The Best Part of Me

“I want it again now.” Goody moved to crawl back across the armrest, but he stopped her.
“Let me take you to my house, so I can do it right.”
“I don’t care about right. I just care about this.” She grabbed his dick and rubbed her hand up and down it.
Her hand was sticky, but he was growing in her grasp. Jerrico’s chest heaved a little rougher as he stared at her hand. He bit his lip and cleared his throat but grabbed her wrist and stopped her.
“It’ll be a mess in here if we do that. Let’s just go to my crib.”
Goody sat back and pouted as he removed the condom and tied it up. He tossed it into an empty food bag on the floor before tucking himself back into his underwear. Goody watched in misery the whole time. She wanted that dick, and she wanted it now.
“Put your seatbelt on and open up for me.” He looked at her only for a second before going back to the road as he pulled out of the parking lot.
Trying to be stubborn, Goody opened her legs only a little, definitely not enough space for his big hand. Jerrico softly pinched her thigh.
“Wider, open some more.”
Goody smiled when he winked at her and opened her legs. Jerrico’s hand found its way there, and instead of dipping inside of her like he’d done previous times, he simply rubbed it for her. It wasn’t much, but it held her over until they got to his house. He literally played in it the whole time he drove, even making her cum twice more.
“I like the way you cum for me over and over like that.”
Goody’s hand grabbed his wrist and stopped the movement. “I can’t do it anymore.”
“Yes, you can. I’m finna show you.”
They exited the car and headed into his building hand and hand. Goody was happy the lobby was empty because she was sure they looked like fresh sex. She giggled. Who was she kidding? She didn’t give a fuck. She’d promised herself that the next man she actually took seriously, she was going to be her super freaky self, and Jerrico made her feel safe enough to do that. In her mind, she was game, but in her heart, she prayed he wouldn’t prove her wrong.
“I don’t know what I’m doing here.” Forever stood in front of Marcellus’ dresser watching him undress.
He’d removed his shoes and shirt, leaving him in nothing but his slacks, socks, and briefs. His chest was bare, and his belt was hanging open from both sides of his pants. Not sure what she was expecting him to say at that moment, Marcellus said nothing. He’d been so busy mentally preparing himself to take it there with her that he honestly didn’t even have the fight in him to persuade her to stay if she decided not to.
“If you’re not comfortable, I can take you home,” he finally said.
Forever’s small frame leaned casually against his dresser. Her long legs led to crossed ankles. “No, I don’t want that,” she whispered while looking at him.
“Tell me what you want.”
Forever took a deep breath and sashayed her way to him. Still in her heels from the club, they stood face to face. Her smell invaded his nostrils as her hands rubbed from his chest to his shoulders. He stood there, allowing her to familiarize herself with him.
“Why do I feel like I know you?”
“I feel it too.”
He observed the curve of her eyelashes as she stood closely in his face. “Do you think that’s a good or bad thing?”
Marcellus didn’t answer but kissed her instead. They remained tongue-tied until he picked her up and laid her back on the bed. Her legs wrapped around him as soon as he was positioned above her. He might not have had much to say, but he knew what he wanted to do. Since he was growing and stretching against the fabric of his pants, Marcellus pulled away to make himself more comfortable. He finished undressing before removing her clothing as well.
“Can you make some noise for me?” Forever was leaning back on her elbows, watching him fiddle with the condom wrapper.
“I don’t do that.”
“I noticed.” She smiled and rubbed her legs together in anticipation. “We’ll see if we can change that.”
Marcellus smiled and looked down to make sure they were protected from each other. Forever watched the entire time, objecting to nothing. It was weird to him how game she had been to come back to his place for sex after his screw up at Goody’s. He’d been mad with himself for hours about that one, embarrassed even. He’d never been the type of nigga to bust that fast, but her pussy did it to him every time. Their first night had been the same way. He was determined not to have a rerun of that.
“Are you staying with me tonight?”
Forever nodded and lay completely back once he moved toward her.
“Good.” he grabbed himself and led it to her body.
Though Marcellus wouldn’t tell her this, he was hoping she stayed all night in case he got in the pussy and lost his mind like he’d done every other time. He wouldn’t stop until he showed her what he was capable of. He didn’t care what he had to do or how many rounds he had to go.
“Fuck me good, okay?” Her eyes searched his for reassurance.
Marcellus stared at her below him and nodded before pushing in. All formalities went out of the window after that.
“I’m scared,” Forever looked him in the eyes and said.
Marcellus wasn’t big on talking, so versus allowing her to wallow in it, he pushed deeper and kissed her mouth.
“Why?”
“I don’t know. Everything with you seems so personal, and I can’t explain why.”
“You don’t want to get personal with me?”
“I don’t know.” She exhaled.
With a hard thrust of his hips, Forever’s words were cut short. The way her breath left her body made Marcellus want to enter her a million times a day… and he would until he figured her out. Because there was something about Forever Maverick that felt personal to him too.
