Like yesterday, when I was in the shower after my workout.

Dom came in and slid into the shower behind me. He turned me around, lifted me high, and then glided me back down his body, landing right on his cock. I moaned as I felt his hard length burying inside me, the delicious pressure as he stretched me. I gasped and he groaned as he bottomed out, fully seated.

He pinned me between his hard body and the shower wall, and pistoned his hips into me. His powerful, rhythmic thrusting brought me to the edge faster than ever before. Then he stopped, holding me there for a moment before he pulled out of me.

I whimpered and he kissed me. “Shh. Just wait. It’ll be even better. I promise.”

Still holding me, he turned the faucet off and stepped out of the shower. Without even grabbing a towel, he carried me to the bed. Placing me on my feet, he laid on the bed and patted his stomach, grinning. I quickly climbed on top of him.

Deciding to keep him hanging like he did to me, I slowly slid back down his length, moaning all the way down until our hips met. Then I stopped moving and watched as the muscles in his neck tightened.

When I just smiled at him and stayed still, he groaned. “Baby, I need you to move.” I just squeezed him with my inner muscles. “Fuck, baby, I can’t take it!” He grabbed my hips and lifted me, dropping me back down.

Moving my hips as he thrusted upward, he set a fast, steady pace. Up and down. Harder and faster. I felt him swell inside me, and it was like it set off a rocket in my body. I yelled his name as he emptied himself inside me.

When we’d caught our breath, I smiled at him. “Now that’s one way to distract me from being stuck in here.” I shifted and curled up into Dom, the contented bliss dragging me under.

Wandering around looking for Dom, I noticed a couple prospects sitting in the kitchen. When I asked where Dom might be, the only response I got was that he was in church.

One of the prospects gave me a snarky look. “Shouldn’t you be back upstairs in your safe little room?”

“Excuse me?” I said. I looked at his patch and it said Ernie. “Who in the hell do you think you’re talking to, Ernie? I will go anywhere I damn well please!” I stomped past him, almost smacking right into Mac as he walked in. “Where is Dom?” I didn’t try to hide the agitation in my voice.

“We just finished church. He should be still in there.” He grabbed my arm as I tried to brush by him. “What’s the matter?”

“Nothing, except for the fact that your prospects need to be schooled on who the hell I am and how to talk to a lady!” I said it loud enough for that jackass to hear. Little bitch needed to watch what he said to me. I was Sal fucking Galenti’s daughter, and Dom’s woman.

I dodged around Mac, shooting a glare at Ernie as I slid out the door and headed to their chapel. I stood in the open door and scanned the room. Finding Dom, I noticed he was still talking to their President, Locke. I knocked on the door jamb and walked in just as they both jumped to hide the stuff on the table.

I edged closer. “What is that?” I didn’t want to butt in on their club business, but they were acting weird.

Dom moved between me and the table. “Nothing, baby. Don’t worry about it. We have it taken care of.” He cut a look at Locke, who shrugged. When Dom turned back to face me, he looked nervous. He tried to scoot me away from the table and back toward the door.

“No!” I said vehemently, my own nerves on edge now. He wouldn’t be acting that way if whatever was on that table wasn’t about me. “If it concerns me, I have a right to know, Dom!”

He looked at me, his face stern but worried at the same time. “You know, if you were anyone else coming in here . . .” He ran a hand through his hair, then stood taller. “You know better, Jules. Our club business isn’t yours. Rules are rules. I don’t care if you’re my girl or not.”

I stared him down. I didn’t fear him. I knew he was only reminding me of the rules to protect me. And to get me to back down. I wasn’t going to.

“Just show her, Dom,” Locke ordered.

Dom sighed, then grabbed a manila envelope. He opened it and spread the contents out on the table. I leaned over to look and gasped, covering my mouth with my hand. Laying on the table were about ten photos of me in various stages of every day activity. At Dom’s place, at the supermarket, at the gym. Every place I was every day.

