  [08:28] Naughty1979: Good morning.

I smiled to myself as Jelani’s Facebookinstant message popped up on the computer screen. I havejust beenchecking emails while sipping coffee and anxiously awaiting the end of the day. Jelani’s IM is right on time. I need the entertainment.

  [08:30] Flirtatious Nicky: Good morning.

[08:32] Naughty1979: I really enjoyed you on Monday.

  [08:33] Flirtatious Nicky: Likewise.

I am still fascinated by the performance he put on Monday night, and I haven’t been able to put my finger on what got into him. Of course, I wasn’t comfortable enough to point it out to Evette.

[08:38] Flirtatious Nicky: So, what was up with that performance?

  [08:40] Naughty1979: Did I do something wrong?

  [08:42] Flirtatious Nicky: Absolutely not.

  [08:43] Naughty1979: Did I please you?

[08:45] Flirtatious Nicky: You always do.

  [08:48] Naughty1979: So?

  [08:49] Flirtatious Nicky: It was . . . different.

[08:50] Naughty1979: I was trying to show you that I feel different.

  [08:51] Flirtatious Nicky: Meaning?

[08:53] Naughty1979: I fucked you like we were the only ones in the room, because that’s what I want; for it to just be me and you.

That caught me off guard. Monday night it felt as if he was sexing me like I was more than just a fuck, but I continued to tell myself that my hormones were making me think that. I wanted to believe that the liquor was to blame for his sudden courage to blow my back out, but what I saw in his eyes was intention over intoxication.

I didn’t know how to respond. Evette and I are cool, but we are not friends. I don’t owe her any sort of loyalty or commitment, so I don’t feel like I shouldn’t have flirtatious conversations with her husband; especially since I’ve been screwing him just as much as she has for the past five months.

Nevertheless, despite my nonexistent friendship with Evette and the fact that I have been sleeping with this man for five months, I will never encourage anyone’s infidelity. After hurting Bradley the way that I did, I swore to myself that I would not put myself in the position to feel that much guilt ever again.

However, Bradley was the love of my life. Evette is just my fuck buddy and is easily replaceable.

[09:00] Flirtatious Nicky: What is with the sudden interest?

  [09:01] Naughty1979: It’s not sudden.

[09:03] Flirtatious Nicky: You’re usually so distant and respectful.

[09:05] Naughty1979: Is it disrespectful to please the woman that I’ve been sleeping with all year?

[09:06] Flirtatious Nicky: This is different.

[09:08] Naughy1979: It is what it is.

  [09:12] Flirtatious Nicky: Meaning?

[09:15] Naughty1979: Meaning that my wife loves me so much that she was sure to bring someone into our relationship that she knew I would find irresistible.

[09:16] Flirtatious Nicky: You need that attraction in order to enjoy it, don’t you?

  [09:17] Naughty1979: Not really. I’m a man. It don’t take much.

  [09:20] Flirtatious Nicky: Lol . . . That’s deep.

[09:22] Naughty1979: Not as deep as I was trying to get into you Monday night.

That sent unexpected sensations down my spine.

[09:30] Flirtatious Nicky: Well, too bad you’re married. :--(

I thought that was the most harmless way to get out of this awkwardness before it turned into something he would regret.

  [09:33] Naughty1979: Yea, too bad. :--(

  VICTORIA

“To what do I owe the honor?”

I was being sarcastic and Lynn knew it. That’s why she sneered at me as she entered my home.

I was expecting her arrival since she called twenty minutes ago andtold me that she was coming. She needed to get out of the house because Travis was working her nerves.

“I need a glass of wine,” she told me as she followed me down the hall.

  I glanced questionably at her.

“Don’t give me that look. I can have a glass of wine. Even Jesus turned water into wine.”

I had to laugh at her prudence. It was cute how Lynn thought drinking wine was something to defend.

Lynn sat at the dining room table as I entered the kitchen to pour two glasses of Moscato.

  “So what happened?”

Immediately I heard grunts and groans coming from the dining room, and I snickered.

“Don’t laugh, Vic. It’s not funny.”

  “What happened?”

“We got into the biggest fight,” Lynn said with a depressing groan.

  “Over?”

“The usual! My unhappiness. His insensitivity to my unhappiness. His comfort with our boring and routine marriage. My unwillingness to have sex with him because I am so unhappy.”

“Dag, you aren’t giving him any?”

  “No!”

I entered the dining room and sat across from Lynn at the table. She snatched her glass and seemed to chug it.

  “Slow down,” I told her.

  “It’s justchampagne.”

  “You don’t drink though.”

She seemed to think about it for a few seconds. Then she sipped rather than chugged.

Lynn then frowned and said, “When I try to have sex with him, I get sick to my stomach.”

  “Literally?”

“Yes, literally. I gag when I see his penis.”

  “Damn!”

