Bianka took a heavy breath and allowed time for either of us to interrupt her. But we didn't.

"I love Stella like a younger sister. I would kill to protect her without question. Just because she is a female doesn't mean that my love for her means anything else. I love Jada like a relative, too. And maybe a bit like a mentor. I have never lusted after either of them. Or Riley, which I also love. Even though she is not older, I look to her like I would my mother, or maybe an aunt that I really, really respect. Do you understand?"

"I think so," I answered. "But not all of it, yet."

"That's because she has more to say," Alexa said as she nodded for her new bedfellow to continue.

"Yes, well. I guess here it is," Bianka told me. "I do want to be with Alexa sexually. I am attracted to her like a potential lover. She is not my sister, my mother, or anything remotely like a relative. I want to be with her passionately."

I stared at her confused. I obviously was not understanding everything that the two of them were trying to get across to me.

"Again," Bianka clarified while touching my arm. "I would never do that to you. Nor would she. To me that would be like betraying my best friend, because that is what you are to me."

Still confused, and Bianka could clearly see that on my face.

"But you have become my best friend sort of in the way that a good husband is the best friend of his loving wife. I want to get even closer to you in that way. Like a wife. My heart wants it, even if my body is not yearning for it. At least not as much as it yearns for Alexa..."

  "Bia," Alexa whispered to her.

"Okay," Bianka said with an awkward chuckle. "I know I am not being clear. I can see by the way that you are looking at me that I have messed this up. I'm really sorry about that."

"No," Alexa hugged her. "Don't be sorry. You did great. I know how hard it was for you to say all that. But if it is okay with you, may I explain what it means for Mason?" Bianka nodded. "Let me put it simple terms for him."

"Simple?" I asked, feeling like maybe I should be offended.

"I'm not calling you simple, you dimwit," Alexa said with a smile. Bianka laughed, so I tried to join in. But I was just too confused. "I just want to make it easier for you to understand. Bianka was talking in womenspeak. You want to hear it in plainspeak."

"Okay," I nodded. That actually sounded about right.

"Bianka would like to become your fourth wife, or fifth wife if Jada has already come forward," Alexa told me, waving us off when we tried to question the comment about Jada. "She would like to sleep in your bed when it is her turn. Like Stella in the beginning, she is not yet comfortable for what that might mean sexually. Only, those two are really different obviously. I would very much like to assist her in that regard. The way that it would work best is if the three of us would engage in sexual activity together."

I stayed motionless, waiting for this to be real. Was I given permission to have sex with Bianka? Was it going to be okay afterward if I did? Did Bianka really want to be treated like one of my wives?

"Sweetie," Alexa said to me. "Would you like to have a threesome with me and Bianka tomorrow night?"

  "Uh, yes?"

"To make that happen, as well as everything else that we have been talking about, would you allow me to take the lead?"

  "Uh, sure. Okay."

"That means that her and I will be touching each other sexually. As will you and I, and eventually you and her. I wouldn't expect you to penetrate her vagina tomorrow night."

  "Oh, God," Bianka muttered.

"But you can put it in mine, obviously," Alexa said. "And you will be able to touch her body when you kiss her. And she can touch yours. Let's just leave it at that and see how it goes."

I nodded, not completely sure about how excited I was supposed to be. My first wife used to be super jealous. Bianka used to be anti-cock. Both were apparently getting over those things. Would jumping in the air screaming, fuck yeah be inappropriate?

Before I could finish contemplating those things, they told me to leave. It was Riley's night, and they didn't want me thinking about the two of them while I was with her. Did they really have no idea how a man's mind worked?

I opened the door to my bedroom without knocking. It was, after all, my bedroom. There I found Riley waiting patiently on the bed, completely nude.

She was usually so serious during the day that it was easy to forget how incredibly sexy she was physically. Thinner than the rest, but in a supermodel sort of way. An angelic face and pure heart full of devotion to me. What could be more arousing?

I smiled as I crawled onto the bed to give her a kiss. She returned it with a passion that was carefully calculated to match my own. That was how she did things. She wanted to be exactly what I needed at the moment. At all times.

"If you are interested," Riley whispered in my ear. "You can put it in my butt."

I laughed as I pulled back to look at her. Was she being serious? Oh, shit! She was serious.

"I don't know what Jada did for you, but if you liked it you can do it with me also," she explained. "I found a dildo in the dresser earlier," she gestured to the corner chest of drawers. "After cleaning it thoroughly I practiced with it a couple times to get ready."

  "You didn't have to..."

"I wanted to," she said. "For you."

"Did it feel good?" I asked her as I pictured her on her knees looking back at her narrow ass. The look in her face as she forced a sex toy into her tight bunghole. Maybe even tossing her black hair around as she got more aggressive with it.

