Leaders from different continents will come to eat you alive" Misty explained. As I finish my shower, I sighed.
Not a welcome party but an initiation party? How funny.

I walk down the staircase with the expensive red carpet perfectly laid down ready to make me more look elegant as I wrap my right arm to the Alpha's arms.
For a while I was stunned because just like what Misty had said, there will be a lot of hybrids who will come but I never thought that it will be this grand with a huge scale of guests.
Well I can not really say that these huge number of people are guests because its more like they are guards. Guards from different continents guarding their own Alphas or Alpha couple.
Of course, the level of security for their own Alphas should be tightened especially because all Alphas are gathered in one place.
In the left side of the venue, I saw my granny using my peripheral view and she was guarded by Yvan, the Delta himself . It seems like the Hybrids already got Granny.
At the end of the carpet, there stood the other Alpha's from different continents, others have their mates while other's don't. The Alpha and I bowed down to them to show respect as they also do the same.
"It's nice to finally meet the Alpha's mate of Luna Canidae" Says one of them. He's a guy who looks aggressive and he looked like he does not give a damn about looks.
Misty described the four more Alphas from different continents.
First, the Alpha from the Southern continent. The most aggressive one who always looks for opportunities to bring down the Alpha of Luna Canidae, unlike him, his mate is gentle and known to be a humanist who doesn't only care about human wolves but she also cares about humans. She is known to be the kindest one which is so different from her Alpha.
Second, the Alpha from the Northern continent, now he's the only Alpha who doesn't have a mate but he also rules his people properly its just that his kingdom is also home to Rebels in which Serafin is also the king. The human government in the northern continent knows their existence that's why his kingdom and the human government works together to conceal their existence.
Third the Alpha of the Eastern continent and his mate, just like the Alpha of the Southern continent, the Alpha couple in the eastern continent is known to be very greedy and evil. They execute the things that they want to execute using force and torture. They are known to be heartless who kills humans and human wolves as much as they want. They are like dictators who are greedy for power.
And last the Alpha from the Western continent, the western continent is the weakest kingdom of all the five kingdoms because of their very young Alpha who just took over. The Alpha of the western continent is just seven years old and was forced to take over at a very young age because his parents which are the previous Alpha couple was murdered by the eastern continent.
The western continent is actually in danger right now because of the aggressive and bold moves of the Eastern continent against the western continent.
I looked at the young Alpha who seemed tense and uncomfortable, well who won't be uncomfortable when the person who killed your parents and destroyed your kingdom is beside you well and healthy, smiling and laughing, acting like as if nothing happened, acting like as if its okay to kill someone.
Unfortunately the Alpha of the Eastern continent will not be punished because of what he did because the current Alpha of the western continent which is the seven year old kid was not killed and thus it is not considered as treason which is so unfair.
I shook my head off and tried to focus myself in the current situation. Yes I do feel sorry about the Alpha of the western continent but what can I do? I can not just wage war against the eastern continent because Luna Canidae will be at a disadvantage.
Luna Canidae may be the strongest kingdom but we can't bare a war against the other kingdoms because we still need to fix our own conflict internally and that is of course the Rebels and the hunters which is the only weakness of Luna Canidae.
The Alpha's mate of the eastern continent offered her hands to me, I smiled and accepted her hand.
"Its nice to finally meet the Alpha' mate of Luna Canidae" She said locking her gaze to me.
I did the same and got my palms back.
"Same here" I said and smiled back, her smile gives me creeps and then for a moment it was silent. My Alpha broke the silent as he invites the other Alphas and mates for a meal.
As we enjoy the meal, the Alpha from the southern continent spoke.
"I didn't know that the Alpha's mate of Luna Canidae is this pretty and hot" He said locking his gaze to me. I coughed because of the sudden attack and then suddenly my Alpha dropped his knife and locked his gaze to the Alpha's mate of southern continent.
"Your mate is the same. I never thought she'd be this sexy and fucking hot in that white sexy dress. That dress fits her, I bet men's eyes can't take their eyes of her. No, more like they can't take their eyes off her body" My Alpha said locking his gaze to the Alpha's mate of the southern continent and then he shifted his gaze to the the Alpha of the southern continent while he shows his grin, his creepy grin.
Because of what my Alpha had said, the mate from the south felt uncomfortable and of course the Alpha from the south seemed angry.
"Did you just disrespected my mate--"
"Well that's not how I see it, who do you think did it first?" Says the Alpha from the north who seemed enjoying his meal.
"You know I always return the favor. I just showed you what happens if you mess up with my mate now if you don't want me to fuck yours don't fuck mine" My Alpha said in a very serious manner.
