Nobody Can Love You Like Them Roughnecks Do 2

“Fuck make you think you know my girl better than me?” He walked up on me, making my assistants pause and gape. “Don’t ever disrespect Blaise again, whether you in my muthafuckin’ presence or not.”

  “Look, bruh—”

“Nah, you look, bruh. Worry about yo’ own bitch, that’s the hoe.”

“Oh, so because I told you about yours, now mine is a hoe? Aight. Whatever makes you feel better.”

  He laughed.

“I don’t give a fuck about another nigga’s personal life to create fables. Yo’ bitch used to suck me up a couple years ago and she’s still asking to. She hits me up almost daily, begging me to break her ass off.” He smirked.

“Get the fuck out of here!” I barked. I knew Dionne, and this nigga was lying like a muthafucka. I knew it. I did. My girl hated Belly, so the last fucking thing she was gon’ be out here doing was begging to fuck with him. “Dionne can’t stand yo’ ass.”

“Maybe she can’t, but she can stand this dick.”

“Look, I get that you’re mad right now because you love old girl, but—”

He was on his phone the whole time I was talking, so I stopped when he showed me his screen with messages from Dionne. He tapped her name to show her information to prove it was her phone number. My skin was heated the fuck up, and my stomach had some deep ass pains.

This whole time, I’d been feeling like shit for fucking hoes behind Dionne’s back, yet here she was being thirsty as fuck and for a damn client of mine. And to make matters worse, the messages weren’t on some fuck buddy type shit; it was like she loved this nigga. That pissed me the fuck off.

“Yeah, well, between me and you, Blaise wanted to get fucked, but I turned—”

  WHAM!

Before my sentence was completed, Belly hit me in the jaw with so much power that I was sure my shit was dislocated. But because I was infuriated, I went back at him, so we started fighting, knocking down some of my expensive ass lights.

I’d never lost a fight in my life, but then again, I’d never fought a muthafucka that had been trained to sneak hits and dodge moves, so by the fifth punch to my face and ribs, I was forced to grab a nearby miniature tripod and go upside this nigga’s head. Blood spewed from his mouth, but thankfully, when he tried to come back at me, two of my male assistants jumped between us.

“Say some bullshit about Blaise again, and I swear on my life, I’ll kill you, bruh.” Belly stared deeply into my eyes. “Me fucking you up was a warning.”

I didn’t have shit to say because I was still in shock from everything. From finding out Dionne was a backstabbing hoe, to me getting into a brawl with somebody I was becoming cool with and also someone who was bringing in the most of my cash.

Belly yanked himself from my assistants, so I gripped the tripod tighter, only to see him walk the other way to get his bag. I couldn’t even look my assistants in the eyes after what had just went down, so once Belly was gone for sure, I just told them to pack everything up and avoided eye contact. Plus, my face was a fucking mess. I’d gotten a glimpse in the mirror of my bloody mouth and nose. Then my eyes were hurting as well.

As soon as I left the studio, I stopped by CVS to get a First Aid kit to hopefully pull my damn mug together. I didn’t feel like going to a damn hospital, because right now, the only thing I wanted to do was approach Dionne.

This shit was still hard as fuck for me to believe, even though I saw the damn text messages myself. Once I’d gotten the kit, I texted Dionne to see if she was home, and when she told me she was, I sped right over there to her ass.

“Oh my gosh!” She jumped backwards at the sight of my face when she answered the door. “Baby, what happened?” I slipped into her house and went straight to the bathroom before pulling the kit out of the CVS bag. “Here, let me do it.” Dionne made me sit down on the closed toilet top before washing her hands. “Will, tell me what happened?” She opened up the alcohol pad.

  “Belly happened.”

She paused to look down into my eyes before resuming her cleanup of my face.

“What do you mean, Belly happened? You guys got into a fight? Why?”

“Because of you.” I glared up at her. “Yeah, I called myself telling him how much of a gold-digging hoe Blaise was, and he let me know a little something about you.” I nodded. “So you’ve been trying to fuck him behind my back, huh?”