  "Uh..."

"Be honest, Riley," I said. She liked it when things were presented up front. I needed her to do the same for me. "I'm not really into butt play, at least not yet. It was a very brief experience with Jada, and it was for her benefit, not mine. Did you enjoy pushing the dildo up your ass?"

Riley's eyes got big and a genuine smile crept across her typically stoic face. "No," she said. "It hurt like hell. But I would endure it for you...."

I grabbed her head with both hands and placed the most passionate kiss on her lips. I wanted to outdo every sexual experience that I ever had with her. Like the others were saying all evening, Riley deserved it. This night was going to be all about her. Hell, she could shove the dildo up my ass if it was something she enjoyed seeing. Hopefully not, but I was committed to making the experience all about her. In fact, I rarely thought about tomorrow's threesome with Alexa and Bianka while we made love. And when I did, I had no trouble pushing it back out of my mind.

I gave Riley four orgasms that night. She screamed for each and every one. I had to put my hand over her mouth for security reasons. She kept trying to make me cum, but I fought it off to give her as much pleasure as she could endure. After her third climax she sucked me like a high-powered vacuum. I couldn't hold back anymore. But once I recovered, I was right back on top of her going for number four.

The smile on her face as she fell asleep was almost fake. It was just so big and unreserved that I didn't realize she could even smile like that. I made me feel really good. All the day's troubles melted away. I was happy in the moment as I too fell asleep on her thin, flat belly. In her slumber she had a few aftershocks that shook her legs and pelvis, causing me to wake up briefly. Then she would apologize while she giggled.

  CHAPTER EIGHT:

I didn't want to leave our new home abandoned, but I also wasn't a big fan of splitting up. There were too many dangers in the world to take a chance on not having the right person with you to face them. Besides, our new place didn't look much different since we took it over. It shouldn't be attracting attention. And we did manage to find two door keys so we could lock up when we left.

Walking back the way that we had entered the neighborhood brought us to the hiking path that led to the river. There was another path that traveled alongside the waterway to take us back toward our old compound. It meandered with the river, so it was not the most direct route, but the walkway was clear. It
was better than trudging through the thick woods and would enable us a quick getaway if needed.

What should have been a twenty-five-minute hike took us over an hour due to extra caution. Plus, we had to dissuade a large shuffle of zombies from attacking us. There were eleven of them, all women though it was hard to be sure with the ones that were in the worst shape. We encountered them along the path over halfway through our journey. We opted to go around them once they were pacified by Jada's special skill. That required navigating through some thorned bushes and carcass riddled tall grass.

The wretched formed sub-humans were clinging to the path, but that didn’t really indicate a level of intelligence. It was simply a matter of the path of least resistance, literally. Their stench was overwhelming causing some of us to gag despite building up a tolerance for bad odors. I was eager to get clear of them.

"Why are there so many of them?" Riley asked.

"I guess they are banding together for survival reasons," I answered. “Just like the skanks liked to do.”

"Yeah," Riley said then. "But I thought there was a limited number of skanks that reacted so poorly to the tested vaccine. And you would think that many of them would have been killed by now."

"That's true. We ourselves have seen many of them die already."

"The Coalition must have made more zombies than we were told," Jada offered.

"Or someone else did," I said. That was a dreadful thought.

Regardless of how it happened, we were encountering the new zombie strain more regularly and never spotting the old skank virus victims at all. The world was changing for the worse right before our eyes.

More than a dozen homes had been burned to the ground where we used to live. It was disheartening even though we had expected it. We made our way slowly along the river as Bianka scouted with her feline abilities and Alexa reached out with her extra sense. The place appeared to be abandoned. There was no movement to spot for the several minutes that I watched the dismal scene.

The lingering stench of fire surely discouraged human and animals alike from coming around. Anyone that knew about the prosperity of our community of more than a hundred people should expect there to be plenty worth looting. Either no one was left to do so, or it was already done during our absence.

Rejoining the river path took us right to the rear gate of the house that we called home for a few weeks. It was tragically sad to see it in ashes. Not just for our own sake, but for Joel and Martha, the original owners that had successfully prepped for the apocalypse. I felt like I had let them down just like everyone else. The depressing feeling creeping through my muscles was challenging to fight off. We needed to find something to be excited about soon.

Surprisingly, part of the barn had survived the battle. I was sure that I had seen a fireball strike the structure. Most of our fishing gear was just where we left it. Our water barrels had been scattered somehow, but we managed to find four of them. The industrial filters that made the river water drinkable were untouched, sitting right there in the old laundry basket. We happily scooped them up. That gift alone was enough to raise our spirits. Clean drinking water was the most basic necessity in a ravaged land.