I finally made my voice work. “Where did these come from?”

Locke answered. “They’ve been showing up in different places. Around the apartment, one on your car, and one in the door of your apartment every day since you arrived here at the clubhouse.” Moving the photos around, he picked one up and handed it to me. “Today we got this.”

It was a picture that was taken of me inside the apartment, my last day there. I was naked, in the process of changing. I picked up the sheet of paper that was with it.

I will find you. I own you. You belong to me and always have. No matter who you’re screwing. I will take what belongs to me. You were a gift and I will claim that gift. I don’t care who dies or who tries to stand in the way. I’m coming for you.

With shaking hands, I dropped the letter and the photo. Oh God. What could I do? I had to do something. I couldn’t just hide while Dom risked himself to protect me. Still, I couldn’t hide the fact that I was terrified.

Dom gripped my shoulders and forced me to look at him. “Baby, it’s okay. He believes you’re still at the apartment. Your car hasn’t moved, so he doesn’t know you’re here. All we have to do is keep watch. The next time he comes, we’ll get him, love. Believe me. He’ll slip up and I will kill him.”

Suddenly, all I could think was that I wanted to be the one to kill John. And that all of us girls should have more protection than just the guys. “I want you to teach the other girls how to shoot. I know how, but I could use more practice.”

Dom lifted a brow. “Do you really think that’s a good idea?”

“Actually, that’s a really good idea,” Locke spoke up. “They might be put in a position where they need to protect themselves. Being prepared is important. Training is smart, especially if the rest of them have never shot a gun before.”

“I won’t let them be put in that position.” Locke gave him a look and Dom conceded. “Okay. I’ll have everything set up in an hour or so, and we can start this afternoon. Out back there’s a good place to put up a makeshift range.”

“Thank you.” I ran my hand down his cheek, letting my resolve show in my eyes. “I need this. I will never be a victim again.” I gently kissed him. “I’m going to find the others.”

Dom held me tight for a minute before letting me go and patting me on the butt on my way out the door.

I knew everything in him wanted to lock me away while he hunted the bad guy. But he knew me and what I needed, and he was giving me as much as he could. It was just another reason to love him. Another reason that despite all this mess, I was the luckiest woman in the world.

Now if we could just get rid of John, everything would be perfect.

Teaching the ladies to shoot was a lot easier than I thought. They seemed to be very eager to learn. I hadn’t wanted to do it at first, but with the events of the past few weeks, I could understand their driving need to make sure they were safe, and not just sitting in the crosshairs of a psycho without the option of being armed.

After handing the girls each an unloaded gun, I went over the safety rules first.

“Always remember, aim to kill. If you ladies are ever in a position where this is the only way out, you shoot to kill. These are yours now. It’s a SCCY 9mm. It’ll get the job done, but is still light enough for you to carry.”

Me and a couple of the brothers spent the afternoon showing them the proper way to shoot, and then turning them loose on the targets. Though Leah, especially, was a little nervous at first, eventually they became comfortable with their weapons. Faith and Gia were also p
retty confident. Jules was a natural. I was more proud of her than ever.

Later that evening the brothers decided to have a BBQ. After throwing the idea around, we decided to let the ladies come and enjoy the party. At least until it started to get really crazy. Which it did pretty quickly.

I was about to send them back upstairs when I saw Viper out of the corner of my eye. Some fucking hang around was trying to talk to Leah over by the garage. The look that Viper gave the guy would’ve made a smart man run and fast.

Shit really hit the fan when Leah ignored the guy and started to walk away. He grabbed her arm and whirled her around, and that set Viper off. He tore across the yard, ripped the guy away from Leah, and punched the shit out of him. I was considering pulling him off the guy when Viper tossed the loser toward the driveway. Then he turned to a shaking Leah, putting his arms around her and guiding her into the apartments.

