Brendan smiled, but his eyes were sad as he watched her struggling. “Why do you keep fighting it, Eryn? Acknowledge it, accept it, welcome it.”

“Acknowledge what?” She hissed when he pulled back until only the tip was seated in her. “Damn it, what do you want, Brendan?”

“You,” he said with a roar as he slammed his full length into her.

Eryn screamed as another orgasm ripped through her. She dug her nails into his shoulders and shook as she waited for the sensation to ease enough to lower her legs.

Brendan grabbed her thighs instead, and lifted them over his shoulders. He slid in and out of her with such a slow pace that she wiggled and tried to push against him. Her desire hadn't eased and was worse now than it was a few minutes ago.

“I heard you and Liam outside. I heard him tell you it wasn't safe to come inside. I heard you ask where I was. You knew. You realized who I was, and you made the decision to come inside and find me. You would have searched the entire house. Torn it apart, probably. Why, Eryn? Why did you come inside and seek me out? To see if the sex would be as good as the dreams?”

“No!” she shouted and shook her head. “It wasn't about the sex.”

“Then what was it about?” he asked as he continued to slowly glide in and out of her saturated sex.

“I…I…” Eryn stuttered as she clenched around him again. As the signs of another orgasm began to creep through her body, she bucked, trying to throw him off of her. She'd never be sated, all because of that damned faerie. She'd probably taken his desire and given Eryn both doses.

  “Eryn.”

She struggled to focus on him, but his image blurred as tremors began to work their way through her body.

“Why didn't you run away from the house when you realized I was real?”

Her body shook and she closed her eyes. Eryn arched her back and panted. Without warning, Brendan increased the strength of his thrusts, ramming into her, stretching and filling her completely until she whimpered. More. She wanted more.

“Oh, Eryn.” His voice sounded so sad and far away.

The faerie's threat replayed in her mind again, and Eryn grabbed on tighter, blinking through the haze, trying to focus on him.

“No, don't take him. I love him!” she shrieked as she exploded, and her world went dark.

  Chapter Four

“So confessing our love was the only way to break the spell?”

Eryn woke to hear Brendan talking to someone. She opened her eyes and wondered at the brightness of the grove. She'd been having sex with him, and then—Eryn held still and searched her emotions and feelings. While there was a desire to be with Brendan and feel him in her arms, and in her, it wasn't like before. It wasn't a burning desire that she couldn't sate. In fact, she felt pleasantly sore and well loved.

“I think she's awake now,” the faerie said. “I'm going to go.”

Eryn sat up and grabbed onto Brendan as soon as she recognized the voice. “No. You can't erase his memory. You can't take him from me.” She trembled as she held on to him tight.

“She said that to scare you into admitting your feelings, but it didn't work.”

  “Admit my feelings?”

The faerie laughed. “I knew that once you two found each other, things would work out.” With a flutter of her wings, she was gone.

“Are you okay?” Brendan scooped her onto his lap and held her close. “You worried me when you fainted. I had to call on the faeries for help again.”

“What?” Her chest tightened and she glanced around the trees. “What did you do now?”

“Nothing.” He laughed and held her tighter. “Maeve explained it all to me. How she used magic to keep us aroused, how they kept my cock hard, and how she kept you from being sore.”

Eryn shuddered. “So did their magic make us love each other?”

He shook his head. “She used it to bring us together. How do you feel about me right now?”

“Right now?” She pulled back and searched his face. Her heart swelled with love as she realized he was right. All those nights they'd spent in the erotic dream world, they'd spent as much time talking as making love. It wasn't just sex that had her longing to see him again. It was Brendan. But the never-ending desire had overpowered her to the point she thought none of it was true.

If it weren't for the faerie's interference, they would have still met, of that she was sure. At Liam and Eileen's wedding, if not sooner. Would she have even considered taking a chance on him, knowing she'd be returning to the States and he'd be here in Ireland? There were long-distance relationships and then long-distance relationships. Without the faerie's intervention she might not have even considered Brendan as an option.

“Eryn.” He sighed and pulled away to look into her eyes.

“Oh, sorry. I love you.” She giggled and nestled against him. “I can tell the spell is gone too.”

“I wonder if Liam and Eileen would mind a double wedding.”

“Double wedding?” She gasped and glanced up at him again.

“No way am I letting you out of my sight until I've made you mine. You'll just have to move to Ireland, love.”

  “Oh, I will, will I?”

“Yes,” he said, then kissed her.

  “No proposal?”

“I'm not giving you a chance to say no.”

“Try me.” She grinned at him.

“Okay, will you marry me, Eryn?”

  “No.”

Brendan growled and rolled her onto the ground, pinning her beneath him. “Wanna try again?”

“No.” Breathless, she met his gaze, her will weakening. She was only teasing, but if he was going to try and convince her to say yes, she'd say no for a little while longer.

“I guess I'll have to try harder.”

“How do you propose to do that?” she asked.

“You'll see,” he whispered. Brendan kissed his way down her stomach, leaving her quivering and breathless.

“Oh, yes.” She sighed and wondered if she would have many more opportunities to make him change her mind in the future.