"Are you mocking me--"
"Hon don't" Before the Alpha from the south do something bad, its a good thing that his so called kind and angel like mate stopped. And viola he's one loyal dog and immediately listened to his mate.
"Enough with the little jokes Alphas and mates, since we're already in the topic. Why don't we just talk about the mate of Luna Canidae. Madame Cassandra" Says the mate from eastern continent.
I looked at her and she's looking at me with her creepy eyes again.
"Aha, its a good thing that my mate brought it up. As we all know Luna Canidae is almost perfect with the strong rule of the Alpha and the strong Hybrid empire system and the most interesting thing is their use of a cardinal in which no one from the remaining continents knows how to use a cardinal. When the Alpha of Luna Canidae eats the blood of the cardinal, he will be the strongest Alpha among all the Alpha of this generation that's why Luna Canidae is considered the strongest among all the continents" Says the Alpha from the east.
Just what are they up to that they're talking about our system?
"Its just that another weakness has entered the Luna Canidae and I think that's the Alpha's mate who is a human. We all know that having a human as a mate will be very disadvantageous to the current Alpha and to the future Alpha because the mate will die and the future Alpha will be a half breed which means that the future Alpha could be weaker than what we have expected" Says the mate from the east.
Wow they really are bold with sharp tongues. They are attacking me using their filthy sharp tongues by babbling.
My Alpha was about to say something but I stopped him and then I looked at the mate from the east with a knife like tongue.
I laughed and then I locked my gaze to her "Of all the people in this table, its from the eastern continent who brought that topic up. How pathetic and lowly, I guess the Alpha couple from the eastern continent are just shameless or maybe their just bored to mock a mate who is a human when in fact it's your ancestor who had the first human mate" I said still locking my gaze to them.
From what I had said, the only people who was shock about the news that I just brought up was the mate from the sout
h and the mate from the east herself.
The Alphas from the five continents including my own Alpha seem not surprised from the news that I just brought up, I knew it, they all know that before me, there was a human mate but it was not from Luna Canidae but from the Eastern continent.
"W-what do you mean? Are you now speaking lies because you don't have anything to say and you're dragging our continent here. Well you're the one who is lowly not us---"
"Stop it Jane" Says the Alpha from the east trying to stop his mate from babbling and seemed to realize the situation.
"Surprised?" I said.
I grinned and leaned my back "So the mates doesn't know? How unfortunate, you see being ignorant is also a weakness. You are the mate from the eastern continent yet you do not know your own history? Shame on you" I said in a serious tone, the same tone that the Alpha uses when he's serious.
"What's your name? Jane? Look at your Alpha Jane, he's silent. Don't you want to know why he's silent? Because he knows I'm speaking the truth and maybe he's just embarrassed that his own mate doesn't know about his family history. What a joke" I said continuing to mock the Alpha couple from the east.
I laughed "It seems like miss Jane doesn't know anything about her own history. Since I'm so kind and thoughtful, let me give you a glimpse of your own history. You see, the very first human mate came from the east. Being a human never became an obstacle in becoming a mate because she was strong mentally" I said as I stare at her.
"Yes she died for giving birth to a half breed which is actually the father of your Alpha. She died but the people respected her because she was a humanist not a dictator and did you know what? That half breed, that very first half breed actually ruled the strongest kingdom of his generation. The eastern continent was the strongest that time because of his wise ruling but what happened now?" I asked still provoking them.
"Let's not talk about those things already, what's past is past we should just talk about the future" Says the Alpha from the east trying to divert the topic.
"Why not? This is history dear Alpha and if not history, what should we talk about then? Gossips? Mocking other Alpha couple or mocking other kingdoms? That's a no-no of course. We are leaders, leaders of five different continents and it will be very childish and useless if we talk about gossips and bad things right?" I said flashing my sweet sarcastic smile.
"Well this is a good topic to talk about in this kind of occasion, to know history of course because it seems like the other mate here doesn't know anything" I said letting them hear my knife like tongue while my Alpha is still quiet maybe enjoying the scene.
"Stop it madame Cassandra, you're already getting personal. This is not the topic that we want to talk about" Says the Alpha from the South who I think shaved maybe ten years ago.
"Why should we stop this topic? It's actually interesting and one more thing. The Alpha couple started it, our Cassandra from Luna Canidae is just finishing it off and she's just stating facts" Says the Alpha from the north who still enjoys feud between continents.
"And one more thing, how come that the Alpha's mate from Luna Canidae can't talk about personal things when the Alpha couple from the east said something they shouldn't have" The Alpha from the north added. Now he's becoming my instant lawyer.
I smiled and looked at them "Thanks for seeing the right thing Alpha from the north but yeah I guess the Alpha from the south is also right. We should not think of evil things and we should not say bad words when this is a good occasion to welcome me" I said and sat down properly.