Knowing the brothers would make sure the lowlife was taken care of, I grabbed Jules’ hand and led her to the other side of the backyard amongst the thick trees. It was hidden from view during the day, and at night it was like our own little world. Tonight, I wanted to surprise her with something to take her mind off the shit storm that was our life right now.

Jules stayed close by my side as I led her into the darkness. “Where are we going?”

I smiled even though she couldn’t see it. “It’s a surprise. You’ll love it.”

Finally, the noise of the party faded and we got to the spot where I’d laid out a blanket earlier. I turned off the flashlight from my phone that I’d flipped on and settled down onto the blanket. I pulled her into my arms, loving the feeling of her warmth.

“See? I promised you’d like it.”

She gave a sexy laugh and wrapped herself around me. “You’re right. This is a great surprise.”

I took her lips in a searing kiss, then trailed them across her jaw. I gripped her hips as she knelt between my legs. Kissing her ear, I felt her fingers wander under my shirt and graze down my happy trail. I licked my lips, knowing just where she was headed. Slowly, she teased me, dragging her nails over my dick.

Two could play at this game. I slid my hand up her skirt, then sucked in a breath. “Fuck me,” I rasped out. “No panties.”

I felt her smile as she kissed my neck. “You’re not the only one with surprises.”

Gliding my fingers up to her core, I teased her with what was to come. I slowly began to fuck her with my fingers. She gasped and moaned against my skin and her hand squeezed my cock.

I pulled my fingers out, drawing out the sensations. “Should I stop?” I grinned, knowing the answer but wanting to torment her.

All she could do was shake her head. Her brain was already too fried to speak.

I laid her back and followed her down, pulling up her shirt and kissing and licking my way across her breasts and stomach. Moving down farther, I drew circles on her soft skin with my tongue. Pushing her skirt up to reveal my treasure, I licked at her core, drinking my fill as my fingers gripped her thighs. Her legs wrapped around my head and her fingers clenched in my hair. She gripped me tightly, urging me to continue. Her entire body clenched as I slid two fingers inside and gently pumped them in and out twice. She moaned loudly and arched her back as the orgasm took her. She rode it out, panting.

I licked her juices from my fingers. “Mmm, baby. Listening to you cum makes me so hard.” I sat back smiling. I unzipped my jeans and freed my cock. I lifted her and placed her over my dick, gently sliding inside. I felt her stretch as I shoved as deep as I could go. “Fuck! Baby, you feel so good.”

As we made slow, passionate love, I kissed her and stared into her eyes. I tried to tell her with a look she was the only person to make me feel completely whole, and I would cherish every moment with her. We lost ourselves in each other and the blissful moment.

An hour or so later, I carried her up to our room. After stripping her down and laying an exhausted, satisfied Jules in bed, I got undressed, then climbed in behind her. I wrapped one arm around her and pulled her into my chest.

Taking a deep breath, I slowly let it out. Feeling how relaxed she was and knowing she was breathing a little easier calmed my own nerves a little. I held her tight, hoping she knew I’d always be beside her, and no matter what, I’d always protect her.

As I lay sated and safe in Dom’s arms later that night, I thought about the day.

The shooting range was cathartic. The power I felt shooting the gun was hard to describe. I was holding this metal object in my hand that could do some serious damage. I felt the power flow through me as I cocked it, pulling a bullet into the chamber. The focus as I aimed. The feeling when I finally pulled the trigger, releasing every pent-up anxiety boiling inside me. It was amazing.

Watching the other girls, I saw them visibly release every bit of fear. Each pull of the trigger chipping away at the helplessness consuming them. I’d been right. That was just what we all needed. To have a sense of control back, the ability to have a hand in our own destiny. To be able to protect ourselves.

Hopefully, it’d help all of us heal.

Then Dom’s little surprise out in the woods had been just what I needed. Every time we made love was better than the last. I couldn’t get enough. His love was going a long way in righting my crazy world.

