Actually, I know that dry fishes are hard to crunch, but the way you’re biting off and eating Worry as if it were a dry fish goes right over my head.
P: From another angle, Worry would have been one of the best things to have as a lifetime friend if the above definition looked like this;

Fash: I am scribbling this down as fast as I can. Okay, I am beginning to see some teabags dissolving in my hot water.
Prayer, lest I forget, you talked about your colleagues earlier.
P: Oh yeah.
Fash: You said they are your special colleagues and that the major ones are Thoughts, Words and Sacrifice. You also said that your other friends take instructions from these three folks. Please zoom in on these guys a little bit.
P: Good! You are really smart.
See, I am neutral. People use me the way they want and usually I get them the results based on their request.
For example, my special friend named Thoughts is such a global and universal colleague. He is as old as I am. He is a gift to every man on the surface of the earth. He is given to every man right in the womb.
Fash: You mean babies in the womb think?
P: Ah Fash, so you think babies passively co-exist with the mother while in the womb? Oh no, if the baby can kick, it can think!
Right in the womb, they are in the business of building necessary skills and polishing their love life with their mothers.
Fash: Beautiful! Go back to your discussion about your special colleagues.
P: Okay, a little secret about Thoughts is that, whenever you need something, you have to send me on errand through him first before you do with your mouth.
The beauty of it is that, I can’t refuse whatever thought you send to me. My job is to make it happen. I must move to action immediately. I instantly engage all internal and external forces to bring the results. Here, you need to be extra careful because your most dominant thought and desire, I can’t refuse.
For example, the more you feed your thoughts with your commitment to Worry; I can’t do any other thing than to make your strong desire happen.
To be undeniably sure that whatever you send to me through my friend, Thoughts, brings positive results, there are 8 beautiful things that I always recommend for anyone interested, to feed my friend with. Always! Feed my friend with things that are;
True |Noble |Reputable |Authentic |Compelling | gracious--the best, not the worst; | the beautiful, not the ugly; | Things to praise, not things to curse.
Fash: Hey Prayer, I think we have to be realistic here. These things are hard to achieve. There are too many ills in the world for me to keep my thoughts focused on these things all day.
P: Yeah, you just said it! You think it is hard, so it is. To make this very practical, let’s take a walk into the next street. There are certain people called mad – the mentally challenged.
As hard as it is to find any gracious or beautiful thing about their life, I will share with you 10 things right now that make them VIP (Very Important Persons) in any community.
Emotionally
1. They help you to feel human (seeing them strikes chord in your bowels of sympathy and engages your humanity)
2. They offer you an opportunity to do something that makes a huge difference or impact.
Economically
3. They provide jobs for people with specialized skills (doctors, nurses, NGOs, government agencies and so on.)
4. They provide jobs for people without specialized skills (volunteers, missionaries and so on.)
Capacity Building
5. They push people to become real problem solvers.
6. They push people to research, try out and validate solutions they'd never thought about.
Beautiful Reflection
7. They help people to appreciate small things and pay attention to details
8. They help people to slow down, take some rest and say a good Prayer.
Kindness
9. They listen more (They think a lot, even if it isn't useful)
10. They don't bother about what doesn't matter (why some of them don't bother about their food, shelter or clothing is strange to me)
I would have loved to explain each of these points one after the other, perhaps we can do that over lunch at another time.
To find the beautiful things in yourself and in others are not hard, but it takes conscious effort, it takes you having love burning as fire in your belly; it takes you pausing to use my friend – Thoughts, correctly.
Let me say a few things about my other special colleagues.
Fash: Please go ahead. My head is spinning right now just like a fast-moving disc in a music player.
P: Words, one of my special colleagues, works so closely with Thoughts. They work together and their combination is really cool for my job.
Sometimes, I wait for what Words would say after Thoughts is done before moving into action. I would have loved to share a lot more on this too, but we can hold it there for now.
Words has body parts; hands, legs, eyes, ears, intestines, and of course private parts. Consider the examples below:
“Words can pull your hands from your pocket to tear your well-ironed shirt on the street just to show the other dude why he should respect you.
The taste of some words is sour; the scent of other words is very sweet. Sour words that walk into the wrong part of your system can chain you up in blame and bitterness for decades.
The ears of words are never heavy. Words can listen to your actions and easily convert them into other formats. You don't want to say what you don't mean or mean what you didn't say.
If you have been to a law court, you will understand how clear the eyes of words can be. The eyes of words will search out secrets; Words can hold your hands and with the eyes, lead you through the tunnel.
The private parts of words is the intercourse that we daily experience, usually the male words come with authority; the female words come with affection, emotion and care. Your choice of the right word partner determines if the news is a headache or a gospel.
Words can travel distances, shuffle between time zones, spread its wings beyond territories, it isn't restricted by space or time.
They can freely walk into generations yet unborn, they can dig into millennium when we weren't here. You can't touch them, but when they touch you, you've got to be transformed.”
Fash: I really love your friend - Words. I heard many people love him so much that they make money through him.
P: Yes, many people, ranging from singers, to comedians, to pastors, to teachers, to government officials, to pilots to fishermen. He is pretty awesome.
Fash: So how important is he to the line of your work?
P: After Thoughts, he’s a double check for me to confirm you guys’ request and to specifically deliver the results accordingly.
Fash: Hmmm… Beautiful! Tell me about one more person in your circle.
P: Sacrifice is another. As for Sacrifice, that’s kind of a little tricky.
Most of you think Sacrifice is the gifts you bring to appease someone or to ask for some favour. Well, that’s just half the truth.
To put this in a simple digestible way;
“Sacrifice is giving away something you value or that is valuable to the receiver”
And for every time you heartily give away these valuables, you automatically kick me into action. What I do is to harness for you possibilities and opportunities in all directions.
Fash: I need to come in here. See, I have given away countless valuables and none of it turned into all those possibilities and opportunities you are ranting about. Of which I told Worry about this problem. Did you eat up all the opportunities?
P: The ones you felt you didn’t receive back were the ones thrown to your laps and cre
dited to your account everyday that you’ve refused to embrace.
In fact, for every human being alive, there is a daily portion of blessedness that is delivered every morning by 00:00. It is your decision to either use it maximally or waste it effectively. My job is to get it to be released, yours is to embrace it.
Fash, there’s such a huge queue of people waiting to have a word with me as always, I need to go now.
Fash: Waoh, Waoh…! I am spellbound.

Rather than struggle with the eating of the dried fish, there are several other willing fishes that are looking for partnership. Go to them and invest your energy in them. Go for it.