Chapter Nine
I’m About to Show You What Best Is
The smell of cinnamon and vanilla extract wafted up Jerrico’s nose as he stood in front of his stove, making breakfast. Goody had told him the night before that her favorite food in the morning was French toast, so the moment he woke up, he’d cleaned himself and got to work. He wasn’t sure how much longer she would be asleep, but he’d just wake her once he was done.
They’d had an amazing night together, and he anticipated an even better day. He’d called Heather as soon as his feet hit the floor that morning to let her know he was taking the day off. Of course, she was elated since she spent the majority of their time together, scolding him about taking some time for himself. Though he hadn’t planned anything too spectacular yet, he had a small day date planned for him and Goody.
He hoped she’d be down for it since her attitude fluctuated so much. One minute she was good, the next she was Medusa’s little sister. With all his might, he took her cousin’s advice and tried to make her crazy about the dick. Whether or not it had worked, he’d have to wait and see.
“Good morning, handsome.” Goody’s arms snaked around his waist, startling him. She snickered when he jumped. “Sorry.” A quick peck to the center of his bare back relaxed him before she walked away.
Jerrico looked over his shoulder so he could see her. The blue hair was gone and had been replaced with a large bun of dark hair. Judging by the size of the ball on her head, she obviously had a lot of her own hair. A black tank top covered her body and stopped just beneath her butt.
“You wear my clothes better than me.” He smiled, and she blushed.
Her bare face had a beautiful morning glow to it, or maybe it was that after sex glow. Either way, she was shining, and he appreciated it. Seeing a black woman truly happy because of the man she was with only added to her beauty. Happiness looked superb on all women, but since black women had his heart, he was biased. Paradise was the perfect example of why he loved them the most.
She was in her most natural state and making it hard for him to breathe. “You always look this pre
tty when you wake up in the morning?”
Goody moved to the island and hopped on it. Her small butter pecan thighs spread out across the ceramic top, making him appreciate her body even more.
“Stop it, I look a mess.”
“No, you don’t.” Jerrico took her toast out and placed it on the plate before taking a minute to turn around and approach her.
“I used your toothbrush,” she hurried to get out. “I looked around everywhere for another one and couldn’t find anything. Sorry.” She covered her face and peeked through her fingers.
Jerrico was blown away by the obvious comfort she felt with him. He was no fan of sharing his personal things, but for her to do it, he’d accept it as intimacy, and he’d never get tired of sharing that with her.
“You’re good, bae. You don’t have to hide.”
Still peeking through the gaps in her fingers, Goody smirked. “You sure?”
“Positive.”
“Good. I thought you were going to be mad or say something that might piss me off. You know how y’all men can get with y’all stuff.” Goody dropped her hands and rolled her eyes. “Will put your face all up and through my pussy, even licking my ass if I like that, but get in y’all feelings about small stuff like sharing straws or the same face rag.” Goody shook her head. “That’s stupid. I’m glad you’re not stupid like that.”
Jerrico stood between her legs, watching her ramble. When she finally stopped, he smiled and pecked her nose before walking back to the stove.
“I’m glad I’m not stupid too.”
“What you making?” She leaned over, trying to peek around his body to see the stove.
“I thought your mouth was only that filthy when you rapped, but you really don’t care what you say, do you?”
Goody was quiet, so he turned around to look at her. When he did, she was laughing. “I did kind of go off just now, huh?”
“Yeah, you did.” He chuckled while sprinkling cinnamon and powdered sugar on her toast. “Even if I wanted to say something about you using my toothbrush, I would have changed my mind after that.”
Goody was laughing when she shrugged and moved her legs so that Jerrico could place the food next to her. He watched the way her eyes got big when she noticed what he’d made her.
“Hungry?”
“Starved! You fucked the shit out of me.” She picked up one of the sliced strawberries from the plate and dropped it into her mouth.
Jerrico’s deep laughter resonated even heavier because he was laughing so hard. Goody watched in amusement. When he finally got a hold of himself, he placed a kiss on her mouth before he picked her up and carried her to the barstool on the opposite side of the counter. Once he’d placed the food in front of her, he grabbed the orange juice and yogurt from the refrigerator.
Though the spread was probably too much for just two people, he couldn’t help himself. Cooking was an art that he took personally, no matter how big or small the party. Paradise was a special case, though. He was in the process of trying to impress her, so he’d pull out the big guns every single time. The way her eyes lit up right then, he knew he was doing a good job.
“I’m going to be fat fooling with you. I love to eat.”
“And I love to feed you.”
“I know, that’s why I’ma be fat.”
“You won’t be fat. You’ll just be happy and healthy. Maybe even grow that li’l ass some more.”
Goody giggled and hit his arm. “Don’t call my butt little.”
“It is little. It’s fat for your size, but it’s little.” Jerrico winked at her while pouring syrup across her bread. “I like it. I actually might need to lay off the food and the dick before it gets bigger.”
“Why you don’t want it to be big?” Goody was smiling like a bashful teenager. “Don’t tell me you’re a hater.”
Jerrico was so happy with her current attitude. It was so much easier to deal with. Not that he would ever shy away from her mean streak, but the nice side of her was just more intriguing.
