We’re going to have to deal with those rumours constantly, but you’re also going to have to be more careful when you’re in public.”

  “We will,” I promise.

“Now. Down to business. Just because you’ve given away the throne, that doesn’t mean you’re not royalty anymore. And with how the nation has respond
ed, it might be a while before you three can get comfortable. That’s why I’m here. This involves all of you, so come sit down.” She turned to Delia and Roman who were hovering in the entryway to the dining room.

Did this woman have eyes in the back of her head?

Delia took the seat next to me, and Roman took the one opposite.

“Here’s the deal,” Nanna said to me and Delia. “You two will still eventually wed, when you’re ready.” She turned to Roman. “You are being reassigned.”

  “I’m being reinstated?” Roman asked.

Nanna smiled. “Not exactly. You can no long be part of the royal guard who swear to protect the royal family. Being with Xander and Cordelia is a conflict of interest. Your abilities to protect them will be compromised by your personal feelings for them.”

  “I understand,” Roman said.

“However, there is nothing to stop you from being a valet, and we already have your perfect charge.”

“V-Valet?” Roman stuttered. “Like dressing royalty?”

“That’s the traditional role. We’re thinking more along the lines of … a personal assistant who keeps certain behaviours under wraps.”

  “I don’t understand, Your Majesty.”

“Quin, Roman.” Nanna looked to me. “You didn’t pick this one for his brains, did you?”

Delia and I scowled, but Roman let out a surprising laugh.

“You are to watch over Quin and talk sense into that boy when he wants to do stupid things. While you were guarding him, we had no idea about the sex clubs and partying he got up to. That’s all recently come to light, and now he’s the next king, you need to work the magic you’ve done with him before. And with Xander. You hid Xander’s affairs for two years. The royal family needs you.”

“I’ll do it. No question,” Roman said.

It wasn’t his dream job of serving in the royal guard, but he was an important person to the royals, and he was going to be the future king’s valet. I was beyond ecstatic for him.

Nanna addressed Delia and me next. “Now you’re not going to be king and queen, and word is out, the palace wants to embrace your sexuality and put a positive, supporting spin on it,” Nanna said. “We cannot, however, have you fighting for the sanctity of marriage when you don’t believe in the vows yourself.”