“I knoooooow,” she whined. “That’s because it’s the same ol’ thing over and over again. He attempts to have sex with me after I’ve been at work all day, cooked for four kids, and helped with homework while he’s off doing God knows what at the church. By then its eleven o’clock at night, I’m tired and irritated about life in general, and he rolls over on top of me and tries to penetrate me like ’Mister’ from The Color Purple! There is no intimacy, affection, or foreplay. He just does his business on top of me as if it’s just something we gotta do because we’re married.”

I just sat back and sipped as I allowed her to vent.

“His sense of marriage is slavery, and I so want to be freed. He has this logic of old school Christian tradition that is ruining our marriage.”

“I think the problem is that you got married too young. You want to experience new things when he’s content with his life.”

“And he refuses to cater to that need! He does nothing outside of his role as a husband. Nothing. Though he’s a great provider, it’s me who feeds him in the morning and irons his clothes so that he is able to go out into the world and be the ‘great’ husband that he thinks he is. But never does he play a role that caters to me besides keeping a roof over my head. There are attentions and excitements that I need in order to stay focused on this marriage that his beliefs and faith won’t open his mind to allow him to do.”

“What is it that his beliefs and faith won’t allow him to do?”

  “Give me space.”

  “You want to separate?”

“Just for a while. This marriage is suffocating me. I need to breathe before I do something I regret.”

I looked at her in a scrutinizing way as she finished her glass and ignored my expression.

“Does this sudden need for separation have anything to do with Ray?”

Though she answered, “Absolutely not,” just the thought of him brought a smile to her face.

“You are really starting to like him, aren’t you?”

“He is really good to me,” she confessed.

  “Have you seen him again?”

Lynn shook her head like a bashful preschooler. “I feel too guilty,” she replied. “He and I are becoming more than I ever expected. At first, I talked to him becau
se he was an outlet. Then I got addicted to the feeling of courting all over again. Now, I anticipate seeing him again. I’ve never felt this way about any man but my husband.”

“Is it what Ray is doing that is creating these feelings, or is it just the grass looking greener on his side?” I was attempting to be the voice of reason, the outside looking in.

“He’s just so much of what Travis isn’t. Ray makes me feel better about being me. He is what keeps me sane while I’m at home with Travis.” She grinned before continuing. “Ray wants us to take a trip together. He says I deserve something romantic.”

“Be careful, Lynn. You have been out of the game for a long time. Be sure that he’s not just blowing smoke up your ass.”

Lynn smacked her lips in response and expressed, “Ray knows about Travis and that I haven’t even begun to leave my marriage. What man would sweet talk a woman with a husband and four kids? There is much easier prey out there than me.”

Ray seemed to call right in the nick of time. An hour and a half had passed and Lynn was still griping about Travis as she finished her third glass of Moscato.

She smiled like a schoolgirl when she saw his number on her caller ID and excused herself, going into the bathroom to talk to him privately. As soon as she shut the bathroom door, my doorbell rang. It was Taij returning DeSire from their “date”. He took her to a family outing earlier this evening.

I can’t say that I was happy to see him. After three glasses ofMoet, I wasn’t in the mood for a toddler, even if she was my own.

Nevertheless, when I opened the door, sudden happiness came over me. Well, more like excitement. There was a rush of L'eau D'Issey that hit my nose like an aphrodisiac, sending a lightning bolt of eroticism through my body that it did not recognize.

I began to stutter from the feeling. “H… Hey, Taij.”

He smiled very bashfully as he and DeSire walked through the door hand-in-hand.

Not only did his smell get me going, but he was also dressed really nice. Though he only wore a pair of jeans, he accented them with a pair of Stacy Adams, and a Ralph Lauren blazer with a button-up underneath. He was freshly lined, and his full mustache and goatee gave him so much character.

I could have fucked him right there in the hallway.

“I guess I did the job,” he said with a giggle.

  “Huh?”

“I was trying to make sure that I looked nice. By the way you’re looking at me, I guess I do.”

“I’m just shocked,” I lied. “I never see you in anything but gym and work clothes.”

“Well, they won’t let me in where I’m going with basketball shorts on.”

  “Where are you going?”

  “On a date.”

And then, very unexpectedly, I got jealous.

You know how you think of an ex, that you still harbor some feelings for, with another woman, and then get so nauseous that you can actually tastethethrow up in the back of your throat?

That’s exactly what just happened to me! Luckily for me, he was walking in front of me, so he couldn’t see the hateful and jealous faces that I was making.

But I couldn’t understand for the life of me why I was jealous, or why past feelings were threatening to resurface. This is the man that cheated on me with my friends, and then threw it in my face by giving me Chlamydia. This was the man that promised me everything, but in turn, inherited me a prescription of Penicillin.

I played it off as we entered the dining room. “A date, huh?”

“Yep. I haven’t really been doing much dating since I moved back home. It’s about time I get it crackin’!” Then he laughed at his own joke.

  More regurgitation.

I rolled my eyes and told him, “Stay away from the bussdowns.”

“No, no, no. We like bussdowns. They cost less money. As long as I mess with bussdowns, I can afford those child support payments,” he teased.

I playfully punched his arm as he laughed again.

Lynn then emerged from the bathroom. I could swear her brown skin had a hint of red in it.