All things considered, I felt lighter. I wasn’t one hundred percent back to my old self, but I did feel better. I had been feeling like I was a princess in a fortress, hiding behind tall walls and my handsome knight, with no power to do anything to protect myself. I hadn’t liked that. But now I was okay with it. Mostly. Until John was caught, I needed this fortress. I needed my tower with my very own Prince Charming to guard it.

Waking up lately made me smile. I loved feeling Dom’s arms wrapped around me. And we didn’t have to hide or sneak around. My father knew about us, and we could finally be together out in the open, like we always should’ve been. I wasn’t ashamed of Dom, I was just worried my dad would kill him. But the rest, yeah, I didn’t care who knew I loved Dom.

I guess when you loved someone, it didn’t really matter what other people believed or what they thought. All that truly mattered was the love. We may fight every day, but we’d never get sick of each other. We could truly be ourselves.

I smiled as I felt his warm breath on my neck. Loving Dom was easy. He was my addiction. Just his presence had me all keyed up. I felt his erection pressing into my backside so I wiggled my ass. Then his lips were against my neck. I decided to tease him a little more. I scooted away and got out of bed. I bent at the waist to grab some flip flops, feeling him watch me.

“I just need to head down to the kitchen for a sec.” I tossed him a grin over my shoulder.

He got up and pressed into me. “Hurry back, my love.” He slapped my butt hard and I moaned.

I headed to the kitchen for some juice and quick breakfast stuff to take back to the room. I planned to keep my man trapped in bed all day, using any means necessary.

After grabbing everything I needed, I turned to make my way back upstairs when I ran into the prospect from last night, Ernie. He handed me an envelope and walked away without saying a word or even really looking at me. My good mood suddenly gone, and terrified to open it, I took everything upstairs.

As soon as I walked into the room, Dom saw my face and was out of bed in seconds. He put his hands on my cheeks and tilted my head up. “What’s wrong, baby?”

I handed him the envelope and backed away like it was going to bite me. I sat on the bed, shaking, too afraid of what was inside of it.

  Dom

Jules walked into the room and the terrified look on her face let me know something must have happened. But I never would’ve guessed John would have the balls to bring a letter here, or even send someone to do it for him. I took the envelope from her and unfolded the piece of paper. A small clump of hair fell out and landed on the bed. As I st
arted to read, my gut twisted.

“This fucker is sick.” I couldn’t help saying the words out loud.

  Juliane,

You honestly thought you could hide from me at that white trash biker club? You thought I couldn’t find you wherever you went? I’ve been watching you for years. I’ll have you back. You are so stupid to think you and the rest of those pieces of shit can do anything to stop me. I have a little surprise for you. I enclosed it in the letter. In case you’re wondering that hair is yours. I’ve had it ever since you were sixteen and you got your hair caught in the swing that you and Gia used to swing in when you were kids. I’ll be watching you. How is Gia by the way?

  John

I exploded. I wadded the letter up and threw it across the room. “That sick son of a bitch! How fucking psycho can he be?” Jules’ eyes were wide as she stared at me from the bed. I knew I was probably scaring her, but I couldn’t help it. This bastard had been stalking my girl for years. “And how did nobody notice he was that attached to you?” I didn’t really expect an answer. “Fuck, if he’s been this bad, someone should have noticed!”

“He wasn’t. He was hardly ever around.” Jules met my eyes. Her voice shook. “As far as the hair, I don’t remember him even being there. Mickey helped me that day. I don’t remember him being a huge part of the club at all.” She paused and got a weird look on her face. “Until my birthday. The day I met you. That must have been what set him off. It’s when I started noticing him hanging around more. Looking at me.” Her worry and fear broke my heart. “I didn’t really think anything of it. But it was you. I’ve never really shown interest in a boy before you.”

I fell back onto the bed beside her, trying to take all this in. It hit me that this psycho was only after her because of me. “We have to go talk to the guys and bring them up to speed.” Another thought struck me. “Who gave you the letter, babe?” Apparently, I needed to remind the guys that anything to do with Jules went through me first.