“No. Is that what he told you? I don’t even like him!”

“I saw the messages, D! I saw you basically pleading for this nigga’s attention like you ain’t got a whole fucking boyfriend!”

“What do you want me to say! I met him first, and we just clicked, Will! I couldn’t just forget! I tried! But baby, I haven’t even been with him since I’ve been with you. I’ve never cheated, I swear.” She cupped my face, but I pulled away.

“You ain’t never cheated because he didn’t let you!”

As soon as the words left my lips, I felt even worse for making up that last part about Blaise just to spite that nigga Belly. Had he been any other nigga who didn’t give a fuck, he would have smashed Dionne behind my back. Hell, she was beautiful, sexy too, and very willing. Yeah, I was pissed he didn’t tell me, but truthfully, I wouldn’t have wanted to know that shit. And now, I’d possibly lost a job and homie over Dionne’s ass.

  “Okay, so now what, huh?”

“You need to cut that shit off, for me to even think about sticking with yo’ ass. That means block him on everything, delete his contact, all that shit. And anytime I’m around him, if I still got a job, you can’t come. If he’s in the building, you leave.”

Dionne began twiddling her thumbs before tears ran down her soft cheeks. As thirsty as she was acting, you would never guess how beautiful she was. I actually saw her ass as a prize.

“I don’t know if I can do that, Will.”

“Excuse me?” I felt the tightness in my face.

“I need time to think. I love you, but I really like him. And you don’t give me any attention, at least not enough to keep me satiated and away from him. We barely have sex, and when we do, it seems like you’re forcing yourself, which I don’t get, because I look the same as when you met me.” She sobbed.

As badly as I wanted to blow up on her ass, she was right. I paid her no mind because I was too focused on getting my fix then heavily working. Dionne was always an afterthought, and even though I loved her, some days, she didn’t even cross my mind until she called or texted me.

  “Dionne—”

“You should leave. I will call you or something later.” She finished fixing my face and then tapped my shoulder.

I stayed put on the toilet seat as she left the bathroom, wondering what the fuck had just happened. This was definitely one of the worst days of my life.

Standing, I left out and checked my Rolex to see it was 7:30 p.m. It was early, but I was bugging out and needed a little something. I drove straight to far ass Woodland Hills and couldn’t get out of the car fast enough to get inside of the brothel.

“Wow, you never come this early.” Geena smiled. “What’s the occasion?” She let me into the house.

“Bad day. Is Swan here? I’m not in the mood for anybody else.”

“Umm, no, Swan is off today.”

“Off doing what? Fuck does she need to be off for? All she does is lay on her back,” I fussed.

“Mr. Dade, calm down. We have plenty of other girls here. And contrary to popular belief, we do more than lie on our backs. And even if we did, a break is still needed just like with any other job.” She looked me up and down. “All you do is press a device to your face and push a button; but don’t you need off days sometimes too?”

How the fuck did she know I was a photographer? As I stared Geena down, she gave me a knowing smirk, so I left the shit alone. I was not fond of fame.

“Well uh, I don’t want anybody else but Swan. So call her in or something.”

  “She’s off, Will.”

  Irritated, I snatche
d the front door open and left. I knew I should’ve gotten Swan’s number the last time I saw her, because I would surely pull up on her ass. While sitting in my car, I tried to think of how I could get her ass, but then Nichole crossed my mind. She was the closest thing I had. I didn’t want them other bitches inside because I felt like laying up, and Swan was the only one willing to do so. Them other hoes were too on the move as soon as you busted.

  “Hello?” Nichole answered softly.

“It’s only 8:40 p.m. You asleep?” I frowned, staring at the clock embedded in my Mercedes dashboard.

“I guess I was. I fell asleep in front of the TV. Is there something you needed, Will?”

“Yeah, I wanna come over.” I started driving. “I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth or my photos worth yet.”

“How about tomorrow? I’m not feeling too well.”