“I’m about to head out of here,” she told me immediately.

  “Where are you going?”

She ignored me. “If Travis calls your phone, tell him I just left and that I am on my way home.”

  Lynn was clearly avoiding me.

“You look nice, Taij,” she quickly stated as she grabbed her purse and darted down the hall. “I’ll lock the bottom lock, Vic!”

  That shit was so suspect.

“Well, I betta get outta here too,” Taij told me. “I’ll see you Sunday.”

As I picked DeSire up and followed Taij back down the hall, I said, “You are really adamant about going to church, huh?”

“Yea. It’s about time I make some changes and live my life better than I have in the past. No better place to start than church, right?”

He seemed to be waiting for my confirmation, as if he only knew by my example.

  “Right.”

  LYRIC

It was about eleven when I made it to The Mansion. Evette sent me three text messages asking me where I was and if I was still coming, so I hurried up the street and through the front gates of the building.

The Mansion was a big vacant home located in “Boomfuck”, Illinois. It took me nearly an hour to get here. It has remained vacant for so long because the owner rents it out for private parties. Since the home is for entertainment purposes only, the only things occupying the property are flat screens, bars, pool tables, an indoor pool, and a hot tub. However, on the third floor, extras such as beds, Jacuzzis and spacious showers have been added since The Mansion is used for swinger’s parties that have been quite lucrative for the owner.

Tonight was a swinger’s event that Evette and Jelani often attended. When I started dating them, I started coming to the parties with them. Needless to say, the experience was a bit different at first, but I have since gotten use to it.

The difference between a swinger’s party and a regular party is simple: it costs a hell of a lot more for men to get in, the women feel uninhibited and dress more scantily clad, and at midnight, if you aren’t down to fuck, you need to exit stage left immediately.

I spent my first time here as more of a voyeur. It was so amazing to walk aimlessly as the DJ played slow jams and watch someone giving head in this corner, two men giving a woman the business in another, and a straight up orgy going down in the jacuzzi. Everyone was so free with one another and so eager to share.

I only sleep with Evette and Jelani at these parties, but it’s still fun to watch everyone else get bussed down.

  “About time, girl!”

As instructed via her text message, I met Evette at the bar in the basement of the home. She already had my drink, which she immediately handed to me.

“I know,” I replied as I hugged her. “Sorry I am so late. My hair refused to act right tonight.”

I gave up and put it in a ponytail. I really wasn’t in the mood to be here anyway, so after my hair wouldn’t act right, I matched the ponytail with a wife beater, straight-legged jeans, and a simple heel. I wasn’t here to pull any action anyway. When push comes to shove, Evette and Jelani do a damn good job of scratching my itch, so I don’t have any need to have a pile of strangers on top of me attempting to do so too.

However, like I said, it is always fun to watch.

Just then, Bird, a guy who is always at these parties, appeared in front of Evette and me with a devilish grin.

“Hey, Bird,” Evette seemed to sing.

“Hey you,” he told her. “What’s up, Lyric?”

“Hello.” I purposely kept it short because I was truly afraid of giving Bird any kind of notion that I was interested in him.

Bird has a big dick. Huge. It’s massive, really. Colossal. Iconic, actually, both in width and length. Many women attempt to ride that ride, but I will forever pass. I usually back down to no challenge, but I’ll pass on the rearrangement of my organs. No matte
r the threats of the pain, I always hear howls and screams on the other sides of walls as he literally kills some previously courageous woman.

He actually sent one woman straight out of here bleeding and in pain with a torn vagina. Come to find out, he also shifted her cervix.

  True story.

“Amanda was looking for you earlier,” Bird told Evette.

Amanda. Ewe. She is a hot mess in a too tight dress and a fucked up body shape. I swear these parties are her only means of getting penetrated ever in life.

  “Where is she?”

  “Upstairs. Back bedroom.”

Then Bird simply told us that he would see us later and walked away.

“Please don’t tell me that you’re fucking Amanda,” I said to Evette with disgust clearly written all over my mug.

“Hell no! She’s just my girl. I haven’t seen her all night. Probably why she’s looking for me. You know you’re the only girl in my eyes.”

I rolled my eyes and laughed. “Oh, yea right.”

I try my best not to get too involved in what Evette and Jelani do as a couple or as separate entities. As long as tests come back negative, they can do what the hell they want to do with their private parts. This was my first time dating a couple, and these past couple of months as their “girlfriend” has kept me a very busy and satisfied woman. Considering the past drama I’ve found myself entangled in, I find it best for my sanity that I stay out of grown folks’ business and just make sure that I am not involved in too much trouble.

“I’ll be back. Let me go see what Amanda wants.”

Evette disappeared into the crowd, leaving me standing alone at the bar. I found a seat on a bar stool in order to blend in. I hated to stand out alone in this crowd. Both the men and women were such vultures, and you can’t blame them because you are at a swinger’s party. Nevertheless, I hate feeling like a piece of meat on an auction block no matter the environment, and I get tired of figuring out polite ways to say no.