Most of our supplies were kept in the basement of the house. Those were all destroyed. If we spent enough time sifting through the soot, we might be able to salvage a few things, but in my mind it wasn't worth it. Much of the fence with barbwire was missing due to fire or being run over with a truck. We could easily be spotted by anyone hiding nearby. Though Alexa assured us that she couldn’t sense people within her range, I kept getting the eerie sensation of being watched.

Many hands make light work, so that was another reason for bringing everyone along. The sadness at seeing our old compound destroyed faded even more on our way back. Once out of sight the sorrow for our loss diminished. We knew that our new home was better in some ways. With a nearly limitless supply of drinking water via the reclaimed filters, things were actually looking good. If only I could get the solar power working.

I spotted two homes with solar panels as we journeyed back to Northwest Drive. It added a lot of time to our trek, but I insisted on stealing the two power inverters and any parts that I could salvage. That was about the capacity of our carrying ability unless we found a wagon like we used to use in the early days. Back when it was just me and Alexa. Then Jada and Riley had come along. I couldn't remember what ever happened to the thing. It wasn’t much use on uneven ground or when in a hurry to avoid trouble, so it didn’t matter.

"Jamila was using it when she was cleaning out the skank houses," Riley informed me. I recalled seeing it in the front yard of one of those houses with pieces of moldy drywall. My clan secretary often knew where every piece of valuable equipment was back in those days.

My heart ached at the thought of Jamila missing. Had she survived the attack by Mister Skull? Did she manage to run away with some of the reborn women that followed her? Or is she dead along with a hundred more that we used to know?

The ex-stripper was unique in many ways. She was not immune to the viruses that plagued mankind like the rest of us. No, she was a skank when we first met. She was the first to benefit from the vaccine that we acquired and fully heal. And the only previously diseased woman to be accepted into our home.

Her personality was special as well. At least it was to me. She didn’t completely endear herself to the other women evidently. I wondered if she were with us now would she too be welcome into the official harem that I was expanding? Or would they still consider her too much of an outsider?

The second house where I stole the inverter from the basement had a family of foxes living in it. Not nice little furry things either. Rabid, crazy eyed, and aggressive. One had that trance power that so many animals seemed to have acquired. I remembered the first time we encountered one while we were living in the old beer and wine store. What we wouldn't have given for Jada's taming ability back then. Of course, she couldn't be tranced and still use her ability.

Riley's immunity came in handy and distracted the beast so Jada could do her thing. Otherwise, we would have had to kill some of them, if not all. They probably should have been put down but seeing them as a family wanting to protect their young made it difficult for me to wish harm on them.

That path that led us back to our street connected at the intersection with Oakwood Street. It was a T where we could look straight forward and see a couple blocks on Oakwood or look left to see two blocks of Northwest Drive all the way to the main road. Columbia Pike had a group of at least a dozen people on it. Regular humans, it looked like. Not skanks or zombies.

"I wonder what that is about?" Jada muttered.

"Should I check it out?" Bianka asked.

"No," I answered. "Let's get back to our place and make sure everything there is still okay. Then we can fill up the water barrels from the river and work on lunch. Maybe after that we'll do some more salvage and recon."

"Hopefully one of those inverters will work," Riley said to me. "We'll be fine on food and water for a while."

"We still need flashlights and batteries," Alexa reminded her.

"And gardening tools," Stella added. "If it is not too much trouble."

"I'd like to stockpile supplies each day if we can," I told the group. "But I think that we've already done our share for today."

We headed through the backyards along the curve of the street until we reached our wooden privacy fence. It was still sealed up from the inside. Bianka went around and unlocked the front door of the house so she could open the gate for us. There was no sense in carrying our supplies closer to the street than necessary. Some of them would be staying in the backyard or at least just inside the back door.

Nothing had been noticeably disturbed inside the house or out in the yard. Everything was just as we left it. So, we went about our list of chores while Alexa picked out some more canned food for lunch. We were settling back into our old productive ways and it honestly felt good. The mor
e that we worked the more that we appreciated what we had instead of missing what we had lost. However, we couldn’t help our minds lingering in the past on occasions.

"I miss Ling," Stella told me as we were both working in the garden. I had borrowed her shovel to dig more holes for future toilet sites. Without a post hole digger, I couldn't go more than a foot and a half deep without making it too wide to support the box commode that I constructed.

"Me, too," I laughed. Stella looked at me funny, since missing a loved one should make me sad instead of humored. "I'm sorry. I was just remembering some of the crazy shit that she told me back before the attack."

"She was a special kind of crazy," Stella chuckled.

I started to tell her about the things Ling thought about to help her conjure up her phantom demons. But there were so many sexual references to the story that I had to cut it short. The part where she was wearing one of Camilla's gowns and waiting for me to give her a passionate kiss made me overly emotional. I had to choke back some tears.
