Built For A Tank (The Rulers of Darkness MC Book 2) Page 13

by Belle Winters

I blushed scarlet, the bastard. “put me down… let me change.” I said through clenched teeth.

  “Nope.”

  “Tank.”

  “Danny.”

  “Come on…” I whined.

  “No.”

  “Why?”

“I told you already. Don’t start fucking with me now Danny. You ain’t going to be pulling shit on me and getting your way. You wanna stomp your feet and act like a child I’m going to treat you like one. I know you want daddy’s hands on you, but food first.” He teased.

My cock jerked. “Mmm. My boy likes that. You wanna call me daddy baby?” he asked in a voice like he was talking to a child.

I didn’t want to admit how much I liked the reference, so I didn’t respond. Plus, I didn’t like the teasing note in his voice when I very much in fact did. He was laughing and bouncing me on his shoulder, and I couldn’t stay mad at him. I was laughing too and then he stopped dead in his tracks, and his laughter seemed to die on his lips. He let me down, but it seemed as though he ensured I had no choice but to let my body brush against him. He gave me a small squeeze just as my toes touched the floor before releasing me.

“So… when did this happen?” an amused voice asked.

I turned to see Angie sitting at the breakfast bar with a huge grin on her face. I was suddenly fully aware of my arousal and refused to turn her way. “I’m just going to clean up, and I’ll be back,” I said and practically ran back to my room for a cold shower and a pair of dry underwear.

When I got back downstairs, they were both nursing a mug of coffee and chatting. “Want?” Tank asked as he nodded towards the coffee pot when he spotted me.

  “Yes please.”

He went about fixing me a cup, and I took a seat beside Ang. “Hey, baby girl.” I greeted her and gave her a kiss to the temple.

She grinned. “Morning Joey.” She looked over to Tank as he slid a mug my way. “I was just talking to Paul, and he won’t spill the beans… what is going on?” she asked.

I took a large gulp of coffee. “What are you talking about?” I asked.

She gave me a knowing look. “You know what I’m talking about…” She gestured between Tank and me. “You two are what I’m talking about.”

  I blushed. “Nothing… I just – I don’t know what you mean.” I rambled.

She sighed. “You were never a good liar. Fine. You don’t want to kiss and tell then don’t. but I’m sure there was definitely some kissing.”

I got up out of my chair extremely uncomfortable with my baby sister questioning my love life. “You hungry?” I asked her.

  “I am.” Tank said.

I looked over at him and narrowed my eyes. “I don’t believe I was talking to you.”

He grinned, and his eyes danced with mischief. “Hmm.” He said and walked towards the sink with his mug. On his way past me, he pinched my ass causing me to jump and yelp.

Angie hooted. “I knew it! I totally knew you were gonna be my brother in law one day.” She said to Tank.

He laughed, and I paled. “What do you mean?” I asked.

She rolled her eyes. “Sure, I was young, but I knew you guys were in love with each other. Nobody treated each other the way you two did… not even our parents. So, no need to try to pretend for me brother dearest.”

I groaned. “I think I liked it better when you couldn’t speak.”

She stuck her tongue out at me. “Get over it.”

“Well, I’m just going to make some breakfast then…” I said turning to the fridge. I used to feed my brother and sisters when we were younger, and I have reacquainted myself with the kitchen since we moved in.

Angie stood up and stretched. “Mind if I wash up?” she asked.

I shrugged. “Have at it. You can borrow a t-shirt and sweats from my room when you’re done.”

She shook her head. “I forgot about that.”

“Where are you staying?” I asked her.

She looked away. “I umm… don’t have a place per say. I stay where I can.”

I frowned. “So, what are you going to do?”

She shrugged. “Same thing I always do… I’ll just figure it out as I go.”

I looked over at Tank and made up my mind. “You can stay here with us.”

Tank’s eyebrow rose in amusement. “Is that right?” he asked.

“Yes,” I said through clenched teeth.

