Dystopian Girls 6

I searched for a battery compartment. If it was just a matter of swapping out some backup batteries, I could do that easily. Sadly, I couldn't find one. In my frustration I finally opted for taking the thing apart. There was no chance of electrocution, I figured, since there was no power. But I was careful just the same.
The girls were getting concerned about me each time I had to go in search of a new tool. I was mumbling to myself in agitation at times, not feeling near as stress free as earlier. They were all making great progress in prepping the house to become our permanent home. Only I was failing to get my job done. Each time I passed the billiards table it called to me mockingly. I was certainly ready for some relaxation, but I couldn't allow myself to stop working until I got the solar power issue resolved.
Three frustrating hours passed without any success whatsoever. Alexa, sensing that I was getting angry, came down to call me to dinner. She couldn't cook anything, because I still didn't have the power on.
"We have canned fruit, vegetables and crackers," she informed me. There was no hint of disappointment in her voice. Her and the other girls were being very patient with the lack of electricity.
"Can we use the fireplace to heat food?" Stella asked. She had washed her hands with soap and a wet sponge but hadn’t bothered to comb her hair or remove the dirty smudges from her face.
"Not during the day," Bianka told her as she joined us at the kitchen island. Jada decided to keep a watch on the neighborhood as the rest of us took a meal break. "The smoke will give us away."
"We could do our cooking at night," Alexa suggested. She was looking fresh as a daisy. Clean all over with her silky blonde hair draping down her back. She even put on a new shirt that she found in one of the dressers.
"I'd be worried that people would smell the smoke and come to investigate," I replied. "If there are really patrols in this neighborhood, we'll need to avoid that. Over the next couple days, we should investigate the area a little better. We'll need more supplies anyway. The more we know about this neighborhood the better we’ll be able to protect ourselves and stay secluded."
"Flashlights, lanterns and batteries," Riley informed me. As always, she was in charge of our inventory. "Toilet paper, soap and some books to read."
"I'd like to have more gardening tools, too," Stella told us. She was always hesitant to ask for anything for herself. However, this house was not stocked with typical tools needed on a farm.
"Maybe some of those powder flavor packets to add to the water for variety sake," Bianka suggested.
It was the first time that I had eaten food from a plate in several days. I sighed and decided to relax a bit. I knew that I was putting too much pressure on myself to fix the power problem in one day. After my successes and experience in previous homes I just expected it to go smoothly this time.
"I'm gonna see if I can find another inverter in one of the houses, or at least some parts," I told them. "I'm sorry that I haven't..."
Jada came rushing into the main living area from the forward bedroom. "Two more men walking down the street," she said in a low voice. "They look unarmed, but they are glancing around. I'm worried that maybe we were spotted."
Bianka and I followed Jada back to the window. "Yep, those are the same two guys as earlier," she said. “Maybe they are looking out for zombies and didn’t even notice us here.”
"They look like the two men that the bull chased away, too," I added. "Just different clothes."
"Maybe they are the only neighbors that we have," Bianka said hopefully. “Instead of sentinel duty these two guys are just out getting their exercise.”
I didn't think so. They were strolling too confidently through the area. The way people did because they weren’t expecting any problems. In this world that meant that you owned the place. They had to be on patrol.
CHAPTER SEVEN:
I wasn't in the mood for a party, but I could certainly use a drink. We were all done working for the day. The girls were busy getting their bedrooms ready for the night. I was told that it was Riley's turn to spend the night with me, which was fine. She was prepping the master bedroom as I sat solemnly at the bar in the basement. Stella and Jada would each get a room to themselves while Alexa shared a bed with Bianka for the first time.
There were three padded stools at the basement bar, each with a low back rest. They were in good condition, but definitely not new. The u-shaped section for serving alcohol was professionally made onsite, I surmised. Not extravagant by any means, but very nice for a private home.
I counted three different bottles of whiskey, all opened already. The scotch was less than half full, but the Irish and the rye had plenty. Only one of the four vodka bottles had been opened. The three that were flavored still had the seal. A fancy bottle of tequila sat in the center of the display with barely an inch left. A variety of other liquors and mixers filled the middle shelf. Above them were nice shot, twelve ounce and wine glasses. Below could be found stirrers, coasters, towels and margarita salt. I got the impression that this family entertained small groups of people here. Maybe close friends or business associates.
I kept my hand around the wide shot glass as I stared at the smooth brown liquid. I had poured myself about an inch and a half of the Irish whiskey and had only taken a sip so far. There was no ice, of course. Without it my drink amounted to a heavier pour than I had intended.
"So, your wife asked me about the butt sex," Jada said as she entered the room from the steps.
"Which one?" I asked, meaning which wife. Not which butt sex.
