The main character faces the challenge of forming a rogues gallery into a community, deals with demons who would destroy him, and beautiful angels who help him. They must find something to live for in Asphedolus, or their situation is no better than in Hell and a final ending in ashes or the Lake Of Fire.Characters include William Shakespeare, an real executioner from history, a pirate, women wrongly killed, and present day deaths, to bring seven subplots together at the end.