“Already trying to put your foot down huh?” he asked teasing me.

I rolled my eyes. “Quit it. She’ll stay?” I said more of a question this time. I did want to make sure he was alright with it.

“of course. I’m messing with you.” He turned to Angie. “I would love it if you stayed here with us.”

  She smiled at him. “Thanks.”

“So, where’s your stuff? We’re going to have to pick it up.”

She shook her head. “Nothing that I have is worth going back for.”

“Why don’t you take her over to Sia and see if she has a couple of things she can borrow until we can go grab her some stuff?” Tank offered.

I nodded. “Sounds like a good idea.”

“It’s settled then.” Tank said. “You…” he pointed at Angie. “Go wash your funky ass.” He turned to me. “And you pretty boy, get my food going.”

Angie laughed as she made her way upstairs and I just rolled my eyes.

I began mixing the pancake batter when I felt Tank behind me. He put both hands on my hips and kissed my neck. “You got a little attitude this morning… I think you need a spanking.” He whispered against my skin.

I shivered. “Tank… I’m trying to cook.” I argued weakly.

“I know. You don’t have to stop what you’re doing so that I can fondle you. I can do this all on my own.”

I moaned and leaned back, pushing my butt against his erection. “Fuck Danny… do you know how much I want you?” he asked.

I turned around to face him. His arms wrapped around my back pulling me into him. “how much?” I asked.

I know at the time I sounded needed always asking him why about everything… sometimes fishing for compliments but I’ve gone so long without being seen. I was invisible even when being used… I was just a hole. With Tank, he sees me. I mean something and that is the best feeling in the world.

He ground his hips against mine rubbing his erection against my growing one. “You feel that hmm?” he asked as he leaned down and bit my lip. I moaned, and he captured my lips with his.

The kiss was sweet and slow one second and the next it was powerful and hungry. I found myself trying to climb Tank wanting more, needing to be closer. He matched my need with his own and devoured my mouth completely. He lifted me and placed me down on the table. “We’re not going to be able to live like this,” I told him as he broke the kiss.

“Like what?” he asked. His hands and lips never leaving my body.

“Horny all the time. We won’t get anything done.”

He looked up at me and grinned. “I don’t see anything wrong with that.” He bit my neck, and my head rolled back. “I could touch you all fucking day.”

The things he was doing to me were driving me absolutely crazy. I wanted to feel him inside of me for the first time. I wanted to feel fully claimed and wanted by him. I opened my mouth to beg for as much when there was a knock on the door.

Tanks head dropped down. “Fuck!” he roared as a second knock came.

I jumped down from the table. “I’ll finish breakfast, and you get the door,” I told him.

He looked at me with eyes full of longing and lust, and I knew the feeling. I needed him just as much. “I’m going to fuck up whoever that is.” He grumbled as he stomped off.

I laughed and went back to breakfast. I barely had the bowl back in my hands when Tanks voice boomed through the house. “FUCK NO!”

I almost dropped the bowl but caught it at the last minute. I made my way over to the door to see what was going on. Rip was on th
e other side talking to raging Tank. “What’s going on?” I asked.

Rip looked at me. “I just came here to check on Angie.”

I folded my arms. “What do you think I was going to do something to my sister?” I asked.

He held his hands up. “No. no, it ain’t nothing like that. I told you that I kind of know her from around… I just worry about her is all.”

  I frowned. “Why?” I asked.

He shrugged. “Fucking beats me. She just don’t seem like the normal street bitches… like she needs someone.”

That shit pierced me. Here we were giving Rip shit for looking out for my sister when we weren’t there for her. “She’s washing up and stuff right now, you can come in and wait for her. I’m making breakfast.”

Air left him in a whoosh of relief. “Thank you.” He said stepping inside.

Tank looked ready to argue, but I fixed him with a hard glare warning him not to. He growled and slammed the door shut. His shoulder bumped roughly against mine as he passed me and went up to his room. Well whatever, I don’t give a fuck if he didn’t like it.