I smiled bitterly "You see, saying evil things is bad especially when you're a ruler. Instead of being the evil one, try to be the one who really rules. Am I right honey?" I said and wrapped my arms to his. My Alpha smiled and pinched my cheeks and instead of answering me with words, he winked at me.
I smiled back and then I continued eating what I'm eating while everyone is still quiet.
"Okay then so yeah let's say you know the history but a history of having a good human mate and a successful half breed Alpha doesn't mean that you will also be a successful mate" Says the ignorant mate from the east named Jane.
"I won't be like you Jane, I made that history as an inspiration. Well I actually should be scared right now because of the thought that I will die and the painful fact that my own child will kill me but guess what I chose not to run away and that mere fact is enough to prove that I will be a good ruler of Luna Canidae" I said giving her a cold stare that made her shut her mouth up.
So do I first need to mention the fact the I will die before they shut their mouth up? And then for a moment it was quiet.
"Awkward" Says the Alpha from the north as he gobble up his food.
"What a sharp tongue" I heard the mate from the east whisper.
I chuckled, I thought we're done here.
"You yourself babble all the time but you hate people who has sharp tongues? How ironic Jane" I said.
She stared at me with her cold eyes "How dare you speak ill to our ancestors and yeah I must admit that I was the one who started it but must you speak ill about our ancestors, you're giving it back to us twice the amount of what I said. That's being too cruel" Jane said in a serious manner still not removing her gaze to me.
After saying that, I heard my Alpha and the Alpha from the north chuckle, even the Alpha kid from the west laughed silently.
"Jane, I told you to shut it" The Alpha from the east said trying to tame his mate.
I grinned "Why do you think did my Alpha and the Alpha from the north and west chuckle? Because they find you funny. Funny and pathetic. After acting all tough, now your playing the victim role? How shameless and pathetic" I said spitting the words that she needs to hear.
"What the hell!!" She said raising her voice.
"Calm down" I said staring at her.
"Again, I'll try to teach you things that you need to learn. Everyone in this table knows my mate's temper right now and you all know that he always gives back what he receives and that he gives it twice or thrice of what you gave" I said.
"I also did the same. Since you started mocking me and my whole continent I should also do the same to make it fair but since I'm from Luna Canidae and our rule here is to give it back twice or thrice. I should follow our rule, that's why I mocked harder than what you did because its our rule" I said.
"Now here's an advice not only to miss Jane but to all of us, that we from Luna Canidae don't just back down. If you're bad then we're evil and if you're a friend then we will be merciful. Well, I'm just saying that you should never mock us nor challenge us because we don't give a damn and we will always give back what we receive" I said not removing my mocking smile in front of them.
After saying that I continued gobbling up my food.
For a moment there's another awkward silence that filled the room and then the Alpha from the north broke it by laughing awkwardly.
"I must say the mate from Luna Canidae is tough just like her Alpha. Now I'm convinced that she's actually more than capable to handle and reign the strongest continent of the four with her Alpha" He said grinning, locking his gaze to me.
"I should say its a compliment" I said as I smile in front of him.
"I-I agree, you're bolder than what I or we had expected" Says the mate from the south whose known for being kind and thoughtful who can't even say foul words unlike her Alpha.
I heard the Alpha from the south clear his throat "I agree with my mate" Says the aggressive Alpha from the south.
I smiled and looked at the young Alpha who seems enjoying his meal because he enjoyed the show that I made for him. "What about our young Alpha?" I asked and looked at him,
He looked back at me "What do you think?" I asked.
He smiled "I may be young and weak but I came to like the mate of another Alpha. It's just a shame that another Alpha got you first" He said trying to hit on me. I laughed.
"I'll take it as compliment" I said and pinched his nose. My Alpha leaned on me "Never
think to cheat on me because you'll never get away with it" He said and blew on my ears.
"I must admit my mate started it, we shouldn't have looked down on you. Once again we apologize" Says the Alpha from the east.

"Fine, okay I'm sorry. My Alpha is right, I shouldn't have underestimated you and I apologize for that. Happy?" She said sarcastically.
"A sharp tongued woman with an oh so high pride. Wow, you're Alpha must be so lucky. Oh well, let's just pretend that I did forgave you" I said and continued eating.

"I must admit my mate started it, we shouldn't have looked down on you. Once again we apologize for whatever me and my wife had said" Says the Alpha from the east.
I nodded and looked at his mate "I would accept it if it came from your own Mate. You said it yourself. It was your fault not mine. You should know how to say sorry" I said as I lock my gaze to her.
If I am to punish that knife like tongue of hers, I should do it to the fullest. She looked at me and then she gulped.
