His Curvy Surprise (Alpha Colorado Firefighters Book 4)

“Hi, Dad.”
“What’s going on?” he asked.
I hesitated. “I dunno, just checking in, seeing how you’re doing.”
“You usually call me at home. Or text. Is everything okay?”
“Yeah,” I lied.
“Hey, what’s this I hear about you photographing a sexy firefighter calendar?”
My breath caught in my throat as my knees about gave out. “I can explain. I was filling in for a friend.”
Dad laughed. “I think it’s hilarious.”
I sighed. “Oh.”
“And a great charity. I’m only jealous I wasn’t included.”
“You’re handsome, Dad. But that would’ve been an awkward shoot for me.”
“Nobody is asking for an over-the-hill firefighter calendar.”
“That could be a hit in the nursing homes,” I said. “Speaking of convalescing—how are the new recruits doing?”
“I gave them today off. I thought it would be good to get them used to the odd schedule rotations we have in our line of work.” It felt like a punch to the gut knowing Cody was off but I couldn’t see him.
“Well, I’m glad you aren’t miffed about the calendar. The extra money helps.”
“Sweetheart, I’ll tell you what I am miffed about.”
He didn’t sound upset. “What?” I asked.
“That my best recruit, with the greatest potential for leadership is now operating under an ultimatum.”
“Huh?” I figured he was talking about Cody but it made little sense.
“I told him if he hurts you, I’m kicking his ass to Wyoming.”
“What are you saying, Dad?”
“I’m giving you two my blessing to be together. But he’d better treat my girl like a princess.”
“Dad, Cody’s an amazing man. Thank you.”
“Love you, kid.”
“Love you too, Dad.”
Before I hit the ‘end’ button on the call, I heard him shout. “Dad, what is it?”
“One more thing—when you hang up, go check your backyard. Bye, sweetie.”
My backyard featured one scraggly bush and a giant dirt area where nothing would grow. What was I supposed to check back there?
When I peeked out the window, I saw a small green tent. What the fuck? Is that a homeless person camped out there?
I opened the back door a few inches. “Hello? Who’s out there? I’ll call the cops.”
The tent walls shook, then the zipper opened on the front panel. Cody stuck his head out along with a handful of roses. “Did you talk to your father?” he asked.
“Yes. Why are you camped out back here?”
“I was hoping the timing would work. It all hinged on you calling him.”
“And he was in on this,” I said.
“Well? Are you going to be my woman or what?” Cody stood out of the tent.
“You’re sure you want to do this?”
Cody nodded. “I’ve never been so sure of anything.”
“You’ll be ruined in this fire local if it doesn’t work out.”
“Your father made that clear. I’m not worried. I can be all the man you need and then some. If I fucked up, which I won’t, I’d deserve to be exiled to work in a diarrhea hospital or something.”
I laughed. “Well, then. Get your ass back in the tent.”
Cody turned his head to the side and raised an eyebrow, holding the flowers toward me. “What?”
I walked down the back steps. “Get back in the tent.”
Cody crawled back in and I followed. He set down the flowers and embraced me. Our kiss threatened to melt the zippers off the tent.
“Can you keep your moaning and screaming to a minimum?” Cody asked.
“Why’s that?” I whispered.
“The old woman who lives behind you is working in her garden right now. I don’t want her to hear what I’m about to do to you.”
My entire body tingled as blood rushed to my pussy. It felt naughty to pull my pants off in the outdoors where a slight chance existed of being caught.
“I’m gonna eat you,” Cody said. “I want to taste your sweet juices.”
“Well, I want to taste you as you come endlessly in my mouth,” I said as my breathing became more labored.
“There’s only one solution to that.”
Even with our height differential, Cody only had to curl up a little to reach his tongue into my pussy as I laid on top of him sucking him off.
The thrill of being back together with Cody felt even better than the squirting I did on his face as I came. I shoved my fist into my mouth and bit down to avoid screaming expletives my poor neighbor could hear.
As my spasms died down, I finished Cody. I’d never tire of feeling his cock swell extra large right before unloading. The entire process seemed magical to me.
We ended up napping together in the tent. He was exhausted from the first several days of training and needed rest to recoup his strength.
As the sun got lower in the sky, I pushed Cody awake. “Hey. The roads are clear in the mountains. Let’s go get that two-wheel-drive car of mine.”
Cody kissed me. “Thank God for snowy mountain roads.”
I’d heard said many times that people can’t or won’t change. Cody was proof that it was possible. He had grown up to be almost too much man for me to handle.
Epilogue
Alyssa
Ten months later
“Say ‘pizza’. Or ‘mocha’.” I knew the young baby couldn’t say a damn thing, but I tried hard to get her to smile.
“Are those your favorite foods?” the mother asked me.
“Well, yeah, who doesn’t like those? But words that end in that sound give a more natural smile than the old ‘cheese’ standby.”
“If my baby says any words today, don’t take a picture after I crap my pants.”
I laughed as the mother rattled toys in front of her daughter’s face. After ten minutes of trying everything, I caught several great frames of her sweet smile.
When I first became a freelance photographer, I didn’t like to do baby portraits. The fear of ‘baby rabies’ was too strong. The idea scared the bejeesus out of me.
After being with Cody going on ten months, I looked forward to the day we made a child together. I was on my last pack of birth control pills. He ditched the condoms a couple of months back. The following month, we planned on letting nature take its course.
We had already talked about getting married. After shooting so many weddings, I didn’t want to go through a big ceremony myself. We planned on making it official at the justice of the peace with only a few close friends and family as witnesses. No date had been set, but it might as well have been written in stone.
I’d stopped renting the small house I was in and moved in with Cody the month before. After the photo shoot, I was craving pizza, so I whipped up a crust from scratch when I got home. I threw toppings and cheese on top and hoped to time it so Cody would walk in as the pizza was coming out of the oven.
Like clockwork, he strolled in with his massive thighs at 6:30. “How was practice?” I asked.
“Great. They’re gonna have one hell of a passing attack this season.”
On Cody’s days off from the firehouse, he worked as a volunteer coach with the quarterbacks at a local college. He hoped to be a paid coach someday at a higher level. If anyone ever came knocking, he’d have to decide whether to remain a firefighter or chase his dream of coaching. He had already attained the rank of captain, so the potential for higher positions would factor in his decision.
“After we eat dinner, do you want to burn off more calories?” I winked.
“You bet I do,” Cody said.
We couldn’t keep our hands off each other. I wouldn’t mind if that lasted until we were too old and feeble to get each other off. I belonged to the sexiest firefighter on earth, which I would never get used to.