"Riley," she replied as she slid onto the bar stool beside me to wrap her hand around mine. The one that was around the glass. She wanted to taste my drink. I relinquished the whiskey and watched as she downed a decent portion in one gulp. Her eyes bugged slightly as she nearly gasped for air. "That's strong," she said.
"What did you tell Riley?" I asked, not in the mood to talk about the liquor.
"That it was none of her business," she smirked.
"Really?" I asked. I thought that maybe Jada would brag about having something that the wives hadn't. But that would only encourage the others to duplicate the act which would ruin it. I wasn’t sure how I felt about a competitive anal environment.
"I know it is hard to keep our sex lives private around here," Jada said as she slid the glass back to my hand. "But if I wanted the other girls know the details we might as well just fuck in front of them. Right on the living room floor while they are having dinner. Or breakfast, depending on when we are horny. I know you like to wake up with a raging boner. Or at least I'm told."
I laughed. It was good to see the naughty side of Jada's personality again. We had been through so much together. In battle, and in private. I thought back to her comment yesterday about becoming one of my wives. Was it just a play to get the big bedroom?
Jada stared at me for a moment, perhaps trying to figure out what I was thinking. I hoped that she would so we could talk about it. I figured just bringing it up out of the blue would probably not yield a serious conversation.
"I think Riley will let you put it wherever you want," Jada told me. "Maybe even balls deep in her ass, if you want. Though that would have to be painful. I'm assuming. Who knows, maybe she shoves things up there all the time..."
"Stop," I said.
Surprised, Jada took a moment to reply. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," I answered with a shrug. "I just don't want to talk about those kinds of things right now, if you don't mind."
Jada nodded, then snatched another sip of my whiskey before encouraging me to drink the rest. "You're worried about these patrol guys, aren't you?"
"Yes, a little," I told her. "They didn't have guns, though. If we can't stay hidden, we might just have to try and scare them off. Maybe they have heard of us. The Coalition certainly had."
"That's true."
"I'm also worried that I can't get the solar power working," I added with the feel of defeat.
"We'
ll get by until you get it figured out," Jada replied with a hand on my shoulder. "Don't stress over it. The girls are patient after everything that they've been through. We are all just happy to have a new place to call our own. And to still be together."
"I'm certainly glad that I didn't lose any of you."
"I think you will be stuck with all five of us for quite a while," Jada said with a smile. She was taking first shift at guard duty, but she looked like she had just cleaned herself up nice. Was it for coming to talk to me? The curls in her hair weren’t as tight as they once had been, and it made me wonder if my girls would ever enter a beauty salon again in their lifetime.
I stared at her for a while debating on whether to say it. Finally, I decided why not? "As wives?
Jada laughed and smiled, then squinted her eyes at me as she realized that I was serious. "Do you really need me to be one of your wives?"
I didn't answer verbally because I didn't know what to say. I certainly didn't want to lose her, or ever see her with another man. I wasn't in need of a ceremony or anything. I just needed to know that she would stay with me forever. I felt that way with Alexa, Riley and Stella because they announced their commitment. In some ways I felt more like that with Bianka than I did Jada.
"I'll never go looking for another man, Mason," she finally said. "Is that what you are worried about?"
I shrugged, then downed the rest of the whiskey. It was what concerned me, but I wasn’t sure that I wanted to admit to it openly.
"Don't you have enough women devoted to you as their husband?"
"I love you," I told her, deciding to take the conversation to a more delicate level. "Just because I love them, too, doesn't mean that I want to take chances with you."
"You are not taking chances, sweetheart," she whispered to me after a kiss on my cheek. "I know how you feel, and you should by now know how I feel. If you want to think of me as one of your wives, so be it. Riley can even add me to the carousel of fucking schedule, if you want. But if I get horny when it is not my day, I'm still coming after that cock of yours."
"Oh, it is just about my penis, then?"
Jada laughed. "No, Mason. I want all of you. But not tonight, though. Riley is upstairs waiting for you. I'm sure she won't have a fit if we spend half the night down here by ourselves, but she deserves her time with you. If anybody does, it is her."
I nodded my agreement. She then gave me a kiss on the forehead and walked toward the stairs. She stopped at the bottom to look back at me. I knew that I shouldn't delay any longer. Perhaps that was the reason that Jada came down in the first place. Maybe my desire for some alone time had scared them. I knew that Jada wasn't as selfish as she sometimes appeared. But I may have underestimated her commitment to the happiness of every member in our group.
"Is everything okay, sweetie?" Riley asked me as I topped the staircase. She was standing in the hallway waiting for me.
"Sure," I replied. Either the whiskey was hitting me finally, or my body was just coming to terms with how much work I had done during the day. "I'm ready for bed."
"Maybe you should say goodnight to the other wives before you come in," Riley suggested as she walked toward the master bedroom that had been declared mine. "Jada is taking first shift at guard duty. The other three are already in their rooms."