“Hater? Never. If anything, I’m your biggest fan. I’m for whatever makes you happy. I was just saying that because it ain’t no telling how bad you’ll do me if your ass gets big. You do me dirty with the li’l one you got now. Hips and ass start spreading, all my chances will get shot to hell.”
The way she laughed made him happy. So happy that he didn’t even feel compelled to join in. He just wanted to watch. Her slanted eyes were closed, and her smile nearly touched her ears. It had spread so big across her face that the genuineness of it couldn’t have been denied with somebody else’s eyes. She’d even covered her nose and part of her mouth with her fingers. The long, bright nails were a subtle favorite of his as well.
“No, they will not, don’t say that. I like you.”
“Do you? I didn’t notice.”
More beautiful laughter flowed across their food.
“You’re just lying now. I show you how much I like you.”
“If this is you liking me, I’d hate to see the hate.”
“You make me sick.” Goody grabbed his hand. “Just say the grace.”
Jerrico followed her lead and bowed his head. “Father God, thank you today for this beautiful food and this beautiful company. I pray that it nourishes our souls the way Paradise nourishes mine. Above all, we thank you and are more than appreciative for this emerging union. Lastly, God, please keep Goody happy today so that she’ll have mercy on me and actually be nice for a change. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
When he raised his head, she was smiling. “I should slap you. You even make me out to be a bad person to God. Who does that?” Her white teeth shined in his direction.
“Man, listen, God knows what I’m dealing with. He knows I’ma need his help today.”
Goody took the first bite of her food and closed her eyes. “This is so good, oh my gah.” She started back chewing. “What’s today? What you got going on? I hear you keep throwing hints out.”
Jerrico swallowed before answering her. “I want to take you on a date. I know you said you don’t date, but I figured I could expose you to something different today. Dating is fun.”
“Maybe. Where we going?”
“It’s a surprise. We’ll have to grab you some clothes, though.”
“I told you to let me get them last night, but you were so hot in the pants that you couldn’t even let me do that.”
Jerrico dropped his fork and wiped his mouth with his napkin. “Me? Hot in the pants? Wasn’t that you begging for it? I couldn’t even drive us home without you hopping on my lap. Fast ass.” Jerrico pointed his finger at her smiling face. “I knew by the music that you make that you were a hot li’l thing, but damn, I ain’t know it was like that.”
Goody pushed his face playfully. “Shut up!”
“Say I’m lying.”
“You’re not, but I’m not ashamed.” She sipped her juice. “I’m only going to get worse since I’ve gotten it. I want some right now, but I’m trying to act civilized.”
“Civilized?” A smile danced in Jerrico’s eyes.
Goody nodded straight faced. “But, after I eat and get some more energy, it’s on. You coming up off that, and I’m not playing with you, so don’t even think about saying no.”
Jerrico’s insides turned at the thought of more sex with her, but he had to suppress it for now. Whether she knew it or not, Goody was a sensitive case right then. Fresh out of a bad marriage, she had to be careful with her feelings, and since she didn’t seem to be doing that, he had to. He’d give her all the dick she wanted, whenever she wanted, but he’d prefer she get to know him better first. Establish some chemistry.
“You don’t want to get to know me better first? What if you get crazy about the sex and it clouds the way you see me, the man?”
She continued eating, probably pondering over what he’d said.
“Do you want a relationship right now? Or just fun?”
She stopped eating and just sat there loo
king desolate. Jerrico used her fork to grab some of the French toast and put it to her mouth. Her lips parted enough for him to put the food in. The drastic change in her attitude was the exact reason he needed to pump the brakes on what they were doing. He didn’t want her to end up hurt again, nor did he plan to injure his own feelings.
“Paradise, stop acting out and answer my question.”
“I’m not acting out.”
“You’re pouting and not talking anymore. Why?”
She shrugged.
“You do know.”
“I guess…” She stopped and shrugged again. “I don’t know.”
“You know, you just don’t want to tell me. That’s not good for either of us, so let me know what’s on your mind.”
She paused and looked off into the distance. Jerrico watched her intently, so when water glossed over her eyeballs, he noticed it right away. Almost impatiently waiting, Jerrico rubbed up and down her arm, encouraging her to speak without saying anything. Sometimes people didn’t need words, they just needed presence. Him being there and letting her know that he was would be good enough when she was ready to talk.
“I’m not really a fan of relationships at the moment.” She looked at him with wild eyes. “I like you, though.”
“I like you too. Tell me why you’re not a fan of relationships because I think if we keep this pace, that’s where we’ll be headed.”
“My ex-husband ruined me. I’m so different emotionally, mentally, and spiritually now. So much of me was lost in that marriage, and parts of me I no longer want back, but some… I’ll miss because they’re gone forever.”
“Like what?”
“I’m stronger now. Much stronger and wiser. Some of the stuff I allowed him to do, I’ll never accept again. From any man.” She looked at him for emphasis. “Ever. I think after you get your heart broken one good time, that’s all it takes. Even if you love again, it’ll never be as deep.” Goody pushed the food around her plate absentmindedly. “My ex-husband took advantage of the person I was and dragged me until I wasn’t myself anymore then complained about me changing when it was his fault, to begin with.”