“Nichole, I need to come through right now. I’m already on the way.”

  “Alright.”

I hung up the phone, forced the accelerator down to the floor damn near, and held it there until I arrived at Nichole’s plush ass condo. By the time I got to her door, I was putting a hurting on her damn doorbell.

“Damn you look good.” I smiled when she answered the door. The dress was simple, but her body was banging.

Picking her up, I shut the door behind myself and carried her to the bedroom to wear her out. After round two, we took a break.

“I think that this should be the last time we have sex, Will.” She stared up at the ceiling as she lay next to me.

  “Why?”

“Because I’ve been thinking, and I need more serious relationships. And in order to do that, I need to cut off the ones that aren’t. So it’ll be just Ian and I for now.”

“Nah, don’t do that. I like being around you.”

“It doesn’t seem like it. We only hang out to have sex or to take photos.”

“Okay. Well next time I do something, I’ll bring you along with me.” I moved her hair from her face.

Shit, Nichole may be just my type. At the moment, she was the only semi-regular female that could get my dick hard.

  Manny

  A few days later…

“Thank you, sir. Have a nice day.” The Target employee handed me the plastic bag.

  “Same to you.”

I left Target and headed out to my whip so I could go to Jasmine’s house and see my son. I’d bought him some fly ass shit from Gucci and then some toys from Target, so I couldn’t wait to see the look on his face.

Ever since his birthday party, which I flaked on for Alivia, Jasmine hadn’t been fucking with me like that. And even though I thought I wouldn’t give a fuck, it bothered me. I hadn’t been hearing about her throughout the hood, so I guess she slowed up on fucking with these niggas. And because of that, I bought her something nice too, hoping she would start talking to me again and giving up the pussy.

When I pulled up to her spot, I noticed a Porsche truck parked out front. Her car wasn’t there, but I just knew this shit wasn’t hers. Jasmine didn’t have bread like that. She had a little job that was enough to pay the bills, but she wasn’t raking in enough chips to buy luxury whips.

Hopping out of my car, I tread up to her door and started beating on it, eyes still on the truck behind me.

“Why do you do that? There is a doorbell,” Jasmine answered. She looked good as fuck, but that was nothing new. What was new was her hair; she was wearing her natural shit again, letting it sweep her shoulders.

“Whose car is that?” I pointed over my shoulder as I stepped up inside.

“Don’t worry about it, Manny. If you came to see Jasiel, he’s in his room. I don’t want to talk to you.”

“Wait, come here.” I grabbed her hand, but she quickly snatched it from me.

“Baby, I’m sorry about the party. I told you I had to do some last-minute work,” I lied.

“Last-minute work? Since when is your job last minute? You work boxing fights, so you know your jobs months in advance! And what fight was this that Belly had, that no one heard about? And suddenly, on Jasiel’s birthday?”

I was realizing my lie was stupid as fuck, so I just stared down in her face, making her shake her head and roll her eyes.

“Aight, aight, look. I’m gon’ do better. I just—”

“You always claim you’re going to do better, Manny.”

“I know, but I’m for real. That was fucked up of me, and I’ve been feeling bad as fuck ever since.” I bent down to grab one of the Gucci bags. “Plus, I got you a peace offering.”

She sat down to look through the bag, before pulling the box out and releasing the black ribbon. She removed the purse from the box and smiled gently, but not big enough for me. I spent racks on that shit and was expecting a much bigger response.

“Thanks, Manny.” She started putting it back up, and I noticed the nice ass watch on her wrist.

“Where the fuck you get a Patek from, Jasmine?”

“A friend, okay? And the car too. Mine is in the shop, so they offered for me to drive one of theirs.”

  “This better be a homegirl.”

  “It’s not; it’s a man.”

For a minute, I just glared at her ass as if she had two fucking heads growing out of her shoulders.

“What nigga out here buying you that type of shit? You giving it all the fuck back and ASAP!”

The thought of another nigga buying my baby mama this type of shit pissed me off. Her being a hoe didn’t fuck with me, and I guess that was because it wasn’t no serious shit. But this looked like a damn relationship, and I wasn’t having it.