Was she thinking of all the women of our small clan as my wives? Even Bianka?
"Hi Mason," Stella said I walked into her room. Her door was left open and she probably heard Riley sending me her way. She was already sitting up on the edge of the bed waiting, but I could tell by the sheets that she was lying down before that. "Are you here to tuck me in?" she asked with that shy teenage smile of hers. She knew what she was doing when she played the schoolgirl role with me.
I gave her a kiss and incidentally touched several parts of her body as I helped her back into bed. Pulling up the covers I gave her another smooch on the lips and told her how much I loved her. She told me to have a good night with Riley as I left the room.
The next bedroom had its door closed. That was where my first wife would be spending her first night with the gorgeous blonde lesbian that had essentially become my best friend. I wasn't sure how I felt about that. I knocked on the door and waited for an invitation to come in. I was glad to receive it immediately. I wasn't interrupting anything evidently.
Bianka was tied up in a sex swing while Alexa was adjusting her strap-on dildo. No, not really. But that vision passed through my mind as I opened the door slowly. Instead, I found them both seated on the bed facing each other with their legs tucked up. Their t-shirt and terrycloth shorts were standard bedclothes. The bed was still made, though. They were just sitting there talking. I wondered if Alexa was shy about getting under the covers with the woman that she knew longed to make love to her. There was no way for her to even keep it a secret.
"How is everything in here?" I asked with aroused curiosity.
"We're fine," Alexa replied as she patted the space on the bed between them.
"What are you two talking about?"
"Sex," Alexa replied with an excited grin.
"Really?" I asked, unable to completely conceal my concern. "Is that what you two have planned for tonight?"
"What?" Alexa asked as Bianka laughed. "No, we're talking about sex with you. You're not really worried about me sleeping with Bianka are you?"
I turned to face the unbelievably attractive lesbian to see her smiling while shaking her head. "Mason, I wouldn't do you like that," she told me with all sincerity. "And even if I couldn’t control myself, surely you know that Alexa wouldn't."
I turned back to face my first wife again. She almost looked angry. No, it was more like disappointment. In me.
"No," I answered as I reached for Alexa's hand. "I wasn't serious, of course."
"Good." But she had to know better. I was a little bit serious.
"So, why were you talking about sex with me?" I asked.
"Because tomorrow is my night," Alexa answered, letting the issue of my jealousy go. "And I'm trying to talk Bianka into joining us."
"Really?" That did sound good. For me. But maybe not such a good idea overall. Things went bad after our last attempt with Jamila. It took days for our relationship to heal after that. I wasn’t sure it was worth taking another chance.
"I wouldn't be having anything to do with that thing in your pants," Bianka clarified.
"Not at first," Alexa corrected her. Then when she saw Bianka's reaction, "Or at all if she didn't want to. But the option would be there. If you are okay with the idea, sweetie."
I did a double take between them, then asked, "Seriously?"
"The only way that Alexa and I would touch each other sexually," Bianka attempted to explain things for me. "Would be in a threesome with you. We both already knew that. I'm getting the impression that you did not."
"No," I replied hastily. "I mean, yes. I knew that. I just didn't know that the threesome was a real possibility."
"Well..." Bianka didn't look comfortable saying anything more.
Alexa then excused herself to climb around me on the bed. When she sat beside Bianka and placed her arm around her, I was confused once again. "Bia, just tell Mason what you told me," Alexa encouraged her. I didn't fail to take note of the pet name that she used.
Bianka stared at me with a touch of fear in her eyes. But there was more than a touch of love there as well. I wasn't sure what to do or say, but I naturally reached for her hand. If she had something to tell me I wanted her to be comfortable saying it. We were close, when it came to friendship. And we both knew that we had feelings for each other.
Bianka released a heavy sigh, then said, "Okay." She squeezed my hand as she worked up the courage to say something. As I waited, Alexa rubbed Bianka's shoulders and placed an encouraging kiss on her cheek.
"I love you, Mason," Bianka said softly. "But you already know that. And I know that you love me, too. It has never really been about that. And Alexa has helped
me understand and appreciate it. In my heart, I am yours. I no longer seek another mate. It is true, I am gay. I look at Alexa and I think all kinds of ..."
"Let's not focus on that part," Alexa whispered to her.
"Yeah, okay," Bianka continued, refocusing on me. "If something were to happen to you... If we were to lose you somehow, I would mourn for you like a wife would. Alexa knew this, even if I didn't myself. But when she pointed it out, I think I finally understood. You see, I thought that I would be turning my back on my kind, and on all the things in my past that make me who am I, if I were to really love you. But years ago, when I fell in love with another teenage girl it was because gender didn't matter. After that relationship I was still attractive to women, though. So, that made me a lesbian. But deep down in my heart, I just want to love the people that love me. And in a way that feels right."