Rip watched quietly, and I led him to the kitchen. “You want some coffee or something?” I asked.

  He shrugged. “Sure.”

I fixed him a cup and then returned to making breakfast. “Tank’s pissed.” He stated.

  “I know.”

“I would keep my distance. He doesn’t like to be overruled.” He warned.

I rolled my eyes. “Who cares? He’s being a child right now.”

Rip cleared his throat. “Can I uh… ask you about something?”

“Sure,” I answered as I began to heat up the skillet for the pancakes and take out the bacon. When he didn’t say anything, I turned towards him, and he was looking at me with a deep frown marring his features.

  “Something wrong?” I asked.

He drained his glass and got up to put it in the sink. He leaned against the counter and crossed his arms. “Is there something going on with you and Tank?” he asked.

I blushed. Surely, it couldn’t be that obvious. “why do you ask that?”

“Oh, come on. The man is crazy over you. He threatened me for giving you a ride and… I don’t know. I see how you are with him as well.” He explained.

“Would it matter either way?” I asked.

“Yes… no.” I frowned. “In general no, it doesn’t. I wasn’t hitting on you or anything like that… but it would just put things into perspective to me. You two are confusing as shit, and sometimes it’s like walking on eggshells with the two of ya. Nobody knows what boundaries there are.”

“What do you mean nobody?” I asked.

“People at the club. The guys think you’re cool and shit, but the way Tank is so overly protective of you they are afraid to talk to you and shit. Not afraid, just trying to avoid shit. We all know you went through some shit too… so no one wants to scare you off.” I told him.

“Nobody has any reason to want to talk to him.” I looked up to see Tank clearing the final steps.

Rip turned towards him. “Dude, there’s nothing really wrong with just talking to him.”

Tank scoffed. “There is when you want something from him. So, what is it Rip? I warned your ass already… is there something you’re looking for?” he asked.

Rip sighed and shook his head. I could tell he was annoyed and I kind of was too. There was no need for him to get all caveman because someone is nice to me. “Tank quit it.”

Tank walked up to me and grabbed me by the back of my neck. “No. Why do you need to talk to any of them anyway?” he asked.

I rolled my eyes. “Oh… I don’t know. So that I can have normal human interactions?” I said sarcastically.

“Talk to me then.” He suggested.

I sighed. “That’s just stupid. We can talk later when I’m not cooking, and I can give you my undivided attention to explain to you in graphic detail why it is important that I speak to someone other than you.”

He rolled his eyes. “No thank you… talk away.” He said with an attitude.

I swatted at him, and he laughed then leaned down giving me a hard-chaste kiss. When he stepped back, and Rip was watching with a knowing look I blushed. “That wasn’t really necessary Tank. I got the message loud and clear a very long time ago. I was just waiting for you to piss on him in front of me to drive the point home.”

I laughed, and Tank released me. “Go fuck yourself.” He said flipping Rip off and pulled out some orange juice. “How long Dan?” he asked.

“Few minutes, almost done. Can you get some orange juice and plates and stuff?” I asked.

“Yes, darling. Is there anything else that I can do for you?” Tank asked sarcastically.

I shook my head. “No, that will be all. You may leave.” I answered to him and was rewarded with a dish towel being thrown to my face.

“Lucky, I like you.” He muttered, and boy was I.

  *****

  Tank

As pissed as I was from Rip showing up at my door, I was grateful. I’d left my bike at the club last night and could use the ride. The fuck took pleasure in making me ride shotgun to his cocky ass.

We ate breakfast, and I left Danny and Angie up to their own devices. He said he was going to head over to Sia’s, so I’m sure trouble will ensue at some point. When we got to the club, I immediately went to Psycho’s office.

  “Sup.”

Psycho looked up from the paper he was reading. “How is everything?” he asked with a frown.

I shrugged. “Ahh…” I plopped down in the chair across from him. “Figuring shit out.”

