Snow nodded. “It's unfortunate but it makes sense. There is probably some magic interfering. Still, is that the only news you have for me?"

"Yes. Well, no. I also can successfully travel via mirror but I have a feeling that you weren't asking about that..."

She sighed, a sound that had clearly been exaggerated for my sake and her sense of humor. "I thought you were going to tell me I was getting a sibling."

  I blinked. "Wait, what?"

"You need to get to it, Dallin. I want them to be older than my children."

  "What?"

  Dallin smirked. "Understood, your majesty."

"Hold on just one minute young lady!"

"Oh! Look at the time. I have an appointment. Don’t worry, no one can enter this room without permission. Have fun!" She hurried out of the room and left me with my husband.

My husband who was stalking toward me with quite a bit of fire in his blue-green eyes. "Well, you heard your daughter. We best get started, my queen.”

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

S.R. Nulton, also known as Sarah Rose, is a true California native. She was born in southern California, raised in northern California, and went to college on the central coast. She has written off and on since junior high, but truly got into it again when she was working at school over summer in college. She was too broke to buy a new story to read so she started writing her own to stay entertained. The rest is history. Or it will be in about two decades.
