Manuel Diotte contracted cancer at the age of seven and was given six months to live. Howard J. Fuerst, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1949. He spent two years in the U.S. Air Force and then entered the practice of internal medicine in Hollywood, Florida. He retired from this practice in 1986. Eileen Brown O’Riley was born in Brooklyn, New York, and has overcome many obstacles, including breast cancer and surgery.