He nodded. “How’s the girl doing?”

I shrugged. “Honestly, I have no fucking clue. This morning she seemed normal. After she got herself cleaned up, she was like the girl I remember.” I shook my head. “Fucking weird if you ask me.”

He nodded. “She was high as fuck yesterday, and she was just alright this morning?”

I scoffed. “Yea. I don’t know what the fuck.”

Psycho leaned forward. “How’d you know her? Danny’s sister…” he trailed off.

I knew this was coming. “So, you remember the boy I grew up with I told you about?”

  “Yea.”

“He’s the one… that I uh, lost it over.” I confessed. “You remember that time?”

Psycho’s face went dark. I knew he hated Joey for what his leaving did to me. How fucked up I was. “how the fuck could I forget?” he asked.

  I groaned. “Yea, well… that’s his sister.”

He shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Fuck! Do I need to be worried?” he asked.

I frowned. “Worried about what?” I asked.

He looked at me as though I was dense. “You fucking know why? That girl showing back up in your life. Is that going to fuck you up over him again?”

I understood his concern. “No. I think I’m good.” I answered him honestly.

He watched me skeptical and looked like he was going to interrogate me but paused. “Wait… Danny is her brother… so you have two family members here now?” he asked. “I don’t fucking like this Tank.”

I held up my hand. “So, the thing is… Danny isn’t Danny.”

His eyes bugged out of his head. “Alright, I think we may need to get rid of them. You’re already losing it.” He said seriously.

I laughed. “No. what I mean is… he goes by Danny. Now. But his name is Joseph.”

“Who gives a flying fuck about that?” he asked.

I knew I had to tell him, but his intense concern for me made me hesitate. I wasn’t exactly sure how he was going to take the news. “Joseph is the boy from my past… the one who left me. Danny is him, Alex.”

His jaw dropped open. “Hold the fuck up and rewind. So, all this time…. Danny is the one who fucked up your head almost to the point of no return. Somehow ends back up in your life as another person – who I might add I know you’re crazy over – and you’
re okay with all this. When the fuck was you going to tell me?”

He was pissed. “I just found out that Danny and Joey were the same person when Ang showed up yesterday. Everything with Danny was just its own thing, although I feel like somehow I always knew somewhere.” I shook my head. “You know, he never even ran away…”

Prez frowned. “But that’s what you said.”

I nodded. “That’s what I thought. Angie… his sister was sold by their father to that son of a bitch Acid. When he couldn’t find any other way to keep her home, he offered himself instead. He’s been with them from the moment he left until we got him out.” I sank down into my seat further until I was practically hanging off the chair. “I fucking love that little son of a bitch.”

“Holy shit.” Was all he could say.

  “You can say that again…”

He grinned. “So… you’re together now huh?” he asked.

I couldn’t help my smile. “Yea you dick head.”

“I fucking called it. I knew it you lying sack of shit.” He said with a shit-eating grin.

  “Fuck you.”

“Ha. No thanks, but you can give it to Danny.” He joked.

I stood up and rolled my eyes. “I’m done talking to you now. I’ve got a date.”

He looked at me curiously. “Is that right? May I ask what date has you, now, bouncing on your toes?” he asked.

I grinned. “I do believe that Misty is somewhere waiting for me.”

He grinned back. “Do you have anything interesting planned for her?” he asked.

I sighed. “Unfortunately, nothing that would make me happy. I’ve got to keep it tame cause I’ve got to go to your house straight from here. I have to stay clean, and I ain’t got shit here.”

“Fuck you going to my house for?” he asked.

“Danny said he was going over with his sister. She ain’t have shit… they need to do some shopping. They’re recruiting some help.” I informed him happily.

Psycho dropped his head on the desk with a groan. “Fuck. Me.” He looked at me and shook his head. “Swear to fuck if I get another call from the fucking police or some type of security I’m going to have your ass for it.”