“I’m not giving anything back. You don’t even want me like that, so why does it matter to you, Manny?”

“You love him or some shit?” I couldn’t believe how fucking fired up I was.

“No, I haven’t even been dealing with him long enough to be in love. I like him a lot, and we’re getting close.” She hugged herself, rubbing her biceps and looking off for a moment.

  “You been fucking him?”

“Not really. We’ve done things, but not that yet. Why does it matter? Don’t you sleep with other women? And even if I had slept with him, we’re not together; we never have been.”

“So that means we can still fuck, right?”

I brought her closer to me and started kissing all over her neck, while rubbing on her ass. I felt her small hands press against my chest like she was trying to push me off, but I ignored it.

“No, I’m never fucking you again. You don’t even have the decency to put your pride aside to be a good father.”

“I am a good father! I pay for all of the shit he got!”

“So what! How many times do I have to tell you money is not enough! He needs to spend time with you! And the way you left him at his party, crying for you all because you’re embarrassed of his mother, is why I will never respect you, let alone fuck you, Manny.”

  “Jasmine…”

“Either give Jasiel the stuff you bought or leave. I’m about to make dinner, and I don’t want you here just chilling.”

“You serious right now? Over one party?”

“Give him the stuff or go.”

After a stare down, I snatched the bags up from the floor, making sure I had all of them in my hand.

“I’m giving them to him, and I’m staying to have dinner with him, put him to bed, and all of that shit.”

“Manny, no. I want you to leave after.”

“I don’t care,” I threw over my shoulder as I continued to the back where Jasiel’s bedroom was. Jasmine only sighed, saying nothing else.

I didn’t know who this nigga was that was trying to move in on Jasmine, but it wasn’t happening. And I didn’t appreciate him getting her shit I never had. Then for her to refuse to fuck me only made this shit worse. Whatever they had was about to be a wrap because I was gon’ be around this muthafucka all the time.

  The next morning…

  I w
oke up on the couch because Jasmine’s stupid ass locked me out of her bedroom. I guess she knew I was gon’ try to creep up in her shit in the middle of the night, so unfortunately, I went to sleep with a hard ass dick. I could’ve gone out and found something, but a nigga was too paranoid, thinking she would call that friend to roll through as soon as I dipped.

“Smells good.” I swung my feet off the couch, watching Jasmine make breakfast as Jasiel sat at the table coloring. “What we doing today?” I rose up and then started toward the kitchen.

“Manny, nothing. You need to go home.” Jasmine began turning off the burners. I saw she’d made pancakes, turkey sausage since she didn’t fuck with pork, and eggs.

  “Yay, pancakes!” Jasiel yelled excitedly.

  “I know, baby,” Jasmine cooed.

“I think maybe all of us should go to the park or something.” I took a seat at the table, as Jasmine started setting down plates. I realized she ain’t make me one, so I hopped back up to do so myself.

“I have something to do already. There is a school I want Jasiel in, and we have to go shopping for some clothes.”

“I got him some shit yesterday.”

“He can’t go into a preschool interview looking like a damn rapper, Manny. He needs little boy clothes, not Gucci.”

“You right. Well maybe afterwards then.”

Jasmine nodded, so then we proceeded to eat breakfast together and talk with my son during. Once done, Jasmine took Jasiel to the bathroom to get cleaned up, so I began looking through my phone. After replying to and sending a couple texts, I went onto Instagram to see what was newly posted. Before I could even hit the home button, I saw a photo of Alivia holding hands with some nigga on the explore page. I tapped the shit so quickly I almost sprained my thumb.

When it blew up, I realized it was that singing nigga named Yono. When I clicked the hashtags, I saw them damn blogs were eating that shit up. I felt like I was being cheated on at the moment, even though Alivia and I weren’t even like that. Going onto her page, I peeped that she had an event this afternoon, and I was definitely gon’ show up on her ass to press her.
